Well, y&#39;all. It&#39;s here. The oppressive heat and humidity characteristic of a low-country summer. The last month, after the oppression of May, made for outside play and exploration with Tucker and plenty of pleasurable, lengthy morning meditations. It&#39;s over. Tucker can have it. I did make it out yesterday morning and wondered whether hot meditation is as beneficial as they say hot yoga is.

Perhaps I don&#39;t remember the days I had toddlers in the house on a daily basis or perhaps I was younger and could keep up. It&#39;s probably a combination of the two. The kitchen has always been a gathering place for my family for as long as I can remember.
