I have been away for over a year. Okay maybe more than a year and there are so many reasons I stayed away from blogging. Where do I start from?
I will start with my health which had been the first reason I stopped writing here. Not going to go into details about that but I can truly say I am grateful for each day I wake up strong.
Second reason: I got reaaaaally tired of my hair. The things I had to do in order to retain length was starting to become a very tedious chore.I got fed up and annoyed at the effort I had to put into styling my hair and the fact that it would rebel and all my efforts would just go poof by mid-day.

Natural hair is a lot of work. Enough said.

So I got a relaxer....
There, I said it. I danced with the devil and I loved it. Still loving it.
No, I didn't make a mistake. I thought about it for days and decided it is what I want. So do I miss my kinky hair? Hmmm...sometimes but I am happy and my hair is so much easier to manage and that's what matters right?
Third reason, I wanted to do something different. Share other things than just hair. Beauty products, make up, lifestyle (maybe), so I have decided to start afresh with another blog on another platform because I messed up my template on blogger and i have absolutely no idea on how to fix it. So am taking the easy way out. Cheesy right? I know.
So the sad news is this will be the last post on this blog. And the good news is you can head over to my new site here for more posts.
Thank you all for taking the time to read what I have posted here previously. I hope I continue to inspire you in other areas apart from hair as well.
