Some Visio shapes have built-in ScreenTips—usually the name of the shape (such as the name of a workflow step). However, you can edit existing ScreenTip text or create new ScreenTip text for shapes that don’t have a built-in ScreenTip.

To create or edit a ScreenTip:
1. Select the shape.

Do you frequently create the same type of complex table, such as a financial table or tables to use for custom page layouts? If so, you can save that table for easy insertion into any document by storing it in the Quick Tables gallery. Here’s how:

Select the table, and then press ALT+F3 to open the Create New Building Block dialog box. Type a name for your table, click the Gallery drop-down arrow, and then choose Tables from the list. You can set other options as well, such as choosing or creating a category for your table, which affects where in the Quick Tables gallery it is stored. By clicking the Save in drop-down arrow, you can indicate the template in which you want to store the table. However, if you leave the default Building Blocks.dotx as the Save in location, your table will be available to you for use in any document.

To access your saved table, on the Insert tab, click Table, and then point to Quick Tables.

You're receiving this message because you used the Live Mesh beta from Microsoft. On March 31, 2011, the beta of Live Mesh will end, and the Live Mesh beta will stop working. After March 31, you won't be able to access any files stored online in your Live Desktop or connect to your PCs remotely using the Live Mesh software. Your files will also stop syncing between your computers and your Live Mesh online storage. Please read below for actions we recommend you take.

Why is this happening?

To deliver a better product for all our customers, we combined several services into a new product called Windows Live Mesh. What you need to do before Live Mesh beta shuts down

To prevent loss of any of your files, please sync all files from your Live Desktop so that you have them on your computer when the Live Mesh beta service is shutdown. To do this, follow these steps:

On your Live Desktop, right-click any Live Mesh folders not yet synced with your computer, and then click Sync with this computer. Make sure all the folders on your Live Desktop have desktop shortcuts.
Select where you want each folder to sync, and then click OK. If a folder has a lot of files, this might take a while. Open each folder and make sure all the files are downloaded.

What you can do moving forward

If you enjoyed the functionality of Live Mesh, we encourage you to install the new Windows Live Mesh. You will first need to uninstall the Live Mesh beta, and then go to http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mesh to get the latest version of Windows Live Mesh. Q: Why is this happening?
A: For the last couple of years, Microsoft has offered two similar services for syncing your files: Live Mesh beta and another service, called Windows Live Sync, which let people sync large folders of files between PCs. To deliver a better product for all our customers, we decided to combine these sets of features into a new product called Windows Live Mesh.

Note: Windows Live Mesh is available only for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Mac OS X version 10.5 or later.

Q: What can I expect between now and the date the beta service shuts down?
A: The Live Mesh beta service will continue to run until March 31, 2011. However, we will no longer accept new beta participants. You won't be able to share Live Mesh folders with someone unless they already have Live Mesh installed. On March 31, 2011, you will no longer be able to sign in to Live Mesh beta on your PC, Mac, or on the web.

The application must be strictly as per the prescribed format.. APPLICATION SENT DIRECTLY TO THE UGC OFFICE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED

The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on26th December, 2010 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award ofJunior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 77 (seventy seven) subjects (listed under item no. 9) at 70 (Seventy, including four new centres) selected University Centres (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country.
The result of the UGC-NET held on 27th June, 2010 and the one to be held on 26th December, 2010 will be made available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in and shall also be published in the Employment News as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result.
The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for lectureship. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them. The award of JRF will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for lectureship will not be considered for award of JRF. Candidates appearing in NET should clearly specify in the prescribed Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & eligibility for Lectureship OR only for eligibility for Lectureship. Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Lectureship will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lecturers of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.
Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Visually Handicapped (VH)/Physically Handicapped (PH) / Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer), as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website : www.ncbc.nic.in, candidates will be given such special concessions as may be decided by the Commission.

2) JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP :

Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to finding their placement in universities/IITs/institutions. The validity period of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. However, in case the candidates have already joined M.Phil/Ph.D., the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.

UGC NET ELIGIBILITY :

AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION :

i)	Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.12.2010. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances.

ii)	Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

i) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

ii) Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH/VH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

iii) The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET

iv) Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject.

v) Candidates seeking concession in fee are required to submit attested copy of their OBC(Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PH/VH certificate along with online print out of their Application Forms (obtained while applying on-line). Other candidates are not required to submit any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility alongwith print out of their Application Form. Therefore, the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the Commission at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

vi) Candidates with post-graduate diploma/certificate course(s), should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their course(s) with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

4) AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION :
i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2010. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority.

Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances.

ii) Lectureship : No upper age limit.

5) EXEMPTION (ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP) :
i) For M. Phil/ Ph.D candidates: The candidates having Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for Under Graduate and Post Graduate level teaching. The candidates having M. Phil Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for Under Graduate level teaching only. The candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET.

ii) For SET Candidates: The candidates who have cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Lectureship held prior to 1st June 2003, are exempted from appearing in NET, being eligible to apply for Lectureship anywhere in India. For SET held from 1st June 2003 onwards, the qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of lecturer only in the universities/ colleges belonging to the state from where they have cleared their SET. All SET qualified candidates are also eligible to appear in NET, if they so desire.

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will be held on 26th December, 2010 in two separate sessions as under:

Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. UGC has decided to provide choice to the candidates from the December 2009 UGC-NET onwards. Sixty (60) multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50). In the event of the candidate attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

Paper-II shall consist of questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each of these papers will consist of a Test Booklet containing 50 compulsory objective type questions of two marks each.

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet. The detailed instructions for filling up the OMR Sheet will be sent to the candidate along with the Admit Card.

Paper-III will consist of only descriptive questions from the subject selected by the candidate. The candidate will be required to attempt questions in the space provided in the Test Booklet. The structure of Paper-III has been revised from June, 2010 UGC-NET and is available on the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in.

6) EXAMINATION FEE AND MODE OF PAYMENT :
For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs.450/-; for Other Backward Classes (OBC), the fee isRs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates, it is Rs. 110/-. The fee should be paid in the form of a single crossed demand draft from any Government of India Bank/Scheduled Government Bank payable at their Service Branch, New Delhi/Delhi only with six months’ validity drawn in favour of the Secretary, U.G.C., New Delhi. Fee once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

7) SCHEME AND DATE OF TEST :
(i) The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will be held on 27.06.2010 in two separate sessions as under :

Syllabus of UGC NET Test: Syllabi for all NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC Website www.ugc.ac.in and are also available in the libraries of all Indian universities. UGC will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.

IMPORTANT :
i) The national level Test for determining the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship/Lectureship in science subjects (Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; Physical Sciences) is conducted jointly with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. HOW TO APPLY (APPLICATIONS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED ONLINE) :

STEPS FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM


i)	The candidates are required to download the Bank Challan Performa from the UGC website OR take photocopy from the UGC-NET Notification published in the Employment News and then deposit the requisite test fee in any branch of State Bank of India along with the bank charges (commission) of Rs.20/-.

ii)	Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the following : (i) Scanned passport (pp) size photograph in JPEG format should be less then 300kb, (ii) Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt)

iii)	Candidate seeking admission to the Test must apply online (i.e.www.ugcnetonline.in OR through a link available on the UGC website:www.ugc.ac.in).

iv)	After successful submission, the candidate should take printout of online Application Form (two copies), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.

v)	SC/ST/PH/VH candidates and candidates belonging to OBC (as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in ) must enclose the attested copy of certificate for the same.

vi)	Candidates seeking age relaxation must enclose the certificate of educational qualification/research experience entitling the candidates for age relaxation. (for details, please see item no. 4).

vii)	The Application (consisting of two copies of printout of online application form, one copy Attendance Slip and one copy Admission card) alongwith required documents (as mentioned in item No. 13) must reach the Registrar of the University (UGC Test Centre).

viii)	Application received after 1.11.2010 at the Test Centre will be rejected.

ix)	Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available at UGC website and also to be shortly published in the Employment News. Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

x)	The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP, DECEMBER, 2010”.

xi)	The candidates must affix their recent identical passport size photographs, at the places indicated, on the printout of Online Application Form and must sign across the photograph after it is affixed so that a part of the signature spreads over the Application Form beyond the photograph. Besides, it should be duly attested by the Head of the University Department/Principal of the College/Class-I Gazetted Officer.

xii)	In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. UGC will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature.

12) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

i)	The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility as given at item no. 3 carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the Test before filling the online application and submitting the printout of Online Application Forms.

ii)	Candidates will be issued the Admission Card by the respective Test Centres. Candidates should note that their candidature is strictly provisional. The mere fact that Admission Card has been issued to any candidate shall not imply that the Commission has finally accepted his/her candidature.

iii)	UGC may change the centre(s) or date of examination without assigning any reason.

iv)	Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.

v)	No TA will be paid to the candidates.

vi)	Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

vii)	The decision of the Commission shall be final in all matters.

viii)	All legal disputes pertaining to this Test shall fall within the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.

ix)	Candidates should correspond only with their respective Test centres for Admission Card or any other relevant information. UGC will not entertain any requests/queries in this regard.

x)	The use of calculators or Log Tables is not permitted. Cellular phones, pagers etc. are not allowed in the Examination Hall/Room.

xi)	A candidate who does not appear in paper-I, will not be permitted to appear in paper-II and paper-III.

xii)	Candidates will not be allowed to write any question from the Test Booklet on the Admission Card or on any other paper.

xiii)	Those candidates who do not receive their Admission Card (Roll Number) after allotment of the venue of the Test by the coordinator of the respective Test Centre for appearing in the UGC-NET till 23rd June 2010, are advised to contact the office of Registrar/Co-ordinator of their UGC-NET Centres from 24th to 26th June, 2010, with the copy of Admission Card (Provisional) and two identical passport-size photographs duly attested by a gazetted officer. No Admission Card (Roll Number) will be issued on the day of the Test (i.e. 27th June, 2010) under any circumstances. UGC will not be responsible for any delay/non-receipt of the Admission card.

xiv)	The descriptive papers, i.e., Paper-III of language subjects must be answered in the concerned language only.

xv)	Candidates should ensure that the signatures appended and photographs pasted by them in all the places, viz. in their Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card should be identical and there should be no variation of any kind.

xvi)	The candidates in their own interest are requested to keep a photocopy of the Application Form, Admission Care and Attendance Slip for their own record.

xvii)	Applications submitted on any other format (including UGC old format ) will not be accepted.

xviii)	Print out of online application sent directly to the UGC will not be accepted.

xix)	Applications submitted (hard copy) in any other format/form or received after last date will not be accepted.

xx)	Submission of Online Application is mandatory. Hard copies submitted to the Test Centre without online submission, will not be accepted.

13) ENCLOSURES TO BE SENT WITH THE APPLICATION

	The candidates should send the following documents with their application:

i)	Copy of Bank Challan (UGC copy).

ii)	Copy of SC/ST/Visually Handicapped/Physically Handicapped/ OBC (Non creamy layer) certificates, in case applicable.

iii)	certificate of educational qualification/research experience, in case applicable, entitling the candidate for age relaxation, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

iv)	Two self addressed unstamped envelopes of 10” X 4” size.

14) CHECK LIST FOR FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

	The candidates are advised to ensure the following points carefully before filling the Online Application Forms:

i)	Whether they fulfil the eligibility conditions for the Test as prescribed under the heading ‘CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY’ and ‘AGE LIMIT’.

ii)	That they have filled their CATEGORY, viz., GEN/SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), in the relevant column correctly.

iii)	That the VH/PH candidates have filled the relevant column in the Online Application Form. Only VH/PH candidates have to fill this column and the others have to leave it blank.

iv)	Whether they have signed the printout of Online Application Form Admission Card and Attendance Slip.

v)	Whether they have enclosed the required documents with the application form before submission.

Here are some of the tips and techniques to score well in CSIR UGC NET examination. Follow them at the best. Good Luck.

Writing skills matter a lot in the CSIR UGC NET Examination. Most of the candidates appearing for the CSIR UGC NET examination have a lot of knowledge, but lack writing skills.
You should be able to present all the information/knowledge in a coherent and logical manner, as expected by the examiner.
For example: Quoting with facts and substantiating your answer with related concepts and emphasizing your point of view.
Preparations for CSIR UGC NET examination should be done intensively.
After deciding the questions one should sort out the CSIR UGC NET question papers according to the syllabus topics.
If one analyses these questions, after sometime the questions are repeated in one form or the other.
Prepare a standard answer to the question papers of the previous years. This will also make your task easy at the CSIR UGC NET examination.
Do Not miss the concepts. Questions asked are of the Masters level examination.
Sometimes the questions are ‘conceptual’ in nature, aimed at testing the comprehension levels of the basic concepts.
Get a list of standard textbooks from the successful candidates, or other sources and also selective good notes.
The right choice of reading material is important and crucial. You should not read all types of books as told by others.
Always target for writing section even while preparing for objective questions. As there is much in common for study and there is little time for preparation for the wriiten part II examination.
While studying for the subjects, keep in mind that there is no scope for selective studies in CSIR UGC NET.
The whole syllabus must be covered thoroughly. Equal stress and weight should be given all the sections of the syllabus.
Note that in the ultimate analysis both subjects carry exactly the same amount of maximum marks.
For subjects like Mathematics and Statistics and Geography maps etc, practice is very important.
One should also practice other subjects and should not treat the same examination, as an “experience gathering” exercise to get a chance for writing mains is a great thing, which you may not get again.
Go through the unsolved papers of the previous papers and solve them to stimulate the atmosphere of the examination.
Stick to the time frame. Speed is the very essence of this examination. Hence, time management assumes crucial importance.
For developing the writing skills, keep writing model answers while preparing for the CSIR UGC NET examination. This helps get into the habit of writing under time pressure in the Mains examination.
Never be over confident with your writing skills. It is too subjective and behavioral.
Develop and follow your own style of writing. Try not to be repetitive and maintain a flow in the style of your writing.
Never try to imitate others in the style of writing.
Sequential and systematic style of answering comes after a lot of practice and analysis of standard answers.
Try to stimulate the actual examination hours to judge the performance and to plug any loopholes.
Try not to exceed the word limit, as far as possible. Sticking to the word limit that will save time. Besides, the number of marks you achieve are not going to increase even if you exceed the word limit. It’s the quality that matters not the quantity.
Revision of subjects is very important. The reason is that you have been preparing for months or years together.
It is a human tendency to forget something after some time.
Donot bother yourselves if you are unable to revise everything before examination.
Write it legibly as it will simplify the evaluator’s task and he can read the answers easily.
Highlight the important points which are important.
Follow paragraph writing rather than essay form. A new point should start with a new paragraph.
If the question needs answer in point format give it a bullet format.
Keep sufficient space between two lines.
Try to maintain uniformity in your writing throughout the paper.
Under time pressure, the script should not go from bad to worse in the later stages of the answer sheets. This may irritate the evaluator.
Don’t count words after every answer. If you have practiced well you should reflexively know the approximate limit you made. Give space and divide it by a dividing line between two questions.
Above all be patient and believe in God.

Heres how… in the inbox for example; u wanna delete multiple sms, simply hold the edit button, scroll down, and then, press c to delete the marked sms. The edit button can also b used to copy and past text in sms, simply hold it and scroll across, choose copy. pretty good for placing song names in ngages
Tip 2 : Shit happens, on a smartphone, its inevitable u do something wrong, and tis calls for a format of fone. to format the fone, press *#7370#, then enter the lock code, which is the sec code of the fone. NOTE: batt must b full, else if format is disrupted by low batt, consequences will b disatrous
I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i tink.
for 6600 users, to format the fone, theres an alternative way. Press and hold , and Call (Send) buttons, then power on fone, keep holding on the 3 buttons, till u come to a format screen. this method ONLY works on 6600, and need not enter the sec code. BUT sec code would be reset to default 12345.
Tip 3 : TO NGAGE USERS; Did u know u can install .sis files simply using the cable given? Juz plug it in, place the .sis file anywhere on e: (the mmc), not in any folders, root of e:, disconnect, then look for it in manager.

Tip 4: Save on battery and system memory being used by regulary checking the task manager which can be accessed by holding down the menu button!!
Tip 5: Type *#06# to display your IMEI serial number, very valuable for the unlocking your phone to other sim cards

First up, you need to know what Bluetooth is. There are lots of types of modern devices that incorporate Bluetooth as one of their many features. PDAs, mobile phones and laptops are a few of these modern devices. Bluetooth means that Bluetooth enabled devices can send things like phonebook/address book contacts, pictures & notes to other Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly over a range of about 10 metres. So, we’ve got past the boring part. Now, using a phone with Bluetooth, you can create a phonebook contact and write a message, eg. ‘Hello, you’ve been bluejacked’, in the ‘Name’ field. Then you can search for other phones with Bluetooth and send that phonebook contact to them. On their phone, a message will popup saying “‘Hello, you’ve been bluejacked’ has just been received by Bluetooth” or something along those lines. For most ‘victims’ they will have no idea as to how the message appeared on their phone.

A Soft-reset - the process of resetting all the settings of the phone to the factory default! No applications are deleted! A Hard-reset is like formatting a drive! It does format the memory. Everything that has been installed after the first use of the phone is deleted! It will recover the memory of the phone to the state you purchased it! It is done by inputing the following code: *#7370# NOTE: The battery must be full or the charger has to be connected to the phone so that it does not run out of power and make the phone unusable.

Turn on/off the “click” sound made by the camera by selecting the ‘Silent’ profile or by turning warning tones on/off:

Start up in Safe Mode so no ‘auto start’ apps will be running:

To make sure that no memory-resident programs start when you reboot your phone,
hold down the pencil key when you turn on the phone and hold it on untill you have to enter your PIN code.
(When you have trouble booting up the phone with the MMC in it because it got corrupted for some reason, this trick will
almost always let you boot up the phone so you can remove the latest installed app which might have caused the
problem or if your phone is “unrepairable” you can still back up your important data before you do a format.)

Q: How to totally format your Nokia 3650 and remove all installed applications, user files and restore all
settings to default like it’s new out of the box? (OEM apps won’t be deleted like Camera and RealOne Player).

A: First Format your MMC: Menu > Extras > Memory > Options > Format mem. card > Yes.
Note: It is very important to format your MMC before you format your phone!
Then format your phone by typing *#7370# on main Phone screen.
Phone will ask: “Restore all original phone settings? Phone will restart.” Press ‘Yes’ and enter your Lock code (default is 12345).
Tip: Formatting takes several minutes so you’d better connect your Nokia 3650
to a charger to ensure that your battery doesn’t get empty in the middle of formatting.
Note: All your created acces points and mailboxes will be lost so take a note of them. And all application settings will be reset.
E.g. In Camera, image quality is set back to normal and memory in use is set back to phone memory. And also in Messages,
memory in use is set back to phone memory, etc. Also backup your contacts with PC Suite or a program like Contacts Manager.

To reset your wallet, should you forget your code,
Type in:
*#7370925538#
this will reset the wallet code, the wallet contents will be deleted.

How to free more RAM on your phone >>>

>>> Method 1: Flight mode:
Put your phone in “Flight mode” with Psiloc System Tools. Install System Tools, open it and select “Flight mode”. This way you can restart the phone without your SIM card so there will be no running phone tasks in the background. Now you can have up to 3,5 MB of free RAM!

Note: ironically enough, Flight mode doesn’t work when Smart Launcher is installed, at least in my case.
But i’ve also heard several reports of people who have both apps running without any problems.

>>> Method 2: Smart Launcher trick:
Install Smart Launcher and open it. Go to Options, Settings and put Launcher ON.
Now plug in your charger and switch off your phone. Wait untill the battery meter appears and short press the Menu button (don’t hold).
The menu should appear and now you can have 3,5 to 4,5 MB free RAM! (Hold Menu button to check RAM).

The trick is that with the charger plugged in, the phone must get a minimum software support for charging, even when
the phone is switched off. And somehow Smart Launcher has still got it’s shortcut running and that’s the Menu button. So when
you press the Menu button, you go directly to the Menu without any other phone tasks running in the background so
you trick the phone and you have more free RAM!
Note: when you unplug the charger, the phone will switch off.

>>> Method 3: Menu :
This method I found it by myself, it frees a little about 100~200 KB but I guess it’s useful sometime

Close your menu not by selecting the right selection key “exit”, or pressing the menu key another time, they only hide the menu app but do not close it, to close it select the left selection key “option” and scroll down and select “exit”

So when you open an app needs more ram reopen menu and close it, it’s useful when play low bit rate video in realplayer paradis.

5 Things We Hate About Google

Google is undoubtedly the best search engine, and in many ways an equally great company. It has an unchallenged marketshare that is steadily increasing. And it is always producing new products and making strategic acquisitions.

But enough with all of the accolades! Here are 5 things that we hate about Google.

1. Search Dominance

Google has a near monopoly on search. Yahoo, Cuil, and Live cannot even begin to compete with it. And while Google has pledged to "Do no evil", doesn’t it make you nervous to think of what might happen if Google drastically changed? What would happen if Google started charging for inclusion or giving websites priority based on how much they paid to rise in the ranks? Of course, I doubt that this will ever happen, but the economy is changing. And as Google pulls in less revenue and its stocks dip, they might be forced to pass the buck on to their users.

2. Data Collection

Google collects a whole lot of data. They gather data from user search patterns. They gather data from Gmail, to display relevant ads as you catch up with your email. And they gather data from the use of almost all of its other products.

I wonder, what does Google do with it all?

3. Unscheduled Pagerank Updates

Probably the most annoying thing about Google, is that they don’t schedule their toolbar pagerank updates. And if you’ve ever experienced the anxious wait for the update, you probably agree that it’d save you a lot of gray hair if they just supplied a date.

4. Endless Product Betas

It seems like Google launches a new product ever week. And while I like most of their products — we faithfully use Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Translate, and Google Chrome — one thing that bothers me is that their products often stay in the beta stage for an extended period of time. And in some cases, some great products never leave the beta stage before the cord is pulled. Of course, the beta stage is useful for testing and getting the kinks out, but Google is known for their especially lengthy betas.

5. The Ever-Changing Algorithm

One of the most recent things that you might find frustrating is that Google’s index is more fluid than ever before. This means that your rankings for keywords are always changing; one day you may be on the front page of Google, and the next day you may be on the tenth. And the steady traffic that you might have depended on in the past, is probably fluctuating as well. These changes are making webmasters dig deep for new tricks and better SEO techniques to retain their placement.

Microsoft lays off employees with H-1B visa

Microsoft, which has recently announced shedding some 5,000 jobs, will be giving pink slips to H-1B visa holders too, despite acknowledging that this category of workers has a significant contribution to the company's success.

Microsoft, in a letter to Senator Charles Grassley, has said the H-1B work visa programme helped hire the best available talent of the world.

The present Microsoft line can be seen in the context of the policies of the Obama regime, which gives preference to companies hiring Americans in giving bail-out.

H1-B employees have always accounted for less than 15 per cent of Microsoft's US workforce, the level that is used in immigration law to determine whether a company is "H-1B dependent," the letter said.

Answering a specific question from the Senator on H-1B people losing their jobs, Microsoft said: "Workers on H-1B visas and other temporary work visas make up only a small percentage of our overall workforce, but they were also among the employees impacted by the reductions announced in January. Employees outside the United States were also impacted."

સોરી, લેખનું શીર્ષક વાંચીને લેખ વાંચવા લોભાયા હો તો પહેલેથી ચોખવટ કે નિરાશ થવાના છો. ઇન્ટરનેટ પર આવી લોભામણી હેડલાઇન્સ અને છેતરામણાં પ્રોમીસ ધરાવતી અનેક વેબસાઇટ્સનો રાફડો ફાટયો છે અને, વાચકોના નિખાલસ ઇ-મેઇલ્સથી લાગે છે કે અનેક લોકો તેમાં સહેલાઈથી ફસાઈ રહ્યાં છે. ઇન્ટરનેટ પર કમાણી કરવાનો વિચાર કરતા હો તો નીચેના મુદ્દાઓ પર ખાસ ઘ્યાન આપજો...
ઇન્ટરનેટ જાદૂઈ ચિરાગ નથી, જે તમને લગભગ કશું કર્યા વિના અઢળક કમાણી કરાવી આપે. અનેક સાઇટ્સ, તમને વેબપેજ કે બ્લોગ બનાવી આપીને, તેને ગૂગલની એડસેન્સ સર્વિસ સાથે લિંક કરી આપી, ધરખમ કમાણીનું વચન આપે છે. જેનો, અફકોર્સ, તેઓ તમારી ચાર્જ વસૂલે છે. ખાસ એ જાણી લો કે ગૂગલના www.blogger.com પર બિલકુલ મફતમાં સરેરાશ બ્લોગ બની શકે છે. આ કામ ઇ-મેઇલ એકાઉન્ટ ખોલાવવા જેટલું જ સહેલું છે. બ્લોગ બન્યા પછી, ગૂગલ એડસેન્સની મદદથી તમારા બ્લોગ પર જાહેરાતો મૂકવાનું કામ પણ સહેલું અને મફત છે.

ઉપલા પોઇન્ટમાં બ્લોગ, એડસેન્સ વગેરે શબ્દો તમે માત્ર સાંભળ્યા જ હોય અને કોઈ કંપની તમારા માટે એ બધું કરીને કમાણી કરાવી આપવાનું વચન આપે તો મહેરબાની કરીને તેના પર ભરોસો કરી, તમારી મહેનતના હજાર રૂપિયા ગુમાવશો નહીં. બેંકની માહિતી તો ન જ આપશો.

જાણવું જ હોય તો, એડસેન્સ શું છે એ થોડું જાણો. આ સર્વિસમાં, ગૂગલ તમારી વેબસાઈટ પરના કન્ટેન્ટને સંબંધિત જાહેરાતો તમારી સાઇટ કે બ્લોગ પર મૂકે છે. એ જાહેરાત આપનાર કંપની ગૂગલને રકમ ચૂકવે છે અને તમારા મુલાકાતી એ જાહેરાત પર કિલક કરે તો ગૂગલ તમને ‘કંઈક’ રકમ ચૂકવે છે. આ ‘કંઈક’નો બધો આધાર, તમારી સાઇટ પર મૂકાતી જાહેરાત માટે ગૂગલને કેટલી રકમ મળી છે તેના પર છે. માત્ર સાઇટ કે બ્લોગ બનાવી દેવાથી આવક શરૂ થતી નથી.

તમારે ઘણા કોઠા ભેદવાના હોય છે. સૌથી પહેલાં તો ગૂગલને તમારી સાઇટ કે બ્લોગ, તેને કંઈક વળતર અપાવે તેવાં લાગવાં જોઈએ. પછી, તમારી સાઇટ કે બ્લોગ પર લોકોને કંઈક એવું રસપ્રદ મળવું જોઈએ, જે જોવા-વાંચવા વધુ ને વધુ લોકો તમારા મહેમાન બને. બીજું, તમારું કન્ટેન્ટ એવું હોવું જોઈએ, જેના સંદર્ભમાં મૂકવા જેવી જાહેરાતો ગૂગલને મળી હોવી જોઈએ. અને છેલ્લે, તમારા મુલાકાતી એ જાહેરાત ફકત જુએ નહીં, પણ એના પર કિલક કરવા જોઈએ.

આ બધાને અંતે પાતળી કમાણી થઈ શકે ખરી, પણ એ માટે સીધા જ ગૂગલ પર વિશ્વાસ મૂકવો અને બધું જ કોઈ રકમ ચૂકવ્યા વિના કરવું. ‘તમે ફકત સિર્ફંગ કરો, કિલક કરતા રહો, અમે તમને પેમેન્ટ કરીશું’ આવાં વચન આપતી અનેક વેબસાઇટ પણ છે. બિલકુલ નવરા હો ને સમય બગાડવો જ હોય તો તમારા જોખમે આવો અખતરો કરો.

મૂળ વાત એ કે ઇન્ટરનેટની દુનિયા આપણી સાચી દુનિયાથી અલગ નથી. અહીં પણ કશું કર્યા વિના, કોઈ આવડત વિના, કમાણી શકય નથી. બીજાને લૂંટનારા અહીં કમાઈ શકે છે, તમારા ભોળપણ/અજ્ઞાન લોભને કારણે. સૌથી પહેલાં લખ્યું તેમ, નિરાશ કરવા બદલ સોરી!‘

The Windows 7 taskbar displays previews of running programs via some very cool thumbnails. To speed up these thumbnails so that they appear instantly, follow these simple steps:

1. Open Notepad.
2. Copy and paste the following into the new text document:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse] “MouseHoverTime”=”0″

3. Save the document as speedy_thumbnails.reg.

4. Double-click the new file to merge it into the Registry.

5. Continue through the UAC prompt and confirm that you wish to perform the action.

6. Restart you computer (or simply stop and start Explorer.exe from the Task Manager).
