Continuing with the topic of the “Earn Easy Money At Home Conspiracy”, let’s start talking about the payment fairness. I don’t want to get into the discussion if these online home jobs sites pay or not when the proper amount is requested since, apparently, some do and some don’t. But what about the paid amount?. Is it fair to pay 0.01$ or 0.02$ for reading an email, clicking on the link and wait some seconds so you get acknowledge as “viewed”?. Is it fair to get paid 0.50$ to answer a 30 minutes long survey?.

Well, it obviously depends much on the costs of life in the country you live. As estimation you can take your regular salary (if you have a job) and calculate how much you actually get paid per minute based on your monthly net income.

Then the relation is easy, for example, looking at the average monthly salary in the US, 2500$ you will earn something like 0.20$ per minute. If we compare it with the email readying task (it takes approximately 1 min), we can see that you will earn 10 to 20 times less, and similarly with in the case of the surveys.

You can claim that your 2500$ salary comes from a tough 5 year university education and it is not comparable to an unqualified job. Fair enough, we will reverse the problem.

If we assume that you earn 0.02$ per minute with the online job and assuming that you do it constantly for one hour you would hypothetically earn 1.2$ per hour, insultingly low, right?. The question is: Is it fair to pay such low wages as long as both parties agree? Well, the answer is NO, we do have laws against slavery that set a minimum legal wage for workers. For example, in the US minimum salary is 7.25 $ per hour (in certain states), take your own conclusions, 1.2<<<<7.25.

So or the company is based on a country were the minimum salary is lower than what they hypothetically would pay for a continuous online job, or there is obviously a serious law infringement.

In conclusion, this is not about selling yourself CHEAP, it is about giving yourself for FREE. However, if you can find surveys for a couple of dollars and 10 minutes long, that sould be fine, and actually they do exist out there.

From now on I will refer to these sites as "online slavery jobs".

Have to ever tried the so called “online home jobs”?. Well I have, and I am getting so frustrated that I have decided to write about.

Online jobs consist of very basic paid tasks that you perform from home with just a PC and an Internet connection. These could be reading emails, answering survey or clicking on publicity banners. Also I would like to include some cases of freelancer job such as data entry, content writing or documents translation because they promote more slavery than fair working conditions. And this is exactly what I want to highlight. More than complain or criticize these web or employers, I want comment my point of view of how they work, how they make business and what you do (maybe without realizing it) to promote their copious profits.

If you search on the net for the keywords related to the topic to find reliable information, most likely, the first 200 results will be webs that, in one way or the other, what they want is you to click on the link of the company they have a deal with. But for sure not clear picture of how this business works. Some of these webs are be very “light”, just as forum or a blog where they tell you how they could earn some extra money very easily. Others, the most annoying, they dare to say “Hi, my name is James and I am make 3000$ monthly working 2 hours per day answering online surveys”. Well James, obviously no you are not.

Therefore, if you are lucky enough to end up reading this, you will not find any reference to any of these webs from my side, just a pure subjective opinion with no intention of promoting any of these activities. Simply, what I was searching for but not finding.

From now on I will progressively publish my deep thoughts about these issues, and hopefully this will help people to realize what is going on. I am not a writer, at all, nor my mother tongue is English, so please do not expect perfection on my articles. On the other hand, I hope the honesty in the discussion will compensate the language.

Who knows, if these works, maybe I will keep commenting many other common life unfair experiences….
