When starting a new company what is the first thing you do? Do you take the time to lay a solid foundation? What layers are you adding to your foundation? Have you lost the vision because some expert told you that your idea was not solid enough? Does your business model change every time you hit a bump in the road? Are you so caught up in what your competitors are doing that you forget about your customers? Products and services may change, business models may change, but when the foundation is correctly laid your successors will always have a blueprint for success.
