How to take a screenshot on Windows

The screenshots are photos that can be taken to the PC screen without using external equipment. Thanks to them, you can show to the public in the form of images, what happens on the desktop of the computer at a given time. They are particularly useful when you have a problem on your PC and you want to ask for remote assistance on a forum!

All you need is SnapCrab, a free program for Windows (all versions) that allows you to capture snapshots of the desktop PC, the individual portions of the latter or individual windows in an extremely easy and fast way. The resulting images can be saved on your PC or shared online. Here’s how to take a screenshot using it.

To select the format and destination folder of the screenshots made with Snapgrab , you have to click the gear icon in the toolbar of this program and select Detailsfrom the menu that appears. In the window that opens, select the file format in which to save the snapshots from the drop- down menu Image format ( the default format is set PNG) and the folder in which to save the latter by putting a check mark next to one of the items placed under the heading Save to capture in . By default is selected the Desktop, but putting a check mark next to Selected Folderyou can choose any folder on your PC.

You can also change the combinations of keyboard keys associated with the functions of SnapCrab , by going Hotkey tab , and enter the details of your Twitter account and Evernote to post screenshots of these two services by going online in the homonym cards . In addition, in the Other Shrink find the option to automatically resize the screenshots made . All very quickly and intuitively.

How to Recover Forgot Android Pattern Lockscreen using CMD (No Root & No Third-party App)

Note:

Make sure that your computer is set up with ADB (Android SDK) incase you don't have the ADB or don't know how to set it up heres a YouTube tutorial for you to follow.

Make sure that your Android device setting for "USB Debugging" isENABLED or active.

Home>Apps>Settings>Developers options>USB debugging> check the box to enable

Make sure that your computer is equipped with necessary drivers and use your native USB cable.

FOLLOW this steps:

1. Plug-in your device to your PC using your USB cable (works on Windows, Mac and Linux). Make sure that you have an active pattern screenlock.

2. On your PC click on START / SEARCH / RUN and type "cmd" to launch the Command Prompt

3. On the cmd window type in "adb shell" (no quotation marks) then hit enter.

4. After entering type "rm /data/system/gesture.key" (no quotation marks) then hit enter.

5. After the process you need to "REBOOT" your Android device (without unplugging it to your PC).

6. After your phone fires up unplug it to your PC then your good to go... CONGRATULATIONS you successfully bypassed your Pattern Lock Screen, your phone now will accept any pattern you will draw on the lock screen as VALID and CORRECT.

Now if you're thinking that your phone's lock screen is not working properly. You can create a new Pattern password as normal as you did before the process like nothings happend. This will not hurt your phone's functions if you follow the steps.

How to fix a computer that won’t boot

Here are some common errors Windows 7 and Vista errors which this guide can fix:

no bootable device – insert boot disk and press any key
NTLDR is missing or corrupted
Ntoskrnl.exe is missing
Ntdetect.com is missing
BOOTMGR is missing or corrupted
NTFS.SYS is missing
Hal.dll is missing

How to fix a computer that won’t boot

STEP 1 : Turn your computer on, booting from either your Windows 7 Installation DVD or Windows 7 System Recovery Disc. Remember, you may need to change the boot order inside your BIOS to have the your DVD drive boot first.

STEP 2: After the installation or recovery disc loads, if prompted, select your language settings and then continue. If you are using the installation DVD, when prompted by the following screen select Repair your computer.

STEP 3: The computer will take a moment now to scan itself for any Windows installations, after which you will likely be given a choice to select which installation you wish to repair. Select the appropriate Windows installation from the list and then continue. If by chance a problem is detected in one of your Windows installations at this initial stage, the system may also ask you if it can try to repair the problem automatically. It is up to you if you wish to let the system try to repair itself, but otherwise just select No.

STEP 4: Once you have reached the System Recovery Options screen, as shown below, you will be faced with a list of choices that can aid you in repairing a damaged Windows 7 operating system. If you wish to try the Startup Repair option first, it is often successful in automatically fixing many different start up issues, but in this article we will be using the Command Prompt option to resolve our problems manually. So, click Command Prompt to continue.

STEP5: Now sitting at the command prompt, enter the following command and then press enter:

bootrec.exe /FixMbr

If successful, you should be greeted with the message The operation completed successfully. That’s it! Your Master Boot Record has been repaired.

While the above command does fix the MBR, and sometimes that is enough, there still might be an error with the system partition’s boot sector and Boot Configuration Data (BCD). This might occur if you have tried to install another operating system alongside Windows 7, such as Windows XP. To write a new boot sector, try the following command:

bootrec.exe /FixBoot

If you are still faced with your Windows 7 installation not being detected during start up, or if you wish to include more than one operating system choice to your system’s boot list, you can try the following command to rebuild your BCD:

bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd

The above command will scan all your disks for other operating systems compatible with Windows 7 and allow you to add them to your system’s boot list. If this fails, you may need to backup the old BCD folder* and create a new one in its place with the following commands:

bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup

cd boot

attrib bcd -s -h -r

ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

bootrec /RebuildBcd

*Some users also find simply deleting the boot folder and retrying the above steps effective at resolving boot issues, but it is not recommended.

How to change active partitions

Upon purposely changing the active partition on my system drive, I was faced with a BOOTMGR is missing error during my system’s start up that prevent Windows from starting. It is a common mistake to make when playing with partitions on a system drive and it can be a headache to solve if not prepared. To change your active partition back using the Windows 7 recovery disc or Installation DVD, follow the steps below.

STEP 1: Follow steps one to four in the above guide. This should take you to the Command Prompt in the Windows Recovery Environment.

STEP 2: Type DiskPart and then press Enter.

Step three: Type List Disk now and then press Enter. This command will list all disks attached to your computer and assign them a disk number.

STEP 3: Type Select Disk x, where x is the number for the disk containing the partition you wish to make active. Press Enter.

STEP 5: Type List Partition and then press Enter. You will now be shown a list of the partitions on the selected disk. Determine which partition you wish to make active.

You’ll see a list which will display your system partition.

If you are get tired of deleting many apps one by one and dont wanna waste your time so there is the way to uninstall multiple apps right on the spot and save your precious time, Just get concentrated.

Install ES File Explorer

1. Open the Play Store on your device.

2. Search or install from here ES File Explorer.

Uninstall The Apps

1. Open ES File Explorer by going into your app drawer and tapping the ES File Explorer app (on the bottom right in my app drawer).

2. Tap the screen three times to get past the first-time use tutorial.

3. Tap the blue globe/phone icon on the top left of the screen when the tutorial clears.

4. Tap the “Tools” option when the menu appears on the left.

5. Tap ”App Manager.”

6. Tap and hold an app you want to uninstall until you see check-boxes appear on each app icon.

7. Continue tapping all the apps you want to uninstall.

8. Tap the “Uninstall” button marked with a trash can icon on the bottom left after selecting the apps you want to uninstall.

9. Hit “OK” on each of the popup notifications that appear until they stop.

Uninstall ES File Explorer (Optional)

Once you are done uninstalling all the apps you need to, you can optionally uninstall ES File Explorer (or you can just hang on to it as it is a great file explorer app, up to you).

1. Open the app drawer on your device and find the ES File Explorer app.

2. Tap and hold the ES File Explorer app icon.

3. Drag it to Uninstall at the top left of the screen when it appears.

4. Press “OK” in the notification popup and you’ll be returned to your phone’s home screen.

How To Install Windows XP By CD and USB, many of my friends ask me, how to install this OS in their PC? The best to install windows XP is by clean install. We can not install any windows XP by click in setup and then do installation, this method is really bad and it false. The best way to install this os is by making bootable windows, we can make it by using DVD / CD and the other way by using USB. I’ve made some tutorial installing Windows By using USB, you can find it here. Today i’ll share to you Tips Install Windows XP bu bootable XP in CD.

HOW TO MAKE BOOTABLE WINDOWS XP :

1. Find the best windows xp in this site. You can find many type of xp in this site

2. After you have the master, now you need software image burner. Make sure that your master OS is in .ISO format. Example : xp_black_2013.ISO.

3. Burn your master .ISO file in your CD

4. After burning process finish, now you have bootable windows xp in your CD.

5. Turn Off your computer or restart it. Enter Bios Mode. you can pressed DEL or F2 or F12, in every PC it’s different, if you have problem in this process, comment bellow said your pc version and I’ll find it for you. See for the example in image below

6. After if you have CD then move CD-ROM Drive in the first place, if u have pendrive then move Removable Device as First then Press F10 save and exit changes.

7. Restart your PC. If the step that you followed was right, it should show “Press Any Key To Boot From CD”. Then Press enter in keyboard

8. After process in number 6, then we will enter Windows setup. In this feature we will create partition in hard disk. In this step, There are three point feature :

To set up Windows XP on the selected item, press Enter
This process will execute if you already choose the partition drive. You must choose where it will be install. Example : Drive C
To Create a partition in the unpartitioned space, press C
You can use this feature if you have partitioned space, example : Unpartition Space : 80000 Mb
You can make new drive with size 80000 Mb by pressing “C”. Why it must be “C”, C means Create.
To delete the selected partition, press D
This feature to delete the partition drive, make the partition be unpartition so you can make new partition drive
Note : This feature will delete all data in your partition drive

9. After you choose your option, then it will ask agreement.To agree press F8.

10. Now you already learn, how to create Install Windows XP, delete partition. Now we will be in installing process. See your partition drive. If you want install this windows i really recommended to install in Drive C. Choose Drive C and then press “Enter” this will let you to do installation process. Before installing it will Format your drive and then Transfer Xp files to your drive like in picture below

11. After the process finish, it will do restart automatically. It’s normal, so don’t be panic.

Wait till it show interface like below.

12. After this image, then it will do XP Setup Installation Process, in this step what must we do? we only need wait and see till the process finish.

13 In step 12, you will ask to enter the date and the language setting. Just follow the step and it will finish. After all point has been installed then in Xp Original you will ask to enter serial number. Like the picture below, just enter your serial number then press next.

14. The next step, we will enter Display Setting, in this step you only need to press Button “OK” and it will save your setting.

15. Then it will show Windows XP logo, that means your installation has been finish and succes.

16. The installation has been finish, now you can enjoy your new install windows XP and get the best experience in this OS. Don’t forget to install driver xp for your PC.
