Samsung Galaxy S3 had landed without a premium metallic shell, in the same vein as the HTC One S for instance, any question of design standards would have been obliterated.

The email client, the Mac support and the overall erratic nature of the UI at times don't scream 'high end' to us, and for a five star rating we have to be amazed constantly.

And other little things, like S Voice and Smart Stay, not being quite up to the task just yet mean it's hard to state this is a phone almost without flaw, especially given the competition it faces.

But make no mistake: the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the best smarpthone on the market. It's got every kind of feature we could ask for and more, and raises the bar once again in terms of what consumers should be expecting in terms of battery life, processor speed and media management.

Would we recommend you buy one? Yes, without hesitation. If you're torn between this and an HTC One X, it's a very difficult one to call – the camera on the One X is better in some respects and the overall feel might appeal. But in terms of pure usability and power, we really like what Samsung has put on the table.

And if you're thinking about picking up an iPhone 4S: forget it. You'll need to wait to see what response Apple is Cooking up with the iPhone 5 as a 3.5-inch screen and the same high price tag it launched with are no longer acceptable.

And the final question: should you upgrade from your Samsung Galaxy S2? If you're a fan of the latest smartphone technology, then yes: the Samsung Galaxy S3 is worthy of any pocket (as long as you like the design).

But the Galaxy S2 is a long way from spent yet – the new ICS update has kept it fresh, and the speed is still very quick under most conditions.

4. root (made into download mode is easy. just push the volume up and down together, and connect to pc usb nexus s)

5.not rooted phone (slightly more complicated method for entry into download mode)

in a state of total dead (the power button does not work). nexus s connection to the pc while press vol up and down together. later nexus screen will go into download mode.

This jig will allow you to get your phone into download mode when your phone is 3 button combo disabled or soft bricked. As long as there is something on the screen, the jig should work for you.

This JIG also works to RESET THE FLASHING COUNTER OF THEGALAXY SII I9100. You can flash custom ROMS and put the flash counter back to 0.

You will need:

1. a micro USB plug that you can solder onto. If you are not confident with soldering or you just want a tidy solution, buy this micro USB breakout board.

Otherwise, get a cheap micro USB cable and cut the sleeving off the plug with a sharp knife. You cannot just wire onto the cable because this jig uses a normally-unused pin (pin 4) of the micro USB plug which will not be connected to the cable.

2. a 301k resistor. make one up by joining several resistors together in series, for example 3x100k and 1x1k. The resistor value does need to be fairly accurate (I would guess within 1% of 301k) to trigger download mode. 300K seems to work for everyone so far.

Procedure:
1. Solder the resistor across pins 4 and 5 of the micro USB plug. Do not do this with the plug plugged in to the phone as the heat could damage the phone's USB socket. The pins are shown in this diagram ("Micro-B"). On the Sparkfun micro USB breakout board they are labelled "ID" (pin 4) and "GND" (pin 5). When the plug is plugged in to the phone they will be the pins closest to the headphone socket.

2. Make sure the phone is fully switched off by pulling the battery, waiting 5 minutes, then replacing the battery. Do not switch the phone on.

3. Connect the rigged USB plug to the phone. Try not to touch the pins on the back of the plug or the resistor(s) as you are plugging it in, as your skin resistance could affect the resistor value seen by the phone. You do not need to press the power button. After a few seconds the phone should go into download mode.

4. Disconnect the rigged USB plug and connect a regular USB cable from your PC to the phone, then you should be able to flash using Odin.

when you want to install games with the apk files, games are sometimes can not run because it requires data from the games, you have to download first. because most games have a large data file, then you are required to use the wifi network to download it. were you do not have a wifi network at your place now. but there are ways to download games using the data carrier. I've made a previous post, how to download game data without wifi here.

1. create a text file with the name "qawifionlymode.txt"
2. open the txt file, and fill with "FALSE"
3. then save the file
4. move it on the sd card
5. install apk to your desired game.
6. The game will ask for additional file is the file size up to hundreds of megabytes.
7. note the lower right section there will be words "CARRIER NETWORK", select the menu.
8. and complete.

sony ericsson xperia play is my first android phone, and used to tweak useful for you later if there are problems or upgrades. before you make a tweak on this xplay, you should do a backup first so if something goes wrong, can restore back.

how to backup with omnius
make sure the batteries at least 50%
turn off phone
unplug the battery after 5 seconds, plug it in again.

download omnius for se here free and install, run omnius for se, see no device detected. you may install driver (updated driver) ggsemc in omnius software
