Readers, I am smitten!!!

I have found my newest favorite toy!!

The Gorillamobile for 3G/3GS is a camera tripod that clips onto your phone, making an amazing device even more AMAZING!!!

The product comes with an iPhone case, a universal camera adaptor, removable adhesive clips, and the tripod with movable, bendable legs with grips on the bottom!

You simple put your iPhone into the case, attach the tripod, and you're ready to go!

When this product arrived, I didn't take my phone out of it for the first week!

There are so many uses for this awesome product!! Here are just a few things I used it for:

To hold my phone while I viewed recipes on it and cooked
I wrapped it around the passenger front handle bar in my car, so I could read my digital book, hands free!
As the camera tripod, of course, which it was originally intended to be! I downloaded the FREE GorillaCam App (I will touch on this later), and I love the quality of pictures I am able to take with it!
When my kids and I watch YouTube videos for fun, I place the tripod in the middle of the table, and no one is fighting over their inability to see the screen!
I wrapped it around the handlebar of my stroller, and used Google Maps to show me where the closest coffee house is, just like in this picture on the Gorilla Mobile site:

I had the sheer pleasure of reviewing a wonderful modern detective book by Susan May Warren!

PJ Sugar is the main character in the story, and she is one of those women that everyone can relate to. She is always over extending herself, she is always on the cusp of something big, and she is a magnet to chaos. Just when I think things can't get any crazier in my own life, it's a bit of a relief to pick up Warren's new novel, and see what PJ has gotten herself into!

Aerobie Sport Toys!

The great people at Aerobie are responsible for HOURS of fun that my children and I have enjoyed outdoors this winter!
They were so generous to send us many of their incredible aerodynamic sport toys! We recieved the following:

The Superdisc
The Aerospin YoYo
The Skylighter
The Proring
The Aerobie Rocket Football
The Superdisc is a great alternative to a frisbee. I cannot throw a frisbee any distance at all. But myself and all of my kids can really throw this! The edges are comfy, so it's easy for little hands, too! My 9 year old daughter is a yo-yo enthusiast. She enjoys trying to learn new tricks, and showing them to the family. The Aerospin is a MUST-HAVE for yo-yo fans in your family! The edges are rubber, so it can easily bounce off the floor, or do the "walk the dog" trip in ease! It also comes apart, and the two sides unscrew, so you can make it as loose or as tight as you want. My 3 year old snagged the yo-yo at one point, and got it tangled up. I unscrewed the sides, and untangled it before my 9 year old knew. Whew! That was close. :)

I love this one. The Skylighter is a wonderful toy for night time! We had a great time throwing this in our backyard until I almost broke our picnic table, tripping over it! Maybe we'll play this in an empty field next time...

It is really pretty the way it lights up and swivels when you throw it in the dark!!

The Aeorbie ProRing is amazing. It is very soft rubber, so it's easy to throw and catch. This ring can fly soooooooooooo far! This is the ring that was used for the Guinness World Record for the farthest throw (1,333 feet!)! This is also the ring that ended up on the golf course when my daughter threw it a little bit too far! Oops!

The Aerobie Football has two fins in the back that make it spiral like crazy! It is a small football, so even my 3 year old can throw it! It is soft to catch, easy to throw, and fun to watch it fly!!

CONCEPTUAL MATH!! Most of you know that I homeschool my 4 children. Math is one of the most important subjects, in my mind. We all use math on a daily baiss, no matter what we are doing! My kids take part in each aspect of our day- from cooking, to shopping, to budgeting... because it helps them hone their math skills! When I come across a game or enrichment activity that makes their learning even more fun, I am thrilled!

I am absolutely ecstatic over the company Conceptual Math Media, because they have taken very important math principles, and created fun games that help to teach the concepts!

Tiny Tongs have changed mealtimes for babies!!

I have four children, and I well remember how a spoon, in the hands of a baby, turns into a giant shovel with which to make the morsels on their plate airborn!!

And I also remember how many times they would attempt to use a fork, and poke their gums or lips with it. That's a quick way to ruin their mealtime!

The Slanket

As I write this review, I am in Tennessee visiting my parents, watching it snow outside! This is a PERFECT night for my SLANKET!!

Joey Junior Products Purse Organizers! - ENDED!

I've literally never met a woman who claims to keep an organized purse. But with Joey Junior Products, it's very difficult NOT to have an organized purse!

When I first heard of this product, I instantly knew I wanted to try it out. Because if there is a company out there that can force MY purse to be organized, it will work for ANYONE.

Perhaps you think I am exaggerating. Allow me to prove my point:

Have you ever shown up to a real estate closing, only to find a pair of toddler underwear in your purse? I have.
Have you ever pulled out a pen covered in cracker crumbs which flew all over the person asking for the pen? I have.
Have you ever been eyed very suspiciously at a round table business meeting becasue you accidentally pulled out a ziplock baggie of dried leaf tea, which looks a little too much like a recreational drug?? I have.

And so now you know, As a mother of 4 children, who multitasks a little too much, I REALLY needed Joey Junior Purse Organizers in my life!

Below is the organizer they sent me... I LOVE Zebra print!!

What I love about the purse organizers:

They fit multiple sizes of purses. My favorite purses range very much in size. I can customize the purse organizer to fit the purse I am carrying, thanks to the velcro closure!
I love the key chain fob. I can simply clip my keychain on the fob, and I will find my keys in an instant!
All of the pockets crate a place for everything. I carry everything from medicines to natural sweeteners to business cards, to make up, to my wallet and sunglasses in my purse! And now, it all has it's own place!
Style! Many times things that are functional aren't overly attractive! These organizers are BOTH!

And I LOVE the purse hangers because I have read SO many articles about how many germs we sit our purses in when we place them on the floor... So I have struggle ever since then to keep my bag off the floor. These purse hangers are SO CUTE, it makes it very simple to keep my bag off the floor no matter where I am!

My 11 year old son LOVES to build. He has an engineer mind. He is always disassembling things around the house, just so he can see what makes them work. I have found remote controls, DVD players, toys... anything electrical... in pieces. He just loves to see how the mechanics work. Thankfully, he is very good at repairing his subjects.

For this reason, he loves K'Nex and anything similar to them. He can build anything his heart desires with his enormous K'Nex set. That is why he is going to be THRILLED with his new UberArc set he is getting for Christmas! My husband and I have played with it, so that I could write the review. But I have to say, the UberArc passes the K'Nex set by a mile. I love the blueprints that come with it! It really offers a taste of engineering- and even architecture to its audience. The pieces are easily managable- the perfect size for children OR grown ups!

UberStix offers many different sets, at all different skill levels. We got the largest set for my son, because we know it is the one that will present a challenge for him.

One of the other options available on the UberStix website is the Sailboat! Children are encouraged to upcycle everyday items in order to finish building the boat!

Building toys are great for hand-eye coordination, planning, creativity, persistance, and even patience! They also are very rewarding, allowing children to see that when they stick to a project with diligence, they will be rewarded in the end!

ZHUZHU PETS!!!!!! - ENDED!

The moment you've all been waiting for....

ZHUZHU PETS!!!

You can't turn on the TV, the radio, open the newspaper, or read your computer home page without seeing the words Zhu Zhu Pets! It is by far the hottest toy for this season! My children were given a full set to review, which included two hamsters, a hamster ball, surf board, skate board, car, fun house, hamster wheel, sleep dome, slide and ramp, and connector tubes! When this set is all put together, it takes up our entire playroom floor! It takes some time to connect the pieces, but once it was all together, my kids never wanted to disassemble it!

The hamsters are way too cute!! Their names are: Mr. Squiggles, Num Nums, Pipsqeak and Chunk. We were given Pipsqueak and Mr. Squiggles. They are the two brownish colored ones.

I have always lived in the South. With one look, you can see that I have spent WAAAYYY too many hours out in the sun, unprotected! By the time I am 40, I will likely look at bit like a raisin.
I really wish I had found out about this product earlier!!
Skin MD has managed to come up with a brand new, break-through formula which has proven to be at least 6 times more moisturizing than glycerin! I used to make my own lotions and lip balms, so I know that when it comes to moisturization, it simply doesn't get better than glycerin.
But when I tried their lotion, I was absolutely AMAZED. A little bit goes a long way, so you don't have to apply much. The lotion INSTANTLY absorbs into your skin, and leaves no greasy film behind!
I used this lotion on my cracked and dry hands one night before bed, and woke up feeling like I had someone elses hands attached to my arms! My hands felt brand new, and the cracks were healed. I am extremely impressed with this product.

You already know the name.... NALGENE!
We all love their bottles, and know about their amazing strength and durability!
And YES! They are BPA-free!!
But now, there are so many new options available through Nalgene, everyone will be able to find just what they are looking for!

You will be amazed at the number of selections on the Nalgene Choice website! They offer everything from sippy cups, to runners bottles, to airline bottles (bring along your liquids when you fly, but stay in compliance with airline standards), to kitchen storage containers!

This "Grip n' Gulp" is absolutely my favorite child's bottle of all time!!! You know those sippy cups that claim they won't leak... but they they leak all over your child?
