Stacy had a DVD case when we moved in together. It worked for many years, but it just wasn't doing the job anymore. It was a 4-sided spinning case. With the weight of all our collected DVDs, it just wouldn't spin anymore.<div style="text-align: center;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjypNX5tABQ5y-X7MHerkmDfjFodamtjF3WGakJ_p51SIRDhR9KydIzRnJcxZMBM_6bEv0Hrtkz-b0-E_RHGvA0IGrwp831Y60ChHbtwv_7jMXa52zKZNWsPIeSAOqKbdPW9DZTROxdWry/s320/100_3598.JPG" style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385440030096494034" /></div><div>Here is what we built to replace it with. The new stand also holds about 100 more DVDs and gives us more floor space.<div style="text-align: center;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3fjAj_DxA0yE2mEmqyCD8JzWAh8Fonw8kH7BgWo2Camx6hJRx9r3x_Lxpfbg3ANV1wmE0X-nie-loFnsEB1kNkPG_f9m2ST37DWrAZcfCVGIVXje3QRHse2AIymTAi2FZYoNlOEkpNeV3/s320/100_3584.JPG" style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385438679117164722" /></div><div>A nice advantia pine was used.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1xQ6a6yz9UjVvkDVBde_ippxuPlwdisHDqnnLhLoELtH46bKCmsr_kVhiSpmoL3Xfj-H4g_XohCUp4YDRs6yWdOB4d-7ha5YCycbDh4N4YjeiBkcPymswKUdTnvg6q4PXaF8HJwSqeKA6/s320/100_3591.JPG" style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385440002857390546" /></div><div>3/4 inch dadoes were cut at 1/4 inch deep and used with 1 1/2 inch brads to hold the case together.
