The religions saying on faith is that ‘Let your faith protect you’, and in Sanskrit ‘Yadbhaavam thadhbhavathi’. As you think so you are. If we can make our subconscious mind to accept this point it will provide us with the ultimate knowledge, power, and all that is necessary. If our subconscious mind accepts these possibilities we can realise what we need. The key for this is to keep our mind open and receptive, so that the deeper mind can reveal to us everything we need to know. Then why it is not happening in most of the cases?

The Obstacles in the way of realizations

Why are we finding it difficult to achieve what we want? The answer in most cases is that we are not very sure of what we want. Hence our mind energy is dissipated on the past unhappy situations/incidents or on what is going to happen in future and over indulgence in sexual, other sensual related matters, comparisons with others and negative emotions. In English there is a say to the effect that "Yesterday is a canceled cheque, tomorrow is a promissory note and today is the reality – live today'. Its effect is that if we avoid brooding over the past and what is going to happen in future we can have a peaceful existence. Peace and tranquility is the precondition for the fertility of mind for creative ideas. For reaching this condition of the mind there are several ways. The ways that will help us achieve peace is to practice meditation, hypnotism, pranayama (controlled breathing), yoga (light exercises which h help regulation of blood circulation and exercise to internal organs) etc. To the extent we control our thoughts from past and future and concentrate on positive aspects of life our mind power increases proportionately. The increased power of the mind will help us to realise what we want to that extent. How can we realise peace?

How do we realise?

The only way to realise the goals is to train ourselves to contact and release the power of subconscious mind. If we can make the subconscious mind to accept our desires it is possible for us to realise the desires like power, wealth, health, success and happiness etc. The power is within every one. What is required is to have faith in our mind power, learn the technique to convince our subconscious mind of our desire. We have no means to communicate with our subconscious mind directly when our mind work. But our mind has communication with the subconscious mind. If we go on repeating the desire in our mind, the subconscious mind will pick up the same slowly and gradually, depending on our consistent and untiring effort. The subconscious mind has no opinion or judgment of its own. Therefore, if we firmly and sincerely believe in what we repeat the subconscious mind will pick up the idea. Once it picks up, our work is done, because the subconscious mind will work for it. This effort has to be supplemented by our having meditation regularly for 3 -4 times a day for about 5 to 10 minutes each. For that first we have to bring peace of mind by the methods mentioned in the previous paragraph. During the duration of the meditation we should repeat in mind, the things which we want to achieve. Some of the most common desires are mentioned below. We go on repeating the relevant one/s in our mind and think about them mentally as if we are realizing the goal so that the sub conscious mind picks it up and help us to realise over a period of time.

For overall Improvement:

For having overall improvement we mentally repeat ‘by day and by night I am advancing, progressing, prospering and getting wealthier, healthier, successful, courageous, confident and happier. I am being prospered in all my interests and activities by day and night’.

For Wealth

We repeat mentally that ‘I like and love money, and I use money wisely, and judiciously. I allow the money to constantly circulate in my life. I use it with joy, and money comes back multiplied in wonderful way. It is very good and I feel the worth of it. I use it wisely, and I am grateful for my good and for the riches of my mind. I am very happy in the wealth of others. Wealth is coming to me now as a stream steadily. The intelligence of my mind governs and watches over my financial transactions, and helps me to prosper’.

I am one with infinite riches of my subconscious mind. It is my right to be rich, happy, healthy & successful. Money flows to me freely, copiously and endlessly. I am forever conscious of my true wealth. I give of my talents freely, and I am wonderfully blessed financially. It is wonderful. The infinite intelligence of my subconscious mind reveals to me my true place in life.

For self Improvement

I realize that my subconscious mind is a storehouse of memory. It retains everything I read and hear from others. I have a perfect memory, and the infinite intelligence in my subconscious mind constantly reveals to me everything I need to know at all times everywhere. I radiate love & goodwill to all around me. I sincerely wish for them success and all good things.

For Peace

My body and mind are completely and totally relaxed. I forgive everyone. I sincerely wish harmony, health, peace and all the blessings of life to all. I am having complete peace, completely poised, serene and calm. A great calm tranquilizes my whole being. I feel the divine presence within me. I wrap myself in the love for all and fall asleep filled with goodwill for all. Throughout the night I am peaceful and in the morning I will be brimming with life and love. I have no fear of evil.

Limitations to use of subconscious mind

It may look simple and easy to achieve as to what we desire. But it is not so as there are several factors involved. From childhood till our present stag we have been influenced by various impressions which have gone deep into our subconscious mind and of which we may not be aware unless we take great effort to find out. These embossed impressions will make our attempt to control the mind and changes it from the present impressions. But it will be possible for us to make some improvement depending upon the stage we are at present, the extent of the entrenched impressions in our mind and the consistency, persistence and sincerity and faith in our mind power. If the parents are conscious of this factor they may be able to make the effort much easier. Right from the conception by the mother both father and mother should spend some time in following this for themselves so that a part of the effort will go to the child growing inside the mother’s womb. When the child is borne and guided accordingly it will have tremendous advantage.

Examples of mind power – concentration

Some examples of the mind power are the mythological Hanuman. He was concentrating on his Lord Sri Rama. Hanuman was supposed to have done much more heroic acts even more than his Lord because of his high concentration. Coming to the real persons, we have the example of Sri Sankaracharya of 14th Century. Sankaracharya lived only for 32 years. Within this time he mastered all the teachings of Hindu Religion traveled throughout the length and breadth of India 2 times, when the only mode of transport was by walk and may some occasional ride of bullock cart. He did not just travel the distance. He went to the populated area where there were scholars and engaged them in discussion and corrected their blind beliefs, wrong understandings etc. He had also been visiting and spending some times in the temples on the way and correcting the daily rituals there and where no proper rituals were existing, introduced the proper rituals etc. Then there are the examples Buddha, Vivekananda etc. The examples of the scientist inventors like Newton, Galileo are also in that line. The Mahatma Gandhi is the latest example of achieving something incredible which no one else could think of.

Conclusions

Mind is only one, but it possesses two separate characteristics. Each is having separate powers and attributes. One is what we are aware of consciously and the other the subconscious one. The labels used to distinguish the two functions are: objective mind and subjective mind, conscious and subconscious mind, the wakeful and sleeping mind. Our subconscious mind can be compared to the soil, which will grow any kind of plants according to the seeds put. It may be good or bad. The seeds are like our thoughts. Let us sow the thoughts of peace, happiness, right action, goodwill and prosperity and with interest on these qualities and accept them without any doubt in our subconscious mind. Continue to feed these thoughts consistently, in our mind, and we will be able to reap the wonderful harvest of the fruits. Let us remember that if we plant pumpkin, we cannot get mangoes. What we sow, we reap in many folds. So let us sow only good thoughts so that we have positive life with happiness, health, wealth, success and prosperity. So let us take charge of our thoughts so that we get the desirable conditions. The subconscious mind is reactive and responds to the nature of our thoughts and rewards us with the benefits.
