Personal Quote

2012-09-27T10:51:00.002-07:00

I don't fear the one who can take my life. I fear the one who can destroy my soul... No one on earth is perfect least of all me, but I try everyday to be better person. However that may sound, I do love to enjoy my life with friends and family. God is the only one that will judge me in the end. People spend to much time judging others based on their moral values and perceptions of life. I leave the judging to God... To God be the glory and to man be the judgement of a higher power.

They Pray For Us

2012-09-04T13:37:00.000-07:00

I was walking with a child on a bright sunny day.
She bent down to pluck a yellow flower from the ground.
I watched as she began to pluck the petals one by one.

I expected to hear the famous he loves me, he loves me not. But to my amazement she began a little prayer. Her words were so touching and wondrous. I pondered and listened as she began to recite a prayer for each petal she plucked.

Thank you God.
Thank you for my mommy,
Thank you for my mommy even though she might be mean to me sometimes.
Please watch over my mommy.
Please take care of my mommy.
Please watch over my sisters.
Thank you God.
Amen.

This event really took place. I watched the petals fall one by one. I couldn't help but want to cry. She touched my heart in way I haven't felt in long time. She reminded me the importance of being a good mother.

How far we've come from our little ones. Cherish your babies and nurture them. They do pray for us. This is for all the little angels that pray for us. God loves you and so do I.

Ode To Sisters Of The World

2012-04-26T20:02:00.000-07:00

Sister, let it be known that your life has value.
That the world would not exist without you.
Man would utterly be alone.

Through you, dreams are made.
Kings, Scholars, and Philosophers are born.
Sister your life has value.

Do not be dismayed for the time has come!
Men shall see the works of their hands.

Daughters do not weep, but be strong!
Mothers as the matriarch be diligent.
Sister see how great you are?

Take back the power that you so generously give!
To a man, a young man and a son so undeserving.

Man!
I say, wake up!

See the blessing that is before you.
See that that God has remembered you!

Do unto her what you would not do to yourself.
Tare no limbs!
Destroy no beauty!
Murder her not!

God has remembered you!

Sister when you were born; you were whole.
You are the bright beacon that shines in the night.
You are woman!

Man?
Can you see that she is wo man.
Out of your womb she was created.
Perfect to be as she was meant to be!

Man!

Why do you feel that she should not desire as you?
She is wo man!
Out of your womb!

Sister, you do have power!
Take it back!
Render not unto wolves!

Sister! God has remembered you!

You are Matriarch!
Leader!
Teacher!
Nurturer!
MOTHER!
YOU ARE WO MAN OF GOD!

A Mothers Deeds

2011-12-04T13:19:00.000-08:00

A mother cannot be separated sole by her deeds. A

mother and her deeds are one. Just like the

beginnings of life. Once it is done it cannot be

separated. Unless someone or something destroys it

A mother is always a mother whether her children are

good or bad. But she cannot keep paying for the

past. The past can't be undone. All we can do is

cherish what we have together and move forward, so

that your life is not full of regret.

A Woman Is Like A Rose

2011-11-02T18:04:00.000-07:00

A woman is like a rose.
She is beautiful to the eye of the beholder.
She smell sweet.
She nurtures her children.
And without them she is incomplete.

And when she is nurtured.
Nurtured with gentle words.
A gentle touch.
She is sweeter still.

For every blow,
For every pull,
A petal falls.

With a fowl word,
A crushing blow,
A petal must fall

Her Gardner leaves to attend to another rose.
When the Gardner returns she has changed.
Soon she withers.
But deep down she is dead.

She cannot bloom again until the sun rises.
She may change her color and even her size.
But inside she is not alive.

This is for the woman all over the world. Woman who have been disfigured. Woman who have been murdered. Woman who have unfaithful men. Woman who have been mutilated so they don't feel the touch as it was meant to be. Woman who have been beaten to the point of insanity. Woman who were sexually abused. And for all the little girls in other countries who are rejected because of their gender. They have tied to potties and left to die. God said, "Woman is the weaker vessel. Love her as you love yourself." To do anything else is against gods will. Women were meant to keep man from being lonely. She was a gift. I'm not talking about the unfaithful or cruel woman. I'm talking about the innocent ones who trusted and loved with all their heart, only to find it torn apart.

With Fall Comes Change

2011-10-01T20:55:00.000-07:00

Oh how the season change.
To see all that which is beautiful wither away.
The blessing of which was love taken above.
Oh how the season change.

Life continues.
But oh how I miss you.
A pretty smile and a warm embrace.
It's your face that I see.

Taken for granted.
The time wasted away.
To the earth you were reclaimed.

Oh how the season change.
Soon what remains is just a distant memory.
Was it a dream?
Was it real?
Is that all that remains?

Deserving of love unconditionally.
To grasp at it, only to see it slip away.
How unfair the seasons are.
One so blessed as a shinning star.

The dreams you had faded with you.
Oh how I miss you.
Oh how season change.
Oh how I hate this pain.

But someday we will be reclaimed
Bound to earth no more.
To hope and dream together.
Just like before.
Sister. Oh how the season change.
I'm ready to be reclaimed.

Quote from Grandma Ciria V. Garza 89 years old - Greater Sinner

2010-06-23T20:49:00.000-07:00

Who is the greater sinner? The Thief Or Victim?

The greatest sinner is not the one who stole but the one whose items were stolen..
Because the thief sins only one time, because he stole.
The person that was stolen from sins many times, because he/she accuses many people without really knowing who stole from them.

A quote from my grandmother. Ciria, V. Garza Born 1921.... And still living at the age of 89

Very wise words. Like fine wine my Grandmother gets better and wiser with age.
