He believes that success is possible by performing a series of small and smart steps. That's what he means by the term "compound effect."

He describes himself as the tortoise, who, he says, always wins the race, because even though he's slower, he's consistent. So rather than quick fixes or magic bullets, consistency is key. More specifically, it's the consistency of applying positive habits that leads to success.

One of Hardy's chapters focuses on building momentum so you can accomplish your goals. Basically, he believes in keeping a precise routine while at the same time regularly shaking up your everyday.

According to Hardy, "The key to becoming world-class in your endeavors is to build your performance around world-class routines." Elsewhere he writes: "The rhythm of daily action aligned with your goals creates the momentum that separates dreamers from super-achievers."

Here are some of his ideas for building momentum.

1. Develop a morning routine. The middle of the day is usually harder to anticipate or control, but you can almost always manage how your day begins (and ends), Hardy writes. He has a very specific morning routine, which might inspire you to create your own rise-and-shine rituals.

He wakes up between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. and snoozes for eight minutes. During that time, Hardy does three things. (Clearly, he makes the most of his time!) First, he thinks about everything he's grateful for. Second, he thinks of one person to send his love to, which he calls a "mental love letter." Third, he thinks about his No. 1 goal and considers the three things he's going to do today to make strides toward that goal.

For instance, as he was writing The Compound Effect, his most important goal was working on his marriage. So he'd plan three things he could do to make sure his wife felt loved.

Next, while brewing his coffee, Hardy performs various stretches for 10 minutes. Once his coffee is made, he spends 30 minutes reading something positive and informative. Then after the alarm sounds that his half hour is up, he works on his most important project for an hour.

At 7 a.m., he spends 15 minutes reviewing his top three goals for the year and for the next five years, his objectives for the quarter and top goal for the week and month.

He continues carving out his priorities by setting his top three "most valuable priorities" (MVP) for the day, which will generate the greatest results and move him toward his larger goals. Only after this activity does he check his email for the first time. Then he starts working on those MVPs.

2. Develop an evening routine. In the evening, Hardy likes to "cash out," which is when he evaluates how his day went and whether he accomplished everything he set out to do. He asks himself the following questions:

Compared to your plan for the day, how did it go? What do you need to carry over for tomorrow's plan? What else needs to be added, based on what showed up during the day? What's no longer important and needs to be scratched out?

Hardy also records any insights or ideas he's come up with that day. Before falling asleep, he reads about 10 pages of an inspiring book.

3. Shake up your routine. While having a routine is important, it also get can boring and sap your passion. Shaking up your routine helps you challenge yourself and think in new ways.

For instance, Hardy shakes up his routine with both big and small adventures, such as visiting new places, tasting new foods and taking new classes.

4. Plan ahead. Creating daily routines helps you develop a rhythm that takes you from a week to a month to a year, according to Hardy. And this naturally helps you build momentum. He compares rhythm-setting to a locomotive.

…Once the train starts rolling, the wheels get into a rhythm. If the pressure remains consistent, the train gains momentum, and watch out! At 55 miles an hour, that train can crash through a five-foot, steel-reinforced concrete wall and keep on going. Envisioning your success as an unstoppable locomotive may help you stay enthusiastic about getting into your own rhythm.

To get into the rhythm of deepening his marriage, Hardy and his wife plan their together time. Without exception at 6 p.m. — they set their alarms! — every Friday, they do something special. They don't work on Saturdays because that's designated as family day. Every Sunday at 6 p.m. they review their relationship. They discuss what they appreciated during the week along with the adjustments they can make for the next week. Every month they schedule memorable activities such as eating at a fancy restaurant or sailing in the bay. Every quarter they plan a getaway for two to three days.

Again, having a specific schedule takes the guesswork out of what you need to be doing next, which again, boosts momentum, Hardy writes. "Everything happens naturally. We've created a rhythm that gives us momentum."

5. Record behaviors on your "Rhythm Register." If you enjoy having a written record of your progress, then this tip is definitely for you. Hardy created a chart that "keep[s] track of the rhythm of a new behavior." It's like a score sheet where you write down how many times a week you actually performed a behavior, what your goal was and then your net result. You can download the "Rhythm Register" here along with other free resources.

Hardy's routine may be too rigid for many people. (It is for me.) But what I like about his plan is that he focuses on the activities that truly nourish him — as his morning routine shows — and doesn't let things like email rule his day. Instead of being a slave to tedious tasks, he focuses on pursuing meaningful goals. And even though he's super busy, he makes ample time for his loved ones and practices being grateful every day.

Margarita Tartakovsky, M.S. is an Associate Editor at Psych Central and blogs regularly about eating and self-image issues on her own blog, Weightless.

timothykendrick.org

Smoketipecigs

The Truth About Hypnosis

How would YOU like a RISK-FREE LIFE MAKEOVER?

How would YOU like a RISK-FREE LIFE MAKEOVER?

Let's be honest....

We all have things in our lives that we want to change. background-color:#fff; font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:12pt">
Silly Stories For Memorization

You've heard about several memory enhancing techniques. Linking and associating, creating a story out of several items you need to remember. There are in fact, many ways how you can remember important information such as numbers, events, errands and names. The challenge is how to make all the information easy to retrieve, out of the top of your head in a random situation.

Memory techniques work on anything that you like to master. There are things you may need to work on in memorizing something for the first time but all information has techniques on how they can all be memorized. It just takes a lot of interest and enthusiasm to be able to absorb all the information we want to understand and remember.

Creating an absurd and outrageous story from a list of non-related items will do well enough to stick in your head. What else is that it stays there in your memory the way the story is created, the chronological order and even the positioning of the character! The fun part about this technique is that there's no limit to how you want to create the story and the sillier it is; the easier for you to remember it and the keywords that comprise it.

Now you'll say what if you need to memorize an entire chapter of items and information; surely you can't create a novel out of this. True. But in fact, what you can do to get around this problem is to break down all the information you need to remember. Try to put the related or similar items in one cluster and name it. Do the same with the rest. You can also create acronyms out of the clusters you have made and then, create a silly story using the acronyms or the cluster of words you've created.

Once you have this ready, you can then associate mental images with the story and each key word you've made. It has been proven that the imagination, especially when there's clear images associated with it works efficiently – efficient enough to be remembered.

Following these techniques for the first time may come a bit slower and difficult but practicing them can gradually increase your expertise over any memorization tasks. You can learn more important details regarding memorization improvement techniques at http://memory-improvement-techniques.com.

timothykendrick.org

Smoketipecigs

The Truth About Hypnosis

timothykendrick.org

Smoketipecigs

The Truth About Hypnosis

How To Attract Love Into Your Life ABUNDANTLY

Here's something really special for you:

Discover The Long Lost Incredible Mind Power Secrets:
=> http://www.MindPowerSecretsPackage.com/specialoffer.html

You're about to get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to access "insider" shortcuts to creating a sensational life. One must overcome these weaknesses by removing barriers. By doing so, one can ensure the procedure of self-healing.

Weaknesses can prevail if we allow room. By knowing one self however, an entity can knock down the walls that blind them from progression. Cleaning the soul and mind is a great start to healing the internal self. Any negative thoughts must be cleaned.

We must take care of the body and mind. An entity must acquaint with self to use abilities from his, own knowledge to work through self-healing. Positive criticism must be developed and accepted as well. If you get out there and use your abilities to make them happen you are going to be much happier and feel good about yourself.

Help others feel good too. When you are able to show someone else the ability to live life to the fullest and be who he or she want to be you are going to feel good about yourself. This will help you realize that you are doing something for the sake of others and this will give you the emotional boost that you are looking for. It is going to be worth the time and the effort for you to take a chance and make someone feel great about whom they are.

Allow yourself some time to do things that you have always wanted to try. Never be afraid to go out there and do something different. Figure out something that you have never done before and that would make you feel good about who you are inside and out. Living life to the fullest will make you realize that you are not missing an opportunity and that you are getting out there and working hard to fix it all.

Give yourself something to feel good about each day. List something that you did that was worth your time and made you feel good. You want to make sure that you do something every day that makes you realize that you are successful and exciting. When you do this you will see that your mindset is different and you are feeling successfully emotional wise each day.

The Science of Personal Achievement by Napoleon Hill Click Here

Discover how to make real money with Facebook - click here

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

SmokeTip.com
SmokeTip - the worlds most advanced electronic cigarette!

Relax with Development thru Affirmative Visualization

As human beings, we all need to have goals in life to keep us happy in everything we do. When we do not have dreams or goals, it causes us to miss our purpose. When we lose sight of our purpose, it becomes harder to take action when opportunity comes our way.

How to use visualization to create goals:
Start visualizing yourself thinking positive. Consider what you want from life. Think about how you can get what you want from life while keeping focused on optimistic views. Consider how setting goals will benefit you.

How goals benefit you:
Goals are our aims in life. Goals provide us with motive and energy. We build up aspiration from setting goals, but the most important gain is having our purpose in sight. We need constructive techniques that are useful in helping us to work through visualizing our goals and developing new skills. You can change behaviors, habits, et cetera by retraining your mind to think positive. Make a list. Take account of your techniques. Comprise meditation and use positive thinking to decide how you can make these goals come true. Joining a group and learning with others will help you meet new people to build up your self-development skill to reach those goals. Breathing is very important when you are trying to relax to improve yourself. Breathing deep and slow will slow down your body and thinking to let you relax easier.

Some people like using music for relaxation to gain self-development goals. Music comes in many different sounds. One type of music may be helpful for you but not someone else. Use the one you can relate to best in order to reach your goals to a better and more success life.

Maybe music isn’t your thing. Try using candles in a quiet dark room. Candles are very relaxing and can help many people to reach their specific goals for the future. As the candles, burn watches the flame and use your imagination to carry you away somewhere that you’ve always wanted to be in life. In our search for success, we must aim to achieve goals that we set only after we work through the process of healing the hidden self. By building a higher plane of self-awareness, we can work through this process successfully.

Essentially, one must develop abilities and skills to work through development and to increase self-perception and awareness. Only then can one face the world with a positive mind. It is possible to work through self-healing processes and nurturing the hidden self.

We must move away from uncontrolled emotions while taking action to control our life. Establishing control of the body, mind and spirit will assist us with self-healing by using and developing new approaches to achieve fulfillment.

Despite one has achieved wealth, or fame, it does not mean that this person has healed the hidden self. Materials do not make who we are. Of course, money brings us a degree of financial security, yet it does not create the whole self. Because the whole self is left undiscovered, often one will feel temporary elation, yet true happiness is out of sight.

Inner healing is the primary goal to finding fulfillment. Our emotions and mental reactions often direct the way we feel about self. We must analyze and examine these elements of our human makeup, analyzing often to discover ways to reform our perceptions and conceptions.

We must stay aware, in tune of our thoughts. We must be able to control all our reactions and actions that result from our thoughts, produced by our conceptions.

Many people struggle with emotions. This is because these people have not explored self to their fullest ability to find their true direction. Often these people lack self-control, and will act on impulses. Impulses can lead us to react out of accord to our purpose, which leads to unfavorable consequences. Hence, we must develop self-control in order to think through each decision.

Learning to control our reactions and emotions in the authentic self-concept and healing process is essential. Our core principles can help us to change and to achieve a higher plane of awareness and self and healing. Failing to develop these traits will cause us to stagnate in our inflexibility in our concepts, which will hinder one from moving past negative emotions and concepts.

Our natural principles otherwise suffocate us as they come out in the open and are out of our control. We must learn to heal our inner selves to manage the impulsive facets in our human nature that are holding us back from our self-development.

Click Here To Enjoy The Ultimate Digital Drug at My Discounted Price

During the growing and self-development process, we must also learn the importance of flexibility. During the growing and developing phase, we must learn that life is active and does not remain constant. Developing flexibility will help you to see when you must establish core principles or main beliefs to replace your perceptions and conceptions that hinder you from healing the hidden self.

One must continue to seek healing the hidden self by analyzing and finding ways to abandon bad experiences that cause us to resist change. We must cease leading a compulsive life and move to new situations with different approaches in order to attain a controlled reaction with an open mind.

Experiences can lead to unhappiness. Most people will grab onto and hold negative feelings and thoughts, such as resentment, shame, guilt, fear, et cetera. Thus, in order to heal the hidden self one must abandon these negative aspects, taking down the walls and reconstructing the mind to move toward healing of the hidden being.

The Science of Personal Achievement by Napoleon Hill Click Here

Discover how to make real money with Facebook - click here

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

Assasins To Your Happiness by Chris Cade

Let's say you were put in charge of protecting the Emperor of Rome.

Let's also assume you like the Roman Emperor. He's a good guy. He hasn't fed any Christians to tigers or castrated his servant for spilling the wine.

The point is that you're in charge of guarding his palace. How serious would you be about this duty?

I think you'd be would be hyper-vigilant about who is allowed to enter. You'd also be very careful to make sure that the right people are leaving the building.

While on duty, you wouldn't be chatting with friends. You wouldn't be staring at the stars. You wouldn't be thinking about what you're going to have for dinner.

You'd be wide awake. Nothing gets in or out without you knowing. You need to protect the Emperor.

Well, why not be the same way with your subconscious mind?

That's one of the 17 tips included in Tip Sheet that went along with the the Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind Handbook I sent you the other day.

Sometimes people just download the main ebook and forget about the Tip Sheet. But the Tip Sheet handy resource. You can quickly print it out on a single sheet of paper. You can then post it somewhere that you'll see it often. If you didn't download it you can still can.

Your eyes and ears are the main doorways into your subconscious. Don't blindly allow anything to enter into them.

Don't sit through TV commercials.

Avoid reading hack novels.

Don't let any DJ on the radio decide what music you listen to.

And, likewise, be vigilant about what comes out of your mouth. What expressions do you use?

How do you react to negative situations? Do you curse and sigh? Or do you take a deep breath, smile and say something that helps the situation?

Guard everything that enters and leaves your mind.

Unfortunately, some of the most cunning negative thoughts enter and leave your mind all the time. They disguise themselves as friendly thoughts. Or at least "harmless thoughts." You think they are helping you. In truth, they are secretly plotting your fall.

Isn't that always the way? Brutus led 40 Roman senators in the assassination of Julius Caesar. Likewise, some of our closest and most trusted subconscious patterns may be out to ruin us.

Even more difficult is dealing with all the traitorous subconscious thinking that has already found a seat in our subconscious senate. How many endless repetitions of Chef Boyardee commercials did you see in the first 12 years of your life? Or were you subject to a verbally abusive parent or sibling?

The point is, self-sabotaging thoughts have already compromised your mental guard. He is creator of the Talent
Development Resources series of sites (including HighlySensitive.org)
at http://talentdevelop.com. I know many of you are “highly sensitive” and enjoy articles on that topic, so I am excited to pique his highly-sensitive brain today!

Question: If you had to name the top five gifts of being highly sensitive, what would they be?

Douglas:

1. Sensory detail

One of the prominent “virtues” of high sensitivity is the richness of sensory detail that life provides. The subtle shades of texture in clothing, and foods when cooking, the sounds of music or even traffic or people talking, fragrances and colors of nature. All of these may be more intense for highly sensitive people.

Of course, people are not simply “sensitive” or “not sensitive” — like other qualities and traits, it’s a matter of degree.

Years ago, I took a color discrimination test to work as a photographic technician, making color prints. The manager said I’d scored better, with more subtle distinctions between hues in the test charts, than anyone he had evaluated.

That kind of response to color makes visual experience rich and exciting, and can help visual artists and designers be even more excellent.

2. Nuances in meaning

The trait of high sensitivity also includes a strong tendency to be aware of nuances in meaning, and to be more cautious about taking action, and to more carefully consider options and possible outcomes.

3. Emotional awareness

We also tend to be more aware of our inner emotional states, which can make for richer and more profound creative work as writers, musicians, actors or other artists.

A greater response to pain, discomfort, and physical experience can mean sensitive people have the potential, at least, to take better care of their health.

4. Creativity

Psychologist Elaine Aron, author of The Highly Sensitive Person, estimates about twenty percent of people are highly sensitive, and seventy percent of those are introverted, which is a trait that can also encourage creativity.

As examples, there are many actors who say they are shy, and director Kathryn Bigelow, who recently won an Academy Award, has said, “I’m kind of very shy by nature.” The star of her movie The Hurt Locker, Jeremy Renner (who was reportedly shy as a child), has commented that “in social situations she can be painfully shy.”

5. Greater empathy

High sensitivity to other people’s emotions can be a powerful asset for teachers, managers, therapists and others.

Question: And, if you had to name five curses, what would they be? And how best do we overcome them or co-exist with them?

Douglas:

1. Easily overwhelmed, overstimulated

The biggest challenge in high sensitivity is probably being vulnerable to sensory or emotional overwhelm. Taking in and processing so much information from both inner and outer worlds can be “too much” at times and result in more pain, fatigue, stress, anxiety and other reactions.

An intriguing neuroscience research study I came across that may explain some of this said people with nervous systems having decreased latent inhibition are more open to incoming stimuli. Which can be a good thing, or not so good.

Actor Amy Brenneman once commented, “I’m too sensitive to watch most of the reality shows. It’s so painful for me.”

That kind of pain or discomfort can mean we don’t choose to experience some things that might actually be fun or enriching. Though I don’t mean reality shows.

2. Affected by emotions of others

Another aspect of sensitivity can be reacting to the emotions — and perhaps thoughts — of others. Being in the vicinity of angry people, for example, can be more distressing.

As actor Scarlett Johansson once put it, “Sometimes that awareness is good, and sometimes I wish I wasn’t so sensitive.”

3. Need lots of space and time to ourselves

We may need to “retreat” and emotionally “refresh” ourselves at times that are not always best for our goals or personal growth. For example, being at a professional development conference, it may not be the most helpful thing to leave a long presentation or workshop in order to recuperate from the emotional intensity of the crowd.

4. Unhealthy perfectionism

There can also be qualities of thinking or analyzing that lead to unhealthy perfectionism, or stressful responses to objects, people or situations that are “too much” or “wrong” for our sensitivities.

5. Living out of sync with our culture

Living in a culture that devalues sensitivity and introversion as much as the U.S. means there are many pressures to be “normal” — meaning extroverted, sociable and outgoing.

Dr. Ted Zeff, author of The Highly Sensitive Person’s Survival Guide, points out that other cultures, such as Thailand, have different attitudes, with a strong appreciation of sensitive or introverted people.

Jenna Avery, a “life coach for sensitive souls,” counsels people to accept or even pursue being “out of sync” with mainstream society, and be aware of other’s judgments of people as too sensitive, too emotional, or too dramatic.

And if we are sensitive, we may use those kinds of judgments against ourselves, and think, as Winona Ryder said she did at one time, “Maybe I’m too sensitive for this world.”

Certainly, there are extremes of emotions that are considered mood disorders, for example, and should be dealt with as a health challenge.

But “too emotional” or “too sensitive” are usually criticisms based on majority behavior and standards.

Overall, I think being highly sensitive is a trait we can embrace and use to be more creative and aware. But it demands taking care to live strategically, even outside popular values, to avoid overwhelm so we can better nurture our abilities and creative talents.

t

Therese J. When you build new skills, you are on the road to success, which takes you to the journey you longed to enjoy. Take time now to explore brain enhancement solutions to see what these programs, etc can do for you.

To improve your personal continued existence you have to consider concentrating on the bigger picture. We all must scrutinize all aspects of our mental and physical states to improve our life. Through visualization and affirmation, we can study the issues to find an easier way to move further on into the future. Creating checklist will help you through visualizing and affirming your future.

Our behaviors often hinder us from lucratively achieving our goals. That is, perhaps you are a couch potato. If so then you are not working in the direction of spiritual, mental, or physical development.

After you jot down your problems, you can visualize what behaviors of yours need attention. You can start to work in the direction of resolving your problems. Positive activities can enforce and affirm that you abandon negative habits and thinking. Rather you may act before you do something out of the ordinary by visualizing your self-acting in accord and affirming your consequence of your behaviors.

There is nothing wrong with admitting you have a problem, just as there is nothing wrong with admitting that you need help. If you use tobacco, you want to consider ways to stop smoking for example, which may involve you asking for support. You will need to develop self-discipline and set a goal to quite. If you associate with the wrong crowd, you will need to evaluate your self and the other people to clarify what you must do. It helps to use affirmation and visualization so that you can see somewhat into the future, thus analyzing the consequences.

Sometimes we must evaluate our problems while using fair judgment. You need to spend time discovering a maintenance plan that works for you. You should repetitively think out the problems in order to create a plan to find a resolution. Always visualize the bigger picture, keeping it in sight when you are working toward self-development. If the problem is too big for you to handle alone, ask for help. Talk with friends, family, or authorities.

Throughout the process of self-development, you want to work out a strategy to help you keep your stress under control. Exercise is one of the proven ways to relieve stress and maintain your balance. Visiting your family physician on a regular basis will help your keep an eye on your health status. Healthy people live a productive life.

What actions do you take to improve your expectancy?
As long as you think things out before you make a decision, you will work to purify your life. You will also call for to take steps to reduce stress, by avoiding harmful actions, such as smoking, drugs, and other harmful things that get in the way of self-development. You can benefit by visiting your doctor, exercise the mind and body regular and so on.

If you have problems quitting on your own, reach out and ask for help. You have many options, including inpatient services, outpatient services, club substratum, one-on-one services and more. To learn more about immediate services go online.

To improve your life you can also volunteer to help someone else out. You can wrap a gift this year for a homeless or deprived person for example. Whatever it takes to work through self-development successfully, do it, but use your visualization and affirmation each time.

The Science of Personal Achievement by Napoleon Hill Click Here

Discover how to make real money with Facebook - click here

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

How Long Does It Take? The reality is, the conditions for happiness are all right here, right now, but it’s not enough to say, “Just dip into the now and happiness will arise.”

There are too many conditioned forces at play from past experiences that compromise the ability for “the now” to be a source of happiness. But we can train our minds to relate to “the now” in a particular way and train our minds toward happiness.

The moment you step into the now and recognize that you have a choice in how you want to relate to your life, you have entered into a new state of clarity where opportunity, possibility and a greater sense of freedom open up. This is The Now Effect at play.

You have stepped aside from all the preconceptions and snap judgments that usually automatically influence your next move and reconnect with the intention to live as if it mattered.

The only time we have is now and so we choose to take each moment as an opportunity to train ourselves toward happiness and greater freedom. We can start to recognize the spaces of awareness that are all around us. It’s amazing how as we intentionally practice and repeat this these spaces begin to drop in on us like moments of grace throughout the day. This is when it gets fun.

There begins to become a familiarity with the fact that we don’t have to believe everything we think and we’re not the movies in our minds. We have the power and choice to prime our minds for good, toward greater kindness, compassion and forgiveness, rewiring the bias our brain has toward automatically fixating on the negative. In the difficult moments we recognize the snap judgments that exacerbate the pain and see that we can choose a different and healthier response. Perhaps most importantly we experience the delusion of disconnection and a greater connection with ourselves and others. This is the basis for happiness.

As we begin training in the Now Effect, a deeper layer begins to emerge where these states of mind that we actively cultivate or that pop in on us spontaneously begin to become more pervasive traits of our personalities.

If you’ve been a regular reader of my blogs, you know that groundbreaking science is pointing us to the fact that we have the ability to use our intentional attention to change the architecture of our brains in very adaptive ways. That may be the neuroscience behind this deeper, more pervasive layer of the Now Effect.

The Now Effect: How this Moment Can Change the Rest of Your Life with embedded videos for practice is available for pre-order now. There is no point of living with regret and always going back to past mistakes, the important thing in life is that you are able to take charge of your destiny and what would happen in your life. You may have heard that fate and destiny is up to the stars, but in reality, you can take action and make yourself the master of your fate and the captain of your soul. Remember, you only live once and you’d want to get it right.

To help you take charge of your destiny, here are some tips to help you. The first tip is to never let go of your dream. No matter how hard or impossible it is to achieve your dream, never stop trying even if people tell you otherwise. Some people have wonderful dreams and ideas that they couldn’t bring to reality even until their dying moment. Don’t let this happen to you as you still have all the time in the world to put your dream in actuality.

The next tip in taking charge of your destiny is always making a decision that you believe is right. In life, there are many decisions that a person will need to make and sometimes, it will be a battle between deciding with what you think is right and what you feel is right. And the moment you make a decision, stick by it and don’t regret a thing. Bear in mind that everything that will happen after your decision is a part of the process and you should be ready for it.

The third tip is to always strive for the best in your life. Do not settle with what you have but dream big so you can achieve big things. And when life knocks you down, make sure you always try to get up no matter how hard you fall. Life is not measured by how many problems we face, but its how we get up and rise up from every challenge that will come our way. With these tips, it will help you take charge of your life and your destiny. Realize that all your actions, good or bad, always have consequences.

There are more stories, tips and advices on how to be a master of your fate in . The website Universal Life Secrets have numerous articles that talks about psychic abilities, supernatural healing, sexual prowess and many more. Laborde

Right Brain Switch (Big Toe) Technique

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is the most elegant way to switch on the capabilities of the Right Brain. Why is it important to tap into the Right Brain? Because the Right Brain has all the "goodies"—peace, joy, creativity, bliss, self-healing, and much more.

Right Brain Left Brain

The Left Brain is full of fear and anxiety. There is no fear in the Right Brain. When you make the switch to the Right Brain, anxiety disappears. The more often the Right Brain is activated, the less fear there will be each time you switch back to the Left Brain.

You must be aware you are anxious before you can do anything about it. The Right Brain Switch (Big Toe) technique brings your attention into the present moment. It increases awareness of what is going on inside your body right now. Here’s how it’s done:

Imagine a time when you were feeling anxious and fearful. Really feel the experience—feel how your body was tense, neck stiff, and shoulders hunched.

Next, switch your attention to your big toe and sense what is going on there. Then switch your attention to your other big toe. Then move to your heel, the other heel, soul of foot, other foot, the ankle, other ankle, and so on throughout your body, including your calves, knees, thighs, torso, stomach, chest, arms, and fingers. Then turn your attention to your neck and then your head. Check out your whole body.

Take deep breaths as you do this process.

As you become aware of your entire body, feel all the fear drain out.

In the beginning, take up to 90 seconds to do this process. With practice, you can enter this present moment state in a few seconds.

Peak Performance State

You can achieve a peak performance state at any time. When giving a presentation, meeting your future in-laws, or engaging in some activity that causes anxiety, use these simple steps:

Use the Big Toe technique to access the Right Brain and gain present moment awareness.

Then focus on a memory of a moment in your past when you achieved success, a specific incident in time where you felt powerful. This Left Brain action helps to balance your brain. Your eyes may be open or closed. Then let go of the memory for a moment.

Imagine a circle on the floor in front of you. Give the circle a color.

Next, bring your memory of success into the moment as you step into the circle. As you do, intensify the memory with images, sounds, and feelings (see/hear/feel). Let them sweep through your entire body, putting yourself into an optimum state. Take 10 seconds, a minute, or however long is needed.

Step out of the circle. Take another deep breath. Think of a word or phrase associated with your successful memory. This is your trigger.

Step back into the circle, saying the trigger to amplify your memory (see/hear/feel). This is your state of excellence anytime it’s needed.

Step out of the imaginary circle (if you like, fold the circle and place it in your pocket).

You are now ready to take action in your peak performance state. Using your trigger word or phrase, you can enter this state at any time.

Importance of Breath

Anxiety curtails proper breathing, and the brain does not work well without oxygen. The first thing to do when becoming aware you are anxious is to take a deep breath.

Breathing allows you to intensify the feelings within, which will help you get past anxiety.

Switching Marquees Technique

The Switching Marquees technique, also called Anchoring, can be used to interrupt a pattern in the brain that is causing you a problem. This pattern of negative thoughts could be associated with a difficult personal relationship, a challenging work situation, or something as serious as suicide.

This technique works best when enlisting the help of a trusted friend.

Example: Spending time with your mother-in-law causes you anxiety and stress, and you want to change that.

Allow all your feelings to come up as you think of your mother-in-law. As you do, have your friend touch the back of the wrist of one hand, creating a "button."

Next, think of three different things that please you, such as your spouse, strawberries, and baseball. As you experience the feelings of each, have your friend touch a different place (button) on your opposite hand or arm.

Now have your friend again touch (one at a time) both the negative button and each of the three positive buttons to ensure they are connected to the memories in your brain. If these buttons do not evoke the correct association, set them up once more. If the positive buttons do not cause good feelings, select other things you appreciate.

Next, close your eyes. As you think of your mother-in-law, have your friend touch all four buttons at one time. Experience your new positive feelings.

Goals and Outcomes

Outcomes are goals, but they are much more specific. When setting goals, be sure your desired outcome is established in sensory-based terms and satisfies a deep need. Imagine what you will see, hear, and feel when you attain it.

If the feeling is one you like, than that is your outcome. Is it worth going for, spending the time and trouble to get? This outcome will guide your action steps.

Obsessions

The dictionary defines obsession as:the state of being beset or actuated by the devil or an evil spirit; also, compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or unwanted feeling or emotion, often with symptoms of anxiety.

To fix obsessions:

Set an outcome

Awareness

Right Brain access

90 seconds or less

Take a new action

Repeat as often as necessary.

Example: Quitting smoking cigarettes.

Set an outcome. Decide to quit smoking for you, not to please another.

Become aware of the trigger that sets off your smoking; for instance, every time you get into your car.

Immediately go into your Right Brain using the Big Toe technique. This interrupts the pattern of the obsessive behavior.

Stay in the Right Brain for 90 seconds, making sure all the anxiety drains out. (Often the obsession is in response to a fear. Most people light up when feeling anxious or in a tense situation.)

Then immediately take a new action. This works best if it is something you enjoy—turn on your favorite song in the car, take a walk, or call a friend.

Repeat the steps as often as necessary until the obsession is stopped for good.

The ABCs of NLP

A is for Awareness, the key to your wellness.

B is for your Magic Brain, treasures opened, no pain.

C is for See, Hear, Feel. Your senses trigger brain cells.

D is for Danger, Left Brain felt. Right Brain shift, fear will melt.

E is for Energy Blocks, such as Anxiety Locks.

F is for Frozen Fear. Marquee Switching will clear.

G is for Glory Be. For Change Work, it’s NLP.

H is for Mental Health, once available, tops wealth.

I am the one who chooses to be a winner or a loser.

J is for Joining synapses sublime; these carry emotions, so you’ll be just fine.

K stands for Kiss goodbye to those feelings that make us cry.

L is for Love, synaptically wove, inside your own Right Brain.

M is for Masterfully here, right above your right ear.

N of course is for Now, the time that evokes the Wow.

O is for "Often" the Right Brain tap to send.

P is for Peak Performance; an ego-affirming stance.

Q is for your life’s Quest, whose pull you cannot resist.

R is for the stout Resistance from friends; you’ll find even more from kins.

S is for Success: to Change, you say "Yes!"

T is for the Time it takes for skills to integrate.

U is for Universality. These work. Do you agree?

V is for Victory. Obsessions are the pits.

W is for Whatever happens. You know enough to mend.

X out the anxiety habits, yet at the same time, keep all your wits.

Y You with NLP can face the world with glee.

Z is for you to rhyme as you NLP through time.

Dr. Genie Z. Practice meditation in a quiet place.

While you cannot completely shut yourself out of the
distractions around you, it would help a lot if you can
meditate in a quiet area, or at least a place which cuts
down outside noise considerably.

2. Choose a room with comfortable temperature.

Whether the room’s too cold or too hot, both can destroy
your mood for meditation. It would therefore help to find a
room with a temperature control so you can adjust it to a
temperature where you’re most comfortable.

3. Wear comfortable clothes.

Again, the bane of people practicing meditation is
distraction. You should therefore wear comfortable clothes
as they would help you be more at ease and relaxed.

4. Find a guru.

Sometimes, it can be frustrating to practice meditation
without the proper guidance. A guru can guide you and will
help a lot in giving you the most out of meditation.

5. Read books on meditation.

Whether you have a guru or not, it would help to have
reference materials which can help broaden your
appreciation for this activity. Books do not only give you
information but also insights on how to meditate better.

Free Meditation E-Course Reveals The Secrets Of Your Health And Happiness. It is something that we cannot stop. However we are going to need to figure out a way to take on challenges and use the things that we learn from others to deal with failure. There are ways to get over relationships that fail and to move on past the hard times that we all deal with.

Dealing with a failed relationship can be something very stressful if we let it. There are ways to make sure that we are positive about what we are doing and how well we handle things. Getting along with others is always an important part of behavior. There are ways that we can work at this type of effort and be the better person when it comes to making things work in a relationship.

When you find that you are having a hard time dealing with a certain relationship you should think about the things that you need to change. What is not working for you? Are you both the problem or is there one thing that is making it hard to concentrate on fixing the problem. Dealing with failure can be a difficult part of life. It is not easy to realize that you are not perfect and that you have made mistakes.

The one thing that we can be sure of is that we can learn from the mistakes in relationships that we have made. This is a good lesson to learn and something that we can use in other ways. When we find out that we are not doing something the way that we should and using our best judgments for certain things we will want to try and figure out a plan to take.

Take things in stride. Do not get upset and worried about every little thing. We have to be sincere and think of ideas to use in many certain circumstances. There is always advice that we can take to help us with the problems that we may face in a relationship. Making choices is not always something that is so easy. We have to learn from the mistakes that we make and try and come up with other ideas to make things easier and better.

It is also important to not dwell on something that has gone wrong in a relationship. If we have failed at something with someone then we must move on. There is no reason to use this one example as an excuse to be afraid to try it again with someone else. There are different approaches to different people and if we think about what the best way is then we will be better able to make things right with our relationships.

Free Traffic Tips

Put it this way, failure is going to happen no matter what. There are going to be times when you just want to throw in the towel and move on. However the one thing that is most important to know is that we have to work hard and not be afraid to move on. When we fail at one thing move onto another. There are so many things waiting for us out there and if we try and make them happen then we will be better able to achieve our goals and be the person that we most want to be.

Never be afraid to take on a challenge in a relationship. If you think that it is worth fixing then you need to work at it. Putting the effort and the hard work at it will help to overcome failure in any type of relationship.

Get a wireless phone starting at just $9.99 at TracFone.com

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

Meditation and Pain

Anyone who has heard of the expression about the power of
mind over matter will easily understand the benefit of
meditation on people suffering from different forms of
physical pain. This article will deal with several methods by which
meditation can help in alleviating a person’s condition.

Concentration techniques in meditation can help in easing a
person’s suffering by keeping his/her mind away from the
source of the pain. Usually, the pain is magnified because
people choose to focus on it.

If their attention is trained somewhere else, the pain
becomes more manageable.

Another method is called mindfulness meditation. This
involves being aware of one’s present condition and
accepting it as such. If a person accepts that he/she is
currently in pain, dealing with it would be much easier.

Healthy? Happy? Relaxed? Matt Clarkson has created a no cost mini course teaching simple meditation exercises for busy people. Each part gives you an exercise, inspirational message or tip to help you calm the mind and reduce stress. If your health is important to you, click here

Then there’s visualization. It could be considered as a
form of self-hypnosis. It is done by creating an image of
the pain and imagining it moving away from the body.

As suggested by these methods, they do not actually take
away pain from the person. Rather, they make dealing with
the pain much easier.

This is also the reason why methods like those mentioned
should be coupled with the proper medical advice. In fact,
consulting one’s doctor is advised before even trying the
meditation exercises out.

Otherwise, there will be a risk of overlooking more serious
conditions that could be causing the pain. Along with the
proper medical advice, meditation can help improve a
person’s tolerance for pain.

Free Meditation E-Course Reveals The Secrets Of Your Health And Happiness. Deal With It!

Considering that we are living in a fast-paced world, stress is as common as the air we breathe. We have to learn to manage our everyday routines and fight off these problems that will eventually stress us out. But before we can cope with it, we have to understand what stress really is and identify how it can appear in our life.

What in the world is stress?

Stress can be easily defined as the imbalance in our physiological, biological and social aspect in our life. There are many reasons why a person gets stressed – either family problems, financial difficulties, career obligations, or quarrel between friends. Though how minor it may seems, these problems all add up to turn into an inconvenience, and a big one at that.

Incidentally, stress can start from anywhere and can also end in yet another way. Some may start from your body due to overwork or, build up mentally which can affect that way you think which can lead to negative results. The first way to deal with stress is find out the cause and determine ways to get rid of it.

Stress Management 101

When you already have an idea on how stress worked your way into your life, there are plenty of solutions to make it go away. Just keep in mind that the simplest solutions to your problems are always the best way in dealing with it.

When suffering from stress due to overwork then you can easily take some time off and let your body rejuvenate. Treat yourself to a massage, or visit your local spa and start pampering yourself. Another method in getting the stress out of your system is to take some time off from your daily routine and take a vacation. Visit friends and relative and have fun shopping or taking some leisure walks around the mall.

A vacation with nature can be a great relief to stress; the serenity and relaxing scenery can do wonders to your mental and emotional state. Camp out and leave your thoughts about work at home, give yourself a break from all those burdens.

Get in touch with your inner child (I know this sounds corny, try it anyway)

Indulging yourself with games and sports is a great way to dispel stress from your system. When indulging in sports, you have to concentrate on what you are doing in order to win. This is a great way to divert your mind from your mental burdens and concentrate on the task at hand.

If you don’t plan to go for sports then go for games. Visit your local game shop and buy some game CDs to your liking, install it on your computer and annihilate alien invaders as if it were your stress. If you have some financial troubles and can’t spare an extra buck on games CDs, then you can browse around the Internet and play Flash games if you wish.

Traditional Stress Reliever

The ancients practices do provide solutions to your stress problems. You can enroll for yoga classes and stretch those problems away, or go for meditation classes that will train you in freeing your mind from the problems at hand, and allowing you to focus on relaxation and peace of mind.

Other methods to help you relax and keep your mind at peace is through aromatherapy. Inquire around shops for various scents that can help you relax. You can go for scented candles or assorted incense that will help you in your stress management.

Get a wireless phone starting at just $9.99 at TracFone.com

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

Home Remedies for Anxiety – Freeing Yourself of the Stress

If you are suddenly finding yourself nervous, scared, really worried and have no clue why you are feeling this way you could discover that you are part of a growing trend of people suffering from anxiety. This is not something to be ashamed of, nor is it something that demands a large amount of medication to treat. Of course, there are some people who can only find relief from anxiety in prescription drugs, but many others find some more natural solutions in home remedies that are extremely effective. Working to find the best solution for you can be a rather trying experience, but there are plenty of great home remedies for anxiety that can prove to be extremely effective

End Anxiety and Panic Attacks For Good

It is largely reported by people suffering from anxiety that they feel much more anxious after they have consumed large amounts of alcohol. This points to cutting back the intake of alcohol as one of the most effective treatments that you can do to reduce your anxiety level. If we must be brutally honest though, this will have a limited effect. After all, if you are only a slight social drinker there will be very little you can do to reduce your intake further. This means this particular method is much more suited for those who tend to drink at least a few drinks a week.

Other suggestions include getting as much sleep as possible to ensure you are well rested. A lack of sleep has been attributed to increasing the occurrence of anxiety attacks. In addition to the additional rest as needed taking some additional B vitamins such as can be found in most vitamin supplements has also shown great promise to help relieve symptoms. An additional benefit to the vitamins is the ability to allow you to pick up any additional nutrients that you might be missing out on due to your typical dietary habits.

Many people have had great amounts of success by limiting their intakes of sweetener’s as well. This includes natural sugar, as well as the artificial sweeteners. In order to really obtain the biggest benefit you should try to watch your reactions to certain sweeteners. There are some that can make the problems worse for you, while others may not bother you in particular. If there is a sweetener that you can safely use, it is important to stay with it, while avoiding the others that tend to aggravate your anxiety.

Panic Away -end Anxiety And Panic Attacks

Due to the increase in nervousness, it is also recommended that you avoid any products that are extremely high in caffeine. Because caffeine is extremely likely to spike anxiety many people who are anxious tend to suffer much more than necessary. Reducing caffeine intake can often provide some rather rapid differences that might otherwise never come. If you are in a habit of drinking coffee each morning, you can simply switch to decaffeinated in order to reduce your caffeine intake while still enjoying your morning cup of coffee.

Another suggested home remedy that has provided great benefits is getting up and starting to walk around or exercise whenever you feel extremely anxious. By getting up and moving around you are taking your mind off of the anxiety that you are feeling and allowing yourself to slowly clam down at your own pace. This is extremely effective for most people since it will allow you to refocus your attention to the activity that you are doing, rather than on the actual anxiety that you are presently feeling.

The Linden Method - Worlds #1 Anxiety & Panic Attacks Program

By avoiding the use of medication to treat anxiety you are sure to feel much better about yourself. Additionally you will be able to avoid many of the harsh side effects that are otherwise experienced in the treatment. It may take a while to find the perfect solution for your needs depending on exactly what factors are encouraging the stress, but a solution really is possible with the right effort.

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

8 Tips to Ensure Life Success

Personal goal setting is one of the best things you can do if you truly desire to be successful in life. Sadly, only a small percentage of people actually make goals for themselves regularly. But those are the most successful people you will meet!

Following are eight tips to help you use personal goal setting to achieve those things that are truly important to you.

1. Put your goals in writing - this will solidify them and make them very real. It also is the first step, and taking action is a key factor in reaching your goals. Writing them down also makes them more real. Unwritten goals with no game plan are really nothing more than wishes. And wishes don't get you very far - but written goals will!

2. Prioritize them - When it comes to personal goal setting, it is essential that you prioritize your goals. Decide which ones are the most crucial for you to achieve. Those are the ones on which you want to devote the most energy. Those that end up at the bottom of your list may not be truly important to you, and they can be addressed at a later date in time if needed.

3. Write your goals down as positive statements. For example, rather than "lose 20 pounds" or "stop overeating", you might write "reach the healthy weight of ____ pounds" or "eat only until I'm satisfied".

4. Make your goals very clear and specific. With personal goal setting, if your goals are vague, you won't likely succeed because you're not really aiming at anything specific. An "iffy" goal is like throwing darts blind-folded (which I don't recommend!). You might, by chance, hit the dart board but it is highly unlikely. Vague goals would be things such as "lose weight" or "make more money".

Make them more specific; for example "make $10,000 per month". That way you can measure process and you will know exactly when you have reached your goal. (After all, "make more money" could mean that you're earning $5 more per month - which probably isn't what you are striving for - right?)

5. Create specific timelines for reaching each of your goals. Not having a clear time frame in mind is very similar to having vague goals - you may never reach it because you take forever getting there. Creating a timeline gives you a sense of urgency, and will help spur motivation. Urgency and motivation are two important factors in personal goal setting.

6. Make sure your goals (and timelines) are realistic. For example, if you weight 250 pounds and your goal is to reach 150 pounds, you probably want to give yourself more than a month or two to reach your goal! Unrealistic goals and timelines are a quick path to failure when it comes to personal goal setting.

A note of caution here: there's a delicate balance between being realistic and keeping your dreams alive. No one believed the 4 minute mile barrier could be broken - until Roger Bannister showed everyone that it could. And soon after his victory several people began running the mile in less than 4 minutes - most likely because now they believed it was possible.

So, go ahead and dream big - dreams are what make us feel alive and can fuel us with the motivation to achieve what may have seemed impossible (or what others tell us is impossible).

7. Break big goals down into multiple smaller, more doable goals. It's easy to become overwhelmed by a really big goal. It may seem absolutely impossible - until your break it down into small steps. This is very important when it comes to personal goal setting!

For instance, if you're just starting college and your goal is to become a surgeon, you may quickly become discouraged at the very long road ahead. However, if you break it down into sub goals (and then sub goals for those sub goals), the task won't seem so daunting and you will be more likely to succeed.

8. Reward yourself when you achieve a goal (or sub goal). It is important that you acknowledge and reward your successes along the way, as success breeds more success. Treat yourself to something nice. It doesn't have to be something big or expensive. But it is important that you celebrate each success along the way. You will be more likely to remain motivated and it will make the process a lot more fun!

If you are looking for more information on ways to achieve personal goals and live a more successful and fulfilling life, check out Amazing Self:

http://www.amazingself.com

-----------------------------

This article is brought to you courtesy of Amazing Self, a personal development system that offers powerful personal breakthroughs in creating and living your dream life.

Amazing Self isn't one person's opinion of what truly signifies greatness. If we were to comprehend our inner voices then we would better be able to deal with our inner ghosts. The way that we perceive ourselves has a large role to play in the equation. All our past successes and failures are related to our perception of self and if we are walking around life not whole then we are already at a disadvantage. We have to, in order to heal, start looking within and heal our inner self-first before we are able to move forward in life. The healing of the inner self is a keystone aspect of self-development and progress.

We all are not born with an external perception of ourselves. As we develop and grow, we are shaped by the experiences that we face in life. We are developed into personalities and internal perceptions by the environment we live in and the experiences that we face. This is where our outlook on life is also developed and this leads to the conceptualization of the self that we know. This inner self will not be perfect. We all have much that we can do to heal the inner being in us all and create a better self-concept so that we are able to move forward in life. We can heal the inner being in us all and move away from the instinctive behaviors that we project only if we are willing to communicate with our inner selves.

We are all social products that are based on the life we live and we develop from the social environment perceptions of ourselves that can put us down and lower our self-esteem. We can look in the mirror, see only negative thing, and think only negative thoughts. This is not the way to look at one’s self and the need for inner self-healing is critical to moving beyond this stage and perceiving yourself as someone worthy of your own affection. If you do not like or love yourself how can it be expected that others will do so. We are often predisposed to look at ourselves as lesser persons and this is not how we will grow and move forward in life. Our true potential, though we may not know it, is linked directly to our perception of ourselves. If we have a bad perception of self, it is likely that we will never develop our true potential.

In the process of healing the inner self, we all have to look inwards and face all the different facets of our lives. We have to look at ourselves from all the different aspects and angles and achieve a balanced, positive outlook of self at the end of the equation. We have to dig deep and locate the inner strength to face our demons and ourselves head on and to move past them. The blocks that we throw up in life and in our minds are the things that will hinder our overall progress.

For progress in life, we have to develop and grow and heal our inner selves. Only then can we achieve all that we desire in life. We cannot continue to put ourselves down and think that we are not good enough. We have to focus our inner self to the achievement of higher goals and progress along a path where we are whole on the inside and able to face the obstacles of the outside world. If we are not strong within we will give up at the first sign of trouble. Success in life and in relationships is based on being good on the inside and this means that we have to heal our inner beings to achieve this goal.

Unlock the Potential of Your Mind

The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us
