Hey all, I wanted to let you know that I had done a post in regard to my opinion on an article I read about Callista Gingrich calling police on a breast feeding mother. Today, the site with the story has removed the article saying it was confirmed to be a fake story. You can read their retraction here:

Tips for Safe Winter Driving (from a PA mom) #Esurance

Living here in a PA, we get to experience noticeable season changes. I've experienced weather her from -5 with a windchill factor 15 below to 100 degrees on occasion in the summer. I'm always trying to prepare my care for each season. I probably do the most prep for the winter since our winter's a normally cold but otherwise unpredictable.

This year has been pretty mild so far (knock on wood) but here's is a pic in front of my house two years ago.

That was my car and I had just dug it our of the snow. I've since uprgraded to an all wheel drive SUV.

One of my biggest fears is that something is going to happen that my car won't start or my cars breaks down in weather like this and I'll have all 3 of my boys with me. While you can't predict everything, here are some tips to try to help prevent weather related problems.

--If you have a cell phone with you, make sure it's charged and ready to go. Getting into a fender bender or having your car not start is stressful enough but if you can't call someone to give you a jump start or call the police, or a tow truck it could be down right dangerous with dropping temperatures

--If you don't have a cell phone, make sure a friend or family member knows where you're going and about what time you expect to be back. If a bad weather related incident occurs at least that person would realize you should have been home and may be able to go looking for you or have someone else.

--Make sure you have the appropriate tires for the season. Keep the air at the proper pressure and be sure to check your tread

--Keep the fluids filled in your car including things like anti-freeze, windshield washer fluid, oil, and gas of course. Driving down the road with a truck splashing dirty, salty, ashy water on your windshield is not the time to realize you're out of windshield washer fluid.

--Make sure you have proper tools in your car like a working flashlight, jumper cables, small pourable bottle of some type of ice melt or salt in case you get stuck on an icy spot, and a tire iron or lug nut wrench.

--When the temperatures really drop it's a good idea to make sure your gas in your vehicle doesn't go below a quarter of a tank. When temps dip into 15, 10, and so on, if you don't have much gas in your car it can cause the gas to freeze in the lines. Then your car won't start.

--Allow yourself extra time to get from point A to point B. Whether it be going to work, taking the kids to school, or grocery shopping you want to make sure you don't have to rush and have time to concentrate on the road and other drivers. Also accidents happen in bad whether. No one will get there any sooner if this happens.

These are just a few of the tips I've learned along the way and use myself. I'm sure if I sat he for a while I could think of a few more. Please be safe, be courteous, be prepared, and take your time.

The group is made up of talented Irish women. Their music is growing in popularity all over the world. Their concert tours are becoming major events. Their music has sold over 7 million albums and dvds worldwide.

The new album "Believe" became available January 24, 2012. The dvd was filmed at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Some of the visual and music effects include a 20 piece orchestra, 7 piece Celtic Woman band, 16 piece Atlanta bag pipe band, 10 piece Aontas choir, 30 member children's choir, and a world champion Irish dancer formerly a lead performer in Riverdance! Phew, that really sounds like a lot of work went into this album.

When I initially pulled the Robby Wash Ball out of the box I noticed that it has a subtle soap-like scent. My husband tried the ball first with a few loads of laundry. He thought it worked fine. In his words "It worked alright, the clothes are clean." Then I decided to try it myself with some of my toddler's clothes. I gave the stain stick a try.

I tried the stain stick on one of my toddler's shirts. He got spaghetti sauce and chocolate on the end of each of his sleeves. The stain stick also has a sort of soapy scent. It almost reminds me of a glue stick with the way it looks and applies.

You simply throw the Robby ball in with your laundry. No need to add any other laundry detergent. The fuscia colored ball is meant to be used in temps 32-90 degree fahrenheit. Perfect for me because I try to wash all my clothes in either cold or warm water. I rarely ever use the hot setting. If you do, there is also a blue Robby Wash ball available for hotter washes.

This is the after on my toddler's shirt. You can still see a slight hint of spaghetti sauce on the sleeve on the left side of the picture but it completely took it out on the sleeve on the right side. To be honest, even when I use "other" detergents or stain removes often there's still a hint of the stain and I have to rewash. So I'd say this laundry ball and stain stick can compete with other laundry detergents.

The Original Wood Floor Care comes in a 20 fl oz. flip top squeeze bottle. Squeeze a little on a 4' X 4' area at a time and mop over it with a damp map. That's it. This one has a different scent and it's very subtle. To me it's a combination of lemon and soap smell.

The Original Wood Floor Care is meant for sealed wood floors and laminate flooring. I have hard wood floors in both my dining room and foyer. My house is old, like nearly 100 years old. Our hard wood floors need refinished but it's one of those "it's in a long list of things that need improved" in the house. I went ahead and tried this product on my floors anyway. I think it did a good job.

Say no to SOPA. There are many articles online you can find about what SOPA is and how it will effect you. Yes, you, even if you're not a blogger, even if you don't own a website. Write you're congressman, sign a petition, whatever you like. Spread the word. Many sites went dark today in the protest of SOPA. Wikipedia for example is one. Also, you will get on Wikipedia but it will go dark with an explanation of SOPA and PIPA. There is also a field to type in your zip code to find your representatives to contact. If available they list their social media sites too so, please contact your local representative and tell them you oppose the SOPA and PIPA bill!

Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra and Purex Crystals: a great team

So you made your new year's resolution this year. Maybe you wanna get in shape, perhaps lose a few pounds, maybe add some new pieces of clothing to your workout gear. I've got some products to tell you about that will help you out.

Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bras are moisture-wicking, in other words, they help keep you cool and dry. The bra also offer a convenient key pocket for your jog around town. There's a reflective logo on the back of the bra. Breathable mesh panels placed around the bra. Also has a soft bottom band for comfort.

So what does this have to do with Purex Complete Crystals? Well, did you know that you shouldn't use a liquid fabric softener on your moisture wicking clothing? That's because liquid softeners contain softening oils which prevent moisture wicking fabrics from working right. Purex Complete Crystals don't use oils so they can be used on all fabric types.

I decided to test it out with my new Jockey Tech Terry Performance Bra. I already know that I love Purex Complete Crystals, but how would it work on the bra? I threw the crystals in with the bra. The Tropical Splash scent of the Purex Complete Crystals (in the yellow bottle) is so lovely. The Jockey bra I received was black.

You throw the crystals directly in the wash with your laundry. Works the same for both top loading and front loading.

The Crystals worked great on my bra and the rest of my clothes. My clothes, including the bra, were left smelling great for several days after.

Just a word about the bra though. The band on the bottom is very comfortable once it's on. I had an issue getting it on though. The band doesn't seem to stretch very much. Especially compared to other sports bras I've worn.

Couponing: The Extreme Video Course Review Must for those who want to learn

Have you ever watched one of those couponing shows and thought, "Wow, I wish I could do that?" I know I have. Who wouldn't want to get $300 worth of groceries and pay $10 at the check out or walk into Rite Aid and get $20 worth of stuff for free?

I was really confused. I use coupons but I didn't use them to their full potential. My other concern was that if I did give it a go, I wanted to be able to do it right. No coupon fraud for me thank you. I knew a lot of ways I could get coupons. I even made my own coupon binder prior to watching this series. I was still frustrated though because I wasn't saving the "Big" money. Maybe $20-$30 a shopping trip which I was happy but I wanted to know "the secrets".

When I had the opportunity to review Couponing: The Extreme Video Course I jumped on the chance. I had heard about some couponer holding actual classes in different areas but none were near me. This was a great way for me to learn and I was eager.

I had the opportunity to print out a workbook that I could use to highlight info I wanted along the way and go back to as a reference. The videos are word for word what's in the workbook but it was definitely less time consuming to listen to the videos and highlight as I went along.

The first few videos were things I was already aware of but, would be great for someone who is completely new to the idea of "extreme" couponing. She also has several lessons that are store specific like for Target and Rite aid for example.

I got the most personal benefit out of the "7 Rules for couponing" , "Double Coupons", and "Rite Aid couponing" lessons. She also has a nice couponing ethics lesson.
