I did this nails in pink color before and couldn't understand what i did not like, but when i try it with Sand Tropez Essie nail polish i start loving them! simple is always stylish... that is what i think...

Valentine's day nail art

Hello! I hope all of you having a great weekend! i have plenty of stuff to share, but still running out of time, so its just a quick post about my nails design for Valentine's Day. I wanted to make something different from red and white colors and here is what i came out with... i wonder if you would wear it on your nails or not... There is two options, first use just nail polish and second is use micro beads (bullions) for the design. As far as i am not the best painter with my left hand i went with micro beads .... they are my favorite for nail art.
I have one more my own idea for the Valentine's day nails, hopefully tomorrow i will feel good for making it! It seems my hubby bring some virus home, and now i am feeling little bit sick, but i am tough girl and i believe i will be healthy tomorrow.

Today i want to show you Julep Leighton. It is absolutely gorgeous pure silver color. Its bit of streaky, but i found out that after i apply top coat it getting better. What i love about this polish is rich texture, that it is really opaque and stays for a week in my nails. Also good think is they dry fast and it is free of toluene, DBP, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin.

Essie Super Bossa Nova

Super Bossa Nova is one more nail polish from Braziliant summer 2011 collection. It is very opaque and for the short nails one coat would be enough, i used 2 though... i apply most of nail polish in 2 coats... It has some shimmer and i loooove it! little sparkles make it so unique pink. It was hard to catch in my camera but shimmer has purplish blue color. This is a great color for pedicure!

What can i say about this polish? It is from Braziliant Summer 2011 collection. Juicy, fresh, happy and fun! I am wearing it now at my toes and it reminds me that summer time is almost there! Application is great, texture very rich and opaque, one coat was almost enough, it is very shiny... I think it would looks great in any nails! and it is definitely gives a good mood! i guess color therapy works for me! Pictures again in different light, so you can see how the color plays...

Essie Winter 2011 School of Hard Rocks Swatches

Hi, ladies, just want to share some pictures of Essie School of Hard Rocks. I love this color, texture is great, 2 coats are enough for full coverage, but in my nails it doesn't want to stay long... i have no idea why, but few days is maximum. May be i got lucky to get weird bottle... because normally Essie stays on my nails about a week or so... I hope none of you will have this issue, because color is gorgeous cream! its not too green and not too dark , it does not make you skin look pink, as some greens do... just perfect! and i don't know if any other brand has something similar... Let me know if you do...

My experience of having bad topcoat and how it helped to messed up my new manicure...

Hi, everybody! Normally i am not a big lover of bitching about things, but Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps powerful acrylic gel is total crap! I spend yesterday about an hour on my half moon nails and the last step was of course to apply the top coat. I put some decor in my nails and wanted to make sure it will stay. I did not use my Essie let it shine, as far as it is too thin and would not fix the decorations good. So i applied the Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps and here is the result... Ugly bubbles all over my nails+ it wasn't completely dry in a few hours, even after i used spray dryer 2 times... I am soooooo disappointed with this stuff, please do not buy it!

and here is the results thanks to this "Awesome" product!

By the way for this design i used Julep Leighton and Sally Hansen HD (it was from 4 little bottles set) purple color(do not have any name on it).
I love how the colors turned out together,i wish it could be other way to fix bubbles, than to start all over again...

Which is you favorite top coat ? and which one you will never buy again and why? i will be glad if you will share your experience with it!

Pink leopard nails

Good morning, girls! Today I want to share the picture of the nails which I did for my neighbor Tina few days ago. Usually she paints only her toe nails but this time i made her try to wear some nail polish in her nails. When i asked why she do not wear polish on her fingers, she said that her nails are not too good for it and that she does a lot of work with her hands. After i did her nails she realized that her nails not that bad,they have nice oval shape and for having cute nails it is not necessary to wear unhealthy acrylics. I saw her yesterday and she was so glad about painting the nails, she said she got lots of compliments at work and love them so much! I am so happy when i can make someone else happy!

Lets show some love to people around and do the nails!
Find a busy friend who need some personal girls time and make them nice nails, just for smile in their face and for feeling them better. Its such a joy when you can do something nice to the people you love! and don't forget to share your work in the comments!

So i made my ring fingers golden and all the others just simple black... After wearing it one day i update it to more funky look and made some fresh pink and gold polka dots... Essie Absolutely shore swatches and review

This polish is a beautiful minty pastel green. It is from Brazilliant collection. I love the color by itself a lot but the application wasn't the best. The first coat was very streaky, after second it was opaque, but still little bit streaky if you take not enough nail polish in the brush. If apply thin coats of polish it might take you 3-4 layers to get the color from the bottle. I appleyed first really thin coat and after thicker second coat of it and in the pictures you will see that it still wasn't perfect. So after 3rd layer it might look even. I would not recommend this color for people who have pink skin tone, because it will make it even more red. The verdict is nice opaque pale green color but the application is a bit tricky. In the pictures i have 2 layers of the polish.

Essie Sand Trope is lovely nude color. The name says a lot, it is really color of clean sand. This color is great for any season. My nails looks so fresh ,clean and healthy. Its great color for classic look when you do not want them be to much noticeable. It can be modern, elegant or professional. For my pictures i applied 2 coats of the polish without any top coat. So you can see the real color. About the application, it wasn't anything good or bad about it, 2 layers made it opaque. Its just fine for me =) Again pictures in different light, so you can how the color plays...

Essie Nice is nice swatches and review

During this month i decide to make swatches of my nail polishes, so this week i will show you Essie and i want to start from Nice is Nice. This nail polish was from spring 2011 French affair collection. Its a beautiful cream in cool lavender shade. This polish looks really bright and fresh in the nails , even that it is a cool hue. The application was very smooth, the brush is thin and easy to control. This color is very feminine and will looks great in lighter skin tone and in the darker. I think in the darker it would look even more bright. In Essie winter collection 2012 there is color very close to Nice is Nice and it called Bangle Jangle.
For my pictures i applied 2 coats of nail polish, it was enough for me , but someone might want to apply 3 coats of it. I personally love this color and i will definitely wear it this spring. Soft lilac is one of the nail polish color trends this spring. I took the pictures in the different light, so you can see how color changes in the light.

Nail art Pastel Polka Dots

Not so far ago i bought dotting tools from Born Pretty store and this nails was a first try of the tools.

Please don't judge me too much! I will get better! I paint all my nails but pink with Essie nail polish, the pink one - is Ulta. And i made pink and beige nails matte. I will make swatches for the nail polish later.
