another update on this: A friend of mine did a sick paintover suggesting signage and turning it into an alley entrance of a dive bar, which im pretty down for so, signage and appropriate lighting is next up :)

update on the wall thing

Stuff to do :

-the wall is currently tileable, im gonna break that and turn it into a unique texture (stains drips whatever) (possibly actually nvm, decals will be easier..)

-Making a few papers to scatter here and there and plaster on the wall - trash etc

-Adding puddles in those deep cracks and the gutter space to get some neat reflections

-havnt messed with the spec on the man hole cover

-brick uvs and geo still placeholder

-ao gets a bit dark in places like under the bricks - that needs some more loving

first one is an exersize on materials for next gen stuff, this just the initial bake down, no spec or diffuse work as of yet. Still scene planning a bit

bunker wip -Its almost there, I just want to add a bunch of plants, make it look like its placed in big bend, texas.
Also, the rocks I made in a hurry to translate what my thoughts were for the terrain, but they prob need some loving.

Finally getting to paint out doors! Its a BLAST, but wow so much to think about/not think about.

In every painting I did, I liked my value sketch better than the final result. Wish I could go again this week, but currently I'm focusing on an art test.

(removed my "final" of this cause its embarrassing... LOL)

so the lady that was supposed to come flaked, and this dude that we draw with volunteered. Which is awesome in so many ways, one of them being cause i need PRACTICE drawing dudes, so hard for me. Also he had an awesome face...except he kept staring at me while i was drawing him which made it VERY awkward to focus on his face.

this lady brought her own hats...? Also, she tended to stare at me straight in the eyes which was an interesting challenge. I tried staring right back at her to see if maybe she would get weirded out and stop, but then i just got weirded out. So, she won that round of staring chicken...

No painting this week cause im morbidly embarrassed of it (more so than usual) finished modeling all the bits for the baby, on to the uvs ( im so epicly slow ) the next update on that will be updated after baking before textures with scene composition.
