Dying To Breathe

Being a writer makes it hard sometimes to express in a flowing storyline what has only just been thoughts swimming in my head. I can easily think of experiences and look at it from every angle, understanding it in every way, but it is difficult to put these angles and understandings on paper. What makes it even harder can be not really wanting to talk of the subject at all. I just don't talk about "me".

Yet, writing of the experiences that follow seems to be what I'm lead to do in some way, so that others might find strength, hope, energy, possibility, and a better perception on things in their own lives that would aid in healing.

I will simply write like I'm talking to you directly, as if we were together as friends. Not every proper word or proper, grammatically-correct phrasing will appear. I'm not writing for the masses, or for notice, but simply to express experience and learning. If you find something useful in this, take it and make it your own lesson or medicine.

I will not recommend you follow my steps, or choose my decisions as right for you. I'm hardheaded and tend to learn in radical ways sometimes.

With that being said...

In the summer of about 2006, I died.

Since I was little, I have always been active. If there was a will, there was a way. If I didn't have a job or couldn't find one, I created one. If I wanted to be somewhere else, I went. I couldn’t be told I couldn't do something because I didn't have the money, the tools, the experience, or whatever else was required. I believed I could, so I did. I didn't believe in excuses or victim-hood, or feeling sorry for myself, though I'm sure I did on some level from time to time. The point is, I wasn't sitting still. I had things to do, dreams to pursue.

Then, out of the blue one day, I step outside onto my back patio and immediately collapsed. I could not move, but worse, I could not breathe. Air would not enter or leave my lungs. My mind began to set into overdrive, begging me to breathe, breathe!

My body began to heat up fast because the cooling that comes naturally from breathing wasn’t there. Add that this was a dry humid day with no breeze; stale; still. I remember thinking, ‘I hope no one finds me like this,’ because them being near would smother me from the extra heat. I didn’t even wish to call for help. I just knew that more people surrounding me would not be helpful and that them trying to give me air would be deadly, because my lungs were sealed shut. There was no way they could have given me air.

My brain, screaming with everything it had, begging, demanding; I, trying, trying with everything I was to just breathe, just live.

I finally had the thought that this must be how it is to go. As I looked up through the trees and noticed the sunlight filtering its way down, I seemed to be letting go, just letting go of it all. A mere thought I had was, ‘just one little, cool breeze’, just a little one.

And as the scene seemed to be growing brighter, and even more peaceful, somehow... out of nowhere, like a dove, a bird, something that was a small but pure dose of air entered me as if it was liquid water in the midst of a desert—it filled my lungs entirely.

Within a minute or two, I was on my feet, breathing, much the same as before. I had to sit down for a few minutes to replay it in my head.

I am a deep thinker, pondering things for hours, days, all the time. I had some thinking to do.

Thus began a journey of decreasing energy and some breathing issues over the course of some 7 or so years.

At first, I got one of those Primatene Mist inhalers just to have at the ready should more issues arise. It was lucky that I had made that choice, because I began to run into attacks of not being able to breathe, as I would get winded doing something else. This was of course unusual for me. The learning curve on getting control back as the issue got worse is beyond describing properly.

I would get winded and use the inhaler, but had to learn how to breathe all over again. When I would have an attack it was severe--I just couldn't get air into my lungs, which turned out to be from lots of mucus clogging the air sacs.

The Primatene would pump some epinephrine into my lungs and gang (do you mean gain??? Even then it doesn’t make much sense.) an opening, but it was still gaining control of my breathing that I had to work on over time. It turns out that you have to get the O2 and carbon mix balanced, which can only be done by nose breathing in a perfect rhythm. Mouth breathing will not work for this, and that's what your mind is begging, pleading and demanding you do, like a screaming little kid out of control that "wants it now".

I had studied meditation, breathing techniques, and profound focus, but it took me awhile to remember this and use it to my advantage. Pushing through with sheer determination and focus, I began to overcome the screaming mind and let consciousness take over. This was not any easy thing to go through, but I learned by doing; by having no choice but to do it, or else.

I had at one time got to the point I was going through about 1 inhaler every 10 days; not 30, not 90, not a few times a year, but 10 days. I was living on it, depending on it, while I still seemed to become weaker by the day as I lost weight and energy—I became the walking dead.

I didn't go to the hospital, choosing to push through each session that came upon me. My wife insisted she needed to call 911 more times than I can count; I wouldn't let her. I pushed through and made it out the other side, over and over, and over again. Whatever this was, I could find a way through… I've always found a way through.

By the fall of 2013 I was moving as little as possible. I had little strength, little ability to breathe well. Some days were better than others yet they were becoming further and further apart. It was hard to watch my wife not sleeping well, always checking on me, wanting me to go to the emergency room. Still, I pushed through each bout, each fever, each coughing ordeal that made me feel like my chest was gunshot and my back in pain beyond description.

Finally, for my wife and daughter, I allowed her to take me to the emergency room to check things out. I already pretty much knew what would happen and what the outcome would be. After all, I hadn't just sat around during all this time. I had researched signs, symptoms, and forums for others with issues like mine. What had turned up, what they did, what the outcomes were, I knew, and told my wife as much. I pretty much nailed it. Maybe it's why I delayed as long as I did--I was saving her from more of what she might not be ready to hear and of course, what I wasn't going to hear.

Over the course of the night they ran one test after another, growing more concerned as they went. I had breathing treatments and O2 given. Finally having the doctor on call come in and tell me he had some bad news for me.

I watched out of the corner of my eye the faces of my daughter and wife as he proceeded to tell me I had lung cancer with a large mass, plus severe COPD. They wanted to admit me immediately for surgery, chemo and radiation treatments. I watched as the realization of what he had just said washed over my wife and daughter. I just remained as I was. I already knew all of this. I let it go but told him to check me out. I'd seek alternative methods.

The look of shock on the doctor’s face was be priceless. You'd think I had refused to accept the winning lottery first prize as if it were nothing to me.
He released me with a handful of prescriptions to help with breathing and fighting any infection and inflammation.

And so I went home.

I actually did feel much better for a week. I could breathe much better after the treatments to open my lungs, and had a bit of energy to get around. However, over the course of the next 10-14 days I began to go short of breath again, getting weaker, to the point of not being able to get up and move very well. I experienced at least 6 fevers during that time--which I worked through of course--each being in the range of 102 to 104. My wife begged, even threatened, to call 911 over and over again... I said no, absolutely not. Yet even as I stood my ground on the issue of running off to the hospital for every little thing (it seemed to me) I watch the fear, the helplessness, the breaking of my wife over the stress of this. I know it was certainly beginning to affect my daughter as well. Finally, I let her take me back.

They had me in the back immediately, remembering me from last time. The test started. The breathing treatments started, the testing, the needles, the onslaught of doctors and nurses needing one more thing. I didn't want to be here. I hated this. I knew I needed some aid by now but this was also giving up, giving in, and being vulnerable. This was hard. This was really hard. I'm not the one who seeks out or asks for help--I'm stronger than that... I had to learn to be stronger than all that early on. It wasn’t working this time. A lifetime of armor falling away. How can this be? Damnit! G* damnit!

It was just one doctor that came in and actually took time to find out how I felt, and what was possible, and how we could proceed. He was different, different than the rest, somehow. He was listening.

I was admitted, where I stayed about 5 days for test after test and treatments to breath. Finally, after scopes into my lungs, biopsies, and talks back and forth I was comforted by an oncologist who decided to give it to me straight.

I did have lung cancer with a huge mass in my chest, having caused my left lung to collapse so they had to inflate it but with little improvement. (do you mean they tried to inflate it? Need to inflate it? Is inflate even the word you meant? It was the first thing spellcheck suggested.) There could be no surgery, it was too late for that. I should start immediate chemo and radiation without delay--at least begin chemo, which is an everyday session for the first 30 days.

His prognosis was that without this "modern medicine" route I should not expect to live another 6 months, and with the treatment, I might gain 6 months to a year on that.

Again, I watched as the color rushed out of my wife's face, unable to hold back the overwhelming tears of helplessness that lay behind those eyes. Those eyes so full of love and compassion, but no less afraid. (what do you mean by this?) I sat there.

What about family? What about what's important, what about doing what needs to be done, to have even one more day. I smiled. I didn't care.

While many would lose it, fall to pieces, be overcome in emotion, I smiled to myself... I felt good, at peace. How do you feel peace when you've just been told you’re going to die pretty damn soon? I understand death and dying a little differently maybe--it doesn't scare me, it's not an ending, just a transitioning. But for this world and the here and now, something amazing happened.

I felt a ton of weight just leave me. Whatever pressures, baggage, worries, concerns, they all left, disappeared altogether. Come on, really, be told you’re going to die and that's pure freedom, at least to me it was/is. What could I not do, what could anyone tell me I couldn't do? What's the worst thing that could happen… die? Ah, ok, don't throw me in the briar patch.

No, I hadn't forgot anything important at all. It was all entwined in the big ball of weight that had dissolved. Now I had this great big flat surface, clear. Now I could place here what was really important, and what I choose to focus on. Clarity. Understanding. The same kind of place I have reached in meditation practice. It is peaceful. It is calm. I have a new perspective.

I checked out over this doctors’ advice. I told him I was choosing some alternative routes to pursue. With the benefit of some prescriptions for breathing maintenance, I choose the route of working on what directly addresses my issues. But it's not just one alternative method or another, or juicing, or changes in diet (ph. levels), but in my thinking, and imaging, in my self-talk and in my conscious awareness of how it all works together.

You see, I've died many times already. I just don't lay down and die... and what's dying anyway? Living comes naturally. It's just that in today's world, we have given ourselves so little time to breathe, and we lose our energy that powers our living. No, sorry, "I ain't done here yet". My reality is not the one presented to me; I choose differently.

... And you aren't done either. It's time to wake up to your life. It's time to breathe fresh air into that which you came here to do. You have the strength to "push through", and if you reach a point where it seems impossible to go one more step, or to take one more breath, think of LOVE, and it will appear to assist you in all its forms.

Allow, let go, and release what's no longer important…

Transform By Shifting Your Beliefs

YOUR LIFE is being written every moment by your thoughts, your emotions, your words and your choices. The events that are unfolding in your life are a direct reflection of those choices, whether consciously defined or unconsciously allowed.

What is the nature and root of our beliefs? How and where do they form? What is the impact they have on us, on other people and on our lives? Here we will take a closer look at limiting beliefs and thought patterns that are holding you back and keeping you stuck and how you can overcome them and transform.

Yesterday I met a woman named ‘Rosa‘, who actually, inspired me to write this article. She told me that in her entire life she never felt that she belonged anywhere. She believed that she was old, ugly, unattractive, unworthy and saw herself as a failure. These were some of the limiting core beliefs that she held about herself. They were so deep-seated in her and ‘controlled’ her life. Often she did not feel any desire to leave her house and go out and so she was experiencing a profound isolation from other people, life and her true self. There were so many things she wanted to do in her life such as travelling around the world but she kept holding back because her core belief about herself was ‘failure‘.

It touched me so deeply, because I could see and feel the self-hatred and the pain it inflicted on her and how it restrained her.

I kept asking her questions and inquire into the root of her core beliefs to make her ‘see’ for herself where they once started and how deep-seated they were in her and, more importantly, so that she could realize that many of her beliefs were self-made - not necessarily true - and that she is the only one who can cut through them.

She was the one who kept validating her own core beliefs and kept feeding them by accepting them as true. She was creating a self fulfilling prophecy to support the limiting belief that she had about herself. The labels she gave herself kept her from living openly, fully and joyfully.

This is one example on the power of beliefs and what a profound impact one’s beliefs can have on oneself and one’s life.

'What you believe, you become.’‘

Now, your PRIMARY relationship is to yourself - not from a selfish point of view. Because if you do not have a healthy relationship to yourself - you cannot establish or thrive in any healthy relationships to other people, your community or to the world.

‘‘Thought shapes lives.’‘

Your mindset is the sum total of your beliefs, values, identity, expectations, attitudes, habits, decisions, opinions and thought patterns about yourself, others and life. It determines your behaviour, outlook and mental attitude. It is the filter through which you interpret what you see and experience. Your mindset shapes your life and draws to you results that are an exact reflection of it.

BELIEF SYSTEM & SUBCONSCIOUS MIND
A belief is a thought that a person holds to be true about something. Beliefs are solid ideas stored in your subconscious mind whether they are true or not. Your subconscious mind power is like a magnet. When you have a certain belief in your subconscious mind, your subconscious mind will vibrate based on this belief and attract events and people that resonate with or correspond to this belief. Each belief is accompanied by an emotion.

Beliefs form in a variety of ways:

• We tend to internalize the beliefs of the people around us during childhood.

• People may adopt the beliefs of a charismatic leader, even if those beliefs fly in the face of all previous beliefs, and produce actions that are clearly not in their own self-interest.

• The primary thrust of the advertising industry is that repetition forms beliefs, as do associations of
beliefs with images of sex, love, and other strong positive emotions.

• Physical trauma, especially to the head, can radically alter a person's beliefs.

Beliefs are key components of our personalities and senses of identity, and our expressions of beliefs often define us to others. Many of our reactions to others are based on our beliefs and our perceptions of them.

Limiting beliefs include:
• Fear of our greatness
• Fear of not being (good) enough
• Fear of not being loved
• Fear of rejection
• Fear of failure
• Fear of success

Limiting beliefs often involve, ‘I can’t….. ‘Any time you believe you cannot be or do something you are eliminating it as a possibility.

Having set out any limiting beliefs, we limit our existence within the scope of these beliefs. Moreover, we are constantly on the lookout for evidences to support these beliefs.

WHAT FRENQUENCY ARE YOU ON ?
Like energy attracts like energy. You attract to yourself those things and circumstances and people that are in vibrational harmony with your dominant, mental attitude, habitual thoughts and beliefs.

The attractive power of any particular thought is determined by how often you have that thought and by the strength of the feelings or emotions associated with it. The more energy you give to a particular thought, the greater its power to attract its corresponding circumstance into your physical world.

Thoughts have energy. Like physical energy, which has a positive or negative charge, so does the energy created by your thoughts. Each time you entertain a specific thought you emit a very specific, corresponding frequency or energy vibration. Negative thoughts create negative events. Positive thoughts create positive events. The energy of thought is either stored in physical structures or is transmitted into the universe, it never dies.

Every thought interacts with the energy of the universe. Negative thought looks for other negatives thought energies to bind with. Eventually a matrix of negative thought energy is created and forms a thought wave. These powerful negative thought waves manifest themselves in our lives.

Positive thought energy also seeks out other positive energies. If you are a source of positive thought energy, positive and beneficial energy will return to you in many wonderful and unexpected ways.

Again everything that happens in your life has a direct connection with the type of energy that you are charging the universe with. You alone are responsible for the type of energy created by your life.

Becoming aware of the power of your own thoughts is the most important step.

Being aware is the key. Once we are aware of the negative thought energy in our lives we can take measures to eliminate it. The critical first step however is simply being aware of the existence and effects of these energies.

Let us take this into a greater context.

Quantum Physics has shown that there is a field of energy, a measurable web, that permeates everything that is intelligent and that responds to human energy. This field of energy has been called the ‘Mind of God’ by some Scientists, and is more commonly known as the 'Quantum Hologram'.

All creation is connected through this field of energy - the Quantum Hologram.

Human thoughts, feelings and emotions are vibrations that create patterns in the Quantum Hologram. For example, positive emotions have a higher vibration. Negative emotions have a lower vibration.

Some of the earlier studies on the Quantum Hologram focused on the way our DNA sets patterns in the field of energy. It’s been shown in studies that feelings of compassion, gratitude, understanding, appreciation, and love actually relax the strands of DNA in our bodies. Prolonged exposure to these positive emotions actually allows the DNA strands to unwind, which allows the individual access to all the genetic options or possibilities for health and life.

On the other hand, anger and frustration tighten DNA coils, shutting down the body’s ability to respond and heal. Emotions, then, change the shape of your DNA and change the electromagnetic field of the Quantum Hologram, which is the fabric of our creation. These effects change our physical world.

The heart and brain are constantly communicating, and the heart is more than just a physical pump for blood. The heart has an energy field of it’s own that extends 5-8 feet from the body. This field of energy reflects what we “become” in our hearts as our choices produce feelings and emotions that produce effects in our physical world.

The Quantum Hologram is responding to your thoughts and feelings and changing the physical world around you each and every moment.

‘Behind every action is a thought and behind every thought is a belief.’‘

HOW TO OVERCOME LIMITING BELIEFS THAT DO NOT SERVE YOU
When you form a belief, no matter what it is, it takes a life on its own. Often it becomes unconscious - outside your awareness - and they guide your actions or inactions without your even realizing it.

You absorb and hold beliefs in your own energy field believing they belong to you. You keep feeding them by acting accordingly to your beliefs. When you are within the paradigm of a limiting belief it appears completely true - so you continue to believe in it. The limiting beliefs are like weed in your garden, which have to be eliminated.

Often you are your own greatest obstacle. That is, your biggest obstacles are your own self-limiting beliefs.

Because it is a belief, you unconsciously find ways to reinforce it. You distort or generalize your experiences or ignore evidence that would challenge that belief. Often it happens without your even realizing you are doing it.

By becoming aware and conscious you illuminate those limiting beliefs that do not serve you. Your awareness becomes a beam of light. By making an inventory you can break through the layers of denial, ego, image projections and false beliefs.

'Only with self-awareness can we see where our steps are taking us.’‘

Having self-awareness allow you to see where your thoughts and emotions are taking you. It also allows you to see the controls of your emotions, behaviours and personality so you can make the changes you want. Until you are aware in the moment of the controls to your thoughts, emotions, words and behaviour, you will have difficulty making changes in the directions of your life.

So can we change our thoughts? Just the very act of monitoring our thoughts can bring an awareness that starts to change us.

Most powerful of all is to go straight to the source - what do I believe that is causing me to think, feel and act this way? What concepts have I built around this topic? This can be hard to uncover as most of it tends to be subconscious and is often from long ago. Monitoring your thoughts can give you clues to the belief system as can examining your emotions.

A new perspective allows you to have that epiphany of awareness that changes the way you see things outside the belief paradigm. Shift in point of view is the most critical.

SHIFTING LIMTING BELIEFS:

Identify your beliefs and your agreement to those beliefs and examine them.

Having identified the limiting beliefs you should challenge them whenever they appear to you. You can do it by questioning them such as ‘is it really true that…..’

Tip: Journaling your internal dialogue
• Write the thoughts that come to your mind. Go back a couple of days later and read what your wrote. The delay process provides a shift in perspective that allow you to see your thoughts from a different point of view. The shift in perspective can break the hypnotic effect that the belief has in appearing true.

• Observe the words that come out of your mouth - the can give you clues that can help you to identify beliefs.

• Hunting emotions
By identifying the emotion it is easier to see the specific belief behind the situation and the beliefs and assumptions in the mind.

There are NLP, visualization techniques, affirmations, meditation and other techniques that can help one to overcome limiting beliefs which I will not go into detail here.

Self-awareness is developed through practices in focusing your attention on your own thought processes and behaviour. It is not learned from reading a book. When you read a book you are focusing your attention on the conceptual ideas in the book. With your attention in a book you are PRACTICING not PAYING ATTENTION to your own thoughts, emotions and behaviour.

Smash through the boundaries of what you believe is possible and break loose from your own limiting beliefs. ‘You are what you believe you are and you can do what you believe you can do.‘

‘What you believe, you become. What you focus on is what you attract, or create, in your life.‘

It is essential that we not only recognize but take responsibility for the power of what we think, say and do in creating life around us.

What we believe is based upon our perceptions.
What we perceive depends upon what we look for.
What we look for depends upon what we think.
What we think depends upon what we perceive.
What we perceive determines what we believe.

..Expression,like various forms of creativity can be used positively- to uplift,instruct, inspire, bring beauty into the world- or negatively - tobelittle, demoralize, tear down and even destroy. Expression takes manyforms whether it's the spoken language, body language, a sermon, actingout in a state of emotional drama, any time an individual is active, ordoing something, they are "expressing" themselves.

Humansexpress themselves every moment, through every feeling, thought, word,or the attitude they walk through life with . . . with the metaphorsthey use, what they reference as examples, the story they tell aboutthings, about themselves . . every form of "action" is creative.Bringing an internal state into an external reality of some sort. Allwe are capable of doing is projecting our "self" onto our enironment.Every thought, meaning, and perception is experience "through us" asus. Our models serve as filters used to perceive the world as somethingunique and special.

This day and age, the "age of communication"we have lost the art of "performing ideas" - transmitting informationby developing skill at expressing it. Yet, it is the emotional qualityof the information that provokes action, that motivates us to dosomething, to act based on the "feeling quality" of the information wehave been given. This is the true art of "inspiring" people. To inspireis to take a standard goal or desired outcome, and perform it in a waythat engages people emotionally in personally identifying with the goalin a way that compels them towards it, creating a desire in them to"do" something to make it come true.

To act in a fashion thatsupports and creates a physical reality motivated by the "feelingquality" of the idea as it was communicated. We all seek to be apart ofsomething that is greater than ourselves. The greater the emotionalquality of the expression, the more clearly we relate to being apart ofwhat's being expressed. If, by relating to it, I feel . . ."courageous, powerful, able to serve, compassionate, caring, sexy,valuable" etc. - whatever the feeling, if it feels good, it willattract people who have that "desire" inside of them that is beingprovoked into reality by the emotional quality of my communication-which creates a path for expression. All great artist, communicatorsand leaders understand this.

To be a great artist, a greatleader, you must stir people's desire, touch them inside with emotionsthat compel them into action. Not because they should or it's the rightthing to do . . . but because they must! Creating and transferringemotion, creates a powerful desire to do something as a result of yourperformance. By activating the right "state of mind" you can not onlyinfluence people towards a common goal, but bring out peoplesmagnificence in the process. When people feel moved by something,usually the best part of them, the part that is passionate comes forthand becomes more apparent.

This passionate "presence" is whatperforms the action. When people act out of passion, they own andharness their personal power to self actualize. When you have theability to trigger this response in people intentionally you literallybring out the genius in common people, at will. What you see in them,they see in themselves. What we reflect we are projecting. When webecome invested in the fun of exercising our power to bring out thebest in other people, we simultaneously experience the best inourselves. To empower others, is to experience yourself as powerful. Inorder to express it, you have to have it.

To bring beauty intothe world by expressing it, is to become a conduit for attracting it, achannel through which beauty can flow. Focusing your mind on drawingbeauty to you, filling yourself up with it to the point of explodinginto existence - you become the living, breathing expression of beauty.Your cup runneth over. It becomes your experience, your common everyday reality! You are, by virtue of your nature . . . beautiful.

I hope this finds you all doing well. And I do think of each of you. The universe draws people into our lives, draws us together so that we can reach our next level, to give us more focus, to empower us, to support us, and to help each other where it's needed. It supplies what we lack, or what we need to learn. We are given the opportunities to teach, to learn, and to grow.

If we only realized that each person, and situation that shows up, we ourselves have created, and asked for. Perhaps consciously, perhaps unconsciously, but we have asked. If we realized that, then maybe, just maybe, we would start seeing all the opportunities that keep presenting themselves in our every moment.

We have all learned that what happens are just random events that bounce off each other, but I tell you, nothing, not one thing happens without reason, without cause, without effect.

Whether or not a butterfly flapping it's wings in one part of the world creates an earthquake in another makes little difference if we don't pay attention, become aware. Our thoughts create our reality...and if you haven't learned that by now, I venture to say you will, sooner or later.

As our thoughts create our reality, our combining thoughts create the larger consciousness of this world.

I've said this before but let me go over it again...
All thoughts create...a thought, is the mind [consciousness]. Let's say here, it's God. A thought is very powerful, and it begins to attract all other "like thoughts" and energies. Let's call it also, The Word. A word is also powerful, but it is really a thought "expressed".

Follow me so far?

E-motion [action]/Experience is what follows. It activates the power of the thought into a thing. And The Word became Flesh...meaning, "to experience", to carry out the will of...

Now we add, spirit. What is spirit? It is the universal flow, the life of, the power behind it all. Without the spirit, the body dies. It motivates and creates. It is life's blood if you will.

Mind - Body- Soul
God - Son - Spirit
Thought - Action - Manifestation

We are the creators of this universe. We are all connected. We are all one. Think of this...one cell in your body has everything "in" it to produce the whole body. It is the whole body contain "within" what seems like it's smallness. But it is not the whole body as a complete whole.

You, and I, are these cells in this body, called the universe, call - all there is, or ever was. You could apply that to all other things as well, such as animals, plants, the planets...it's all conscious, all of it alive, connected in spirit. It is the very same spirit.

What is a thought? It's information. What is light? It is truthful information. What is love? It is TOTAL INFORMATION.

When your thinking, you begin attracting other thoughts to you that are like it, that support it...this is movement of energy. Be it a new idea to you that could change the world, or the darkest violent thoughts, they attract even more of the same.

By the way, you aren't thinking anything new...no new thoughts. They have already been asked and answered from a beginning. Since then, thoughts have only been re-focused, rethought, revised, put into various contexts, and into various actions.

By extension, we each can do what the whole can do. The only difference is we have forgotten, or been taught otherwise. That's a lot of power to know you have by those who wish for control instead.

Religions were created for the very purpose of control, and that needs fear to work. To get you to fear your very self makes religion possible...as today, so do governments, which were simply tools we created for ourselves and didn't pay attention to what we have been creating.

There is nothing wrong with thoughts, even those you deem dark or evil. Neither of those is real, but how they have been judged.

There is Fear and there is Love. Light and Dark. Two ends of the same, the very same energy. Remember, light is simply, truthful information. Therefore, dark just means, having less information that is truthful, not enough information, dis-empowerment.

If I stir some dark matter into a bowl of light material I will begin to blend, or dilute it's "substance".

Now, if I add LOVE to any mixture that is less than pure, I begin to change it's context, it's content. By adding more Love, more Light, more truthful information, I begin to understand it all boils down to LOVE.

In our world, our universe, our individual thoughts also pool into the collective thoughts of all things. What we are thinking about DO COUNT, for ourselves, in our reality, and though the collective the total universal realities. YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

You don't need a sign, a march or to shout from every corner. You can simply start by Loving. What you send out, give out, returns to you many, many times. This is how. Your giving it to yourself. All of those other things...people, plants, animals, planets, stars...all of it is YOU too. This is REAL POWER.

Let me ask you, would you cut off your leg if you injured it? Would you try to fold it up out of the way, or otherwise rid yourself of it someway...or, would you baby it, care for it, send it love, work towards healing it? I tell you now, everything else in this universe is that...your leg, your arm, your systems and organs. It is all connected.

Anything that comes to your mind, to your thinking, comes for one thing...for your blessing. It comes for healing. It comes to your attention because you are the creator, in whole or part, but it comes to you to be blessed, and to take a place in "your kingdom". Once this happens, it's power and energy are released, absorbed.

The next time you see a news piece on starving children, or someone dying in a violent way, send love to it, to the whole situation, and KNOW it has been done. You are consciously offering healing, new information, light, LOVE. You are diluting the darkness of it.

When you send Love to anything, you add Light to it.

Many speak of Christ. I am of the belief what he really taught was hijacked to control others, but they couldn't get rid of everything. He taught Love. He taught how to use and send it, how to fill yourself with it.

And he reminded others that they were GODS, and that they could DO EVEN MORE than what he was doing. Having faith of a mustard seed just meant to KNOW that what was asked for, spoken, thought, was ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED. All one has to do then is be GRATEFUL.

He was called the LIGHT because he had the INFORMATION, total information, and he knew it all came down to Love. having any other information will always point to it needing more information/more Love. It's that simple.

Buddha knew this, so did Gandhi, King, and many others.

By the way, every film, show, book, and other media, is but a series of thoughts and words strung together, therefore, they contain power. They add to the collective whole.

Simply being aware of something, changes it.

Is it any mistake that this new intentional community we are planning/forming is called The Eden Project/The Essence Of Eden? While returning to a way of sustainable living, healthier living, learning to appreciate each other, and how do live a better way, as perhaps a model, or one of many models, for a better world. We also remember that WE ARE CREATORS. We came here to wake up and remember who and what we are. We are in The Body [of experience]. We are already Spirit [as ONE]...and that only leaves ONE THOUGHT, the one that started it all from the beginning. We are simply the expression of that Original Thought.

A SPIRITUAL/LOVE CONSPIRACY

On the surface of the world right now there is war and violence and things seem dark.

But calmly and quietly, at the same time, something else is happening underground.

An inner revolution is taking place and certain individuals are
being called to a higher light...awakening!

It is a silent revolution.
From the inside out. From the ground up.

This is a Global Operation¦
A spiritual conspiracy.
There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet.

You wont see us on the T.V.
You wont read about us in the newspaper.
You wont hear about us on the radio.
We dont seek any glory.
We dont wear any uniform.
We come in all shapes and sizes,
Colors and styles.

Most of us work anonymously...
We are quietly working behind the scenes in every country and culture of the world,
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys, in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands.

You could pass by one of us on the street and not even notice.

We go undercover.
We remain behind the scenes.
It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit,
But simply that the work gets done.

Occasionally we spot each other in the street,
We give a quiet nod and continue on our way.

During the day many of us pretend we have normal jobs,
But behind the false storefront at night is where the real work takes place.

Some call us the ˜Conscious Army".

We are slowly creating a new world with the power of our minds and hearts.
We follow, with passion and joy.

Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence, The Universe, our deep inner Selves.

A Healing Story

Leo Sofer is an intuitive storyteller. Each story he tells begins with a question spoken out loud, alone or in front of an audience. The stream of pictures (in his mind’s eye) and words (spoken by his ‘inner voice’) that he receives in response gives him all the information he needs to tell a story, although he is rarely able to guess what is coming next. This story was told in response to a commission from Positive Health magazine on the subject of ‘Health and healing’.

An old man and an old woman lived together. One day the old man fell ill and no doctor could cure him. The more remedies he tried the more his condition worsened. He became feverish and sleepless.
“Call the birds!” he would cry throughout the day and night. “Only they can cure me!”

His wife tried to reason with him, but without much success.

“Call the birds!” he would cry, and his fever rose higher still.

One evening, in as much fear as desperation, the old woman ran into the garden. She called up into the darkening sky.

“You birds! Please help me! My husband is sick and I fear that soon he may die.”

Above her head she heard a whistling sound. Flying out of the sky she saw a beautiful brightly-coloured bird.

“Your husband is sick?” said the bird.

“Yes!” cried the old woman. “Can you help him?”

“No,” said the bird. “We birds are of no use in such matters. Only the angels can help your husband now.”
The old woman shook her head and ran indoors. That night her husband burned like a hot coal in the bed beside her. He writhed and sweated all night long, but the following morning he was calm.

“I dreamt of angels,” he said.

The old man closed his eyes. He touched his chest and in
that moment his heart lay upon the grass.
Later that day she went into the garden.

“You angels!” she cried. “Please help me! My husband is sick and close to dying and I am told that only you can heal him.”

No sooner had she spoken than the garden was filled with a strange and wonderful light. Standing beside her was an angel.

“Your husband is sick?” said the angel.

“Yes!” cried the old woman. “Can you help him?”

“I’m afraid not,” said the angel.

“But the birds . . .”

“The birds consider us capable of everything which is beyond them, and often they are mistaken. But there is one above us who can help you. Call upon the Creator and your husband shall be cured.”

The old woman shook her head and ran indoors. All day long she sat by her husband’s bedside. The old man looked as white as a sheet. He breathed faintly as if already taking the air of a more rarefied world.

She told him what the angel had said.

“What are you waiting for then?” he whispered.

That evening she went out into the garden and called up into the darkening sky.

“If there is a Creator of this world, please come to my aid! My husband is dying and I fear he has one foot already in the world beyond.”

No sooner had she spoken than a heavenly chorus filled the air. A bright light appeared in the sky above her head and she heard a thundering voice.

“Your husband is dying?” said the Creator.

“Yes!” cried the old woman. “Can you help him?”

“I’m afraid not,” said the Creator.

“But the angels . . .”

“I am unable to determine the events of the world,” said the Creator.

The old woman closed her eyes. “If you are truly the creator of this world then how can a single flower open without your blessing? You move the sun and the stars! How can saving a single life be beyond your power?”

The Creator said: “The sun is indeed my servant. And it is true that no flower can open without me. But, as for you and your kind, I have no power over you save that of the power of Love. I cannot determine the course of your lives, for you have your own free will. Thus it was created.”

“Then why did the angels say you could help?” said the old woman.

The Creator was silent for a moment. “Tell you husband that there is only one way I can help him.”

“And what is that?”

“Tell him that if he wishes to be healed he must gather together all his possessions, down to the last pin, and give them to me.”

The old woman pursed her lips and ran indoors. She found her husband sitting upright in bed. His face was bright and his eyes were shining.

“I saw the garden filled with light. Did the Creator come?”

“You’re not going to like this,” the old woman said.

But when she told him what the Creator had said, he clapped his hands and jumped out of bed. “All my life I have waited to hear that!” he cried, and he tore the sheet off the bed and made a sack of it and ran through the house gathering up all his possessions. His wife could hardly keep up with him let alone persuade him to stop. When the sack was full he dragged it out into the garden and threw it down onto the grass.

“Oh, Creator of the world!” he cried triumphantly. “Here is everything I own!”

At his words thunder rolled from one end of the sky to the other.

“Everything?” said the Creator.

“Everything!” cried the old man. “It’s all here!”

“Not quite,” said the Creator. “There’s one thing missing.”

“Tell me what it is and it’s yours!” exclaimed the old man.

“Give me your heart,” said the Creator.

The old man closed his eyes. He touched his chest and in that moment his heart lay upon the grass.

“And give me your mind . . .” said the Creator.

The man waved his hand over his face and in that moment his mind lay upon the grass.

“. . . and your flesh . . .” said the Creator.

And with a wave of the old man’s hand his flesh, too, lay upon the grass.

“. . . and your bones,” whispered the Creator.

And with a click of his fingers the old man’s bones lay in a heap upon the grass.

“Now,” said the Creator. “Where are you?”

And he had no eyes, yet he could see. He had no ears, yet he could hear. He had no heart, yet he could feel.

“Who are you?” said the Creator.

And the old man looked down at the pile of possessions he had gathered and he knew he was not that. He looked down at the pile of flesh and bones that had once been his body, and he knew he was not that. He looked around at the world and he knew that he was every blade of grass; he was every breath of wind; he was every star in the night sky.

“I am all things,” said the old man, his voice like a bird calling in the darkness.

“Good,” said the Creator. “Then would you like to be well?”

And the old man laughed. He laughed and laughed, and with him the grass laughed too. The wind laughed loud and so did the stars.

“Well?” he said, and he laughed even louder. Like the sea might laugh if asked if it were salty. Like mountains might laugh if asked if they were mountains.

“I have always been well!” he cried. “From before I was born until after I will die. I am in perfect health.”

“Good,” said the Creator. “Then do you understand how I can help you?”

And the man understood and in that moment his body became whole again. He took up the sack and carried it indoors and put each thing back in its proper place. Then he returned to his bed and lay there silently.

It was some time before his wife joined him. She took his hand and sat for a long time before speaking.

“Are you cured?” she said at last.

“I am deeply afflicted,” the old man said.

His wife sighed. “After all that?”

The old man smiled and turned to his wife.

“It is Love that has taken a hold of me,” he said.

“Then will you get better?” she asked.

“I do not know,” said the old man. “Maybe I will.”

From that moment forth the old man’s vitality began to return. The years fell away from him and his eyes shone like a child’s. Often in the course of the day he would burst out laughing for no apparent reason. He said he had never felt so happy in all his life.

One day his wife was in the garden when she saw again the brightly-coloured bird.

“I want to thank you,” she said, “for what happened to my husband.”

“Don’t thank me,” said the bird, “thank the angels!”

“Very well,” said the old woman, “then I’ll thank the angels.”

No sooner had she spoken than the garden was filled with an ethereal light and by her side there stood an angel.

“I want to thank you,” said the old woman, “for what happened to my husband.”

“Don’t thank me,” said the angel, “thank the Creator.”

“Very well,” said the old woman, “then I’ll thank the Creator.”

No sooner had she spoken than a heavenly chorus filled the air and a bright light appeared in the sky above her head.

“I want to thank you,” said the old woman, “for what happened to my husband.”

“Don’t thank me,” said the Creator, “thank your husband.”

And the old woman laughed, because for the first time she understood what the Creator had meant.

Christian Or Paulinian?

James, The Brother of Jesus

The most important figure in earliest Christianity just after the death of Jesus, was, not Paul, not Peter, but James, the brother of Jesus..

James was referred to in the New Testament as "the brother of the Lord" (Galatians 1:18; Mark 6:3; Matthew 13:55-56). Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions have tended to minimize his role; the former claiming that he was the cousin while the latter saying that he was Jesus half brother, the son of Joseph but not of Mary. However the historical evidence is unequivocal in telling us that James was the full biological brother of Jesus..

A critical appreciation of the historical sources all tells us it was James, and not Peter, who was the undisputed leader of the Jerusalem church following the death of Jesus..

We also know that, unlike Paul, James was a devout Jew and a strong proponent of the continued validity of the Mosaic laws for all followers of Jesus..

The Theology and Person of Paul

Now if James, was faithful to the teachings of Jesus and did not repudiate the law, how did Christianity develop into the law-free religion we find soon after? The crucial personality here is Paul, the self-proclaimed Apostle to the Gentiles (Romans 11:13, 15:16-18 Galatians 2:2)..

Paul, the apostle formerly known as Saul, was a trained Pharisee, a Roman citizen and a tentmaker by profession. Very importantly, he never met the human Jesus. His conversion was a purely personal hallucinatory experience..

The theology of the atonement did not originate from Jesus. It originated from Paul of Tarsus! Unlike the Jerusalem Church, headed by James, Paul was not shackled by the historical Jesus; he invented Christian theology. It is in the epistles of Paul that we find the kernels of many tenets and dogmas of modern Christian theology. Paul's theology expressly contradicts many of Jesus' teachings..

Pauline theology was to be fully developed by later Christian theologians but it cannot be doubted that Paul metaphorically planted the seeds for the subsequent development and evolution of Christian theology. In this sense, it is certainly valid to call Paul the true founder of Christianity..

Paul and the Jerusalem Church

While Paul was preaching what was essentially his own innovative theology about Jesus, what was going on with the apostles; the ones who knew the earthly Jesus was, and were aware of his teachings? Of course Christian mythology, primarily through the Acts of the Apostles and the forgeries known as the Petrine epistles, have presented the teachings of apostles as being essentially in harmony with Paul and his teaching. That this was not the case is what we will be showing here..

The problem can be traced to Paul's preaching to the Gentiles. After complaints by Jewish Christians from Jerusalem, Paul was summoned to Jerusalem to meet the church there headed by James, Peter and John. In this so-called "Jerusalem Council" an uneasy truce was agreed upon by both parties. It was a truce that did not last. For immediately following the council meeting, an incident occurred at Antioch which, in retrospect, severed forever the ties between Paul and the Jerusalem church..

While Paul wanted to keep some ties to the Jerusalem Church, it was obvious that the latter did not share the same sentiments. Indeed the evidence from Paul's own epistles show that the Jerusalem church, headed by James, actively opposed Paul's missionary activities by sending out emissaries of their own to combat his gospel..

Paul's final attempt to reconcile himself to the Jerusalem Church, by delivering the collection he promised during the "Jerusalem council", met with failure. A careful reading of the evidence shows that the Paul's collection was rejected by the Jerusalem Church and that they very probably "had a hand" in Paul's arrest!..

We can conclude that the Jerusalem church, which consisted of Jesus' brothers and the apostles who knew the earthly Jesus (such as Peter and John), never accepted Paul as a "fellow apostle". Indeed, their intense opposition to Paul's mission can only mean that they viewed Paul's theology as heretical..

The Fate of the Jerusalem Church

Apart from the devout Jewishness of James and the leadership of the church in Jerusalem, we have ample evidence that the congregation as a whole consisted of devout Jews who remained faithful to the Torah. We also know that the Jewish-Christians of Jerusalem were never called Christians but were referred to (or referred to themselves) as Nazarenes and as followers of The Way. There is also evidence that the term ebionim (Hebrew for the Poor) was somehow associated with the movement..

Here we will look at what happened to the Jerusalem church in the decade immediately following the deportation of Paul to Rome (circa 60 CE). As we have seen above, the Jerusalem Church was strongly opposed to Paul and his mission. Paul's arrest and his extradition to Rome should have marked the ultimate victory for James, and his congregation. However events were to take place rapidly that would turn this victory into a pyrrhic one. There were a couple of events which happened during that decade that was to profoundly change what eventually became known as Christianity..

The first important incident was the death of James in 62 CE. The loss of James probably weakened the control the church had over the other churches outside of Palestine..

The second crucial event was the Jewish Revolutionary War of 66-70 CE. Being devout Jews, the simmering tensions between the Jewish people and Rome must surely have affected the Jerusalem church as well. It is highly likely that the majority of the congregation perished in that Jewish War against the mighty Roman Empire..

We have evidence that some of them did manage to escape into the Transjordan during, or just before, the war. However this was probably only a very small remnant of the church. They were never able, from such a reduced strength, to challenge the emergent Gentile "Catholic" Church. In the next section we will study what history tells us happened to them and their descendants..

We have seen that the Jerusalem Church, consisting as it was of Jesus' relatives and his apostles, was the legitimate heir to the mission and message of Jesus. Yet the Jewish War of 70 CE resulted in the scattering of the remnants away from Jerusalem and other parts of Judea and Galilee. In order to identify the probable theological descendants of this church, it is important to note, from what we have discovered so far, the five main differentiating characteristics of the Jerusalem Church:..

They were all, without exception, devout and practicing Jews and demanded at least some adherence to the Mosaic law by Gentile converts..

James held the prominent position in the church. He remained unchallenged as the leader for three decades until his death in 62..

They were opposed to Paul and his law-free mission..

The Jewish war had a devastating effect on the Jewish Christians but some of them survived by escaping to the Transjordan..

They were never called Christians. They were called Nazarenes, Ebionites and followers of The Way..

These five are the distinguishing features by which we will be able to recognize the true descendents of the Jerusalem church..

Jewish Christianity

The period flanked by the two Jewish Revolutionary Wars, 70-135 CE, was an extremely murky period in the history of the evolution of Christianity. We do not have a Josephus, like we did for the years preceding the first Jewish War, to record events during that period in detail. However there are some documents dated to this period that give us an idea of the development of Jewish and Gentile Christianities. The epistle of James, a pseudonymous epistle written circa 85 CE, seems to have originated from a Jewish Christian community that kept the Mosaic laws, exalted James, the brother of Jesus, and denigrated Paul. On the other side of the fence we find in the epistles of the Gentile Christian bishop, Ignatius of Antioch. Written around 110 CE, his epistles show us that Pauline Christianity was hitting back, calling Jewish Christianity a thing of the past..

Later documents - the polemics of the church fathers, some scattered references in the liturgies and writings of the emerging Rabbinic Judaism and a fourth century "romance" called the Pseudo-Clementines - allow us to at least get a glimpse as to what the situation was like from the early second century and thereafter..

From these sources, we know that from the early second century onwards, the region of the Transjordan was populated by Jewish Christians. They were called Nazarenes and Ebionites. They were described as Jewish Christians because they continued to adhere to an (albeit modified) form of Judaism, while at the same time preaching Jesus as the messiah. Unlike the Gentile Churches that was quickly gaining strength elsewhere, they revered James. In their writings they considered Peter subordinate to James. While the Pauline corpus (the collection of his epistles) was quickly gaining canonical status in the Gentile church, the Jewish Christians continued to oppose the influence of the self-proclaimed "Apostle to the Gentiles"..

When we compare these to the developing Gentile proto-orthodox [a] church we find something different. We know that the Gentile Church did not require circumcision or any strict adherence to the Mosaic laws; they held Peter and Paul in high esteem rather than James; Paul was, to them, the Apostle to the Gentile par excellence; they were spread out geographically and of course, they were called Christians. We can safely conclude that the Gentile churches that developed outside the Jewish Christian one did not have the characteristics of the original congregation in Jerusalem founded by the brothers and apostles of Jesus..

It is obvious from our comparison of the two developing churches and the original church in Jerusalem, that the Jewish Christians had the distinguishing features of the original Jerusalem church. In other words they were the true theological descendants of Jesus..

The gentile church was not only different, they advocated positions (such as the importance of Pauline theology) that were actively repudiated by the original apostles of Jesus. It is easy to see, in retrospect, who the heretics really were..

In their battle against the Jewish Christians and other heretics, Gentile proto-orthodox Christianity developed the fiction of the Apostolic Faith. These claims, by not means unique to the proto-orthodox, consisted of them having an apostolic scripture; having leaders who who were supposedly friends or disciples of the apostles-called the apostolic fathers and having the bishops of their churches who derived their authority from the apostolic succession, are all demonstrably untrue..

The Jewish Christians, however, did not get any divine favors for being true to the teachings of their founder..

By around 90 CE, they were excluded from the Jewish community who called them minim and excluded them from synagogue service. By the time of the second Jewish Revolt of 132-135 CE, the so-called Bar Kochba Revolt, the Nazarenes were no longer considered part of the developing Rabbinic Judaism..

Rejected by the Jews, the Nazarenes and Ebionites did not fare any better with the Christians. The Gentile churches, the original heterodox followers of Paul, instead of recognizing the Nazarenes and Ebionites for who they actually were, branded them heretics and began to persecute them. They twisted the meaning of their name, Ebionites, calling them "those of poor understanding."..

Perhaps the most ironic (but apt) description of the Jewish Christians is that, in the words of Gerd Ludemann, they were "heresiologists who became heretics". They were heresiologists because they were the first to recognize the first heretic, Paul. They became heretics because Christianity evolved and grew in the direction of Paulinism. A fitting epitaph for them can be found in Walter Bauer's important work Orthodoxy and Heresy in Earliest Christianity:..

The Judaists [i.e. the Jewish Christians-PT] were unable to admit that the Pauline gospel could be adequate even for gentiles. Rather, they were fully convinced that this proclamation as such, because of its inadequacy, separated men from the messianic salvation. Thus, if one may be allowed to speak rather pointedly, the apostle Paul was the only heresiarch known to the apostolic age -- the only one who was so considered in that period, at least from one particular perspective. It could be said that the Jewish Christians in their opposition to Paul introduced the notion of "heresy" into the Christian consciousness. The arrow quickly flew back at the archer. Because of their inability to relate to a development that took place on hellenized gentile soil, the Judaists soon became a heresy, rejected with conviction by the gentile Christians. Basically, they probably had remained what they had been in the time of James the Just, but the majority of the faithful ultimately came to deviate so much from them that the connection had to break. Thus the Judaists become an instructive example of how even one who preserves the old position can become a "heretic" if the development moves sufficiently far beyond him..

By the fifth century CE, the true followers of the historical Jesus became just another footnote in Christian ecclesiastical history. The real story of Jesus ended with them. The other story, the one told by the "apostle" Paul, continues to this day..

Contradictions Between Paul's and Jesus' Teachings

That the central theme of Pauline theology is not to be found in the authentic teachings of Jesus is not the only disturbing thing about it. We find that in some cases Paul's teachings were actually diametrically opposite to Jesus'..

As an example Jesus, believing in the imminent coming of the kingdom during his lifetime, taught his followers not to worry about what tomorrow would bring and to first seek the kingdom of God:..

Matthew 6:25-34
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, "What will we eat?", "What will we drink?" or, "With what will we be clothed?" For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient..

Whatever we may feel about the merits of such teachings, its message is obvious: Jesus is telling his followers to eschew the normal everyday life of working for a living ("the birds in the sky...don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns...the lillies in the field...don't toil, neither do they spin") and to live the absolute ethic straight away while looking for the kingdom of God..

But Pauline theology (written probably by one of Paul's disciples) opposes this and calls for believers to work for a living:..

II Thessalonians 3:6,10
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us...For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat.."

The most significant difference in the teachings of these two men, however, lies in their attitude towards the Law of Moses. In fact one of the fundamental tenets of Pauline theology is that Jesus' death actually abrogated the law..

This is expounded clearly in the passage from one of his epistles:..

Galatians 2:15-16
We who are Jews by birth and not "Gentile sinners" know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one is justified..

This teaching of Paul's is, of course, familiar to Christians today. Yet tradition preserved a saying of Jesus which stated the complete opposite of what Paul taught above..

Jesus:

Matthew 5:17-20
"Do not think I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish the law but to fulfil them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished..

Anyone who breaks the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven..

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses those of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.."..

Note the complete contradiction in the two passages above. The sentence italicized showed the contradiction even more clearly: Paul is saying "we are not justified by observing the law" and Jesus is saying, in contrast, that "whoever practices the law will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."..

It is worth mentioning that the tradition Matthew was drawing from is probably authentic as there is an analogous passage in Luke, the gospel imbued most with Pauline theology:..

Luke 16:17
"It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the law."..

As Christianity ultimately accepted the Pauline view with regards to the law, there had been numerous attempts by later Christian theologians to reconcile the passage in Matthew with their dogma, Jesus statement that he has come to fulfil the law is translated (read: twisted out of all context) as: "I have come to exceed the law, to go beyond it to make it superfluous." Using this interpretation, the passage in Matthew can be made to fit, albeit rather uneasily, into Pauline theology..

The question is this: are the theologians justified in making that interpretation? Many scholars have shown that the Greek word used by Matthew, pleroun, can mean to "fulfil", to "deepen", to "perfect" but never in the sense of going beyond it or making it superfluous. In a nutshell, the Christian theologians has ascribed a meaning to the Greek word which it never had. The only accurate interpretation of Matthew's passage is that Jesus believed his task to be to establish and defend the eternal validity of the law..

We have further historical evidence that the eternal validity of the Torah and its precepts, and not its abrogation (as Paul taught), was what Jesus actually preached; we know that the early "Jewish-Christian" community in Jerusalem after the death of Jesus was led by his brother, James..

The evidence show that both James and the original community were thoroughly Jewish in practice..

We also have strong evidence that this community led by James, sent out emissaries to oppose the "law-free" mission of Paul..

Indeed despite making a huge collection for the Jerusalem Church, Paul was never accepted by the original community of Jewish-Christians in Jerusalem..

Paul taught doctrines that were never expounded by the earthly Jesus and doctrines which were in complete contradiction with what Jesus actually taught..

What are our conclusions here? That:

Jesus did not talk about the atonement and that this innovation came from Paul of Tarsus. It is to Paul that Christianity should trace its roots. The origins of Christianity as we know it came, not from Jesus, but from Paul..

The leadership and importance of James, brother of Jesus, was suppressed by the developing Gentile Church but it is through James that we would most likely be able to trace the original teachings of the earthly Jesus..

The original followers, the successor to James and the apostles of Jesus (whether they number twelve or not), were the Jewish Christians (called Nazarenes and Ebionites), who never preached of a heavenly divine Jesus. They fought Pauline Christianity to the end of their days..

CHRIST & THE KUNDALINI

Contrary to popular Christian dogma, Christ did teach about Karma, reincarnation, self-realisation and the Divine Feminine as Holy Ghost -- God the Mother. Christ's teachings are more Eastern than the Churches would have us believe or would like to admit.

The two centuries after Christ, saw the Christian Gnostic teachings of spiritual awareness disseminated alongside the blind faith doctrines of Paul's formulation. In the third Century, the Roman Church's council of Nicaea acted to stamp out the Gnostics and their anti-dogmatic approch to spirituality.

The Gnostic's were declared heretical, their texts destroyed and the Gnostics themselves persecuted into extinction. However, a small amount of Gnostic teachings survived, hidden in caves or in watered-down form in other "heretical" texts (broadly labelled as "Apocrypha").

The Christian Gnostics practiced a spirituality more similar to Eastern traditions than to the Western Christianity we know today. "Gnostic" is Greek for "knower" and it is "Gnosis" or "Knowledge" that they were seeking. Unlike the blind faith demanded by today's Churches, 'Gnosis' meant direct, mystical experience of the divine, which was to be found by individual spiritual evolution to Self-Realisation, and not within the confines of intellectual dogma. The experience of Gnosis was trans-rational and non-intellectual.

From the Nag Hammadi Library, the Book of Thomas, Christ tells us "For whoever does not know self, does not know anything, but whoever knows self, already has acquired knowledge about the depth of the universe". Compare this with a tract from the Upanishads, the Indian metaphysical treatise on Self Realisation: "It is not by argument that the self is known... Distinguish the self from the body and mind. The self, the atman, the highest refuge of all, pervades the Universe and dwells in the hearts of all. Those who are instructed in the self and who practice constant meditation attain that changeless and self effulgent atman ( spirit/ self). Do Thou Likewise, for bliss eternal lies before you..."

In another gnostic text, the Secret Gospel of Thomas, Christ promises us spiritual fulfilment "I shall give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched and what has never arisen in the human mind." This description is not unlike the Upanishadic experience "the Self is devoid of birth and death, it neither grows old nor decays and the accidents of life do not affect it. The Self transcends space and time; what is great is not too great for it to comprehend and what is small is not too small to escape its attention. It is the Self of All".

Just as Christ warned us against sin and encourages moral perfection in the pursuit of spiritual fulfilment, so too do the Eastern texts "No intellectual acumen can help one realise it, it can be realised only by those who surrender to it and who make themselves worthy by grace, by desisting from all that is sinful, who engage in the practice of perfection by constant meditation"( Upanishads).

The most ancient Eastern spiritual texts, the Vedas,of India, tell us that the process of spiritual awakening by which one attains truth -awareness is called 'Self-Realisation'. The Self Realised person lives in direct experience of reality -- this is called "Jnana" ( a traditional sanskrit word meaning 'knowledge' or 'Gnosis'). Such a person is called a "Jnani" ('knower ' or 'gnostic' ) or "dwijaha" ('twice born'; first from a human mother to the earthly plane then secondly as a child of the Goddess, or Divine Mother, who gives the seeker their second, spiritual birth, Self Realisation, into the plane of mystic awareness- gnosis! ). The traditional Indian texts extol the 'Divine Mother' as the Cosmic Matriarch, bestower of the highest treasure of Self Realisation upon Her deserving children. Many Indian mystic traditions say this same goddess is represented within the human being as the divine feminine power called Kundalini.

What of Western tradition? In the Secret Book of John Christ explains that human redemption before the Heavenly Father occurs by the mediation of a Divine Feminine principle, which he calls the Earthly Mother. It is the Earthly Mother who removes the sins of the children that they can become worthy of their divine heritage; "when all sins and all uncleanesses are gone from your body, your blood shall become as pure as our Earthly Mother's blood and as pure as the river's foam sporting in the sunlight. And your breath shall become as pure as the breath of odorous flowers; your flesh as pure as the flesh of fresh fruits reddening upon the leaves of trees; the light of your eye as clear and bright as the brightness of the sun shining upon the blue sky. And now shall all the angels of the Earthly Mother serve you and your breath, your blood, your flesh shall be one with the breath, the blood and the flesh of the Earthly Mother, that your spirit also become one with the Spirit of your Heavenly Father. For truly no-one can reach the Heavenly Father unless through the Heavenly Mother. Even as the newborn babe cannot understand the teaching of his father until his mother has suckled him, bathed him, nursed him, put him to sleep and nurtured him". The Earthly Mother is a divine mediator through which the seekers, the Sons of Man, are raised to the Heavenly Father. Another part of the same text says "Honour your Earthly Mother and keep her laws that your days may be long on this earth and honour your Heavenly Father, that eternal life may be yours in the Heavens. For the Heavenly Father is a hundred times greater than all the fathers by seed and by blood, and greater is the Earthly Mother than all mothers by the body". The Holy Trinity, then is God the Father, God the Son (ie. Christ) and, it seems, God the Mother. The Divine Mother particularly is the means and power of spiritual evolution.

The Secret Book of John relates Christ's description of the Divine Feminine as the power of God Almighty. "She is the first power. She preceded everything, and came forth from the Father's mind as forethought of all. Her light resembles the Father's light; as the perfect power She is the image of the perfect and invisible Virgin Spirit. She is the first power, the glory, Barbello, the perfect glory among the worlds, the emerging glory, She glorified and praised the Virgin Spirit for she had come forth through the Spirit. She is the first thought, image of the Spirit. She became the universal womb, for She precedes everything, the common parent, the first humanity, the Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit is here described as the Divine Power of God Himself. This power is maternal in its character (universal womb, She, the common parent) and all powerful as the 'first emanation of God'. More so, She is pure (Virgin) and She glorifies purity.

So ancient christian tradition seems to tell us that the holy spirit is actually the Divine Mother!

One cannot overlook the Eastern parallels. God Almighty in Indian mythology is represented as Sada-Shiva. His state is eternal perfection (Sat Chit Ananda). His power is the Adi Shakti (primordial power) who is His feminine counterpart or spouse. It is She who does all things. She created the universe and the gods who attend over it (for example, the triune Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu). The Adi Shakti is the Mother of all things. She gave birth to the universe and is the feminine power of every deity and celestial being (usually represented as their spouse). The Secret Book of John parallels this "She became the universal womb, for She precedes everything, the common parent, the first humanity, the Holy Spirit, the triple male (Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu?) the triple power (Parvati, Saraswati, Lakshmi, who are spouses of the triple males-or the triple Goddess of Western mythological tradition?)". Thus the Christian mystics understood that the Holy Spirit is the Divine Feminine, the Goddess, the Universal Mother herself. The Syriac Christians worshiped the Holy Ghost as the Great Mother. Phillip suggests that Mary Herself is the Holy Spirit (for who else but God the Mother can give birth to God the Son?). Other Apocryphal Scriptures describe Mary as the focus of Temple activities. Her early life was punctuated by auspicious portents all implying her own Divinity.

Just as Mary and the Holy Ghost appear to parallel aspects of the Divine Mother described in the East, so too does Christ, the son of God reflect the Eastern principle of the Divine Child. The Divine Child in the Eastern mythological tradition is commonly worshiped as the dual child-gods Ganesha and Kartikeya. Ganesha represents the fabric of the cosmos, the primordial Aum or Logos from which the creation was constructed. Christ affirmed the same primordial nature of himself when he said "I am the first" and "I am the alpha". Ganesha is the primordial child who is the embodiment of purity and innocence. Similarly Christ venerated children and the innocence that they manifested. He even urged the apostles (and us) to cultivate our own childlike innocence " let the children come to me for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" and "assuredly whoever does not receive the kingdom of god as a little child will by no means enter it"(Mark 10). Kartikeya is the same principle of innocence in dynamic action- the slayer of evil; as Christ did when he ejected the money lenders from the temple.

So, Christ seems to be telling us that the kingdom of Heaven, which is a state of God-like perfection and child-like innocence is attained by some inner phenomenon. In the Gnostic Scriptures Christ spoke directly of this as an inner transformation, self realisation.

He also told us that the Holy Ghost or Divine Mother is the power by which this is accomplished, but by what mechanism?

Let's take lateral look at the Indian tradition of Kundalini of which many local saints have spoken. Shankaracharya (700AD) and Gyaneshwara (1200AD) are two well known mystic exponents of Kundalini. They both describe the actualisation of self-realisation in their classic poetry, such as the Saundarya-Lahari, Sivananda-Lahari and the Gyaneshwari (itself a commentary on the Kundalini Yoga described by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita ). They describe a force of pure (virgin) spirituality, which lies dormant within the human being.

By constant purification and self perfection the seven vital energy centres (chakras) which govern all aspects of mind, body and soul, are prepared for the awakening of Kundalini. Once awakened by divine grace, the Kundalini passes through these centres, not unlike a string through beads, enlightening each as it passes through. Arriving at the seventh centre (Sahasrara) the seeker's awareness is united with the eternal-self-within. The experience is transrational, non causal, a tangible and real bliss of truth-awareness. Indian mystics called the Sahasrara "Paradise", "Heaven" or, as Christ has called it "The Kingdom of God Within". As the Kundalini passes through each of the vital centres, they are stimulated to produce a pure, nourishing energy. The Vedas (Ancient Scriptures of India) describe this energy as a sacred river emitted by each of the seven chakras. Shankaracharya called this energy "spun". He too described its nature as being like divine water showering down upon him as he meditated in the ecstacy of devotion. Other Indian scriptures call this energy "Paramchaitanya" (energy of supreme consciousness).The miracle of Whitsunday wherein the Apostles became empowered with their spirituality sounds similar to the experience of these chakras manifesting this same divine energy.

Shankaracharya said "All Glory unto the current of Divine Bliss which, brimming from the river of Thy Holy stories, flows into the lake of my mind, through the canals of intellect, subduing the dust of sin and cooling the heat of memory". Much of the gnostic texts repeat this ancient Eastern understanding.

Consider this tract from the Book of Hymns of the Dead Sea Scrolls: "I have reached the inner vision and through Thy Spirit in me I have heard Thy wondrous secret, through Thy mystic insight Thou hast caused a spring of knowledge to well up within me, a fountain of power, pouring forth living waters, a flood of love and of all embracing wisdom, like the splendour of eternal light". The "fountain of power", "spring of knowledge", "Living water", "flood of love", "eternal light" all directly describe the experience of Kundalini awakening! Consider this from the Nag Hammadi Library, the Apocryphal Gospel of Phillip "The Tree of Life is in the centre of Paradise, as is the oil tree from which the anointment Chrisma comes. The Chrism is the source of resurrection". Krishna, the divine being, c4000BC, also described the Kundalini as an inverted Tree of spirituality, whose roots lay in the brain. The 'Tree of Life' is a well recognised symbolic parallel of the Kundalini. So too is the Holy Grail, the cup from which Christ drank at the last supper its symbolic significance being that Christ's sustenance arose from a cup, that is, an object whose receptive qualities reflect the nature of the divine feminine -- yet another parallel of the Kundalini.

It is likely that St Phillip's 'Chrisma' is the same 'spun' described by Shankaracharya, the 'Paramchaitanya' or in Christian terminology 'God's grace'. In the Gospel of Peace, Christ explains that the experience of spirituality is foremost. He says the Scriptures are merely conveying an intellectual knowledge, but we are to have the 'living knowledge', that is the experience of our own spirituality. He says "Seek not the law in your Scriptures for the law is life, whereas the Scripture is dead. I tell you truly Moses received not his laws from God as writing but through the living word. The law is living word for living God to living prophets for living men. In everything that is life to the law is the law written, for I tell you truly all living things are nearer to God than the Scripture which is without life. I tell you truly that the Scripture is the work of man, but life and all its hosts are the work of our God. Wherefore do you not listen to the words of God which are written in his works? And wherefore do you study the dead Scriptures which are from the hands of men?". That is, seek the divine experience which is beyond definition, do not settle for mundane human interpretations of the mystic's suprahuman experience. Thus Christ's law is a living, cosmic and experiential one, and is actuated by the awakening of the spiritual experience within the seeker, not by intellectual study or by following those who themselves have not truly had the experience. This directly parallels the eastern teachings; that self- realisation, the pure spiritual awakening, is attained by the righteous and itself gives greater righteousness. More so, self realisation is a process of genuine, inner spiritual transformation which must be experienced to be understood, since it lies beyond the domain of scriptural description or theological definition. Since it is gained by the grace of the Divine Mother( Holy Spirit) alone, it is most certainly not possible to organise or institutionalise this experience in human terms.

This contrasts with the way in which the Churches have pigeonholed and categorised Christianity in terms of 'blind faith', 'obedience to the church' and empty ritual. In the Gnostic Scriptures, untouched by the organised churches, Christ urges us to perceive and experience the cosmic order for ourselves and not to rely on so-called scriptural authorities -- such as the churches -- to prescribe it to us.

C.G. Jung recognised the link between the Divine Feminine and the Eastern principle of Kundalini. He understood that the Kundalini was the representation of the Goddess within each of us. Is the Holy Ghost the Kundalini? Was the Kundalini a central principle in early mystic Christianity? Such an assumption would help us reinterpret many parts of the mainstream bible, for example; In the Gospel of John, Christ explains to the Pharisee Nicodemus, " Verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and the spirit; he cannot enter the kingdom of God", this second birth far from being a licence for so many born again Christian fundamentalists is something much more mystical and subtle in nature. To be "born of the water and the spirit" describes the awakening of Kundalini. She is often described as a divine mother whose ascent within the spine of the seeker gives them rebirth into mystic/gnostic awareness, the 'divine water' is its nourishing energy. The Kundalini enters the Sahasrara and there unites the seeker's awareness with the self or spirit. This is described as a blissful, infinite experience of the kingdom of God within. Thus, Christ's 'born again' Christianity might actually refer to those Christians who have entered the realm of direct experience of divinity, in the state of self realisation.

Other Canon (mainstream) Scriptures can be more deeply understood in this light. In the Gospel of Matthew, Christ says "Be Ye Perfect, even as Your Father which is in Heaven is perfect". (Ch.5, v. 48). This is a clear exhortation by Christ to strive and achieve spiritual perfection, just as the Buddha and other Eastern sages taught their disciples. Christ tells us about our innately divine nature "Ye are Gods" (Psalm 82, v.6; John 10, v.34). Furthermore "Behold the Kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17, v.21), that is the experience of Heaven is an internal phenomenon. This implies that the inner state of the seeker is the source of their spiritual fulfilment. We could well say that Christ's idea of Heavenly Salvation was an internal state of Godlike perfection.

When the seeker's awareness is completely united with the Eternal Spirit/Self/Atman the true self (not ego, mind, intellect, personality, body or memory) is experienced or realised. Since the spirit is no less than a reflection of God itself then in the state of complete Self Realisation the seeker experiences perfection" as our Father in Heaven is perfect". The Eastern term for this state of Self Realisation is God Realisation and it represents the final stage of our spiritual evolution.

There are deeper references to the chakras and kundalini in the Scriptures. For example, Revelations may also symbolically describe the chakras in St. John's spiritual vision;" I saw seven standing lamps of gold" (the chakras emitting the divine light?), John sees Christ as one of the seven lamps (you will see the significance of this later), Christ is holding the "seven stars" (demonstrating his command of the chakra system?) and speaks of the "seven churches" (the divine institution within each chakra?).

In Genesis Jacob envisions a divine ladder directly connecting his earthly being with God in Heaven- this precisely describes the experience and purpose of the kundalini!

Consider this idea: The term 'Jesus of Nazareth', does not (say German theologians) relate to Christ's times in Nazareth. Proper understanding of the original language shows that such a term is not linguistically possible (despite the fact that Paul uses it). The original term is more likely, "Jesus the Nazareen." Nazareen is an Aramaic word meaning "one who has bound himself to the service of God" or "one who is anointed." Compare this to the meaning of Yoga, "Union with God" and 'Yogi' – one who has union with god or to descriptions of the awakening of the Kundalini, "the mystical anointment". The Nazaria were a group of Gnostics contemporary to Christ. They taught a mystic spirituality similar to the Eastern ideas already described. It has been suggested by some authorities that this Gnostic word is ultimately derived from the Hindustani 'Nazar.' This is a yogic term for the point between the eyebrows and above the nose (the 'third eye') where sages of old performed meditation. 'Nazaren' means to envision or behold. Then a more accurate meaning of "Jesus the Nazareen" would be "Jesus who has Yoga or Self Realisation" or "Jesus who meditates". Considering Christ's status as the" Son of God" perhaps a more appropriate meaning would be "Jesus who is the object of meditation". Was Christ himself the object of meditation as are many deities in Eastern cultures? Christ himself might well be the Nazaren.

The Nazar physically corresponds to the location of the Agnya chakra, the sixth vital chakra through which the Kundalini must pass before She enters the Sahasrara.

The Agnya manifests physically as the 'optic chiasm' whose shape itself is cruciform! Is the cosmic Christ represented within each of us in the Nazar, Agnya chakra, just as the cosmic Mother or Holy Ghost is represented within us as the Kundalini?

The position of the Agnya chakra is such that it is the final centre to be crossed before the Kundalini finishes its journey to the Sahasrara ( the 'Kingdom of God Within'). Entry of the Kundalini into the Sahasara gives the blissful experience of divine awareness. This literally explains Christ's words, "None can enter Heaven except through me".

Ponder also on Christ's instruction 'to be as little children' or "look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them....which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"(Matthew 6). The innocence of mind which he describes is that same Zen awareness obtained in the state of meditation, when the Agnya chakra is pierced by the Kundalini giving rise to a heightened awareness of the present moment, all thoughts of past and future neutralised. Consider also that Christ himself told us, "When your two eyes become one, your body will be filled with light." This implies that when we go beyond the physical sight ( the two eyes) to the subtle experience or perception which occurs by opening of the third eye and thus entry of the awareness into the Sahasrara our body is filled with light, purity, grace etc.

There is further symbolism eg. the twelve apostles represent six pairs which are symbolic of the lower six chakras from Mooladhara to Agnya. These six chakras are limited to dual awareness, ie. past and present, cause and effect. However, the final chakra, Sahasrara, represented here by Christ, who was the leader of the twelve apostles is non-dual, being derived from an awareness higher than the causal plane.

Here are some possible conclusions which are equally reasonable, though entirely contrary to modern dogma about Christ and Christianity. Christ's spirituality differed radically from our modern understanding. His teaching was dynamic and zen-like focusing on the experience of inner purification and transformation, the elevation of the seeker's awareness into the state (not concept or dogma) of self-realisation. He sought to overthrow the immoral culture of the Romans and to deliver to the dogmatic, letter-bound Jews the mystic fulfilment promised to them in the Mosaic covenant.

Central to his teaching was the understanding that the feminine aspect of God, God the Mother, was the means by which self-realisation and spiritual evolution to god-awareness occurred. Christ venerated the Divine Mother as the Holy Spirit. It is this power, described in the East as residing in the human being as the Kundalini, that is the last vestige of the Goddess-tradition in the Christian West.

Mary was in her own right a divine being. She was venerated as such by Christ and some of the suppressed scriptures describe her as the Holy Spirit incarnate.

Why did the Churches suppress these true christian traditions? Partly because they are patriarchal institutions based on the questionable dogma of Paul who perceived women (and therefore the feminine principle) as inferior entities. Partly also because spirituality which focused on the Divine Feminine would also focus on the redemptive power of God the Mother and on Her role as the grantor and matriarch of mystical experience. This kind of understanding, like all mystics and mysticism, defies organisation, dogmatic hierarchies and institutions preferring the role of individual experience, revelation and progressive growth toward divine awareness.

The Holy Ghost, then, threatened to neutralise the fear-oriented dogma which the Churches have used, in the name of Christ and Spiritual Truth, to maintain their secular power and wealth.

Christ's promise of a comforter, the "second coming", implies another divine incarnation to bring about the redemption of humanity. As we have seen it is the Divine Mother who has the power to redeem her children, the Sons of Man (as the gnostics put it), in the eyes of God the Father.

Who better to comfort the children who suffer, as does the West and much of the world from a culture whose ethic of materialism and immediate gratification is characterised by terms such as "the lost generation", "eco-disaster", "terrorism", "future shock" and "psycho-social alienation", than the Divine Mother?

C.G. jung, in his critique of the Western psyche keynoted the absence of the Feminine Principle as a major cause of much of the West's psycho-cultural imbalance. The return of the Divine Feminine would indeed facilitate the spiritual redemption of Western Culture.

With this perspective we may be able to understand a key image from Revelations;

"A great Portent in Heaven, a Woman robed with the Sun, beneath her Feet the Moon, and on her Head a Crown of twelve Stars. She was pregnant, and in the anguish of Her Labour She cried out to be Delivered. Then a second Portent appeared in Heaven: a great red Dragon with seven Heads and ten Horns; on his Heads were seven Diadems, and with his Tail he swung down a third of the Stars in the Sky and flung them to Earth. The Dragon stood in front of the Woman who was about to give birth, so that when Her Child was born He might devour It. She gave birth to a male child, who is destined to rule all the Nations with an Iron Rod....."

The Divine Woman, a central figure of Revelations, is the Comforter Herself. The crown of stars indicates that Her authority and heritage is of the Divine Father, the moon, upon which She resides is another symbol of the feminine.

As the Divine Mother She is giving birth, ie. self-realisation, and succeeds in producing a man-child. A man indicating spiritual maturity and dynamic action and yet a child symbolising purity of heart and that quality of innocence which Christ taught was essential to enter into the state of Heavenly Experience. The dragon who stands over the Woman as She labours waiting to devour the child could well be the Churches. Their 2000 year vigil against the Divine Feminine lest she produce a race of Gnostics is evident in their manipulation and suppression of the scriptures. Revelations tells us that the Divine Children are destined to overcome the beast and establish a New Age of divine awareness.

Consider Christs warning "he who has blasphemed against the holy ghost shall be damned forever".

What then of the Churches who have virtually edited the divine feminine out of the Western Cultural tradition in order to maintain their grip on the masses?
