Naayak was released on 09-01-2013 in a grand scale, the best part is film stood up to the expectations and proved stamina of Ram Charan yet again at the box office, right from the day one film carried positive talk and it impressed not only fans but also common audience, it had a good comedy mixed with power packed performance from Ram Charan and stylish taking of V.V.Vinayak.

This film has created many records, it has collected a share of Rs.53 crores at the end of its Full run world wide. The film has enjoyed a superb run in the Ceded area, with the collections hovering around the 9 CR mark. This movie becomes the third film for Charan to cross the 7 CR mark in this area. In Malayalam also the movie was released as Naayak and collected a share of Rs.2 crores.Naayak bagged huge amounts through its satellite rights, audio rights and Hindi dubbing rights.Naayak completed 50 days in 58 theatres

In this movie, she will be playing charan’s love interest, who is in a live-in together relationship with him, while charan plays the tough cop’s role, as portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan in the original flick. Tell us more about the Zanjeer remake?
I loved the earlier Zanjeer and am really excited that I’m going to be a part of it.
I think I’m the actress who gets to act in all of Amitabh Bachchan’s movie remakes – Don, Agneepath and now Zanjeer.
Did you meet your Zanjeer co-star Ramcharan Tej?
Ya, we met. He was really sweet.
He came home with the entire team.
They’ll begin shooting first and I’ll join them later in september.
I’ll be adding new shades to the character because she is not an Indian girl.
It’ll be exciting working with Ram who is such a huge superstar down South.
Zanjeer is also a male-dominated film?
Well, when you are the only girl you are the relief in a movie. (Laughs) Especially if you’re me!
Did you have any apprehensions as Ram would be a beginner in Bollywood?
No! Or else I wouldn’t have had done the film.
Because of the kind of work he has done I have no doubts.

Ram Charan's Naayak has got clearance from Censor Board. The upcoming movie of Ram Charan is Naayak has finally been cleared by the censored with an A rating. The movie, which is slated for release on January 9, is all set to have a grand worldwide release and the buzz is that the movie is going to release in 2000 theatres.

Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are doing the female leading role. Naayak is directed by VV Vinayak. Koratala Shiva has provided the story and dialogues. SS Thaman has composed the music.

100 USA screen release for Naayak

Universal Media in association with Praneeth Media is going to release Naayak in over 100 screens in USA and Canada. This is a record among Telugu releases in USA. There will be 70 digital prints and sixteen 35mm prints. The prints will be delivered on time so that premieres can be held in a big scale on the evening of 8 January in USA. Chiranjeevi has seen the film and spoke in a trailer released today that Naayak is having all types of elements like comedy, action and emotion. He said that Charan reached bigger heights in terms of dances with Naayak film.

Censor Board gives Nayak 'A' certificate

Ram Charan starrer Nayak, which will come to theatres on 9th January, has got an A certificate from the censor board. The process of certification concluded today. While the Nayak team tried hard to get a U/A certificate, the board rapped an A certificate for the film.

As the title suggests the film will show Ram Charan as a leader. He plays dual role in the movie. Directed by V V Vinayak, the music for this film has been scored by Thaman. Danayya has produced the film, which has good amount of stunts, dialogues and glamour.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and director Boyapati Srinu will team up for a new project.Now it seems that this project has been confirmed and it will goes onto floors in February, 2013.

Director Boyapati who has earlier delivered the hit films like Bhadra, Thulasi, Simha and Dammu.

His last film Dammu did not met his expectations, so now he is waiting for an opportunity to comeback with a big bang.

Ram Charan has also agreed for this project and this movie will be produced by Alexander Vallabha under Creative Commercials banner while KS Rama Rao presents it.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej starrer Racha is currently being filmed in Ramoji Film City. Scenes on Ram Charan and Tamannah along with some prominent casts are being filmed currently.

Sampath Nandi the director of the movie is crafting it with a mix of action and entertainment. Music director Mani Sharma has remixed Chiranjeevi’s super hit number Vana Vana Velluvaye from the movie Gang Leader for Racha and inside sources reveal that the number would be one of the highlights of the film apart from the actions scenes.

Racha is being produced by Paras Jain and N.V.Prasad on Mega Super Good films banner with R.B.Chowdhary as the presenter. Racha will hit the screens in March 2012.
