How to setup @live.com, @live.com.au, Live or Hotmail Email Addresses on iPhones

On your iPhone, do the following:

Settings >

Mail, Contacts, Calendars >

Add Account… >

Other >

Under Mail, choose Add Mail Account >

In New Account, enter the following:

Name Your Name

Address Your Email Address eg myemail@live.com.au or myemail@live.com.au

Password Your Password (NOTE: This is your email password, make sure it is approximately 8 or less characters! I tried this with a much larger password and the sign up kept failing. I have not tried any higher than 8 characters, if you get this working with higher let me know).

Description Live Email Account

Now press Save >

Under New Account, choose POP >

Incoming Mail Server:

Host Name pop3.live.com

Username Your Email Address, eg myemail@live.com or myemail@live.com.au

Password Your Password (NOTE: Make sure your password is approximately 8 or less characters!)

Outgoing Mail Server:

Host Name smtp.live.com

Username Your Email Address, eg myemail@live.com or myemail@live.com.au

Password Your Password (NOTE: Make sure your password is approximately 8 or less characters!)

Now tap Save.

After it has Verified POP account information, you can change the advanced settings by selecting the account that was added and scrolling to the bottom of the screen.

How to install Cracked Applications on your jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch.

Method 1: Using Installous:
1. Click on “Manage” on the bottom of the Cydia screen.
2. Select “Sources” from the Cydia screen.
3. Select “Edit” on the top right of the screen. (You should be on a list of sources).
4. Select “Add” from the top left of the screen.
5. Enter the following when prompted: http://cydia.hackulo.us/
6. Press “Add Source“. Cydia will warn you about copyright information, just tap ok.

The hackulo.us repository is very crowded and they lack donations so it is down often. You can try the new brotherhood project repository http://cydia.install0.us/ - That is ZERO not O.

7. Once the source has been added, go to “Search” on the bottom of the Cydia window, or look in the hackulo.us repository.
8. Type in “Installous” and continue.
9. Install “Installous” on your iPhone from Cydia.
10. Go back to “Search” on the bottom of the Cydia window.
11. Type in “AppSync” and continue.
12. Install “AppSync 3.0 or 3.1“. (Dependant on your version of Firmware, either 3.0.x or 3.1.x)
13. You will need to likely respring your phone, so when Cydia prompts you to, just continue until you’re back to your iPhone home screen.
14. Find “Installous“, and load the application.
15. Locate the Application you want from the Installous Browser (which browses Appulo.us).

Method 2: iTunes method or .ipa method:
1. First you need to make sure that you have patched your MobileInstallation file on your device. If you don’t patch it, you won’t be able to install cracked apps.
2. Click on “Manage” on the bottom of the Cydia screen.
3. Select “Sources” from the Cydia screen.
4. Select “Edit” on the top right of the screen. (You should be on a list of sources).
5. Select “Add” from the top left of the screen.
6. Enter the following when prompted: http://cydia.hackulo.us/
7. Press “Add Source“.
8. Once the source has been added, go to “Search” on the bottom of the Cydia window.
9. Type in “AppSync” and continue.
10. Install “AppSync 3.0 or 3.1“. (Dependant on your version of Firmware, either 3.0.x or 3.1.x)
11. Reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch – Cracked apps will now work properly.
12. Double click on the .ipa file and sync your device with iTunes. (By double clicking the .ipa file, you will open the file with iTunes. The file will be automatically copied into the iTunes library. Once iTunes has loaded and the file has been opened, press sync and the installation will begin.)

Note: AppSync is for firmware 3.0 & 3.1, not 1.x or 2.x, & no need to use SSH and WinSCP with MobileInstaller.framework if you install AppSync – See Method 3 below.

Method 3: The SSH method or direct method:
1. Download cracked application via http://www.appulo.us or torrent websites.
2. Unzip the cracked application folder to your desktop.
3. SSH into iphone using WinSCP:

First make sure you have OpenSSH & OPENSSL installed from Rock, Icy or Cydia.

Next get WinSCP and find your iPhone’s ip by going to (on your iphone):

Settings > Wi-Fi > “Your selected WiFi” > Look under IP Address

Connect to your iPhone using WinSCP:

· User name: root

· Password: alpine (Unless you have previously changed your password to something more secure – see my post here on how to do that, or just install OpenSSH with Cydia, Rock or Icy, and a prompt will appear after asking if you would like to change your password)

· Change File Protocol to “SCP”.

Just press Login after your screen on WinSCP.

You will now see a popup asking to save your Server Key. Do it. (I also made a copy of this for backup purposes.)

If you are having trouble with log in please read this: Make sure OPENSSH & OPENSSL is definitely installed on your iphone – I could only get Winscp to work once, then it fails to log in every time after this, a reinstall of both WINSCP and OpenSSH & OpenSSL will fix it temporarily for one time again. I’m still working on this.

4. Once logged into WinSCP, navigate to /Applications.
5. Drag the cracked application (.app – Note 1) folder over to the /Applications folder and drop it in there.
6. Right click on the cracked application folder and change permissions to 0755 and select the box beside “set owner group and permissions recursively” (or go inside the folder, select everything, and set properties to 0755 as well), then hit ok.
7. In the /Applications folder, make a new folder called “Documents”, with a capital D. Change the permissions on the “Documents” folder you just created to 0777.
8. Navigate to /var/mobile/ and make a new folder called “Documents”, with a capital D. Change the permissions on the “Documents” folder you just created to 0777.
9. Reboot your device.

Notes:
1. If you have a .ipa file instead, change this extension to .zip, unzip the file and inside the payload folder you will see the .app folder that you can use to drop into your /Applications folder. If you cannot see the .ipa extension on your computer you will need to go into “Control Panel > Folder Options > View Tab > Untick “Hide extensions for known folder types”.

2. Some applications require you set permission to 0775. It seems to be random, so if 0755 doesn’t work, try 0775.

3. It appears you can add more than 1 Application to the device at a time before rebooting also.

Jailbreak info for iPhone 3.1.3 using PwnageTool 3.15 for MAC OS X only.

From the DevTeam today (08/02/10):
On Tuesday, Apple released firmware 3.1.3 for the iPhone and iPod touches. Unless you’ve personally observed a problem with the reporting of your battery percentage, there’s no reason to update to 3.1.3. We know some of you will want to anyway. Superbowl Sunday’s PwnageTool 3.1.5 for Mac OS X will let you do so safely, preserving your jailbreak and ultrasn0w unlock. (If you use the blacksn0w unlock (at baseband 05.11.07), you need to stay at 3.1.2.)

iPhone 3G and 3GS unlockers should always be very wary to update their firmware. This is no exception. If you make a mistake along the way you may find yourself updating to official 3.1.3 in which case you will lose your unlock, possibly forever.

iPhone 3GS users (regardless of unlock) should stay away from this and all 3.1.3 jailbreak tools unless you know you have your “SHSH hashes” backed up via Cydia. That’s because if you make a mistake you may find yourself stuck at official 3.1.3 with no way to jailbreak or come back down to 3.1.2 to jailbreak.

If you really truly feel that you need to update, this version creates a custom 3.1.3 IPSW for you to restore to on your iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS with early bootrom, iPod touch 1G, and iPod touch 2G with early bootrom. If you don’t know if you have an early bootrom or not, please avoid updating until you learn more.

You don’t need to be pre-jailbroken on anything but the iPod touch 2G early bootrom. And really for that device, it’s faster and easier to use redsn0w 0.9.4 as mentioned in our last post. For that matter, if you have an ipt1g, iphone2g, or iphone3g (and don’t need an unlock), you should use redsn0w too (but version 0.9.3). It’s faster and you won’t have to go through a full restore process (just do an update then run redsn0w, pointing it at 3.1.2 FW instead of 3.1.3).

If you have an iPhone 3GS, PwnageTool works if you’re currently at version 3.1.2 or below (down to 3.0). You don’t need to be already jailbroken — PwnageTool will ask you if you’re jailbroken after you’ve created the IPSW. Don’t use PwnageTool on the iPhone 3GS if you’re at 3.1.3, it just won’t work. Downgrade to 3.1.2 using the methods described here. If you can’t downgrade because you don’t have your 3GS 3.1.2 hashes on file with Cydia, you’ll need to sit out the 3.1.3 jailbreak.

We aren’t revealing any new exploits to Apple with this jailbreak. Everything here has been used before, it’s just a straightforward port of Pwnage2 and 24Kpwn to the new firmware. It’s possible the new firmware was released largely to flush out new exploits before the next big release. We won’t be biting.

We’d really like the above warnings and disclaimers to sink in. Please don’t download the files below and use them blindly.

R18+ Classification for Computer Games in Australia – Make a Vote

Comments (Optional - up to 250 words)

If a minor wants to play something now that is unsuitable they are able to quite easily. Most technologically savvy minors can easily download a cracked game illegally on the internet.

Making an 18+ rating will not change that fact, however it will make it easier for over 18’s to purchase games legally instead of those people downloading and using illegal games from the internet.

It has always been and always should be the parents’ job to police or control the content that their children watch or play. An 18+ rating should make it loud and clear that their child should not purchase or be playing these games.

Mentally unstable or unfit persons over 18 can also download illegal games that are banned from the internet at the moment anyway. That is a completely different issue that should be dealt with through the mental health system – i.e. More funding from the government perhaps.

iPhone update Firmware 3.1.3 JAILBREAKERS DO NOT UPGRADE!

Do not upgrade to Firmware version 3.1.3 yet – There is no access to Rock, Cydia or Icy.

This warning applies to owners of

3GS
iPod Touch 3
iPod touch 2 with serial *MC*
Any 3G unlockers

iPhone OS 3.1.3 is now out from Apple. Suuposedly it fixes some battery issues. There are no new features. The release only stops jailbreaks.

Currently there is no jailbreak for this firmware. Unofficial sources have confirmed that they have patched up the method used to jailbreak 3.1.2 so you will not be able to jailbreak. If you update you will lose all your jailbreak apps and will not be able to get them back. In other words, updating means you lose a lot of stuff in return for almost nothing back. In addition, there is no ETA on a jailbreak for 3.1.3.

Unlockers – You cannot unlock the new baseband. This would apply to those 3G users that can jailbreak 3G. If you update, you will not be able to unlock.

One more thing, as of right now, Apple is still signing 3.1.2 for 3GS users but no one knows for how much longer they will be. Make sure you “Rush” into Cydia or Rock and get your keys signed on the front page if you have not. This will make certain you can always restore 3.1.2 even in the future using Saurik’s server.

To summarise:
- Update adds NO NEW FEATURES, do not update.

- Update kills your jailbreak. Do not update.

- Get your 3GS 3.1.2 keys signed by Cydia/Rock now if you haven’t.

- Unlock does not work on the new baseband.

Update from Geohot - I hear rumors going around that the 3.1.3 jailbreak is hard. It isn't. But the only people it helps are those dumb enough to upgrade. Sorry.

DevTeam Update:

Update 1: [Don’t go near this if you have 3GS, newer ipt2G, or any ipt3G] Thanks to daring experimenters in the DevTeam comments, we can confirm that yesterday’s redsn0w works for today’s 3.1.3 update for iPhone 2G. Just point it at the 3.1.2 iPhone 2G IPSW after doing update or restore to 3.1.3. So far we’ve only confirmed this for iPhone 2G. (Note that if this does work for iPhone 3G too, you can *only* use it if you don’t care about the unlock.)

Update 2: [Don’t go near this if you have 3GS, newer ipt2G, or any ipt3G] Can confirm that this method works for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 1G too. Don’t do it for iPhone 3G if you need an unlock though (really, don’t!). For older iPod touch 2G, we’ll need a small (1-character) change in redsn0w source.

Update 3: [Don’t go near this if you have 3GS, newer ipt2G, or any ipt3G] For those with older (non-MC) iPod touch 2G, we’ve compiled a special version of redsn0w meant just for you: Mac and Windows. You guys can get in on the “3.1.2 loophole” too using this special version. Don’t try this if you have a newer iPod Touch 2G or if you’re not completely sure what version you have. And of course don’t try it for 3GS or ipt3G either.

That about does it for the 3.1.2 redsn0w loophole. Ultrasn0w/yellowsn0w/blacksn0w users shouldn’t go near it. Otherwise, it can be used by owners of iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G (not unlockers!), iPod 1G, and iPod 2G older version. Everyone else please wait for official support in the tools.

I’ve been using the following websites to make some money on my blog:

Adsense.com:

The tried and true Google Adsense ads, which are easy to add into your blog using the blogger.com website, however it seems to be the slowest money maker.

Linkbucks.com:

For about 150 hits you get about 2 cents, this is easy to make just by converting some of the links on your site with Linkbucks. You have a choice between making the ads just a popup at the top of the opening page or an entire page ad. The entire page ad will earn you a higher percentage per click, but will probably frustrate people so only use this sparingly.

Play-Asia.com:

This website is great for purchasing cheap region free console games for all around the world. They have an affiliate program of about 12% commission. I am making about 2 cents a sale, which looks like i’m only selling items worth 24 cents! (This seems really low – considering what they are advertising) I figure once I am on selling many more games the amount will go up. I will keep tabs on this and report back.

If you're using a wired network with a gigabit Ethernet switch:

If you're using a gigabit Ethernet switch device in your home network configuration and you're experiencing low video quality or choppy playback, try changing the flow control setting for your network adapter (also known as a network interface card (NIC)).

To enable flow control for your network adapter:
1. On your computer, click the Start button , click Control Panel, type view network connections in the search box, and then click View network connections.

2. Right-click your network connection, and then click Properties.

3. On the Networking tab, click Configure.

4. Click the Advanced tab, and in the list under Property, click Flow Control.

5. Under Value, choose an option to enable flow control (choose the Rx & Tx Enabled option if it's available), and then click OK.

NB: If enabling flow control doesn't help, you can also try changing the link speed for your network adapter (also known as a network interface card (NIC)).

To change the link speed for your network adapter:
1. On your computer, click the Start button , click Control Panel, type view network connections in the search box, and then click View network connections.

2. Right-click your network connection, and then click Properties.

3. On the Networking tab, click Configure.

4. Click the Advanced tab, and in the list under Property, click Link Speed & Duplex.

5. Under Value, choose the 100 Mbps Full Duplex option, and then click OK.

How to change how long your iPhone rings before calls go to voicemail.

NB: You can choose between 5 and 30 seconds in increments of 5 (5, 10, 15, etc.)

1. First, you’ll need to know your voicemail access number. The easiest way to get this is to dial *#61# and then press Call on your iPhone’s keypad.

The first block of text you’ll see on the screen that comes up will be:

Eg: iPhone, carrier = Optus.

Where +XXXXXXXXXXX is shown as an actual number - write this number down because you’ll need it in the next steps. You can ignore the rest of the text that is shown for the purposes of this exercise.

2. To change how long your iPhone rings, dial *61*+XXXXXXXXXXX*11*tt# where +XXXXXXXXXXX is the number you wrote down from the first step above and tt is the length of time in seconds for which you want your iPhone to ring. To get the + sign to show up, hold down the 0 key for a couple of seconds and release it when it turns into the + sign in the readout above. Then press Call.

Eg. iPhone, carrier = Optus

To give you an example, I dialled *61*+61411000321*11*30# then pressed Call to change my iPhone ring to last 30 seconds. After this, assuming you’ve entered everything correctly, you’ll see the following message:

I recently placed an advertisement to sell my Nissan 350Z on Australia’s No.1 car sales website (http://www.carsales.com.au/). After a week or so, Nathanial Dodge from a company called Vehicle Mania (http://www.vehiclemania.com.au) called me offering extra advertising for $100 AUD on their new website. I was a little unsure, and so after a promise that if after 3 months (* which I have in writing on an email) that if my car is not sold and I wished to pull the ad from their website I would get my money back, so I agreed to go with it.

The website is not their primary vehicle of car sales, they primarily use the Trading Post for advertising. I was not able to sell my car using their website however, but I was able to get in contact with Steve who is the Manager and I was able to get my money back. He also gave me a free advertisement in the Trading Post as a sign of good faith. Overall I am very happy with this company.

How to Activate and Enable Free Internet Tethering on iPhone 3.0+

Run Safari mobile web browser on the iPhone.
Visit the following Mobileconfigs website: http://help.benm.at/tethering.php or http://www.iphone-notes.de/mobileconfig/
Select your country.
Select your mobile service provider.
Tap Install to install new profile.
Select Install Now to download and install new profile.
On iPhone interface, go to Settings -> General -> Network -> Internet Tethering.
Set Internet Tethering to On.
If prompted that Bluetooth is off, select Turn on Bluetooth or USB Only according to your preference.
Internet tethering is enabled, connect iPhone to PC computer via USB or Bluetooth to start connecting to Internet though iPhone as tethered Internet gateway modem, with typical mobile broadband connection speed, normally up to around 1.4 Mbps.

Note: Tethering computer through USB to iPhone to access Internet is much easier. Normally, Windows or Mac system will automatically recognize the tethered iPhone, and create require network connection to take advantage of the shared Internet access via iPhone. For Bluetooth connection, other than usual pairing, user also has to select “Connect to Network” from the Bluetooth device option in order to access the Internet from desktop or notebook/laptop computer via tethered iPhone.

After downloading and installing the new Internet tethering enabled profile, some users may report MMS and/or VVM (Visual Voicemail) problem, where MMS or Visual Voicemail stops working. To fix the MMS and VVM not working after enabling Internet tethering error, go to Settings -> General -> Reset ->Reset Network Settings. After the short reset, iPhone should be able to be used for MMS, Voicemail and Internet tethering.

2. Launch the application.
3. Type 91929394.59

4. Press the About button, then the Done button, and then the Home button to exit the application.

5. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Japanese 6. Select/Turn On Emoji7. Now head to your messaging app and you will see a new icon at the bottom left of the keyboard which will give you emoticons!
8. Delete the app (if you want) because the emoji icons will still be there.

How to Mute or send incoming calls to Voice Mail on a locked iPhone

When the iPhone screen is locked, the only option you see on screen at the time of incoming call is ‘Slide to answer’.

So how do you reject if you don’t want to answer the call?

You can let it ring and Mute the ringer by clicking the power button at the top of the phone ONCE. Alternatively you can press the volume bar at the sides to mute the ringer as well.
If you don’t want to accept the call at all and want it go to your voice mail instead, press the power button at the top of the phone TWICE. That will reject the incoming call immediately and send the caller to your voice mail.

NB: If your iPhone screen is not locked, you are presented with an option to Answer or Reject the call.

How to change your iPhone’s Default SSH Password

If you jailbreak your iPhone with anything other than GeoHot’s balckra1n*, then the first thing you ABSOLUTELY MUST DO is change the default filesystem password.

*blackra1n doesn’t install SSH by default, therefore this should not be a problem if you used blackra1n to jailbreak, unless you installed the OpenSSH package from Cydia.

When you jailbreak, the filesystem’s password is set to the common password “alpine.” As people usually don’t bother changing this password after performing a jailbreak, it’s really easy for hackers to get access to any jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch on a public network.

An Australian guy called Ashley Towns demonstrated this by circulating the first known iPhone worm, known as Ikee, which replaces your lockscreen wallpaper with an image of Rick Astley. Luckily Town’s Rickrolling is benign. He wrote the worm to demonstrate how easy it is to break into jailbroken iPhones.

Note: There is no need to follow this guide if you haven’t jailbroken your iPhone/iPod Touch.

You need:
- Jailbroken iPhone / iPod Touch
- Cydia
- MobileTerminal

Here’s how to change the default SSH password after jailbreaking:

1. Make sure you have Cydia or Rock installed on your jailbroken device. If you don’t already have MobileTerminal installed, launch Cydia or Rock and tap the ‘Search’ tab in the bottom navigation bar.

2. Type ‘MobileTerminal’ in the search field and select the first result. Select ‘Install’ on the top right corner and tap ‘Confirm’ on the next screen. It will now install MobileTerminal on your device. Now, tap on ‘Return to Cydia’ and tap home button.

3. Navigate to the newly installed ‘Terminal’ application and tap to open.

4. In MobileTerminal, type ’su root’ and tap return. It will ask you for a password, enter ‘alpine’ and tap return again.

5. Now, type ‘passwd’ and then tap return. Type in a new password such as ’donthackme’ and tap return. Retype the new password to confirm and then tap return one last time to change the password.

6. Now, your SSH password will be changed and your device will be protected against any future hacks that use SSH to access your device.

How to upload and read .pdf, .doc & .lit ebooks on iPhone using Stanza.

I’ve found the best free app to upload my own ebooks is LexCycle Stanza.

First install Stanza on your iPhone/iPodtouch, and then install Stanza Desktop on your PC (52MB) or MAC. Stanza Desktop is a desktop application used for reading ebooks (.pdf, .doc, .lit, .rtf, .txt, .azw, see all Supported Formats).

Now open Stanza and open an ebook file by going to “File” and go down to “Open File…” and browse through the directories of your computer for the ebook. Click “Open” to finish.

I have found that .lit files are the best for this as they provide book title information and a picture of the cover.

Now that the ebook has loaded go to “Tools” and make sure “Enable Sharing” is checked.

So now we launch Stanza on the iPhone/iPodtouch that’s connected to the same network as your computer. Note that you will have to be connected through a Wireless connection, see here for how to setup an adhoc Wireless network. As I have a jailbroken phone, I am using the MyWi App to create a WiFi Hotspot to connect my iPhone to my PC.

Now in the “Library” menu hit “Shared Books” and give it a few seconds to connect to your network. Now your computer name should be on the screen; mine says “derby”, click on your computer name and give it another few seconds to scan.

Windows will ask if you want to allow a connection between the two devices. After you’ve allowed the connection the ebook should appear on the iPhone/iPodtouch.

Click on the ebook and will get the option to “Download” to your device.

You can now view your titles via Cover Flow by opening the “Titles” section and tilting your device to the side.

Just completed jailbreaking my iPhone with firmware update 3.1.2 using blackra1n RC2. I have created a pdf document with steps that I used:

Some important notes before we begin:

Backup your iPhone using itunes so all your contacts/phone numbers can be restored after cracking the device. Your apps may need to be loaded on again after separately however if the phone needs to be restored.
You must have iTunes 9 installed and you must be on firmware 3.1.2, if you are not, be sure to update via iTunes.
The iPhone can be restored back to normal using itunes without any trace of Jailbreaking anytime.
blackra1n RC2 works with all iPhone and iPod touches, but the newer iPod touch and iPhone are only tethered jailbreaks. Tethered means that you will need to run blackra1n each time you reboot your iPhone or iPod touch.

Step 1: Get the tools.
Download the following software:

Notes:

Step 2. Open the blackra1n application.

Step 3. Click the ‘make it ra1n button’.

Step 4. Your iPhone or iPod Touch will reboot once blackra1n has completed and you should see the blackra1n icon on there. If you don’t see the blackra1n icon, go to the last page on your iDevice and you should see it.

Step 5. Install your preferred Installer from the blackra1n app. You have the option of choosing Cydia, Icy, or Rock. I don’t recommend you install them all at once, because that may cause problems. Install them one at a time.

My Installer of choice is Rock as it is the latest and greatest, faster and has a backup functionality for your apps when re-jailbreaking.

Issues When Jailbreaking (How to RESTORE the iPhone back to Normal):
The first time I tried jailbreaking my iPhone, after the first jailbreak the phone would not restart correctly and just stayed on the Apple (was then a Pineapple) logo logon screen.

To fix this I had to force the Phone into recovery mode and restore the phone back to ORIGINAL settings:

• Hold the top button and home button down until it turned off.
• Once it's turned off, plug the iPhone into your PC.
• Press and hold the "Home" button and keep holding the "Home" button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon on the iPhone screen.
• Open iTunes (if it's not already open) and you will be told that "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode".
• Click "OK" and you will be taken to the iPhone pane. Click restore and your iPhone will load back to its original untouched state (a firmware file may need to be downloaded to your pc if you don’t have it locally already).

Once the restore was complete, I then tried the above process of Jailbreaking the iPhone again, however now I could use the Firmware file that was downloaded directly from Apple for my iPhone. The file was found in the following directory on my pc (Win XP):
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

iPhone 3.0.1 onwards issues resolved with Firmware 3.1.2.

My iPhone was causing me a bit of grief after the last couple of Firmware upgrades as when it would go to sleep it wouldn’t wake up. I would have to hold both the power and the home buttons simultaneously to reboot the phone.

The new Firmware 3.1.2 fixes this issue:

Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone not to wake from sleep.
Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular services until restart.
Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video stream.

So far so good, I haven’t had to restart it once in the last week, whereas I was having to do this about 3-4 times a day.

How to view 2 or more instances of Excel files over multiple monitors:

Excel 2003:
- Go to Tools -> Options -> General tab.
- Make sure the option, ‘Ignore other applications’ is checked. Now all the Excel files will be opened as separate instance and you can move the Excel files individually across the monitors.
Each time you open a file, excel will open blank so just go into the Open file again and open the file you want.

Excel 2007:
- Click the Office button -> Excel Options -> Advanced.
- Under General, check ‘Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange’.
