2012-04-25T10:53:00.000-07:00

Here are my sheet from my folder showing my ideas for my viral work.

Graphic Communication Principles - Folder Work

2012-04-23T12:34:00.000-07:00

Here are some my research and design pages from my folder for this subject. It also has a few mock up posters which i have done on photoshop.

Event & Campaign Posters.

2012-04-23T05:47:00.001-07:00

Here is a basic idea of what my posters will look like, the first one will be different, that isn't the final one. I have taken One image and split it, so when you put them next to each other, they make the one poster.

Folder Work for Branding in Context: Poster

Here are a few images from my folder, showing research and my design ideas and final poster for this branding module.

Poster Designs

2012-03-08T11:49:00.000-08:00

these are just two ideas for my posters books over e-readers campaign. I'm just trying somethings with different type, and maybe have the quote smaller and simple type.

Research and Idea Sheets

2012-02-22T14:57:00.000-08:00

Just a few pages of some research and ideas for my campaign name. I was going to use 'Printed Word' but i found that quite limiting when it came to do some ideas. So i decided to go with the name 'Paperback' and have came up with a logo, which i hope is understandable when people first look at it without having the name underneath.

A1 poster

2012-02-20T10:50:00.000-08:00

My poster blown up to A1, they are both the same, it was just printed out again to see if the background image would be a bit different.

Posters

2012-02-18T11:38:00.000-08:00

I have changed my poster, and gone for a black shape behind the text instead of white. In the second image, i have changed the opacity of the black shape, but i am not sure which one too choose to blow up to A1.

Viral Research

2012-02-16T08:50:00.000-08:00

I remember seeing this a few months ago, and I really like the way different parts of the story come out of the book, whether it's some piece of scenery or objects.

Viral Research

2012-02-02T09:41:00.000-08:00

I really like the idea of a part of the story coming out of the book, they have also used other books, and taken a character coming out of the book.

Viral Research

2012-02-01T08:48:00.000-08:00

I found came across this video on youtube to help me form some sort of idea on what i want to do for my viral piece. I had an idea of showing parts of the story in each book, similar to this, but using more than one book.

Poster & Artist books

2012-01-23T07:25:00.000-08:00

I got these 4 books out of the library the other day, to start with the branding brief, the books i got were
A Century of Posters
Milton Glaser - Graphic Design
Rodchenko
Masters of Poster Design

I have already looked through them, and there are quite a few designs that will inspire me with ideas.

Mailer Tryouts

2012-01-11T06:44:00.000-08:00

Done the outside package, that the main mailer goes into, i think it works quite well, can't decide whether to put the logo on the outside or just have the photo.

Mailer Tryouts

2012-01-11T06:24:00.000-08:00

I've just done some quick ideas on Illustrator, and i didn't get the size quite right, and there looks like there is too much white on the inside, on the back of it, will be an image of a part of Wolverhampton

Mailer Tryouts

I tried the same mailer, but used Wool to put through the letters like on the logo.
I'm not too sure if i like this idea.

Mailer Tryouts

2012-01-10T09:13:00.000-08:00

Here are a few mailers that i have made and considering using the that style as my final piece.

final 3 layouts for the solution pages for my booklet.

Final layouts for my first 3 pages of my booklet.

Last page

2011-11-30T13:23:00.000-08:00

This is my last page of my booklet. I was thinking of adding a few more pictures seeing as it looks a bit empty.

Double page spreads

2011-11-30T12:58:00.000-08:00

These are my final layouts, for my booklet. I may change the colours of the type on the first few spreads, and I will probably add more images to the last few as well so it doesn't look so empty.

List of microsites

2011-11-18T04:19:00.001-08:00

Microsite

This is more of a toy than a microsite.

Microsite

2011-11-17T09:05:00.000-08:00

I found *this microsite, I really like the intro animation, telling you to have your speakers turned up, then it zooming into a letter.

I found this blog while looking for some pop up ideas, i found a good tutorial that shows you how to create pop up words.

Page 3-4 of the booklet. Not too sure about the colours for the type. I used the eyedropper tool and selected a few colours from the image. I tried to use some colours for the background, but it didn't work too well.
