Devilish Delights

2012-10-21T23:18:00.000-07:00

These wonderful treats were made by Laura Macias at Distressed Obsessions. Such a simple treat made fantastic by adding white chocolate and a glittery Spider. Great idea for a bake sale or to share with classmates. And by the way, she does not follow the recipe on the box which make these the best Rice Crispy Treats ever! Maybe one day she will share her recipe!

Autumn In My Heart

2012-10-04T22:15:00.000-07:00

Visiting Bishop's Pumpkin Farm is becoming an annual Fall outing for our Family. The farm is near our house and has so many wonderful things for the kids to experience. They love climbing through the Charlie Brown Pumpkins. You can hear a loud scream every time they stumble upon a rooted one.

Lynae

2012-03-28T19:09:00.002-07:00

I love this picture of Lynae.

She was ridding on the Merry-Go-Round at Great America.

It was very hard to get this shot because I was very

dizzy spinning around while looking through the lens.

I can also remember riding this ride as a child.

2012-01-01T16:51:00.000-08:00

The only thing harder than getting a 15 year old into a

pink tuxedo is getting him to smile for a picture. Jermael

was less than thrilled to strike a pose but Mama made him anyway.

Wedding Cake

2011-10-02T08:19:00.000-07:00

I had the pleasure of baking and decorating

a wedding cake for my brother's wedding on

9-10-11

The cake came out well and it tasted wonderful!

It was vanilla cake with lemon and butter cream filling on the top and bottom.

The middle tier was white almond cake with cherry and vanilla butter cream filling.

They actually did not cut this cake and serve it. Cake was served from the rear.

My mother provided the tastiest chocolate and carrot cake ever!

Lynae's 3rd Birthday Cake

I was very excited to make this cake.

I had some difficulty getting the butter cream smooth

and getting it to stand up straight.

But at some point you have to throw perfection

out the window and just enjoy the day.
