Not a great launch view was a really high launch and more westward than optimum for general viewing purposes. Booster returned to the drone ship OCISLU off the coast of MX. Launch from VSFB, CA Falcon 9. The sound is always the most fascinating, compared to launch time, and the time when the rocket sounds are audible for those several miles away. This was taken, maybe, about 8 miles inland from the launch pad, as the crow flies. Booster landed off MX on drone ship OCISLU.

Bonehead - Go That Way

By: Michael D Tobin 011426

Investor’s Log: Sector Sweep Complete

I searched across bio-pharma, energy, rare earths, infrastructure, and space — hoping to find a company without dilution scars. But every “clean” candidate had deeper rot: no revenue, no contracts, no visibility. The only one that showed signs of healing was RDW. Dilution? Yes. But solvable. Backlog? Real. Manufacturing? Domestic. Defense adjacency? Strong.

RKLB had already earned its seat — now RDW joins the cockpit.

This isn’t blind optimism. It’s tactical positioning. I didn’t choose perfection. I chose the least-bad structural risk with the highest asymmetry.

Now the ship is ready. Two engines. One mission.

Captain Lookout Guy turns to Bonehead, the alien helmsman, and points toward the stars.

“Bonehead… go that way. Warp speed.”

(((Jan 15 UPDATE: What Trump actually said (based on sourced reporting)

“I would like to make a deal, you know, the easy way. But if we don’t do it the easy way, we’re going to do it the hard way.” https://www.cnbc.com/2026/01/09/trump-greenland-military-denmark-nato.html?utm_source=copilot.com

“We are going to do something on Greenland whether they like it or not.”
He said the U.S. must act or Russia/China will take over Greenland, and he won’t allow that. https://www.dw.com/en/trump-says-us-will-take-greenland-the-easy-way-or-hard-way/a-75457869?utm_source=copilot.com

Bloomberg reports he said he’s willing to secure Greenland “the hard way” if authorities won’t cut a deal. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-01-09/trump-says-he-ll-get-deal-on-greenland-easy-way-or-hard-way?utm_source=copilot.com )))

You may not believe me, but all this stuff about "taking over Greenland" (the media are the only ones using that term) is all a bunch of media hype. They are merely discussing new and modern means to achieve what they began during WW2 between the Denmark government and our allies, and nobody has any plans to change anything. I am always having to find stuff just because people just don't know. So tiresome 😇. Everybody knows Greenland is a natural fortress against attack from the whole Atlantic and Europe in different directions. The record already shows that Europe has to be protected from themselves. HELLOOO. Look at the map. It's a military and a geographical fact. Had Germany controlled Greenland like they wanted (and they died trying), England and the UK would be speaking German. And if former Soviet Russia had control like they wanted, we would be speaking Russian. That's all there is to that, as Forest Gump would say.

But seriously. I saw the following quote from US VP JD Vance on Greenland, and it's all I could really stand after over a year of mainstream media hype, which has made it their number one business, bringing up old common knowledge for the sake of creating political and societal chaos, literally.

So, here you go. Here is just another great reminder of who's who and what's what. I'll just close on my article source-of-choice as a historical reference to Greenland and global security from as far back as WW2. And further, I will share VP Vance's statement as seen in today's social media page of US President Donald J Trump. And finally, I will have a video from BBC YouTube titled, "US-Venezuela: Russian-flagged tanker seized by US military" BBC News (Latest was in the North Atlantic Ocean between the nation of Iceland and the UK).

When U.S. Troops Fought Nazis in the Arctic: The Forgotten Battle for Greenland Military.com | By Allen Frazier Published October 13, 2025 at 2:47pm ET When Nazi Germany overran Denmark in April 1940, the Danish colony of Greenland was suddenly cut off from its government. Under an April 9, 1941, defense agreement, the United States assumed responsibility for Greenland’s security. The pact led to one of America’s earliest overseas deployments of World War II—months before Pearl Harbor—as U.S. forces built bases, guarded resource mines, and waged a covert campaign against German weather stations along Greenland’s coast. 👈 clik for the whole article.

By: Michael D Tobin

Jan 2, 2026

Join me as I capture the thrilling moments of SpaceX's first launch of the year from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Experience the anticipation as the Falcon 9 rocket takes off for the Italian Space Agency and their Ministry of Defense, and stay tuned for the sonic boom that follows! I share my live observations from ten miles east of the launch site, including details about the booster’s impressive history of 21 successful launches and its descent back to the pad. This was the 21st flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-7, CRS-29, PACE, Transporter-10, EarthCARE, NROL-186, Transporter-13, TRACERS, NROL-48, and 11 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

There is the possibility that residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, but what residents experience will depend on weather and other conditions. You'll hear my thoughts on the fairings and what happens to them post-launch, all while enjoying the stunning visuals of the night sky. This episode is a must-listen for space enthusiasts and curious minds alike!

Quiet Accumulators – The Fuse Beneath the Float
Most IPOs flash hot, then fade.
They ride momentum, not mission.
But this one was different.
Starfighters Space Inc. (FJET) uplisted with lean operations, a rare aerospace asset, and a service model already in motion.
Not vaporware. Not hype.
Just a fuse waiting for ignition.
While the crowd chased volatility, we mapped the demand curve.
Defense, research, and payload logistics were already bending upward.
The float was thin, but the backlog was thick.
This wasn’t just a ticker pop — it was a transition to scale.
And when the fuse lit, profitability wasn’t a hope.
It was a trajectory.
We didn’t chase the chart.
We positioned before the ignition.
Because Quiet Accumulators don’t follow noise —
They map the fuse beneath the float.

Quiet Accumulators — Issue #4: The Space Economy Ledger

By: Michael D Tobin

ENGINEER:

“Look at this — the global space market just crossed $613 billion. The U.S. slice is about $142 billion, only half a percent of GDP, but it’s growing. That’s proof space is becoming real business.”

CONTROLLER:

“And don’t forget cadence. Launches are hitting records. Reusable rockets keep costs down, but every flight still needs FAA approval. Licenses are the notes, reentries the rests. Without rhythm, there’s chaos.”

ANALYST:

“Government budgets are flat this year, stuck at last year’s levels. That means commercial players carry the momentum. They’re the ones turning launches into contracts.”

OBSERVER:

“Satellites aren’t just selling pictures anymore. They’re selling insights. Subscriptions, not snapshots. That’s where steady revenue lives. And biotechs are growing in microgravity — for the benefit of mankind.”

ENGINEER:

“So the lesson is simple. For new traders: watch cadence and contracts. For seasoned investors: avoid hype, track who turns pixels into profits.”

CONTROLLER:

“Flat funding tests faith. Cadence rewards craft. That’s our ledger.”

Jamaica’s Hurricane Melissa - "What's Old Is What's New" - Miracles Happen

Title: Jamaica’s Hurricane Melissa - "What's Old Is What's New" Miracles Happen

By: Michael D Tobin

Oct 25-2025

Microsoft Copilot AI Inquiry based on my parameters, EDITED by my fine editorial skills. I've spent two days researching, and it's mind-boggling. My main point is that after Monday, Oct 26, 2025, Jamaica will be a different country in magnanomous ways. But as the old 1978 commercial says, "What's Old Is What's New".

(UPDATE: Here is the best source I've seen for a great look at how some are faring and preparing 102625 This man is a tour boat owner and owns several boats, but could only remove his smaller ones to hopeful safety. This video is from today and he has another more detailed at the harbor from yesterday)

ORIGINAL LIVING_ADVENTURES

In Jamaica, rivers like the Rio Cobre, Black River and Yallahs River are at risk of overflowing, potentially mimicking ancient flood paths.

Woody Canyon, the legacy scar of the 1692 earthquake, may channel runoff in unpredictable ways. Same path Melissa will go up. I've been researching for hours, it's amazing, but my past mission trip in 1990 sparked my interest very heavily. Three rivers (part of Ocho Rios, an 8-river region in eastern Jamaica) are literally roads that were rivers, but were literally swallowed up by Jamaica's infamous 1692 earthquake. All of eastern Jamaica was different the next day. Nobody in the media or print has yet to mention the severity comparison, but I remember a pastor telling me of that earthquake when I asked him how it is that giant trees can be sustained on cliff sides, standing straight hundreds of feet high, without falling, as we were driving up to Ocho Rios up the long canyon road in the country that used to be one of the three rivers that the earth swallowed up. The drive up and down that road is another story that would be a comparable thrill as the Pennsylvania turnpike, but mindboggling in it's own Jamaica way. So my thoughts are that Jamaica will be absolutely different after this hurricane. A more than totally devastating event. Only a miracle can stop this. There's just too much, and the media can only cover what's at hand, but it is going to be bad. Freakout bad. And that is why I am covering this before, last minute, literally.

There’s something poetic about rivers that vanish. Something haunting (pre-Halloween) about a canyon that once carried water, swallowed whole by the earth in a single seismic breath. Jamaica remembers. And this week, as Hurricane Melissa stalls offshore with 30 inches of rain forecasted, the island’s memory stirs. Haloween or not, higher prayers to the one who created the heavens and earth, just may change things in a way no man can fathom. The stories are yet to unfold.

I’ve been tracking Melissa’s path not just as a weather event, but as a narrative event, but as an event that we'll soon see resilience of a people who’ve rebuilt before, but never this intense, except for the June 7, 1692 earthquake that swallowed three rivers and created a region-wide canyon covering a great portion of eastern Jamaica. The original name for those three rivers was called, The Rio Cobre River, once a proud artery flowing toward Port Royal, was taken into the earth during the 1692 earthquake. What remains is Woody Canyon, a geological scar and spiritual echo. And now, with Melissa’s slow-motion deluge pressing against Jamaica’s southeastern coast, there’s talk of ancient flood paths reactivating. Not permanently, but rivers remember, as we recently saw here in the California and Arizona deserts, where hundreds of years old dry river washes were refilled, devastating whole towns.

I visited Jamaica years ago on a Bible school missions trip. I didn’t study the maps then—I was just excited to be part of something purposeful. But now, looking back, I wish I had traced the terrain more closely. Kingston, Ocho Rios, the Palisadoes peninsula, where Norman Manley International Airport sits near the sunken ruins of Port Royal. These places aren’t just coordinates. They hold stories of seismic collapse, colonial arrogance, and spiritual endurance.

Courtesy Denis Phillips- Meteorologist, ABC TV, Tampa, FL

Melissa’s projected rainfall is staggering. Thirty inches. It’s the kind of saturation that overwhelms drainage systems, reactivates dormant gullies, and tests every inch of infrastructure. Rivers like the Black, Martha Brae, Rio Minho, and Yallahs will swell. Buff River and Plantain Garden River may overflow. And the Rio Cobre—what’s left of it—may mimic its ancient course, carving through Woody Canyon with renewed force.

Jamaica's Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) is trained for disaster response, with engineering units, airlift capabilities, and logistical coordination that rivals many larger nations. The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) has already begun staging supplies and issuing alerts. This is a professional response system—rooted in experience. And earlier today, as all this information is being recorded here on my blog, Jamaica has closed all its airports.

Still, the scale of recovery will demand more. Infrastructure repair, coastal reinforcement, and hydrological recalibration. That’s where companies like disaster recover and marine infrastructure companies are going to have to come in, as strategic partners with expertise in dredging capabilities, and emergency mobilization protocols. They are exactly the kind of aid that complements Jamaica’s own response. Whether it’s reinforcing ports, restoring riverbanks, or stabilizing canyon walls, the need will be diverse and urgent.

And let’s not forget the symbolic terrain. Jamaica is preparing to become a republic, shedding the last vestiges of British monarchy. Their 2024–2025 referendum will mark a constitutional shift, replacing King Charles III with a Jamaican head of state.

Melissa’s timing is uncanny. A storm is pressing against the island just as it prepares to redefine its identity. A deluge testing infrastructure just as Jamaica asserts its independence. It’s almost as if the island itself is saying, “We’ve survived worse. We’ll survive this, too.”

For readers of I Like Mike, this isn’t just a weather update. It’s a legacy moment. It’s a chance to reflect on how terrain, testimony, and resilience intersect. It’s a reminder that rivers may vanish, but memory doesn’t. That storms may stall, but recovery moves. That aid may arrive, but dignity remains.

So here’s to Jamaica—its rivers, its scars, its sovereignty, and its future as a new nation in so many ways, especially post-Hurricane Melissa. (I could have titled this, "Hell Hath No Fury Than Melissa's Scorn. But nah...). And here’s to the people who rebuild, not because they’re rescued, but because they remember. (Come Back To Jamaica!)

1978 Come Back To Jamaica commercial

How often has a hurricane similar to Melissa, worse or less, occurred historically?

Microsoft Copilot - Jamaica has faced dozens of hurricanes historically, but storms as intense and slow-moving as Hurricane Melissa are rare. Melissa could become the most powerful storm in Jamaica’s recorded history if it makes landfall as a Category 4. (READ THAT AGAIN).

Historical Hurricane Frequency in Jamaica

Why Melissa Is Unusual

Slow-moving storms like Melissa are rare and dangerous—they prolong exposure to wind and rain.

Jamaica has never recorded a direct landfall from a Category 4 or 5 hurricane, according to National Hurricane Center records dating back to 1850.

Melissa’s trajectory and stall pattern make it a “slow-motion disaster”, with multi-day flooding and landslide risks.

And yes, here’s to Mike. Because every time someone reads this blog, they’re saying I Like Mike. Even if a comedian once said she hated all men named Mike. I’ll take that friction and turn it into testimony. That’s what survivors do.

Further reading of great interest would be on Jamaica's history of their first Governor, former privateer/buckaneer and of pirates and such, but that would have been a whole different thing. In conclusion I would just say may Jamaica have favor with our Lord and Savior, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. I like to refer to him as, The Ancient Of Days. Look it up.

“By the way, if you click any of the curated links in this post, it helps support my work here on I Like Mike. No pressure—but Christmas is coming.”

A heartfelt note: I would like to pour out my heart just a tad. I have never had a good ol' great American Christmas in my life. I have also mentioned many times over the years of my involvement in the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Chaplaincy and Samaritan's Purse. I would love nothing more than to support them financially as opposed to only deploying with them to many hurricane sites, fires, and floods since 2003. They have paid my plane fare, fed me, and provided ground transport to do what they do. I don't concentrate on these things. I have mentioned them as testimony only. So, I am admonishing my readers to, instead of being critical, be an encouragement. A good friend of mine in disaster recovery likes to say, "Share if you care." That was some deep thinking there. The last leg of my life would be nice if it could be a little bit better, at least on this earth. What a shame to not love life and live it to its fullest regardless. If all who are reading this share this post, it may contribute to my first good Christmas for me, my children and my grandson simply from exposure. And It may even be a defining factor of starting up my podcast again with live capabilities and then, I will set up the whole social platform gammet other than Facebook, youtube and Rumble. Meanwhile I have crawled inside my proverbial dead horse to shelter me from the snow and elements. I need another horse. Who knows? It may be that the Lord may send me to Jamaica again, after 35 years since my first missions trip there, exactly where the eye of Hurricane Melissa is going to devastate. PLEASE SHARE like you do all those silly memes that aren't silly to you and your friends. Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

I was fortunate to have finished it without losing everything. That's the new AI for ya. Podcasters are dropping like flies, but I'm still here. The better news is that the next episode will be all dialed up. But going forward, with this new format, I feel much more confident that my podcast will be more effective for future indie and featured artists. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I CAN NOT CONTINUE UNLESS PEOPLE LIKE, SHARE, AND subscribe to my podcasts, blog, and YouTube. Clik those blogsite ad link$. Please note, I will no longer be posting to Spotify video and will begin again with YouTube as long as they don't give me crap about indie artist copyrights. If that happens, I will have to require files instead of using YouTube videos. All my podcasts will be heard on my YouTube and on Rumble. There's not much worse than being told by anti-Christ followers and insane political idealists, to shut up. What's worse, still, is how many people have no clue that they are being controlled and led off a cliff. I'm back...

Have you ever stumbled upon a podcast that not only entertains but challenges the status quo? Welcome to the 'Lookout Guy' podcast, where host Michael Tobin takes you on a journey through the 'Censored Files' series. Episode 1 is a bold declaration of defiance against the censorship that has plagued his content for over a decade.

Michael Tobin is not your ordinary podcaster. He's a man on a mission, determined to share the episodes that mainstream streaming platforms have tried to silence. These are the discussions on spirituality, social issues, and politics that were deemed too provocative, too potent, too much for the public ear. But now, thanks to Tobin's perseverance and editing prowess, these censored episodes are seeing the light of day.

The first episode of the 'Censored Files' series is a blend of commentary and music, a mixtape of ideas and melodies that will leave you pondering and humming long after you've listened. Tobin delves into the political intrigue surrounding Ukraine, offering a perspective that mainstream media often overlooks. He challenges listeners to seek the truth, to look beyond the headlines, and to understand the deeper narratives at play.

But it's not all politics and punditry. The 'Lookout Guy' podcast is also a celebration of indie music, showcasing indie artists from around the world. These are the tunes that don't always make it to the top of the mainstream charts but deserve a spot on your playlist. The episode features a mix of genres, from the soulful strumming of a guitar to the haunting melodies of a violin, each track telling its own story, each artist sharing a piece of their heart. This episode alone includes artists from Russia, Ecuador, Pakistan, and the Good ol' U.S.A..

All multi-award-winning writers, composers, conductors, vocalists, and instrumentalists.

As you listen to the 'Censored Files', you're not just a passive audience member; you're part of a movement. You're standing with those who believe in the freedom of expression, with those who fight for the stories and songs that are too often pushed aside. Michael Tobin invites you to join him in this audio rebellion, to be a 'lookout guy' in your own right, keeping an eye on the horizon for the truth that is yet to be told.

So, if you're ready for a podcast experience that's unlike any other, tune in to the 'Lookout Guy' podcast's 'Censored Files' series. It's time to listen to the episodes that were censored, to hear the music that was overlooked, and to join a community that values the power of uncensored voices. Are you ready to listen to what they didn't want you to hear?

OK, my killer readers, listeners, and now, watchers, of this podcast, The Lookout Guy Podcast. On these episodes of the Censored Files Series, I merely want to present to the listener and viewer of this show, the real reasons, why dozens of my episodes continue after roughly 14 years of livestreaming, to be censored, by three major streaming sites.

I can show you screenshots of their replies, but it all boils down to my content which is merely discussing current matters whether they be of a spiritual, social or political nature. It is ALL education, but unless you've been under a rock somewhere, you would know that this universal thing called the internet has become a large thorn in the flesh to those who know that we were all better off being too lazy to read a book or go to a local library back in the day.

I am thankful to have had back-up storage of all my shows and streams. All you need to know, really, is what content is on the show, and you can see why it gets censored. I mean, look at the titles. Since 2009, I have been harassed, by one or another; beginning in 2009, when I created my FB account, then youtube around 2010, and following around 2015 with Spreaker Audio, now owned by IHeartRadio. So, please enjoy all episodes of the new series, Censored Files, on the Lookout Guy Podcast, heard on Iheartradio once again, but this time, without the need for Spreaker. Also, TLOG can be seen and heard on Spotify For Podcasters, formally, AnchorFM, and wherever podcasts are, except Spreaker. I also still have my blog for when I have the time to catch up, on I Like Mike at www.michaeldtobin.blogspot.com .

From Feb 27, 2022 New Indie songs, Higher Above with Tracy Bickford and Imran Ahmed, Following Trails with An AN VEDI and Antonio Vergara, Better For Who with Gregg Wietstock, Heroes Dream with Ricky Davis and written by Jesse McAlister, Becoming with David Pollard and his band Cheering Tokyo and Imran Ahmed (Now called NKounter band with Imran Ahmed, David Pollard. and Chad Shipley') and a bonus track, Violin Monster with An Vedi.

And, this episode has 2 more bonus tracks/Video of Tracy Bickford and Imran Ahmed's 2 most recent releases since this censored archived episode was originally aired.

IOT: The Internet Of Things Common Access Coming To Satellite Phone Service

By: Michael D Tobin

The Lookout Guy V-Cast w/Michael D Tobin

+++Jan 10, 2024 update. Here is a video I took of the actual launch from Tuesday evening of Jan 7, 2024 (Not a bad end to the first week of the year). But here's one of my recent podcasts I did and you may go to the 1minute 27second mark into the show to see the launch. It was spectacular.+++

2024 NewYear n' New Indie Artist Videos and SpaceX Launch

IOT: The Internet Of Things - Satellite phone service is about to be wayyy cheaper and available thru your provider on regular cellphones without having to have a special phone.

From this link: https://www.androidauthority.com/starlink-satellite-phone-service-3375427/ SpaceX's Starlink plans to roll out its Direct to Cell satellite phone service starting in 2024. Texting will come first to the service, with voice and data to follow in 2025. Initial coverage will include the continental US, Hawaii, parts of Alaska, Puerto Rico, and US territorial waters. ... On the Starlink website, in the business tab, the company says its Direct to Cell satellite phone service will start rolling out in 2024. Texting will come first to the service, with voice and data to follow in 2025.

Once Direct to Cell is fully rolled out, it will “enable ubiquitous access to texting, calling, and browsing wherever you may be on land, lakes, or coastal waters,” according to Starlink. And it appears the service will work with Internet of Things (IoT) devices with common LTE standards. ...

What Are IoT Devices? Definition, Types, and 5 Most Popular for 2024

IoT is an umbrella term that refers to the billions of physical objects or “things” connected to the Internet, all collecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the Internet.

While IoT has been in existence since the 90s, recent advances in a number of different technologies have made it more practical, such as:

Access to affordable and reliable sensors
Increase in the availability of cloud computing platforms
Advances in machine learning and AI technologies.

IoT devices can range from small ordinary household cooking appliances to sophisticated industrial tools. Each IoT component has a Unique Identifier (UID) and they can also transmit data without the assistance of humans.

From this link: Starlink’s ‘Direct To Cell’ Service Will Beam Internet To Your Smartphone Anywhere In The World Unlike Apple’s satellite SOS connectivity feature that requires a special chip in its iPhones to make it work, Starlink’s service doesn’t have any such limitations. The Starlink Direct To Cell service only requires the user to have a device that supports LTE connectivity and stay subscribed to Starlink’s network carrier partners. Currently, Starlink is bringing the service to T-Mobile subscribers in the USA, Rogers subscribers in Canada, Optus subscribers in Australia and KDDI subscribers in Japan. It is also working with New Zealand’s One NZ and Switzerland’s Salt and there will be more partners across various countries in the future.

Additionally, subscribers will be able to access the Starlink cell phone service only on land, lakes and coastal waters. For oceans, Starlink has a maritime service with a separate subscription plan. It remains to be seen whether Starlink’s service includes the polar regions of the Arctic and Antarctic.

YES, a little surprise with yesterday's release of Alice Cooper's, White Line Frankenstein. Brand new song for truckers and one of today's features on this show is a trucker in Minnesota! Ricky Davis! Also, for the first time on my show, an up-and-coming sensational metal band, Treazon, is on the show! Also, Imran Ahmed with Nkounter with Imran, David Pollard and Chad Shipley, Another collaboration with Imran Ahmed and Tracy Bickford, as well as artist, Gregg Wietstock.

Following is from.BLABBERMOUTH.net : Alice Cooper is also on tour until end of October for Halloween of coarse.

ALICE COOPER Releases New Single 'White Line Frankenstein', Announces October 2023 U.S. Tour Dates July 19, 2023

Alice Cooper has released a new single, "White Line Frankenstein", from his upcoming album "Road", due out August 25 on earMUSIC.

"White Line Frankenstein" is built on a rocking riff as it goes into a memorable chorus, "They call me 'White Line Frankenstein'," leading into a trademark Tom Morello guitar solo, hot enough to burn rubber.

Alice Cooper White Line Frankenstein

"White Line Frankenstein is a monster that we created. It's a truck driver who's been out there a long time. He's the king of the road. He doesn't live in a house. He lives in that truck," Alice says. "In the song, this surreal tough guy is driving on white lines for his whole life. So, 'White Line Frankenstein' would be his CB handle. It's monstrous and definitely a stage song." ...

I just found out about this young group, Treazon, a couple days ago. Following is a demo song from their first upcoming album. A good friend who I almost met in person during the 2010 California Gubernatorial candidacy debates were going on, I had met personally a few candidates and a now mega star political podcaster, @RickAmato. But Chelene Nightingale, the record vote-holding of all previous CA Libertarian candidates, recently posted on her social media a demo song of her son's band, Treazon. So I was blown away by the song, Desperate Eyes. So after this broadcast I have a feeling the band will have their new lead singer, as I already forwarded their invitation to a similar genre friend's band, their youtube video in case they know of someone, mentioning the need for a new permanent first lead singer, (the lead in this demo is a guest. Interesting, right?). And they are already signed with their first of who knows how many or not, label. The following is their media page's song and full description:

Treazon: Desperate Eyes

Now signed to: https://blackwritsrecordsswe.bandcamp...

Treazon (US-KY) are a young Melodic Heavy Metal band from Glasgow, Kentucky.

The band are currently looking for a singer to record new material and play live shows.

They are influenced primarily by US Melodic Rock and Heavy Metal, FWOSHM, and French Heavy Metal. Their demo Victim of Treason will be released in 2023 and will include 3 songs; the band are already working on new material. Lineup: Dylan Nightingale - Guitars Brody Busser - Guitars, Bass, Drums, and Keyboards Craig Cairns (Guest) (Tailgunner, etc) - Singer Social Medias:

The following Indie artists are all great friends of mine, and only 3 of the 6 I haven't met personally yet but will this come first week of August coming up real soon, in Atlanta at the 5th annual International Singer Songwriters Association awards. Interestingly enough, the first in my line-up of all ahead, the new Indie superband collaboration of Nkounter, includes the 3 I have yet to meet, and include multi award winning Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Pakistan, Imran Ahmed with heavy metal's Project X, (who actually has collaborated with this whole following list of artists ahead, such as, Ricky Davis a gas trucker in Minnesota, Tracy Bickford a circuit Singer/Songwriter and multi award winning indie artist in Florida.) Nkounter, a fusion of Eastern Classical, metal and rock, also consists of multi award winning artists, David Pollard, Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, and Chad Shipley, Drums, both formally of the heavy metal band, Cheering Tokyo. Nkounter recently released their first album, self-titled, Nkounter, with 11 songs total, and from that I have in que, Media. And you may find the Nkounter audio playlist here: Nkounter on Boomplay .

And finally my good Southern California friend who we will actually be traveling with in a couple weeks to the International Singer Songwriter's Association awards in Atlanta, Gregg Wietstock, Bassist for the Christian band, 3 Days In The Grave. Gregg is multi award-winning, has collaborated with various major classic rock names, has many solo projects and records, and has his own Black Sabbath cover band, Wheels Of Confusion. Your best source for Greggs works and 3 Days In The Grave videos can be found here on youtube: Witzomania And his website has links to Gregg's latest right here: Gregg Wietstock In today's podcast we'll hear Greggs latest from last month, Om I'm Comin' Home.

Ricky Davis is a multiple award winning Singer/Songwriter/Instrumentalist and produces his own original videos and music, and his songs have been in a few major streaming series'. You can find his videos at this link: @rickydavis3677 and find his whole arson of songs at this link: Ricky Davis on Spotify

Ricky's songs on this episode of The Lookout Guy podcast are all brand new and released last month, and his latest this month of July, 2023, and are as follows: His latest, Big Brothers Watchin, When The Sun Goes Down, I Ain't Got That Right, and Legally Gray.

And the final leg of today's lin-up are 2 collaborations with my friend's, Imran Ahmed of Project X, and Tracy Bickford on vocals with their 2 latest releases from January and April this year, Deja Vu, and Without You. Imran may be found here: Imran Ahmed ProjectX on Spotify. And Tracy Bickford music here: Tracy Bickford on Spotify.

Please see all my podcast platforms and register/follow my show! And it's expensive have no idea after 16 years in podcasting and a previous 5 years in Christian radio, if I will be able to continue after next May, as I may have to switch finances away from podcasting to focus more on seeing my children who I haven't seen in years and now, my 5 year old Grandson who I haven't seen in 4 years. This episode features a story on a coming SpaceX launch of a space ship to monitor a space rock, that is going to be about a ten year mission according to the article, new Indie music from Ricky Davis, songs, Out Of The Basement and Just A Bad Dream. Then a quick bit on a day-old Forbes article on a world-famous hotelier, just dropping a whole San Francisco city block of a hotel, because of San Francisco's issue. THEN a song from Gregg Wietstock, bassist from 3 Days In The Grave, with one of his most recent solo projects, I Cracked My Eye. And I'll conclude with the last performance I've seen 3 Days In The Grave, from Feb this year. 3DITG is, Robert Tyler (lead vox/guitar), Gene Copley (drums), and Gregg Wietstock (bass). Articles: Owner of SF's Largest Hotel, the Hilton Union Square, Is Walking Away, Surrendering It to Lender , and ‘Golden Asteroid’ Mission Is Back On Track, Says NASA

I also briefly discussed how God has answere a few of my recent prayers, (and there's ALWAYS more yet to be dealt with, right?) And I opined about Park Hotels CEO Thomas J. Baltimore and the San Francisco hotel property he just dumped to the lenders.

On Prayer:

God answers prayers. I discussed with him a possibility of skirting California's and Federal fees and taxes, and petrol prices, while staying in my home state instead of running to a different state. I told God I want to stay and see the last drop of life in this state if I have to because I ain't running away. I tried Oregon and Virginia but those were out of pure venture and saw no need to make those moves permanent, way back before it was popular to go to Texas. This photo doesn't have anything to do with what Im getting at, but is just another weird internet thing I just turned on for a bit and am about to turn it off. It's one of the new Microsoft Edge upgrades. I just used it to make sure it's what I thought I had just purchased because the product is from Mexico and the label is in Spanish. But here's how the Lord has been answering my prayers past several years. It is an all-purpose finely powdered milk. Im about to save $200 a year just by using this for smoothies and coffee instead of 24 gallons of milk yearly and 24 bottles of creamer. If I didn't use this powdered creamer at all then I'll save another $40 but then I'd have to replace smoothies with some other food and I cannot imagine that. So far, I now live only 5 miles from work instead of 13 and my new wages/hrs actually lowered a bit but keep me in the same ballpark as I had before I moved, but in a more preferable location and less necessities and expenses, and in the long run I'll be ahead, and my food bill is equal to previous. It was a forward lateral move but will increase even more as my hrs become full-time. This is all on top of athe previous 7 years that already has been nothing short of a time of provision in the midst of famine, pestilence, drought and tyranny. And I even had to work part-time 16-20 hrs a week during 3 of those earlier months until a about 3 yrs of temp-work. I was just above rock bottom living on God's miraculous provision until the last 3 years working 50+ or - hrs per week. I took all I could get until I had to make a choice of being crippled by the time I retire in several more years. And that's when our new plan kicked in. God remembered some of my requests that I had given up on and forgot. If you are tired of being tossed and driven, maybe you can do what I did, and ask God for another plan, to make it happen? It takes dedication and sacrifice. But you get to see God do things you cannot see yourself succeeding in by yourself. Without God, you are really on your own. And that's no fun.

On The San Francisco Dump:

WOW! See what I mean? #sanfrancisco This article is harsh it says it all for the whole state's large cities' future. like San Diego and L.A. This is what I've been talking about past 5 years or so. This article is huge. They only owed 3/4 of a billion out of 1.56 billion $$ but they still dumped it. That's a disaster for SF. I hate to say it really, but it serves them right. From the article; "..."After much thought and consideration, we believe it is in the best interest for Park’s stockholders to materially reduce our current exposure to the San Francisco market," said Park Hotels CEO Thomas J. Baltimore in a statement. "Now more than ever, we believe San Francisco’s path to recovery remains clouded and elongated by major challenges, both old and new: record high office vacancy; concerns over street conditions; lower return to office than peer cities; and a weaker than expected citywide convention calendar through 2027 that will negatively impact business and leisure demand." ..."

Next up is Gregg Wietstock, this years nominee at ISSA for U.S. Male Songwriter, Male Emerging Artist and Male Single Of The Year. Gregg is a prolific singer, songwriter, vocalist and instrumentalist and mainly plays bass and guitar, is bassist/B/U VOX for the Christian rock band, 3 Days In The Grave with Lead Guitar/VOX Robert Tyler, and Drummer B/U VOX Gene Copley. I've been following this group since I met them at a Los Angeles music fest in 2018, going on 6 years now. And through Gregg, Robert and Gene, I met the online acquaintance of Imran Ahmed from Karachi, Pakistan!

And this year, among previous years, Imran, his wife Shaista and their daughter Zainab, are finalists for Promotion, Representation and Imran for International Male Rising Star. All together Robert, Gene and Gregg Wietstock of 3 Days In The Grave have collaborated in several songs with Imran, one of which I have qued, "Trapped Within," which also has Gregg as lead VOX, and that followed by a 3 Days In The Grave song with Main VOX/Lead Guitar Robert Tyler and Gene Coply on Drums, My Love For You!" Those 2 songs may be found on Bongo Boy Record's 2020 comp release of, Kryp 2 Knight Vol 1 for digital downloads at this link: https://bongoboyrecords.com/krypiiknight/ Also on that SAME comp cd, is Gregg Wietstock's song from his 2020 album Face To Face, is "Crushed With The Cross", Greggs first solo album, self-produced at the legendary Rock Zion Studios (which I was able to hang out there with 3DITG during one of their recordings a couple years ago). That will be followed by another solo cover single by Gregg, "Sing For The Common Man', ALSO on Bongo Boy Records! A 2020 comp cd, "Tribute To The Queen Of Country, Dolly Parton." Gregg writes on his website, https://greggwietstock.weebly.com/?fbclid=IwAR2joX7B_C1d7sdVfwa7yn5yEWk8f5VTnR1xre9WoGAIrqXpmO3SEvvVTZE

'Tribute To The Queen Of Country Music, Dolly Parton'
In the band, Wheels Of Confusion
a Black Sabbath Tribute band that I had the honor
of portraying the great Ozzy Osborne,
We had the crazy idea of submitting a Dolly P. song to
be featured on the Bongo Boy Tribute. We chose her song
"Sing For The Common Man"
We had the huge honor of it being accepted by
Monique Grimme at the famed record label.

And finally we will here Gregg Wietstock's latest single from this year, "Let The People Be Free!" And I will keep you updated on some upcoming announcements on Gregg, 3 Days In The Grave, Gary Pratt, Imran Ahmed and more who you've heard on The Lookout Guy Podcast along with more of Indies best from around the world. NOW let's go!
