Biden's Been Busy - Writing a Book

PPPS (Rehobeth Beach, MD) — With all of the focus these days on President Trump's reckless war on Iran, our economy and our democracy, former President Joe Biden has been surprisingly quiet. So, we sent a crack crew of reporters to Rehobeth Beach, Maryland to find out how Joe has been spending his first year in retirement.

Apparently, President Biden has not just been reclining in a beach chair or riding a bike among the dunes near his Rehobeth Beach vacation home.

Instead, Joe's been busy writing a book!

Naturally, we assumed the book would be about Biden's successful term as President or a lengthy memoir documenting his long political career in DC. Our staff even speculated that the book might be of a more personal nature, a compelling story about his wonderful family, or about some hobby he has taken up in retirement, à la President George W. Bush and his portrait paintings.

Through exhaustive research and contacts with numerous anonymous sources, our PPPS team of investigative journalists has revealed that Biden's book will actually be on a business topic, a guide so-to-speak for aspiring entrepreneurs, using Biden's own family business success as a model.

In a PPPS exclusive, we have obtained a preliminary copy of the cover design for the book, to be titled Plausible Deniability - How to succeed in family business without really trying.

To quote a spokesperson for the publisher, "President Biden chose not to write the usual self-promoting memoir about his presidency or political career. As the most successful one-term president in American history, his record speaks for itself and is already well-documented. Instead, he chose to continue in his service to our country by illustrating a pathway by which others may achieve their American dream."

President Biden, because of his exhaustive schedule in retirement, complicated by his heroic battle with health issues, agreed to partner with a ghost writer on the book project. Our research indicates that the name of the ghost writer is Otto Penn, rumored to have previously worked at the White House assisting in the drafting of Biden's numerous executive orders.

In the course of research for this exclusive story, our reporters were unable to personally interview any of the Biden family. However, son Hunter, upon hearing of our investigations, challenged one of our reporters to a sword duel in a post on X.

President Biden's book is scheduled for release this summer.

Pundit Pete is Back and Opines on the SAVE Act

PPPS (Littleton) —OUR ESTEEMED LEADER, PUNDIT PETE, HAS RETURNED, following a more than two-year hiatus, rumored to have been brought on by a weakness of mind and character, during which time he became a politician and ran for office (he almost won).

Pete, it turns out, also suffered from a much-appreciated weakness of wallet (along with our chief benefactor, Philanthropist Pete), and all of the PPPS staff got to keep their jobs and continue to receive regular paychecks (unlike certain government employees of late).

While awaiting story assignments and editorial content from our Editor-In-Chief, the staff dutifully reported to work and many can proudly boast of their achievements, including record scores on video games and dance reels which went viral on TikTok and YouTube.

But we digress.

Pundit Pete is back after having lost a close election, and his first opinion piece is about Election Fraud, and the one piece of legislation that could prevent it, the SAVE Act.

Pete actually had a lot to say on the subject and spoke for over two hours. The staff, being a bit out of practice at taking notes and, in recognition of the short attention span of our low-information readers, decided to shorten Pete's opinion arguing for passage of the SAVE Act to one simple statement.

Michigan Democrat Receives Rare Honor

PPPS (Washington, DC)—Following a bipartisan vote, Representative Rashida Tlaib, Democrat from Michigan, received a formal censure from the House of Representatives for her comments on the recent October 7th minor misunderstanding between Hamas and Israel. In a tearful acceptance speech before Congress, Tlaib proudly claimed to be the first member from Michigan (actually the 2nd) and first person of Palestinian allegiance upon which the rare title of CENSURED has been bestowed. She joined Rep. Adam Schiff, Democrat from California, as one of the only two members of Congress so honored in 2023, and one of only 27 House members to have been censured in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives. PPPS (Littleton)—In our previous blog post, our staff may have come off as enthusiastically endorsing President Biden's healing "Soul of America" speech in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

Upon reflection, and after reading several polls on the public reaction to the speech, along with hundreds of readers' comments, most of which we had to delete, we asked our Religion Editor, Pious Pete, to engage in a bit of soul searching on the topic.

Here was his conclusion in the form of a revised meme.

Please note that PPPS does not engage in religious interpretations of political events and that suggested interpretations from readers, including numerous references to dictators (specifically Musolini and Hitler), tyrants, demons, fascism, terrorism, thugs, hair sniffers, socialists, communists, Stasi, brown shirts, FBI and Satan, played no role in Pious Pete's re-interpretation of the speech. PPPS (Littleton)—With 2021 finally in the rearview mirror, our esteemed Editor-In-Chief, Pundit Pete, has issued his Predictions for 2022.

1. Illegals Will Sue Cartels in 2022

With a generous cash settlement courtesy of U.S. taxpayers apparently off the table, look for illegal immigrants and their Leftist lawyers to re-aim their mistreatment, separation and trauma lawsuits at the Mexican Cartels in 2022.

Pundit Pete is so confident in the success of this endeavor that he has directed our own corporate attorney Pleader Pete to get in on the action (and a generous cut of the resulting cash settlements). We will update our readers on the lawsuit status, just as soon as we hear back from Pleader Pete, who is making initial inquiries south of the border (he's only been missing for a few days now).

2. Democrats Will Win Big in the 2022 Midterms

All of the major polling outfits, and most of the TV pundits are now predicting a major win for the GOP in the 2022 midterm elections. But those same major polling outfits and TV pundits have been notoriously wrong in their predictions over the past few election cycles.

Here at the Pundit Pete Press Service, we have undertaken a different polling and prediction approach, seeking out the underlying trends in politics that others passed over. Relying on a unique and proprietary polling method in which we are able to sample deceased voters, PPPS has identified a major underground shift in voter attitudes going into 2022.

In 2020, the extremely large dead voter block voted almost exclusively for Trump, allowing him to come remarkably close to winning the presidential election. However, one year into the Biden administration, this voting block appears to have turned over.

With references to President Biden's shuffles on stage as akin to a "dead man walking", the resent Democrat Build Back Better legislation described as "dead in the water", Biden's policy decision making process described as "brain dead", with both the Democrats' and Biden's approval ratings in a "death spiral", dead voters have taken note.

"The Dems are just like us. Dead. So, they've got my vote", blushed one deceased Chicago voter, who proudly displayed a Grover Cleveland pin commemorating the first election he ever voted in. "In fact, I'm gonna vote Democrat in several states this year." he added.

Based on these trends, Pundit Pete is now predicting a filibuster and veto-proof Congress. With such an overwhelming majority, Democrats will be able to pass Democracy-Restoring, Covid- Crushing, and Climate-Saving legislation at Biden's bidding starting in 2023.

Biden Unleashes New Afghanistan Strategy

PPPS (Camp David, MD)—In response to mild criticism from the press and the international community, the Biden Administration today unleashed a new strategy to repatriate American citizens and others currently held hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The strategy was unveiled by Dr. Jill Biden, on behalf of President Joe Biden, at a video press conference today from Camp David, the presidential retreat where the couple are currently vacationing. The President's only participation in the press conference was to briefly help hold up a sign. No follow-up questions were allowed.

The strategy, as explained by Dr. Biden, was to appeal to the Taliban via their huge following on Twitter. "You don't accomplish goals or conduct diplomacy with mean tweets" she added, presumably referring to former President Trump, who has been banned from Twitter.

Many in the press are dubbing it a brilliant social media coup, in stark contrast to the failed military and diplomatic efforts originally conceived by the Trump Administration to safely extricate the U.S. from Afghanistan.

For her part, Dr. Biden graciously shared credit for the strategy with former First Lady Michelle Obama, who had previously conducted a successful "hashtag campaign" on behalf of another group of hostages several years ago.
