Apple will auch das Galaxy S III verbieten lassen

2012-09-02T03:27:00.002-07:00

Samsung kündigt rechtliche Schritte an

2012-09-02T03:22:00.002-07:00

Sexiest Frauen in Indie-Bands

Bale Madrid! Spanish giants Real secure first option on Tottenham's £45m-rated winger

2012-09-02T03:17:00.001-07:00

Real Madrid have secured first option to buy Gareth Bale.

Bale signed a new four-year contract with Tottenham in June – but he has been the subject of constant transfer speculation during the last three years.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all been linked with the 23-year-old who has emerged as one of the Premier League’s outstanding talents. In the wake of Luka Modric’s transfer to Real last week, the clubs announced that they had formed a new alliance.

In a statement, it was revealed this will involve “players, coaches, best practices and commercial relationships”.

It is also thought that Jose Mourinho’s Real will now get the first chance to sign Bale should either Tottenham decide to cash in on their valuable asset or if the player asks to leave.

Jeff Zelevansky

The asking price for Bale will be around £45million but Spurs would have the chance to choose from Real’s talented squad in any deal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have confirmed that winger Aaron Lennon has signed a new contract, which commits him to the club until 2016.

The 25-year-old has played more than 230 matches in all competitions for Spurs since joining from hometown club Leeds in 2005.

He has started both Barclays Premier League matches for Andre Villas-Boas’ side this season. Lennon, who netted four times for Tottenham in all competitions, was part of England’s World Cup squad two years ago.

However, he did not figure in this summer’s European Championships.

There had been rumours in recent weeks that Lennon may be surplus to AVB’s requirements, but the new deal silences those claims.

"Heidi cheated on ME!" Seal accuses estranged wife of starting relationship with bodyguard BEFORE they split

2012-09-02T03:16:00.001-07:00

Seal has accused his estranged wife Heidi Klum of cheating on him with her bodyguard BEFORE they split up.

The singer has claimed the German supermodel, 39, was unfaithful while they were together after pictures emerged of Heidi and the employee cavorting on a beach.

Speaking to US website TMZ yesterday, London-born Seal, 49, said: “I’d have thought Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least wait until we separated before deciding to fornicate with the help.”

Last night Heidi told friends Seal’s claims were untrue. She told one pal her relationship with the bodyguard was “strictly professional”.

“It’s sad Seal would make excuses for their divorce when the real reason is looking at him in the mirror,” the friend added.

"Boyle's wife could get paralysed in a car accident ... then see if he does jokes": Katie Price joins furious Frankie backlash

2012-09-02T03:14:00.001-07:00

Model Katie Price has launched a scathing attack on under-fire comedian Frankie Boyle after he made a string of new sick jokes about the disabled.

Boyle, 40, caused outrage last week after a series of jibes on Twitter, including one about a British high jump Paralympic star being blown up by the Taliban.

Furious Katie, 34, who has disabled 10-year-old son Harvey with ex-football star Dwight Yorke, asked if the comic would be so insensitive about his own loved ones.

Campaigner: Katie with disabled son Harvey

She told the Sunday Mirror: “Boyle’s wife could have a car accident and be paralysed from the neck down – then we’ll see if he jokes about people with disabilities.

“It would certainly change his life forever and open his eyes before he makes jokes. It’s disgusting that he gets away with jokes about children like Harvey.”

Katie has been furious with Boyle since he made obscene jokes about Harvey, who suffers septo-optic dysplasia and severe autism, on TV two years ago.

The model is a campaigner for disabled children and raises funds for Harvey’s school Dorton House in Sevenoaks, Kent. She has also spoken out about the London 2012 Paralympics – calling for the Olympic flame to stay alight for both Olympic games in the future.

She said: “The Paralympics should have been the same and followed on from the Olympics. They shouldn’t have turned the Olympic torch off until both events were over.

“It just proves that people with disabilities are not accepted as equals.”

Katie said the lack of equality impacts on every area of life, including theme parks not catering for children with disabilities.

Absolute tweet: Frankie Boyle keeps causing controversy with his Twitter jibes

She added: “We’re all born the same way and we all die so everyone should be equal with what’s in between.”

More than 500 viewers complained after Boyle mocked Harvey on his Channel 4 show Tramadol Nights in December 2010, as Katie – also known as Jordan – was divorcing Peter Andre.

Boyle told his viewers: “Jordan and Peter Andre are still fighting over custody of Harvey. Eventually one of them will lose and have to keep him.”

In his latest Twitter rant he branded Saudi Arabian Paralympians “mainly thieves” and said a high jumper’s best performance was “Taliban assisted”.

It was particularly embarrassing to Channel 4 – which aired his show The Boyle Variety Performance on Monday – as it is the Paralympics broadcaster.

Gingerly Spice: Geri cools things with "intense" Brand as our amazing pics show exactly why Russell likes her

2012-09-02T03:13:00.000-07:00

Intense: Russell has proved a bit much for Geri
BBC

Relations between Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand are cooling... because he is too intense and intelligent for her.

Friends say the fledgling romance is likely to fizzle out within weeks.

They reveal that Brand, 37, has constantly put Geri, 40, at unease with his overwhelming spirituality, saying she just can’t keep up with his “exhausting intelligence”.

She was said to be “stunned” this week when he pitched up at her home in Highgate, North London, with a DVD of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads to watch with her.

“Things are already cooling off,” said the source. “Russell’s way into very intense spiritual readings that are just too much, even for Geri. He is way too intense, full stop. He turned up with Talking Heads... it went straight over Geri’s head.

“I don’t think she really fancies him, she’s just enjoying the attention. It will be yoga, sex and fizz, but it won’t last the distance. He’s off back to LA soon and she’s not planning on going with him.”

But one pal says her fling with Brand, divorced from singer Katy Perry earlier this year, has lifted her spirits after weeks feeling down because of her stalling career.

Geri has recorded a new album but has failed to get a deal. She has also failed to get a new reality TV show off the ground, with ITV2 and Sky turning her down.

The friend added: “Geri hoped her performance with the Spice Girls at the Olympics would open doors but it hasn’t. Russell’s taken her mind off it all.”

The pair, who hooked up at the Olympics closing ceremony, have been spotted on several dates.

When they first met up, Russell gushed on Twitter: “I’ve got a crush on Geri Halliwell.”

The bodycounts of onscreen killers

2012-09-01T04:42:00.002-07:00

Killer king: Jet Li in a scene from the film Fearless. Picture: Supplied

THE all-star cast of The Expendables 2 constitutes the biggest congregation of cinematic killers ever assembled for a major motion picture.

These kings of celluloid carnage have racked up body counts that make franchise serial killers such as Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Jigsaw look like lightweight librarians.

There is no other way of putting it. The gentlemen listed below have made a career out of getting away with murder in the name of entertainment.

Should such cold-blooded assassins be celebrated or castigated for their life's work?

Examine the numbers below and draw your own conclusions.

JET LI

DEATHS: 852

FILMS: 42

KILLS PER FILM: 20.2

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: The Mummy 3 (112); The Warlords (88); Kung Fu Cult Master (83)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: The Expendables (2); Fearless (1); Fist Of Legend (1)

-- FINAL SENTENCE:

The popular face of movie murder at the global box-office, the otherwise shy and retiring Mr Li has sent more to meet their maker than any other of his castmates. Also a clear leader on an average-kills-per-film basis. Put simply, if you're sharing a scene with Jet Li, odds are you are going to die.

DOLPH LUNDGREN

DEATHS: 679

FILMS: 43

KILLS PER FILM: 16.1

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: The Punisher (60); Bridge Of Dragons (53); Red Scorpion (48)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Johnny Mnemonic (2); Rocky IV (1); The Fat Slags (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: Though way past his prime - and some may argue there never was a prime - the swaggering Swede is still steadily piling up corpses in the land of straight-to-video. Lundgren will keep plying his trade in low-budget, no-script action fare until there are no more takers.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

DEATHS: 570

FILMS: 29

KILLS PER FILM: 19.6

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: Commando (102); True Lies (76); Total Recall (47)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Terminator 2 (1); Kindergarten Cop (1); Junior (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: Had he not carved out lucrative sidelines as both a mainstream figure of fun and a politician, Arnie would have gone close to topping this list. Now that he has finally returned to his chosen field, the blood will surely flow again.

SYLVESTER STALLONE

DEATHS: 472

FILMS: 42

KILLS PER FILM: 11.2

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: Rambo (123); Rambo III (95); Rambo II (78)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot! (1); Rocky Balboa (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: Take out all instalments from the Rambo saga (which account for nearly 70 per cent of his dirty work) and Sly has actually been one of the nicer nasty blokes of the action game. Doesn't take himself so seriously any more, which is appreciated by his fans.

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME

KILLS: 403

FILMS: 39

KILLS PER FILM: 10.3

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: Universal Soldier: Regeneration (39); Hard Target (31); Cyborg (25)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Dragon Eyes (2); Nowhere To Run (1); Kung Fu Panda 2 (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: The Muscles From Brussels has been in the carnage caper for well over two decades now, and like Lundgren, will show up for a home movie in your backyard if you have the cash. Never been the most subtle of slaughterers, as Expendables 2 all too forcefully reminds us.

CHUCK NORRIS

KILLS: 390

FILMS: 27

KILLS PER FILM: 14.4

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: Missing In Action (63); Missing In Action 3 (53); Delta Force (43)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Hellbound (2); Sidekicks (1); Breaker! Breaker! (1)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: At age 72, Chuck is rarely tempted to wave away his walking frame to waste some bad dudes. However, his torso-shredding track record (which stretches all the way back to Bruce Lee's Way of the Dragon in 1972) speaks for itself.

JASON STATHAM

KILLS: 323

FILMS: 28

KILLS PER FILM: 11.5

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: The Expendables (68); In the Name Of the King (60); Safe (32)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Crank (2); Revolver (1); The Bank Job (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: Very much the new killer on the block of the Expendables team, but never one to shy away from keeping the movie undertakers busy. Once Jase stops making Hollywood action pics and heads elsewhere for work, however, things could get really messy.

BRUCE WILLIS

KILLS: 226

FILMS: 61

KILLS PER FILM: 3.7

DEATHLIEST RELEASES: Last Man Standing (31); The Fifth Element (27); Die Hard 2 (24)

PRO-LIFE RELEASES: Armageddon (1); The Sixth Sense (0); Look Who's Talking (0)

-- FINAL SENTENCE: The Sunday school teacher of the bunch, Willis has always been more interested in what wisecrack will come after the killing, than the killing itself. Clearly enjoying all the post-shootout quippery in Expendables 2.

Geri-action hero back at the top

2012-09-01T04:41:00.002-07:00

Actor Dolph Lundgren is starring in The Expendables II. Picture: AFP/ Getty

AT THE height of his fame as a 1980s action star, Dolph Lundgren famously boasted he could "beat Mike Tyson".

Older and perhaps a little wiser, Lundgren now backs away from the claim. A little.

"I don't know where somebody would have got that from," the 54-year-old says, the faint hint of a Swedish accent peeking out from behind his American tones. "Especially in boxing. I mean, look - in a street fight, that's a different story."

The fact The Expendables 2 star thinks he has a chance outside the ring with a man who bites off his opponent's ears inside it speaks volumes about his legendary ego.

But then again, at 195cm tall with more than 100kg of muscle, he's still an intimidating man. In 2009, three masked burglars broke into his home, tied up and threatened his ex-wife Anette. They turned and fled after spotting Lundgren's photo on the wall.

Lundgren is in the midst of a flurry of activity, with 10 movies in various stages of production including another Universal Soldier film and a zombie movie called Battle of the Damned. "Zombies, robots and me, I call it," he laughs. "There was more action than I've done in any movie since the '80s."

He's also hosting a new cable TV series called Race to the Scene, where teams recreate stunts from such movies as Die Hard and Terminator. "I don't have to dive out of the window," he says. "I'm just talking to the people diving out the window."

This fresh rush of product stems from Sylvester Stallone's decision to cast him in the 2010 "geri-action" ensemble film The Expendables.

Stallone actually made the Swedish actor a star in 1985, casting him in Rocky IV. Lungren went on to star in such films as Masters of the Universe, The Punisher and the Universal Soldier franchise, but after moving to Spain in the 1990s with his wife and two daughters, he all but disappeared from mainstream view despite making endless movies with titles such as Defendor, Missionary Man and Command Performance.

"I was kind of stuck in DVD movies," he says. "Then suddenly, out of the blue (Stallone) calls me and says 'Ehhhh, Dolph, we got this script we want you to check out.' That was Expendables 1. For me it was a big comeback because I hadn't been in a theatrical release for almost 10 years."

One of the first films he made afterwards was Stash House, a low-budget thriller about a couple who buy a home and discover the walls are full of drugs. Lundgren plays an ageing killer who wants to get out of the business.

"It's the first time I've played a more mature action guy," he says. "In Expendables, OK, it's about a bunch of older guys kicking ass. This is more like an old guy who wants to retire."

Film review: The Expendables II

2012-09-01T04:40:00.002-07:00

Yu Nan, Terry Crews, Sylvester Stallone, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren in a scene from The Expendables II. Picture: AP

NOT so much a movie as a near-lethal shot of testosterone administered through the eyes, The Expendables 2 is chock-full of strange-looking men aged 50 and older.

All of of them going blah-blah-blah and blam-blam-blam in merry unison.

Best brace yourself for the scenes where lights are too bright or shirts have come off.

Many of these cinematic geriatrics look as if they've got their local plastic surgeon on speed-dial, and a jar of human-growth hormones in the fridge.

I may also add at this juncture that The Expendables 2 is a horrible motion picture that is horribly entertaining.

As opposed to the original The Expendables, which was just plain horrible.

The big diff this time is that everyone involved is in on the same joke, and they all tell it very well, indeed.

Sylvester Stallone (66 years old) and his posse of past-their-prime pulverisers - led by Chuck Norris (72), Arnold Schwarzenegger (65), Bruce Willis (57), Dolph Lundgren (54) and Jean-Claude Van Damme (just a kid at 51) - have a grand old time revisiting former gories.

Sorry, that should be glories.

So if you grew up basking in the bloody afterglow of these buffed-up besties doing their worst, The Expendables 2 will put you in a state of nostalgic nirvana.

The plot? Let's not go there. Stallone and his team of co-writers didn't.

All you need to know is that five tonnes of weapons-grade plutonium is about to be illegally acquired, and then sold on the open market to the richest nuclear terrorist.

Yep, that's right. The Expendables must save the world. To do so, they must stop the vicious villain who has almost finished splitting all the radioactive rocks he can find. Van Damme plays the role well, mustering all the camp cruelty he can for a character whose surname is - wouldn't you just know it? - Villain.

The set-piece skirmishes of The Expendables - which commence in Nepal and end in an Albanian airport terminal - are stratospherically over-the-top.

The death, destruction and violence on display are as subtle and shocking as a Taser down your trousers.

The best that can be said of these spectacularly stoo-pid scenes is that you can't look away from them. But my, oh my, you can laugh at them.

News is trickling in that Stallone and his gang of grinning reapers have sent membership forms to Steven Seagal, Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford for The Expendables 3. Never thought I'd be saying this, but bring it on.

Kris Humphries is being sued for allegedly giving a woman herpes

2012-09-01T04:38:00.001-07:00

KIM Kardashian's ex Kris Humphries is being sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes.

The 27-year-old basketball star – who split with ex-wife Kim Kardashian in October after just 72 days of marriage – is being sued for sexual battery by Kayla Goldberg, who alleges the sportsman gave her the sexually transmitted disease after they met up in August 2010.

According to the lawsuit, Kayla claims she met Kris in The Newsroom Cafe in Los Angeles and the pair went on to have unprotected sex in his room at the Thompson Hotel.

She is suing for unspecified damages, alleging that Kris knew he had the disease when they got together but didn't tell her.

But the basketball star has denied such allegations saying he has "never" given anyone herpes, and he is now said to be thinking about counter-suing Kayla following her claims.

A source close to the NBA star told RadarOnline: "Kris was recently accused by another woman of giving her herpes, this happened within the last two months.

"Kris tested negative for it though and for any other sexually transmitted disease and he is absolutely steadfast that he has never given anyone herpes. Kris plans on vigorously fighting the lawsuit filed against him by Kayla Goldberg and is considering counter-suing her for defamation."

Mike Tyson appeals to immigration authorities to grant visa for speaking engagement in Brisbane

2012-09-01T04:36:00.007-07:00

FORMER world heavyweight boxing champion and convicted rapist Mike Tyson has appealed to Australian immigration authorities to grant him a visa so he can appear at a speaking engagement in Brisbane in November.

The one time self-styled "Baddest man on the Planet" who was once suspended from the sport for biting off an opponent's ear, said yesterday his 1992 rape conviction had never prevented him from visiting any country and it would be his "misfortune" if he could not come to Brisbane.

He is due to appear at Mike Tyson's Day of the Champions at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 16 as part a program featuring motivational speakers.

Tyson acknowledged he must first pass a character test for visa applicants to Australia who are told on immigration documents they can not come into the country if they have "a substantial criminal record", are found "not to be of good character", "there is a significant risk that the person will engage in criminal conduct in Australia" or "represent a danger to the Australian community".

Should Iron Mike be welcomed in Brisbane? Tell us below

Yesterday during a video conference from Las Vegas, Tyson grew frustrated at questions about his conviction for raping beauty queen Desiree Washington in 1991.

"You shouldn't be worried about me," he said. "I'm coming over there with my family - I don't want to be on trial for my life to come over there."

Tyson's Australian agent, Max Markson said: "Mike was sentenced to six years (for rape), he served three and was released on good behaviour. It was 20 years ago.

"I think Australia welcomes people, we have a history of welcoming people. We forgive."

Tyson who said he went from being a wimpy kid to becoming the most "intimidating and ferocious fighter in the history of sports" was the youngest world heavyweight champion, winning his first title in 1986 at the age of 20.

He was jailed for rape between 1992 and 1995.

He bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear in a 1997 title fight and served nine months in prison in 1999 for assaulting two men in a road rage incident.

Tyson declared bankruptcy in 2003 despite having amassed $400 million in prizemoney.

He was asked about tweets he had recently sent to Shane Warne, but seemed confused about the cricket great's identity.

"Yeah, I know Shane," he said, "is Shane still fighting?

Doctor Who series seven

What time does it start?

Asylum Of The Daleks will begin at 7.20pm. It will end at 8.10pm. There will probably be a perceptible cheer across the nation heard around 19:00:01 and mild wincing sounds potentially building to a little light sobbing around 20:10.01.

Please tell us it will go on forever

Afraid not. It is thought that the first five episodes of the new series will be shown in September before a season break. The final seven episodes will air next spring, following the Christmas special ( pics of the filming of which can be seen here). We're in for the long haul with this one. How will we handle the anticipation?

So what's going to happen in Asylum Of The Daleks? There was a press screening the other week, wasn't there?

There was, but we don't fancy antagonising the entire world's Doctor Who fan brigade by revealing spoilers. Can you imagine you imagine the scale of the indignation and rage that would sweep the web? It'd make Davros seem tame by comparison.

If you're keen for a taster, check out the trailer below.

Tell us more stuff we need to know, please

Matt Smith is on his way back, naturally. But (hold it in, lads) Karen Gillan will soon be off , as will Arthur Darvill who plays Amy's husband Rory. By the way, does that mean Matt and Karen could date now?

Jenna-Louise Coleman will be filling Karen's shoes as the Doctor's new assistant, Clara Oswin. And Richard E Grant will also be getting involved .

But you can find out all about that by checking out: 'What? Why? When? And more importantly... WHO? 20 massive rumours and expectations for Doctor Who series 7'

Anything else?

Matt, Karen and Rory's rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody at Comic-Con 2012 in July was in keeping with the Daleks’ appreciation of harmony. But it is still fun.

Cute dad klaxon: Jay-Z and Blue Ivy are making our ovaries ache

2012-09-01T04:27:00.003-07:00

Tom Cruise should probably be quaking in his ~~not-at-all-built-up-to-create-the-illusion-of-height~~ boots right now, because it looks like he might not be the most extravagant dad in the world any more.

He has competition.

Baseball-cap-wearing competition.

Helicopter-owning competition.

Jay-Z took his six-month-old daughter Blue Ivy to New York City yesterday. And in true A-lister style, they arrived there in what our parents used to refer to as a "whirlygig". Which sounds more like a fairground ride than a mode of transport.

From now on, we're only dating people who own helicopters. Or hats

INFPhoto.com

And if that wasn't adorable enough, Jay-Z decided to dress his daughter up in a matching outfit to himself. We're not going to comment on the practicalities of putting an infant in all white instead of something wipe-clean and covered in yellow duck prints. Because to be honest, Jay-Z can do whatever Jay-Z wants to do.

And because it means we can make jokes like "things are all white". Which is hilarious. Obviously.

J-Lo wears a tiny bikini to play in the pool with her three, sorry, two children and lover

2012-09-01T04:23:00.007-07:00

Just because she's on a world tour with Enrique Iglesias (she's one lucky woman, we'd give anything to get access to his dressing room), doesn't mean J-Lo can't let her hair down and have some fun too.

She's just arrived in Miami and took the opportunity to cool off in her hotel pool with her four year old twins Max and Emme and her 25 year old dancer boyfriend Casper Smart.

His name is indeed very apt, because while we're on about ages, just have a look at the awesome body on the 42 year old lovely. Casper is certainly not daft.

It looks like the twins get on pretty well with their mum's boy toy too as they played happily together, splashing about in the pool and playing with water pistols, which we hear Casper lent them.

He's good with sharing his toys, still sleep with the light on though - you can't have everything.

Rihanna isn't very fussed about making friends with vegetarians

2012-09-01T04:21:00.001-07:00

If there's one thing that we know about Rihanna, it's that she doesn't care what people think about her.

(If there were two things that we knew about Rihanna, it would be that she doesn't care what people think about her and she quite likes yachts. But the latter point is entirely irrelevant in this story).

So when the singer stepped out in London last night with some friends at the Nozomi restaurant in Knightsbridge, nobody should have been too surprised to see her wearing something resemblant of two snakes on her feet, and half a cow around her bottom.

As a plus, it's a very short skirt, so it was probably only a very small cow

In other news, we just googled Nozomi to look at what Rihanna had for dinner and make our stomachs rumble, but it all sounds very healthy, and very expensive.

The dinner set menu costs upwards of £99 per person. Which is a lot of money. Especially when it basically just involves a starter of Edamame beans, a main of seared scallops, and a side dish of steamed spinach. Which doesn't sound particularly exciting.

So we're OK with the fact that Rihanna apparently forgot to invite us to join her.

Rihanna continues to behave as if she's on freshers week at Leicester university (or somewhere)

Gotcha

Riri did look quite happy afterwards though - she bounded out of the restaurant and played around with a stranger's Vespa in the middle of the street.

Tomorrow night she'll be posing with a traffic cone on top of her head.

"I definitely want kids": Nicole Scherzinger is planning a family with Lewis Hamilton... once she's finished her long to-do list

2012-09-01T04:19:00.001-07:00

New X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger says she and Tulisa clashed at first – admitting they took time to “warm” to each other.

Sources on the show insist they’re like “chalk and cheese” and will never be close friends.

The ex-Pussycat Dolls star, 34, admits: “It took her a second to warm to me, because we didn’t know each other.”

Nicole also risks falling out with her again after offering Tulisa advice – as Kelly Rowland did last year.

Despite the fact Tulisa has a successful solo career, Nicole offered to show her how to be confident on stage.

Nic said: “She’s used to being with two guys on stage. Now she’s solo which is great, and I’ve been through that.

“The one place I feel more comfortable than anywhere else is on stage. So I said ‘I’ll help you with that’.”

Advice: Fellow X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos

Speaking from Dubai during her Judges Houses stage of X Factor, Nicole also said she wants babies with her F1 driver love Lewis Hamilton.

“Down the line, I definitely want kids. Family is so important.

“But I have stuff to do first. A couple of world tours, albums, movies... save a couple of countries, then I’ll do it.”

Nicole also revealed she had been totally blown away by fellow judge Gary Barlow calling him a “Grade A human”.

She added: “I thought I was something special until this show. I thought fans were waving at me but they just knocked me aside to get pictures of Gary.

“He’ll be knighted. Absolutely, he’s going to be knighted.”

There are a couple of (hot) reasons you may want to watch X Factor

2012-09-01T04:18:00.001-07:00

OK, so we've not reached the stage of X Factor yet where it's entirely necessary to give up your social life. It's still possible to watch the auditions as you're getting ready, having a light snack (big dinners and sexy dresses don't mix) and whacking the slap on and still make it out in time to knock back a few glasses of plonk. We are aware that's probably a bit of a polite number.

But, if there are any single ladies staying in by themselves tonight... or any attached ones for that matter... or any men that like men, you have a couple of treats to keep you company on tonight's X Factor show. (Check out the other notable auditions so far here).

The first comes in the most delicious shape of 23 year old Jake from Scunthorpe. Doesn't sound too glam we know, but he's a... lifeguard.

Can Jake save X Factor? Who knows, but he can give us mouth to mouth anyday

We're not sure what it is about that occupation, but it's basically a very potent aphrodisiac. Perhaps it's the whole saving other people's lives thing, or the lack of clothes, but lifeguards are hot and that's that.

The ladies in the audience during Jake's audition seem to agree too. His performance of Kings of Leon's, Use Somebody, sends them into screamsville and Tulisa gets her knickers in a tiny twist as well.

“Jake, the lifeguard, I’m quite excited by that audition and the ladies seem to absolutely love you,” she comments after.

He's a hit with Gary too – who is every bit the modern man and clearly appreciate a fellow male.

“Jake I thought that was great, I love your voice, I love your image, I thought it was a great song choice for your audition today, you were fantastic well done,” he says.

The second dish of the evening comes served up in a tasty package named Joseph. He's 26 and comes from Wolverhampton. He's particularly good with his tools. Because he sells them.

The arms, the arms, the arms (that we're imagining around us)

Ken McKay Thames TV

Joseph is also totally dedicated to his four year old son Kian and is taking a shot at the X Factor to try and give him a better life.

“When I look at him he just lights up my life,” he says. “Being a father is the best thing ever, the first time I laid eyes on him for some reason something inside of me just changed, my whole perspective on life changed completely.”

Yeah, we're sold too. And his rendition of Led Zepellin's Whole Lotta Love, sells him to the judges.

Tulisa exclaims: “Joseph oh my god. What a voice! What a tone you have. I think Gary’s gonna start getting jealous because you’re gonna be stealing all of the female attention.”

Jel or not, Gary likes what he gears: “Just absolutely awesome, what a great voice, I really enjoyed that!”

And even the terribly hard to please Mel B is a fan: “You smashed it! You’re really hot, you’ve got great tattoos, and you smash things up with tools, and then you sing…done!”

We're not the only ones that are suckers for a fittie then.

COCK-A-HOOP ... new QPR siging Stephane Mbia

QPR last night snapped up Marseille midfielder Stephane Mbia in a £4.5million deal.

The Cameroon star, 26, signed a two-year contract after undergoing a medical.

The switch was completed just as Joey Barton’s loan move to the French club was confirmed.

Barton, 29, become an outcast at Rangers after being banned for 12 matches for his red card and red mist at Manchester City on the final day of last season.

He took part in a light training session with the Marseille squad yesterday morning after having his medical.

Barton tweeted: “Once the ink is dry, I can immerse myself in the culture, learn the language and just play football. That is my dream.”

Rangers boss Mark Hughes made Mbia his 12th signing of the summer.

But Sparky’s move for Tottenham defender Michael Dawson collapsed.

QPR striker JAY BOTHROYD has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until January.

Essien is back for Mourinho

2012-09-01T04:12:00.000-07:00

REAL HAPPY ... Essien is rejoining Mourinho

MICHAEL ESSIEN will link up with Jose Mourinho again after completing a season-long loan move to Real Madrid.

The Ghanaian had been linked with Everton after being left out of the Chelsea squad that lost 4-1 to Atletico Madrid in last night’s European Super Cup.

But a sensational last-minute swoop means he will be re-united with ex-Blues chief Mourinho at the Bernabeu seven years after he signed him from Lyon for £24m.

Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo confirmed before kick-off in Monaco that 29-year-old Essien was hoping to seal a temporary switch away from Stamford Bridge.

And after West Ham agreed to take Yossi Benayoun on a season-long loan, Essien was also given the green light to seal his move to La Liga.

Essien’s switch means Chelsea have shipped four players out on loan in the last 24 hours. Gael Kakuta, Nathaniel Chalobah and Thorgan Hazard will also start the season away from Stamford Bridge.

Centre-half Chalobah, 17, has linked up with former Blues favourite Gianfranco Zola at Watford until the end of the year.

Chalobah only signed a professional contract at Stamford Bridge six months ago.

French winger Kakuta, 21, joined Vitesse Arnhem for his fourth loan spell in two years after previously spending time at Fulham, Bolton and Dijon.

Playmaker Hazard, the 19-year-old younger brother of £32m midfielder Eden, has joined Belgian minnows Zulte Waregem.

The latest deals mean the European champions now have a staggering TWENTY-TWO players out on loan. They include senior internationals Kevin De Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois and Romelu Lukaku as well as England Under-21 star Josh McEachran.

Spurs land Dempsey and Lloris

2012-09-01T04:10:00.002-07:00

OFF HUGO ... Spurs land Lloris

SPURS grabbed Hugo Lloris and stole Clint Dempsey from under Liverpool’s noses in a sensational deadline night double hit.

But they saw a club record £22million swoop for Porto playmaker Joao Moutinho collapse at the 11th hour.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy left it typically late as he snapped up Lyon keeper Lloris in a deal worth £12m — before completing an amazing £6m smash-and-grab raid for Fulham’s Dempsey.

The American, who snubbed a move to Aston Villa yesterday morning, had his heart set on going to Anfield.

But the Reds offered only £3m for the attacking midfielder, who scored 23 goals in all competitions last season.

So Dempsey, 29, signed a three-year deal after arriving at Tottenham’s Essex training base at 9.30pm last night.

He will link up with his former Fulham team-mate Mousa Dembele, who joined Spurs in a £15m switch earlier this week.

French international Lloris, 25, has agreed a four-year contract at White Hart Lane — where he will be the long-term successor to current first-choice Brad Friedel.

Tottenham will pay Lyon an initial £8m, with the rest in add-ons.

The transfer was agreed despite Lyon president Jean-Michael Aulas blasting Levy’s conduct in the negotiations.

He said: “Agreements have not been respected.”

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas also wanted Moutinho as a replacement for Luka Modric, who joined Real Madrid in a £30m deal this week.

But despite the clubs agreeing a fee, the deal collapsed over personal terms. The player announced last night he was staying in Portugal.

Rihanna wants role in Scarface remake

Scarface remake ... Rihanna

ALL the hours Rihanna has dedicated to tear-ups have finally paid off.

The singer is after a part in a remake of her favourite film Scarface.

She wants the role of hard-partying Elvira Hancock, originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer, who she has described as having “ridiculous swagger”.

Universal Pictures are developing a new take on the Al Pacino classic, with a Tony Montana-style drug dealer in the 21st Century.

A source said: “Rihanna loves Scarface. Some of her music videos have been based on Michelle’s character, Elvira.

"She knows all the words and even has her walk perfected.”

Daniel Craig: Austin Powers ruined jokes for James Bond

2012-09-01T04:04:00.000-07:00

He's back ... Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall

JAMES Bond star Daniel Craig reckons Austin Powers has ruined the 007 franchise.

The actor, 44 — who has played the British spy in three films — believes the spoof series starring Mike Myers made it impossible to have jokes in the real thing because it parodied the movies too much.

He said: “Austin Powers f***** it. By the time we did Casino Royale, the Mike Myers spoof had blown every joke apart.

“We were in a situation where you couldn't send things up. It had gone so far post-modern it wasn't funny anymore."

However, he does believe a sense of humour is very important to the Bond stories throughout the decades.

A few jokes too far? ... Mike Myers in Austin Powers

He told Esquire magazine: "I think what's always fantastic about the Bond stories - and they have retained it, though they might have lost it for a while - is that there's always a darkness involved, but it's a darkness with a sense of humour.

"A black humour. It's about danger, but good danger, because you're in the hands of somebody who's saying, 'F*** you' to risk and, 'F*** you' to dying."

The latest film, Skyfall, which was shot predominantly in London, hits screens in November.
