Se ha revelado que Yamashita Tomohisa lanzará su nueva canción, “Ke・Sera・Sera“, el 13 de marzo.

“Ke・Sera・Sera” está siendo utilizado como tema musical para un dorama de la cadema NTV, protagonizada por Inagaki de SMAP. Es una canción de pop que fue escrita por Ogoda Natsuki (Vo) y Haneda Narita (Key).

El sencillo saldrá a la venta en 4 ediciones diferentes: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Limited Edition C, y la edición regular.

La edición limitada A vendrá con un DVD con el videoclip y detrás de cámaras de “Ke・Sera・Sera“. Mientras tanto, el DVD de edición limitada B incluirá un resumen de‘LOVE CHASE Special Event‘ y ‘Yamashita Tomohisa Cross Space Public Recording Event‘. yeah yeah I know, just the title is boring enough to warrant a yawn. But I really really love these quotes from some fairy tales and poems. Hehe, my feelings won't be hurt if you just skip the words and enjoy the artworks. Okkkkk, even if you skip the artworks, I can't tell anyway. Hope you enjoy :)

As much as I admire the allure of fairy art illustration and thoroughly embrace its visual sensation than plain linguistic representation, I do feel literature plays a more significant role in preserving the legend of fairy and fantasy. From ancient Greek epic poet Homer to the greatest English playwright William Shakespeare to Nobel prize winner Irish poet W.B. Yeats, fairy is depicted as innocent, joyous and a source of wisdom. The very thought of fairies bestows a sense of hope, a sense of escape from the harsh reality of human burden and conflicts.

Perhaps it is the same impression when we immerse ourselves in the deep contemplation of Yong Joon. We do feel that sense of peacefulness and warmth, in a safe haven that is embraced by his kindness and beauty. An ideal world where there is no judgement nor prejudice, where love needs no reason.

Let’s enjoy the charm of some fairy literature composed by the greatest scholars in history :

Hi hi sisters ...... it's almost 2 weeks since the 9.0 earthquake struck Japan, the news time that TV networks devote to the coverage of the series of disasters is beginning to wane. Occasionally, we hear reports on the radiation scare and food/water contamination reminding us of the on-going rescue/relief effort still happening over there. The Japanese government estimated the cost to rebuild after the disaster to be over $300 billion. This is quite an astronomical figure for any average folk to comprehend, but we can see from the video footages and pictures how catastrophic the damage this disaster has left behind. People have lost their homes, personal belongings, means of livelihood; and escaped with only the clothes on their backs. The emotional pain of losing their families, loved ones and their communities is just unimaginable.
Since the disaster struck, I have read/heard comments like "Oh, Japan is a wealthy country, they don't need our help". Yes, we are impressed with how civilized and resilient the Japanese people are, revealing their 'respect for others and properties' even in emergency situations. We also know the strong bonding among the Japanese people and the determination they have to rebuild their communities. True, we cannot replace their family treasures or momentos from the past, part of that history is wiped out with the tsunami. But we can help by instilling hope to mend their broken hearts and restore their confidence. We can spread our love to let them know there are people out there who care and support them.
We have seen Yong Joon's lead with his 1 bilion won donation and the generous show of hearts from the Malaysian BYJ Family. I am encouraged by flowerbossa's posts on the many fundraising events in/outside of Japan and how wonderful these artists use their talents for good causes. There are many channels that we can help the Japanese victims as listed on the homepage of xiaoyi's blog, and also bb's mention of DATV Hohoemi project on JustGivingJapan.

If you prefer something more personalized, there are always the local Japanese communities' fundraising drives. In Toronto, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center is organizing the Taiko drums flash mob tomorrow, and also the grand Sakura Ball which parts of the proceeds will go to help the relief efforts. The Toronto School Board also participates in teaching Elementary to High School students to fold 1000 paper cranes and send to the Japanese school children, as a way to show they are in our thoughts. Many victims are still suffering from the cold, hunger and loneliness, please open your hearts and help however you can. Love always ......

THE TWO TEMPORADE DREAM HIGH????

Dream High has announced the production of a sequel series, and that has everyone in a tizzy trying to either guess the new cast, or offer up their favorites for a fantasy version. Well, according to a KBS variety programming executive, they’re getting TWO shows in one (kaching!), because they’ll be holding a separate reality show covering auditions to find the new cast members.
Of course, not all of the cast will be selected via audition — I’m sure they’ve got idols lined up who’d dearly love that shot to break out into their acting careers — but those who make it through the reality program will get background roles. Which may even be better — imagine you’re a Dream High fan. Imagine your favorite idols get cast in the sequel. And then imagine that you get to play…their best friend. Or tormentor. Or rival, whatever.

This is quite possibly brilliant. It’s like the What’s Up auditions, juiced up and televised and turned into an entertainment property all its own. Well, the drama was known for its meta awareness and pop-culture referencing, so it only makes sense that that sequel go all-out in the meta department, yeah?
The reality auditions will be held in the latter half of the year, as they have another reality program in the works that will air first. KBS is also looking at production concepts for MC and comedian reality shows.
Dream High 2 is aiming to hit the airwaves in January 2012, co-produced again by Bae Yong-joon’s Keyeast and Park Jin-young’s JYP Entertainment. I have no interest in seeing Yonsama reprise his anemic cameo, but man oh man had they better bring back Park’s hysterically offbeat character. That dude was a scene-stealer if there ever was one. (Trivia! JYP named his character, Yang Jin-man, after the “Big 3″ music-biz CEOs: There’s YG’s Yang Hyun-seok; his own name, Park Jin-young; and SM’s Lee Soo-man.) Both Bae and Park are in talks to serve as the judges for the reality program.

El desastre de la central nuclear de Fukushima en Japón ha puesto en el punto de mira de la atención mundial a la empresa operadora de esas instalaciones, la Compañía Eléctrica de Tokyo (Tepco).
Es dificil no tener algún tipo de simpatía por ellos, mientras sus ingenieros siguen con los esfuerzos por evitar una catastrófica fusión del núcleo.
Al igual que le pasó a la petrolera británica BP con la explosión de una plataforma en el golfo de México en la que murieron once personas y causó el mayor derrame de crudo de la historia de Estados Unidos, a mediados de 2010, Tepco se encuentra en dificultades para enfrentarse a una situación que nunca presagió.
Las relaciones públicas no deben estar muy alto en su lista de prioridades en momentos en que libra una batalla para evitar lo peor, en medio de la devastación causada por el terremoto y el posterior tsunami el pasado viernes.
Tepco es el mayor proveedor de energía de Japón. Sin crisis de por medio, genera un tercio de la electricidad consumida en el país, incluidas las zonas más pobladas y las económicamente estratégicas, como Tokyo.

"Fukushima"

Pero Tepco, que ha perdido la mitad de su valor de mercado desde el terremoto del viernes, también cuenta con un historial de fallas a la hora de comunicar sus faltas en el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad.
Los críticos acusan a la compañía de problemas en las comunicaciones con el público. Y se dice que entre esos críticos está el primer ministro, Naoto Kan.
De hecho, el jefe del gobierno estaba furioso el martes cuando la compañía aparentemente no le habló de un nuevo incendio en una de las plantas nucleares hasta una hora después de que surgiera.
Con experiencia en lo nuclear
Tepco es la cuarta mayor compañía energética comercial del mundo, después de las alemanas E.ON y R.W.E., y Electricité de France.
El año pasado declaró utilidades de US$1.660 millones con un volumen de ventas de US$62.000 millones.
Tepco comenzó como una de las nueve empresas eléctricas regionales establecidas en 1951, año en que se le asignó la tarea inicial de crear una infraestructura fiable para suministrar energía al país de cara a reconstruir su economía después de la II Guerra Mundial.
Actualmente, Tepco emplea a unas 38.000 personas. Se trata de uno de los operadores con más experiencia en plantas de energía nuclear. El complejo de Fukushima entró en funcionamiento en marzo de 1970.
En aquel momento, Japón consideraba a la energía nuclear como una parte importante de la solución para obtener electricidad y mantener en marcha sus fábricas.
El país tenía interés en el desarrollo de la energía nuclear para facilitar su emancipación de la importación de petróleo y carbón. Recientemente, la expansión en la capacidad nuclear era propuesta como una manera para conseguir los objetivos en reducción de gases de efecto invernadero.
Falsificaciones

Pero hay que señalar también que no es la primera vez que Tepco se enfrenta a críticas por sus reticencias a la hora de informar acerca de sus operaciones nucleares.
En 2002, el gobierno japonés la acusó de falsear reportes sobre inspecciones rutinarias en las instalaciones nucleares y de ocultar faltas en cumplir con las normas de seguridad durante muchos años.
La empresa tuvo que cerrar todos sus reactores de agua en ebullición -los del mismo tipo del reactor de Fukushima- hasta que se llevaron a cabo más inspecciones.
Tepco tuvo que admitir que falsificó información 200 veces entre 1977 y 2002. Cinco años después surgieron nuevas revelaciones de otras falsedades cometidas en el pasado.
Mientras la empresa lucha con la crisis actual, frecuentemente comparada con la causada en 1979 con la fusión parcial del núcleo de la central de Three Mile Island, en EE.UU, no es difícil imaginarse por qué algunos observadores japoneses comienzan a sospechar que Tepco no está facilitando toda la información que debería.
Un portavoz de la compañía reveló que 20 funcionarios del gobierno se han instalado en sus oficinas de Tokyo.
El año pasado, BP sufrió un enorme daño en su prestigio, perdió a su director ejecutivo y tuvo que apartar US$40.900 millones para gastos relacionados con el derrame del golfo de México.

Alerta en las centrales nucleares

Once reactores nucleares han paralizado su actividad y el primer ministro de Japón, Naoto Kan, decretó la alerta atómica, aunque el gobierno asegura que no se han detectado fugas radiactivas en o cerca de las plantas nucleares.
El portavoz del gobierno, Yukio Edano, Kan explicó que la alerta es para facilitar la eventual adopción de medidas de emergencia. La población que vive cerca de las central nucleares no fue conminada a tomar medidas especiales.
Japón, situado en el llamado anillo de fuego del Pacífico, sufre frecuentes terremotos, que raramente causan víctimas debido a las estrictas normas de construcción vigentes en el país.
Tras el terremoto de hace dos días, la Agencia Meteorológica nipona había advertido de que durante una semana podrían producirse réplicas, aunque había estimado una intensidad de 4 en la escala japonesa

SEOUL, March 14 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor Bae Yong-joon has donated 1 billion won (US$888,000) to the Japanese government's fund for earthquake relief, his agency said Monday.

Keyeast, Bae's management firm, said the 38-year-old actor offered his donation after hearing about Japan's struggles in dealing with the aftermath of the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and an ensuing tsunami last Friday. Thousands of people are feared dead and missing, and Japan is also confronted with a nuclear crisis following an explosion at a nuclear power plant in Fukushima, north of Tokyo.

11日に日本で発生した地震による被災者たちのため、ペ・ヨンジュンが10億ウォン（約7300万円）を寄付した。

　ペ・ヨンジュンは、地震により生活の基盤を失った人たちの支援のために使ってほしいとし、日本の内閣府傘下の団体に10億ウォンを寄付した。救援物資は日本政府を通じ、被災地域に送られる予定だ。

   키이스트는 "구호물자와 복구장비가 턱없이 부족하다는 소식을 접한 배용준이 삶의 터전을 잃은 피해자들의 긴급 지원에 써달라며 10억원을 전달했다"며 "앞으로도 도울 방법을 계속 모색할 예정"이라고 설명했다.

   배용준은 기부에 앞서 이날 오전 자신의 일본 공식 홈페이지를 통해 "피해 규모가 커지고 있다는 소식과 여진 소식은 마음을 더 아프게 한다. 도울 수 있는 최선의 방법을 찾아보겠다"며 지원 의사를 밝힌 바 있다.

   키이스트 관계자는 "배용준 씨가 추운 날씨에 피난처는 물론 식수조차 부족한 상황에 있는 피해자들의 상황을 전해 듣고 많이 걱정하고 있다"며 "식료품과 담요 등 가장 시급한 물자들부터 지원해주길 당부했다"고 전했다.

Both the Japanese and Korean government tried to mitigate the deeply rooted prejudice over decades and nothing really worked, but BYJ turned this over in just one year. This is the power of culture. It’s something that government and politics is unable to achieve.
What’s more, it changed the attitude of the people in the age group of 50 to 70 dramatically. All at once, he changed the people’s way of seeing Japanese Koreans, and the Korean people’s position in society changed too.
In a way, he is a revolutionist. A revolutionist of a cultural revolution. He should be more respected for that. That’s what I think.
The aura he emanates is not that of an actor. If anything it’s more in the nature of an artist. He has the qualities and aura close to a rock artist. I felt that the moment I met him.
His aura is suppressed when he is in a suit, but when he came into the Tokyo Dome, he was dressed more casually. He was wearing a long knit coat, with slim pants tucked into boots. That’s when I felt it. He’s a rock artist. I was taken aback, and in a way, I was moved.
