NYC in the cold

The Flatiron building is pretty flat

What better way to sell glasses than have a ballet dancer in your window?

And then a quick run through Times Square to gawk at the lights again....

Repent! The end is at hand!

Back at home, the cat shows what she has been up to all day

Some pictures from the week.

Here are some pictures from the last week. I hope you like them!

A Nuthatch trying to figure out how to perch on the birdfeeder. He never did but managed to get a seed anyway.

Sunset on a bike ride last Sunday from the top. Fortunately I made it down quickly.

Backlit fuzzy things, my favorite.

New decoration for the apartment

Went for a walk in the park during lunch at work. It is the only chance to get some sun during the work week now that the sun sets so early.

The birds are happy about this feeder.

Night Riding

Night riding on Mount Beacon Yesterday.

The cityscape from the top of the tower came out a little blurry because the wind was shaking the tower back and forth!

And here's a couple from Ringwood with Tom

And a final one of the top of the defunct incline railway

Windham World Cup DH 2012

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 03 Jul 2012 12:22:00 +0000

I went to watch the Windham World Cup mountain bike race last weekend. We saw the best in the world flying through a section of trail about 5 times faster than I could ever see myself doing so. It was pretty impressive! Here's a couple of shots from the section we were watching from.

Duckies!

Quite possibly the funniest creatures in the world to watch.

Rainy day

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sat, 21 May 2011 20:15:00 +0000

The tree in front of our apartment building has an aphid problem.

Spring!

At least it's spring where there isn't 10' of snow on the ground still.

Story Mill

A couple from the drive to the Salt Lake airport and a few from the beach in Baja. We drove from Bozeman to Salt Lake, Flew to LA and then drove about half way down the Baja Peninsula to Costa Brava. Lots more where these came from. . .

My parents live in a zoo

Not literally, but between the python, pheasants, turkeys and deer it feels that way sometimes.

Hungry Birds

The Chickadees up at Bridger Bowl are ready for the crowds to start feeding them again!
