How I Make Money With Google Adsense, and How You CAN TOO

I have a lot of friends and family who , when I first started, had never even heard of google adsense. Nevermind, them thinking they too could make money with it. Most of my family and friends thought I was wasting my time on some sort of " make money on the internet scam". Things were hard for me at this time in my life. Ever month I could barley make ends meet and I was always one step away from financial disaster.In January of 2004 that "disaster" came in the form of a broken down car. My car needed over $500 worth of repairs. Which was $500 more then I had. My credit cards were maxed out, and my credit was destroyed. I needed my car to go to work, so that I could get paid, so that I could pay my other bills. So that month I didn't pay some other bills so that afford to get my car fixed. Then the snow ball happened. A financial snowball that I could not stopped. I needed to make some extra money. I started to do some research online. This is when I found Google Adsense, and other Affiliate Marketing programs.

I won't lie to you, I didn't become success over night. One reason for that was NO ONE, and mean NO ONE, was writing anytime about Google Adsense. So I had to learn the ropes for myself. I had to teach myself everything. At first it was an extra $50 a month, then an extra $100 and so on! Once I figured out the trick to how to make money with google adsense, and the checks started to roll in, they all wanted in as well!

Sooner or later my friends and family believed me when I told them all the time I was spending locked in an office wasn't a waste! Then THEY wanted to me to teach them everything I had learned. At one point a close friend of mine ( who now is making around $500 a month ) said to me " You need to write this down! No one else on the internet is writing anything like it! Everything online about making money with google adsense is a scam." So, here I am following her advice. I promise you that this is how How I Make Money With Google Adsense and if you follow all of my advice on this blog you too will be able to make money online with google adsense ( or through affiliate marketing) .

How does Google Make Money

One of the first things you need to understand in order to make money with Google is know: How does Google Make Money . Why is this important? Because the more money Google Makes, the more money YOU make. And if you are STILL reading this blog, then that means you are well on your way to Making Money With Google!

Before I started to make money with Google I always wondered how they were making any money. They don't sell any products, and most of the services they offer are free. So how the heck does google do it? Even more impressive in 2009 Google is set to bring in about 10 billion in revenue. YES, Ten Billion Dollars. All this from a company who offers their services for free.

How do they do it? The answer on how google makes money is.... Advertising. And by reading and doing everything in this blog you will be able to get a good slice of that 10 Billion Dollars! Here's how it works and why it is important to you:

Advertisers pay google in two ways. One in on the google homepage (Have you ever went to search for a particular thing in google and at the top of your search results you see a box that says "Paid Advertisement"? ) . The other is on other peoples webpage (this is how you will make money with google). These advertisers only pay google if someone clicks on their advertisements. It's an ingenious idea, because the companies who pay for this advertising can target for very specific keywords, and for a very specific audience. Look in the picture below ( Click on it to make it bigger ). As you can see in the picture paying for a sponsored link gets you to the #1 spot in google and targets the exact audience that this company is looking for.

The other type of advertisement the google makes money with, and with which you will make money with, is called "content advertisements" You have probably seen it on many webpages and not have even noticed it was their. Below you will find an example of what content advertisements look like.

Again, an advertiser ONLY pays if someone clicks on their ad. From these ads is how YOU will make money from google. Once I teach you how to pick a top, and set up a webpage, you will place these ads on your webpage. You will then get paid each time someone clicks on your ad.

I am sure by now you are asking yourself, " Well how MUCH per-click am I going to get paid?"

This all depends on how much the advertiser has said they will pay-per-click and how much google said a specific keyword is worth (more on this in the next post). So, for example say a company says to google that they are willing to pay $1.00 for the keyword phrase, "How to make a website". Google will then turn around and say to that company, "At that price we will be willing to show your ads 50% of the time". If the company offers to pay more per click, then google will show there ads more. As a general rule, google's asking price per-click all depends on how many people want to advertise for that subject. If it's more people want to advertise for it google will ask for more money, and if it's less, google will ask for less.

How does this effect you? Well, google will pay you about 40% of what the advertisers pay! Yes, 40%! So, out of that 10 Billion dollars that google made last year - FOUR BILLION DOLLARS of it went to people like YOU!

Now that you know the answer to " How Does Google Make Money ? " we are well on our way to turning their enormous profits into our own profits!

Start Writing!

But what to should you write about that is going to make me money with Google Adsense?

This is the #1 question I get asked all the time, and the simple truth is that I can only give you some pointers. First and formost, write about what you know and DON'T write about your life. Let me be honest with you here. Unless you are famous, no one cares about what your doing from day to day except your family and some friends. Instead, write more of a "How To..." kind of blog. And keep the subject as narrow as possible. For instant, if you know about car repair - don't write about repairing all engines - DO write about ford engines.

Another good thing to write about is things that are in the news and hot right now. For examples, if the day you heard about Tiger Woods car accidnet you started writing 5 or 6 enteries a day, everyday about the sagga you would have gotten numerous visitors to your site. Subsuquently, you would have then make money with google because visitors equals clicks which then translates into money!

Writing about niches is a great idea too. For instance, with the radical increase in diagnoses diabetes cases in the last decade people are scrabbling to read about how others are managing there diabetes. Thus, diabetes is a great niche to write about.

I'm sure we all want to know How To Make A Million Dollars ... And so, i will tell you how to do so. Here I am going to tell you the secret to make money online.There is one thing that 90% of people do when attempting to make money online with google that will result in failure. I repeat - 90% of people who venture out to make money online fail. No one whom I've ever taught to make money online has failed. Why? Because I know the secret... The 90% who fail go out and create a meaning less webpage. The 10% who succeed know how to create a productive webpage threw successful keyword research. Most people concentrate on the webpage it's self, but what's the use of a good webpage if no ones ever going to find it?

In February of 2007 the world wide web consisted of about 29.7 billion pages, and the #1 way people find these pages is threw search engines like Yahoo, Bing and Google. 80% of people who are searching online for a website click on a page that is on the 1st page of the search engines. So, if your webpage is NOT on the 1st page of the search engine chances are your not going to be found.

Getting on the 1st page of a search engine takes many components, all of which we will go over in this blog. But the most important components is picking great keywords, the least important is making an appealing webpage. Most people do it the opposite and dedicate most of there webpage making efforts into, well, the webpage.

What is a "niche" and why is it important?

You will often hear the word "niche" being floated around when ever anyone talks about making money with google. It is referring to "niche marketing". Here we will touch on what exactly "niche marketing" is and how you need to use it to your advantage.

"Niche Marketing" or a "niche" is a specific part of the population you intent on focusing your marketing efforts toward. For making money with google adsense using a blog as our webpage it will refer to what subject we want to write about, and thus what subjects will come up in our google adsense ads.

Why is finding a niche important?

Different niches will earn you different amounts of money for each click. Some niches will earn you up $10.00 per-click while other niches will earn you ONLY $0.01 per-click. One cent per-click is for the most part a waste of your time. Lets do some math here: is you earn $5.00 per-click, and get ONLY 60 clicks per-day you will be earning $300.00 per-day! According to the U.S. Census Bureau in 2008 that US had a population of 304,059,724. Thus, you would ONLY need 0.00000197% of the American population to click on ONE of your ads to be making well over $100,000 a year with google adsense! 60 clicks per-day is achievable by ANYONE. Thus, you want your blog/webpage to be geared toward subjects with those high paying clicks! Pretty amazing - Huh?

Furthermore, you need to find a niche that is NOT over loaded with competition. For example, the "make money online" niche has a fairly good payout, BUT is extremely popular. If you search the term "Make Money Online" in google you will have 168,000,000 search results! So, you need to find a niche that people want to learn about, has high payout per click with google adsense and is doesn't have an intense about of competition.

Simple enough, right? Well, finding a niche that pays good money per -click, that is NOT extremely over competitive, and will give you enough material to write about it is what is difficult. In the next entry I will recommend ways that all of the top earner with google adsense use to find a niche.

How To Find High Paying Keywords

As we learned earlier google makes its money from advertisement, but what we we didn't get into was how to use this to our greatest advantage.

What we want to find is particular keywords that will give you the highest pay-per-click. Why do hours of work for a keyword that is only going to get you $0.03 per click? We want high paying Keywords! Google has both, "Adsense" and "Adwords". Google Adwords is the advertising platform for business that we spoke about. Business pay Google for every person who clicks on their ads. Those ads are paid by the businesses via Adwords. As you know businesses will ONLY pay if you click on their ad. The part that effects you the most is the price paid per click is determined by the market place. That is, the more competition for a particular subject or keyword, the more the business is going to pay Google's adwords per-person who clicks on their ads.

The price Adwords charges the advertiser per click for content ads, roughly determines the price YOU will be paid per-click with google Adsense. Knowing this, keep in mind, there is no hard and fast rule of what keywords are going to give you the most pay-per-click. This is because the amount you will be paid per-click is determined by the market a particular niche. One day you could be paid $2.50 per-click one day and $0.65 the next. Thus, in the subsequent blog entries when talking about calculations you need to know that they are only estimations of what you could earn, and hard rules. With that said, in my experience my " possible earning calculations " are ussually about 90% accurate! Discovering high paying keywords and niches that the payout per click will vary, BUT if you find a high paying keyword most days will mean high pay!!!!

Knowing all this information on how Adsense determines YOUR pay will give you a head above the rest of the people who are not reading this. What you should do now is go out and "play" with the google search terms and discover which are the most popular. Check out what people are writing about. Notice how many paid advertisements their are on the google.com search page for particular subjects. This will give you a better index of which keywords and words will pay the most. For example: type in the words " Cheap Flights " (without quotes) at google and you will get 22,900,000 search results, AND 3 paid advertisements on top! My guess is that this is a niche that pays pretty darn good!

Homework:

Go on to google and search for anything that comes to your brain.. Anything.. And look for trends. Maybe "How to pay your bills on time" has 3 paid advertisements? But the term, "Fix my blackberry" doesn't have any. The more you know & observe about search terms the more money you can make.

How to find a Niche For your Blog That Pays GREAT

The hardest part of making money online with google adsense is going to be a finding a niche that pays great! Even some of the most competitive words you can still make some money on. Why? Because of "LONG tail KEYWORDS"! What are long tail keywords you ask, I knew you would ask! Long tail keywords are keyword phrases that are three or more words long. It's a proven fact that most people searching on the google now a days use long tail keywords when searching for a particular topic! Use this to your advantage when picking out a niche!

Googles "spiders" picks up on word combination. So, lets say you are righting a blog on a competitive topic, let say "potty training" for instants. The sentences you create in YOUR blog will be different then all the other sentences created by other bloggers on the topic. Meaning your blog will create different long tail keywords then another persons blog on the same subject.

Thus, say someone goes to googles and searches:

"is bribing my child with chocolate ok during potty training?"

If your blog has the works [bribing] + [child] + [Potty Training] in it, chances are YOU will show up in the 1st page of google - EVEN THOUGH you won't show up on the first page of google for the highly competive keywords & niche of [Potty Training].

One of the keys to use this to your advantage is to write often and write a lot. Furthermore, if you choose a competitive niche, make sure you research less competive long tail keywords to use within your blog! This will insure you more vistors. How to Make A webpage that will Make Money

Here's the thing - Google loves, L-O-V-E blogs, and for the beginner web page makers it is the easiest way for google and other search engines to notice you. Signing up for a simple blog at Blogger.com will get you well on your way to making money with Google Adsense.

Adding google adsense to your blog is easy at Blogger.com is easy, Click on the "Monetize" tab in the Dashboard settings and follow the onscreen directions.

To make your blog look atheistically pleasing, you can can pick out a free Blogger template here: http://btemplates.com/

To make these templates works 1st download a template you like onto your desktop, and "un-zip the file". Then go back to blogger.com and in your dashboard, click on the tab in Blogger.com that says "layout". After, click on the link that says, "Edit HTML". Then see where it says the following: "Upload a template from a file on your hard drive" click on the button that says [Browse] and find the "un-zipped" file on your desktop. Highlight the file, click [open], then click [upload]. And Wha-La , you have a pretty blog.

Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords

We are all looking for the Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords. Anyone who is attempting to make money with google adsense is looking for that "magical" keyword. As you know I have developed a formula that allows me to find many, many keywords that bring in money constantly. I have a list of 100's of keywords that I know will bring in the big bucks. Now, all I have to do is start ranking for those keywords and the money starts rolling in! In fact, my list of winning keywords is so long I am willing to give you some. I highly recommend you get my list of high paying keywords. This list could earn you upwards of $5000 a month. Its a perfect way to get started, and it will shave hours and hours off of your time researching top keywords.

It is NOT un-heard of to hear of people getting $10 to $15 dollars A CLICK! That means that the advertisers bidding on these keywords are bidding $30 - $40 dollars a click. Pretty unbelievable huh? Just imagine, All you would have to do is get 10 people to your site to click on ads and you'd make over $100 a day doing practically nothing. The only problem with these super high paying google adsense keywords is that EVERYONE knows about them, and everyone is trying to get ranked in google's search engines for them. The Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords , even for an expert, can be nearly impossible to get anyone to your site for. This is why I tend to go for middle of the road paying keywords. This way the competition is lower, but the payout is still goog. Why work hours on end like a dog to get 3 high paying clicks and make $30? When you could work half that time and get 100 clicks, and make $130? However, I know you are all probably drooling at what the keywords that are earning some $10 - $15 a click, so here they are:

Seach Engines & how to them to notice you.

How does Google and other search engines notice you? How long will it take?

Google other search engines have what is called "spiders" that are sent out to the web in search of new webpages. The "spiders" are essentially a computer program that puts every webpage in the world wide web into files. Once your webpage is filed it is called indexed. Once you are indexed you can show up in the search engines. To be indexed can take anywhere from 3 hours to 2 weeks. BUT you can help the process by doing some of the following: #1. Write good material often. Make sure your material IS original or you will be docked for being indexed (more on that later). If possible write more then once a day. #2. google the words "press release" - and sign up for as many "press release" sites as possible. Here are a few for you to start off with:

Find High Paying , Low Competition , Adsense Keywords

Now I need to teach you how to Find High Paying , Low Competition , Adsense Keywords. The is where 99 % of your time should be spent. I repeat, this is where 99 % of your time should be spent. You won't make money with great content, you will make money with great KEYWORDS! Here I will give you all the tools you need to find magical Keywords that are sure to bring you the big bucks.

Luckily for us google gives us everything we need to research keywords! The tool that you should refer to consistently is google's keyword research tool. You can find it here:

Using the example we used before of the keyword "Cheap Flights". Using the Google Keyword tool, as you can see in the image below (click on image to make larger ) , this keyword has 13,600,000 searches in the month of December Alone!

Wow incredible! That's the good news... Now for the bad news....

Before I explain why "Cheap Flight" isn't as great of a keyword as it sounds I need to take a minute to explain some new terminology to you. The word is Page Rank, ussually referred to as 'PR'. Through some secret algorithm Google assigns each page a PR. ( In later blog entries I will explain to you how you can increase your webpages PR ). PR is a numerical value of; 0 to 10. 10 being the highest. 0 being the lowest. 8 through 10 is extremely hard to achieve. While 1 through 3 is relatively easy to achieve. Google, for example is a 10. Amazon.com is an 9. These numbers are basically determine how much impact or weight your webpage carries and the likely hood of it being ranked in a search engines.

As a general, very general, rule google will rank a PR page of 8 above a PR page of 0. I say that this is a general rule because other things besides PR determine where you land in the search engines. We will get into them at another time.

HERE'S A TIP US Adsense money makers don't share to often - ENJOY!!

To determine PR in webpages I suggest downloading the web-brower Motzilla's Firefox. You can get it by clicking here --> [ Click Here ] . Then getting the add-on extension called SEO Status PageRank. This will show you the PR of every page and it's Alexus Rank ( We will talk about Alexus Rank in my next post ). Click Here to get this Add-On --> [ Click Here ]. Back to the Bad News.....

Now that we have our Firefox's add-on search for the term "Cheap Flight" again.. As you can see from the image below (click on it to make it bigger) when you search for this keyword the first page of google is filled with PR5, PR 6 and PR 7 pages! Pages rank this high will be nearly impossible to compete with! Thus, this is NOT A Good Keyword!!! Throw in the towel, and try another one.

The keyword research aspect of making money with Google adsense can be time consuming and tedious. Like I said at the beginning of this blog entry, it should be where you spend most of your time, because it is the most important part of making money online! I highly recommend that in order to jump start your money making with google that you get the 25 high paying , low competition, adsense keywords that is available on this site. You will also get Free Coaching and FREE weekly newsletter filled with niches & tricks.

Now that we know how to weed out which adsense keywords are worth going after, we need to spend some time to determine just how much money they will make us! It will be up to you to determine if a; Keyword with virtually no competition, but will make you $.02 a click is worth chasing or if it's more worth your wild to chase a keyword with higher competition that will make you $.10 a keyword. My list of 25 high paying keywords contains keywords with virtually no competition and will make you any where from $.50 - $3.00 a click!

Determining the approximate price you will get per-click is easy! Very easy. However, it is important to know that these are just averages. These averages include the HIGH and LOW Price Per Click (PCP). Thus, for a key word you estimate you will get $.02 a click. In a single day you might make $.01 cent or $.05 cents a click on that keyword. It all depends....

Ok. So, go back to the google keyword tool found here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . Click on the drop down bar ( highlighted on the image below Click on image for it to get bigger. ) labeled "Choose Columns to Display". Choose the option " Show All " ( Also Highlighted in the image below - Click on image for it to get bigger. )

After doing this you will get a column labeled " CPC ", which stands for "Cost Per Click". This is the average cost an advertiser pays google per click for that keyword. When I did this for the keyword "cheap flight" the CPC was $2.14 (see image below). As we learned earlier you will be paid approximately 40% of the CPC. Thus, for this keyword you would get about $0.86 Per-Click! This would be a great keyword if the competition wasn't so high!

Now I would start making an excel sheet. Highlight the winning keywords Green, and the loosing ones Red!

A Recap:

#1. 90% Of your time should be placed in to Keyword Research. I highly recommend eliminating this time by getting 25 high paying, low competition keywords using the "Buy Now Button" above.

#2. Pages Ranked with 1 - 3 PR are easily beaten. ( Stick with these )

Pages Ranked with 4 - 7 PR are very, very hard to beat. ( Forget it )

Pages Ranked with 8 - 10 PR are nearly impossible. ( No Chance, leave it alone! )

#3. Determine how much money you will make per-click with google's Keyword tool.

Homework:Take sometime to explore different keywords. Look at things around you and see how much that keyword is worth. For example, I have a blackberry, coffee cup, pens , baby picture at my desk right now. What's around you, and how much are they worth as a keyword?
