Witcher 3 DELAYED until 2015 !!! The horror :0 via Letter

Yes, the title speaks for itself people, the highly anticipated The Witcher 3: The Hunt will take a little longer to release because it simply isn't ready for you're grubby little hands. A letter by the head developers was released that explains the game is being well taken care of. They plan to "expand new boundaries" and "set new benchmarks". The Witcher series is an OPEN world game based on book that features a group of Monster hunters with unusual powers that ...you guessed it HUNT MONSTERS! OUT FEBRUARY 2015 on PC, Xbox One & Playstation 4.

Release Date of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – An Open Letter

Ever since we started working on the third installment in The Witcher franchise, it has been our aim to produce a title that would take our 11 years of experience in creating RPGS and distill them into a quintessence, into a game that would effectively crown those years. At the same time, we have wanted The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to expand creative boundaries, set new benchmarks, develop the genre as a whole. Ultimately, you, the players, must get an unforgettable adventure to experience in a vast, open world – and that's most important. We've created a story that flows naturally, cinematically, rendered it in amazing sound and visuals, while preserving full freedom of choice – all for you. We knew this to be an ambitious plan, but believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities. A project this vast and complex would inevitably require special care in its final stages, manual fine-tuning of many details, thorough testing time and again.

We recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game's final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us. Consequently, we have set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015.

At the same time, we believe the game will prove to be worth the wait and meet the expectations you have of us. Rocksteady Gives Arkham City Players Free Skin

Tomorrow Rocksteady will release a free Batman Inc. Skin (Classic Grey & Yellow) to all platforms. They even went as far as to release a code (that you can find below) that allows you to access your favorite skins in the game at the beginning without having to complete the campaign first.

Here's The Code to access Batman's wardrobe early courtesy of Game Director Sefton Hill:

Devil May Cry HD Collection out April

Good news this morning from Capcom concerning the release date of the new Devil May Cry HD Collection. Get ready to pull out your dual pistols this April in glorious fashion. Devil May Cry HD Collection is coming out April 3, 2012 to North America & Europe.

The collection will go for $39.99 and will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 & Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening. Capcom is currently working on a new DmC which tells the story of Dante's origins.

DUST 514 - Your Guy Can Look Like This

DUST 514 was teased at E3 2011 and since then little has been shed about the game but the PS Blog just revealed the awesome suits in the game (I'm assuming will be accessible in multiplayer). There are 4 suits available, all of which are customizable. Think Crysis 2 with suit customizations (hopefully a better online community too). The 4 suits are Caldari Assault, Standard Assault, Amarr Heavy, & Standard Heavy.

More info about all the suits at the PS BLOG, but heres a brief description of what their capable of:

The number and type of slots determine the modules (interchangeable hardware components that enhance or otherwise alter the functionality of the dropsuit), weapons, and equipment you can fit. The slot types available on dropsuits are as follows:

Light
Heavy
Sidearm
High
Low
Equipment
Grenade

The three weapon slots – Light, Heavy, and Sidearm – cascade. That is, a Heavy slot can be fitted with a Sidearm, Light or Heavy weapon and, similarly, a Light slot can be fitted with a Light or Sidearm weapon. The high and low slots are module slots, each used for particular types of modules. Equipment slots allow the dropsuit to carry deployable or handheld equipment such as scanners, nanohives, drop uplinks, repair tools and more that will be covered in a future blog. Lastly, grenade slots determine the capacity (i.e. how many you can carry) of the grenade types – Locus, AV, EMP – fitted.

The Extended reveal trailer for Microsoft's Chilling exclusive Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Many people may confuse this as a new DLC for the game but you do not need to own the previous AW to play this. Alan Wake American Nightmare will be a new downloadable game for Xbox Live Arcade coming sometime in 2012.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Out March 2012

Square Enix Announced when we should expect the release of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance at Jump Festa. March we can expect to see our Disney friends once again but no 3DS bundle has been announced for the game.

Kingdom Hearts speaks to my heart and as much as I want a port for the Playstation 3 I can still experience KH in some fashion.

Expecting a future battlefield game with 3D capabilities? An interview with Battlefield 3 executive producer Patrick Bach tells fans different. In Patrick's words “is not 3D, for sure.” 3D is becoming a huge fad with movies and even some video games have 3D capabilities but is 3D really the future of this industry?

We'll have to wait and see but for now just rest assure that future Dice games probably won't be capable of stereoscopic 3D but maybe something completely new that will shake up the industry.

BORDERLANDS 2!

It was just announced today that Borderlands 2 is, and I repeat, is in development. Just last year many people thought that Borderlands 2 was not going to happen, and some believed it was a sure-thing. Well as of today, Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, has announced that BL2 is in development and should release between April 2012 and 2013. Hopefully, Borderlands 2 will make up for Duke Nukem: Forever, a game released by Gearbox this year with less than average ratings. If done well, Gearbox can get back their respect, especially with Brothers In Arms: Furious Four coming out later this year, which looks pleasing.

Borderlands will be the cover story for Game Informer this month, with a 12-page-spread. It has been described like so.“Combining invention and evolution, Borderlands 2 features all-new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story. Players will reveal secrets, and escalate mysteries of the Borderlands universe as they adventure across the unexplored new areas of Pandora.” Sounds amazing to me; especially after beating the original for the eighth time earlier this month.

New Mortal Kombat Character Freddy Krueger?!

It's been announced that Freddy Krueger will be the 4th character added to MK's roster this August for 400 points or $5. His combos look pretty intense, but the whole situation is fairly stupid. Why add Freddy Krueger when there is tons of MK characters that are left out of the game? Lame. Where is Frost or Cinder, Frost's sister rumored to be the next DLC. Oh well, it is not like it's the last character added to the MK roster, just the last for the summer. Hopefully we will see some more Mortal Kombat chars added instead of various media characters. But if it's heading this way, I hope we see Chuck Norris.

Future PS3 Players May have to Upgrade ASAP

A recent memo sent to Gamestop stores nationwide indicates that a future 160gb Playstation 3 model will only function with the use of an HDMI cord.

What this means for future customers is that they'll need an HDTV to play with the next PS3 model because they will no longer function on standard definition televisions. The memo notes these future PS3 models as The "K" systems and store clerks will have to address a customer upfront that an HDTV and HDMI cable is required to play.

Component cables (red,yellow, white cables) will no longer function with future models.

If this is all true it seems like Sony is trying to push everyone forward to the high definition era if they haven't already. Personally, I don't see how anyone can play in standard definition anymore but not many gamers can afford new tv's and thats understandable. Is this a good move? Memo screen below

Square Enix Money Loss. Opinions.

So if you haven't heard, Square Enix, famous Japanese game developer, has suffered an crucial money loss from dropping their game Gun Loco and the devastating earthquakes in Japan. They plan on losing $148.33 by the end of 2011. Things aren't looking good for Square Enix. Square Enix has been around forever producing hit role playing games like the Final Fantasy franchise. They are extremely popular around the world. I guess overall I want to display my opinion on how Square Enix can pick up their scattered pieces and get back on track.

It looks as if it is time for Square Enix to release a game that will be a money maker, a hit, something that Square Enix can bank on. The company has not produced a decent game since Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep in fall of 2010, and one that has sold many copies at that. Square Enix has is not really the best developer, for it's games other than Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts usually flop, and suck to be honest. They are a lot like Capcom; in the way that they only produce decent games in one genre. Capcom's only good games, in my opinion, is Street fighter and Resident Evil; the rest do not reach this generations standards. Square is the same way; only their rpg games do well, their other projects often fail, Gun Loco for example. They best thing to say is for Square to stick to their roots, and produce more rpgs.

So what do I think should be done? Kingdom Hearts 3 would be a decent money maker, and would make plenty of die-hard fans happy (me included). Even Kingdom Hearts remastered for the PS3 would sell millions. Why not finally finish Kingdom Hearts 3, we all know it's in development. My dream is for them to finally remake Final Fantasy VII; why not? All they would have to do is revamp the graphics, add voice overs, and put the game on the recent Final Fantasy engine. The game would be a top seller, especially in Japan; it would also raise the sales of Playstations through the rough. Square Enix would end up looking like angels to Sony. Final Fantasy VII is one of the best games of our time, and all time. It needs to be shown to the new generation of gamers, such as Super Mario 64, and Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time has done. I may be wrong, but the time for this is coming. If they can release one of the various games they have in development and get up enough money for Final Fantasy VII, Square will be back on top of the gaming world. Maybe I'm wrong; what do you think about a Final Fantasy remake?

"PSN Pass" Revealed in Resistance 3 Bundle

A PSN Pass logo has been revealed for new Resistance 3 Bundle. This pass could be related to free month live cards for Xbox 360. No further details about the PSN pass are known at the moment. Maybe these passes would be implemented more into game sales as incentives to buy them.

Crysis 1 for Xbox and PS3?

The ESRB has recently rated Crysis for the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems. Thus meaning, people that missed out on this previous installment will be able to play it; being many people that didn't have a computer powerful enough to run it.

I believe the port will be pretty glitchy, because I doubt Crytek will do much to revamp the old title. Hopefully, the price tag will be dropped under $60. Maybe $40, but I highly doubt it.

What do you think about Crysis coming to home systems? And what do you think the price will be?

Uncharted Clone

The game is called "Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta" a third person action adventure inspired by sony exclusive Uncharted series. Made by Saudi Arabian game developers Unearthed looks real bad & not to tasteful.

Regardless, of it being only a PSN/ XBLA release I could not see why anyone would want to buy this game & I'm not even sure if it releases on the US PSN/ XBLA. Physics & Graphical issues galore but this game is being made by a country probably with limited resources for video game developement so they get an A for Effort but nothing else checks out after that.

If you'd like to see gameplay for this masterpiece watch below and be blown away.
