Brooke begins a dangerous journey in an effort to find out who is after her and how to stop them. In a world with powerful and prejudiced vampires, Brooke must tap into the side of her that she never knew existed at the risk of losing her life in order to save it.

My thoughts:
When I first got this book I was really excited to read it, it was one of the first books I picked up right away in a long time. This book was such a good read I didn't ever want to put it down. The chapters are fairly short and so is the book only 263 pages long. Making it and easy intimidating read for almost everyone. This book went by really fast for me because of the story line. It grabbed me right away and I loved it all the way through. The main character Brooke was very easy for me to understand her thinking process. She was a character I could get along with and not get annoyed easily by.Everything what brooke was going through made since to me. For what she was trying to think of herself but also getting stronger was very inspiring. The romance in this book diffidently helped me keep reading this book. It made you want to find out what see was going to do next. I loved the way the action was described with a lot of detail in it.Made it easier for you to picture it all so easily and made the reading just zoom by. Angeline Kace was very original with all the different terms she used through out the book. She also created another language through out the book which for anyone would be hard to do. It was all very believable and very well organized. The book does end with kind of a cliffhanger which I do enjoy it. I just loved it soo much mostly all I can say for this book is I want more now!

Youtube?

2012-04-06T09:23:00.003-07:00

I have been thinking about doing some youtube stuff like maybe doing some imms or maybe some reviews on there. Not really sure though I think it would be a diffident thing to look out for I think I would enjoy it and I just wanted to check and see what you people thought about it? Some World of Warcraft Beta News!

2012-04-05T20:24:00.000-07:00

They already started to invite people for the beta and it is worth it if you have already had the annual pass. I have got to see first hand on some of the beta stuff already and I think they are still making it easier. They made so that when you level up your new spells are automatically trained. So you don't have to run back an forth. Which I actually do enjoy doing so I am kinda sad. The pandas are super cute but you don't really get to change their faces too much. Just like the patterns on their faces. Anyways I don't wanna give to much away but it is really different. Hopefully the changes won't hurt their customers. Oh and the Pandas are not rip offs of Kung fu Panda, they originally had it in the world of warcraft before the first world of warcraft. So that is my two scents on this whole thing I'll post more on it when your able to.

Wow # 3

2012-04-04T04:26:00.000-07:00

This is of course originally hosted by Jill over at Breaking the spine. For this week's pick I chose Skeleton Women by Mimgmei Yip. This book doesn't come out till May 25th 2012. I am actually really excited for this book it. I think I will really enjoy it anyways here's the synopsis for it.

Synopsis:
Once upon a time in China, the most beautiful and gifted women were known as “skeleton women”—the ultimate femme fatales who could bring a man to his knees, or to his doom…
When Camilla, a young orphan girl in Shanghai, is adopted and brought to live in luxury, it seems like a stroke of luck. But as Camilla grows to womanhood, she realizes that her “rescue” was part of gang leader Big Brother Wang’s scheme. Camilla is trained in singing, dancing, knife-throwing and contortion—all to attract the attention of Wang’s enemy, the ruthless Master Lung.

Forced to become Master Lung’s mistress, Camilla meets two other intriguing women. Shadow is a magician and rival for Master Lung’s affections, while Rainbow Chang dresses like a man and wields power through her incendiary gossip column. Both pose risks to Camilla’s safety and status. But an even greater danger comes in the form of Master Lung’s eldest son, Jinying, who despises his father’s violent lifestyle—but loves Camilla. Only by plotting to eliminate Lung can she make her escape, but at what cost?

What do you think? Do you think it would be a book you'd like to read?

They are chrome, yes that's right chrome :) They come in three colors red, blue and silver. Sadly they won't be available till mid may. Sadly so anyways will you get these beautiful controllers?

They are gonna be as much as they always are when new controllers first come out. Its going to be $54.99. I think that's a lot for accessories its almost as much as a brand new game. But they are beautiful and I kinda think they are worth it if you want bad ass wireless controllers.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Review!

2012-03-31T15:59:00.000-07:00

Designer: Team Ninja, Tecmo

Publisher: Tecmo koei

Release Date: March 20th, 2012

Rated: M for Mature

How I got it: I bought it

Wasn't expecting this from team ninja....Its Amazing! First off let me say that team ninja has always had good graphics if not great graphics. This game is no different it looks amazing and there is tons of blood to go along with it. Who doesn't love blood? This Ninja Gaiden does have more of a story line then the rest and its actually interesting to keep you going. I did enjoy this story line, I thought it was like watching a movie. The fighting style is more easier to play then the other Ninja Gaiden's at least on the mode I played on which was
Ninja: Normal. It does remind me of God of War's fighting style more then previous Ninja Gaidens but that is also why I like it. I loved all the God of Wars so maybe that is why I am a fan of this game so much. Anyways you move through enemies so fast its ridiculous and fun. No matter how many enemies they send on you, the fighting style makes it so its not the same thing over and over again. I almost beat the game in one day because of the fact that it was so much fun. A lot of people say there is only one sword through out the game. That isn't true as you go through the story mode you do pick up different types of swords. Yes it may seem like there is only the same sword but really its not if you'd pay attention. You do only get one bow and I think its awesome. The game is more realistic were you don't heal yourself or collect orbs. I think the only bad thing is you can't upgrade your armor or weapons. It is fun to level your stuff up but the game play is fun on its own too. This game is diffidently worth a buy no matter what Ign has to say about it. If you are a Ninja Gaiden fan then you wont be disappointed.

Beastly by Alex Flinn Review and Movie comparison!

2012-03-30T17:27:00.001-07:00

Author: Alex Flinn

Release Date: October 7th, 2012

Edition: Hardcover (304 pages)

Published by: Harper teen

How I got this: I bought it

Goodreads Link

Synopsis:I am a beast. A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog, but a horrible new creature who walks upright – a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.

You think I’m talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It’s no deformity, no disease. And I’ll stay this way forever – ruined – unless I can break the spell.

Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and a perfect life. And then, I’ll tell you how I became perfectly beastly.

My thoughts:

I did enjoy this book, I thought it was neat that there was I.M. chatting in between the chapters. The chapters in this book were only 2 to 4 pages long. Which did make the reading of this book go by super fast. I thought that it was a clever retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Of course at first in the book I didn't like the Kyle but that is what the author wanted was for you to think he was snobby which he was.I did enjoy Kendra's part through out the book how she saw him as judging as everyone else failed to notice. I enjoyed the story line of the book and thought it was all very clever. The author's writing style made for a really easy read through out the whole book. I didn't stop reading this because it got boring or to confusing. This book really made me want to watch the movie that they came out after it.

The movie was pretty close to the book in the main story line. They're of course were changes in the movie from the book. I actually liked the fact that they made the beginning high school stuff more mature. Instead of a school dance they were voting for the main person of a green society. I did enjoy the movie overall I thought it was very cute. I didn't think I'd like Vanessa Hudgens in this movie but I did end up liking her and forgetting that it was her.I also thought the actor who played Kyle, did do a really good job of acting cocky at the beginning and changing. All and all it was all really good. Diffidently a watch even if you haven't read the book.

Playstation 4 Breaking News!

2012-03-29T18:35:00.001-07:00

Today I read that the new PlayStation four will not be backwards compatible or be able to use used games?? Wait what? So the new PlayStation four won't offer software for previous PlayStation? That is really messed up, all the money you spend on Ps3 will be all useless then. Hopefully they will do something about this because I am sure the Xbox 720 you will be able to play xbox 360 games on it. So anyways what do you guys think about this?

Goodreads Site..

Release Date: October 2nd, 2012

Pages: 400

Published by: Greenwillow

Synopsis:
Inhale. Exhale. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe . . .
The world is dead.
The survivors live under the protection of Breathe, the corporation that found a way to manufacture oxygen-rich air.
ALINA
has been stealing for a long time. She’s a little jittery, but not terrified. All she knows is that she’s never been caught before. If she’s careful, it’ll be easy. If she’s careful.
QUINN
should be worried about Alina and a bit afraid for himself, too, but even though this is dangerous, it’s also the most interesting thing to happen to him in ages. It isn’t every day that the girl of your dreams asks you to rescue her.
BEA
wants to tell him that none of this is fair; they’d planned a trip together, the two of them, and she’d hoped he’d discover her out here, not another girl.
And as they walk into the Outlands with two days’ worth of oxygen in their tanks, everything they believe will be shattered. Will they be able to make it back? Will they want to?

So what book are you excited for that is coming out this year?

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins Review

2012-03-26T04:35:00.000-07:00

Author:Suzanne Collins

Release Date: August 24th, 2010

Publisher: Scholastic Press

Edition: Hardcover (390 pages)

How I got this: I bought it

My thoughts:
Being that this is the third book and maybe not everyone has read it I won't be adding spoilers to my review. I think that these book is different from the other two. It is a lot more serious than the other two, but I think that I liked this one more. Although I didn't want the sires to end it had to and I just had to know what happened. I think that as a sires as a whole its one of the best sires around. I think it will always be around and talked of and compared to for future generations. I am sad that it took me so long to read them, but I am glad I finally did. I did like this book a lot and I think it may have been my favorite one. I am not sure though since I do love the first one. Through out the series it was hard for me to choose who I liked more Peeta or Gale well this book made me like Peeta more!Anyways it is amazing and I do love this book. It diffidently makes you think a lot about what may have really happened in this book. Mockingjay did make me cry at some spots but they are worth it. Great book and the prefect ending to The Hunger Games.

I am using this book for these challenges:

My entry for 2012 Dystopia Challenge!

2012-03-22T17:59:00.004-07:00

What its all about:

The Dystopia challenge is for those who love it and for those who have never tried it. From negative utopia to plain ol’ totalitarian, there’s much to love about Dystopia and many ways it can be written.

If you’re not sure what it is check out Diva Schuylers’s post and learn all about it, but for a quick run down think of unpleasant living situations, pure dystopia being when an entity or social force is involved, but you can think outside the circle with this one.

This is hosted by: Bookishardour

I am gonna pick challenge level 3 : Solider reading 30 books.

Books that I have read for this challenge are:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
MockingJay by Suzanne Collins

will add more later on...

Games that came out today!

2012-03-20T18:04:00.001-07:00

Ninja Gaiden 3 hit the shelves today. I have to say this game is really amazing and I've only played through the first 2 chapters.

Next came Resident evil : operation raccoon city. This games looks kind of interesting but I haven't played any of the other Resident evil games besides 3,4, and 5.

Another game that came out today was Silent Hill HD collection. This includes Silent Hill 2 and 3, they redid the voice acting and made so you can get achievement or trophies for these games. Yay!

Another game that also came out today was Armored Core V. I don't really know much about this game.

And lastly for new games today was Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure. Its a racing game through the worlds of five beloved Disney-Pixar films. That is all the games that came out today. What ones are you most excited for? Do you already have any of these games yet?

Catching Fire Review!

2012-03-19T18:22:00.000-07:00

Author : Suzanne Collins

Publisher:Scholastic Press

Release Date: September 1st ,2009

Edition: Hardcover (391 pages)

How I got this book: I bought it

Synopsis:

Against all odds, Katniss has won the Hunger Games. She and fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. Peeta has turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol - a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create.

Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she's afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her even more is that she's not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol's cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can't prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying.

In Catching Fire, the second novel of the Hunger Games trilogy, Suzanne Collins continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, testing her more than ever before... and surprising readers at every turn.

My thoughts:

This book is a very excellent book to the first! I absolutely loved it !!! I finished this book in 3 days because of life's interruptions. After reading the first book I was excited to read the next book "Catching Fire" because of the way the "Hunger Games" ended. After just finishing Catching Fire all I want to do is read MockingJay. This book really surprised me I think I might have liked this one more then The Hunger Games. I don't want to add a lot of spoilers. To this review because maybe someone hasn't read the second book. What I do have to say about this book is that it made me keep reading the pages. Katniss and Peeta both lived through the 74th Hunger games. Now they would be safe and be mentors from now on. Katniss realizes that she may have started something once she used the berries as an escape plan. Trying to prove that see still loves Petta to all the different districts turns out it was harder then she thought. Now that the Quarter Quell is this year, the Capital always throws in surprises like one year they chose four kids from each district instead of two. For the 75th hunger games they have and even bigger better surprise and trust me you don't want to miss it. The end of the book also throws you in a spin. Anyways this book is great and a diffident read if you have read the first.
