Cheryl Cole is reported in the Lifestyle Magazine ‘Marie Clare’ to be the latest celebrity fan of a wonder cream that uses a specially formulated version of snake serum to smooth lines and prolong the look of youthful skin, she joins the ranks of other stars including Naomi Campbell, Katie Holmes and Kate Moss who are all reported to be fans.

Glamoxy was launched in a wave of publicity earlier this year, available from top end stores such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges the product sells for around £125 for a bottle containing 25mls of cream.
The active ingredient is called syn-ake, it is a synthetic version of the venom produced by the Asian Temple Viper. It works by effectively freezing the muscles in the face to reproduce the effect of botox injections – but without the risks associated with the injection therapy.

The results are almost immediate – it gets to work in about 90 seconds and clinical trials have demonstrated that with regular use around 52% of all lines are reduced.

The Manufacturers actually claim that there is not another product like this around.

It’s that office party time again

During the winter, plenty of layers are the order of the day and covering most of our bodies means we often neglect our skin routine. (out of sight, out of mind).

Then Christmas arrives and with it, the office party. Now I don’t know about you but I know that my little black party dress looks so much nicer when I am sporting a tan. Now that my summer glow has faded to its usual pasty self I need help.

But before reaching for that bottle of fake tan EXFOLIATE. It doesn’t take long and can be done either in the bath or shower. Exfoliating removes the build up of dead skin cells that accumulate on the surface of your skin leaving it dull and rough. After exfoliating you will find your moisturiser is more readily absorbed and your skin will feel so much nicer.

Go easy on the fake tan, a little goes a long way, make sure you apply evenly. Its far better to apply two applications to build your tan up gradually than try to do it in one go and don’t forget, don’t get dressed until it is fully absorbed into your skin or you will mark your clothes.

Keep your body moisturised and you will be surprised how long your tan can last.

Is your moisturiser doing enough to keep your skin at its best?

Mine isn’t and I bet most of us could do with a little help here and there.

As featured on the GMTV This Morning Programme you should be using a richer moisturiser in the winter to help protect your skin and to help prevent it from drying out. I recommend Aloe Vera Nourishing Cream from Babaria. Protect your hands this winter.

One of the first places to show our age is our hands. Unfortunately our hands are almost always on show.

The skin on our hands is thin, delicate and often dry, our hands seem to be the first to suffer from the cold, or from our centrally heated homes and air conditioned offices.

You can help keep your hands and nails in tip top condition this winter just remember to follow these three simple rules.

Protect your hands from the cold by making a habit of wearing gloves when you venture outside.

Make sure you wear rubber gloves when doing the washing up or using cleaning products, especially during the winter. Overexposure to both water and harsh chemicals in dishwashing liquids, draws the natural moisture and lubrication out of your hands.

Most importantly of all, use a good hand cream a few times a day to keep the skin on your hands moisturised and to prevent your nails from drying out and splitting.

I recommend three hand creams from the Babaria range.

Aloe Vera consentrated Hand and Nail Cream, also contains glycerine to help lock in that moisture, it's great for dry hands it is absorbed easily with no sticky residue.
