Well its been long time,I have not write a post in my blog. A lot of changes I see in this blogger platform. Nuffnang ads still running and shockingly there are people still viewing my old articles. Thats fantastic. And guess what, I am not an ICT student from International Islamic University Malaysia anymore. I am IIUM ALUMNI. Alhamdulillah.

Now as you read the title, yeah 2015 is a year that I learn alot about how painful life is. I felt cheated from what I know during my studies in University and school. "Menara Gading" bullshit, high paid salary bullshit, degree scroll will make you do better in life. Turns out it not. You work to pay your bills. WTF ? Hahaha, what a hard way I learned it. Well its all depends on what god have planned on you. But I have learn some to get me started on my new chapter of my life.

So I what I have learned so far about life apart from my technical skills.

1. Keep your circle small
Friends will come and go. There was a time you will think that this friend will be together with you till the end. Almost everyday,you guys are together. In the end, after graduation he/she will be in somewhere in a better place for that person. And you will feel left out. So what I learn? You know the answer already. 2-3 friends should be fine. Make sure your friend is reliable,not "sembang kencang". Sometimes your enemy is your friend.

2. Learn about business before start doing a full time business at least work first.
I have a thought to start a startup after my last day of my internship which is also my last day of my degree education. During the first 3 month, I start provide service to build website and apps. I do sales and result is that, I feel f*&^ed. So many things I dont know.

What the customer want? Are we solving the problem?.
Portfolio is important to convince your customer which I dont have.
IT tech is moving damn fast, so better catch up.
Be specialized in a field,not jack of all trade.

So I landed a job in a design lab. I feel grateful to GOD for giving a chance to survive and keep learning. Few things I learn about demand in IT industry. But still need to learn more. Hope enough to find a problem and solve it immediately.

3. Start saving for future.
Malaysia economy basically is screwed up. No point I am cursing at the ministers or our Prime Minister or other politicians. As normal citizen with salary just enough to survive at kl, I learn some things. Try save 10% from your salary to save money for future investment to buy house,car,marriage and etc. Food is expensive in KL,nothing can do about it. People tell me to cook. But I dont have time to cook. My housemate cook sometimes. They are also busy. But I really love my housemate when they cook. I learn some things. Like chinese style cooking. Besides that, I learn some stuff about property investment,monthly budget, and insurans.

4. Priorities
Well this something that you question everyday.

Is this important?
I have promised him,so I cannot go and blablabla
Stop procrastinate, finish the client request first.
Game/series or finish building final part of website?

And many more. Procrastinate will hit you alot. Trust me. Is because you will eventually hate what you are doing. Need to overcome it. Its not that easy.

5. Jack of all trade
Nope, you cant be jack of all trade. Ok, this is related to my career. I actually wanted to be an app developer. And same time I love building website and want to learn big data and IoT. You cant do everything. Stick with one thing and master it. The other thing will come along. Thats what I learn. I decide to be a web developer. As I go in this journey, making a smartphone app is possible with web technologies and as I go along, I believe I will learn something interesting. 6. Read alot.
It really helps to build your mind and thinking style. Not only that, it helps your decision making skill. I spend most of my time reading articles in Medium.com. It really helpful on self-help,DIY tips, lifestyle issues and etc.

7.Public transport in KL
I learn 1 thing which is KTM lines that head Batu Caves and LRT service is the best public transport that you can rely 90% in KL. The rest depends on your time management and planning.

8. Travel
The reason why we need to travel is relax our mind,put our gadgets away, and learn about other people thinking and culture and learn to appreciate on things back at our country at same time curse at our country to make it better. Hahaha. Well I went to Brunei and Singapore actually. Already tought to migrate, but still deep in my heart, Malaysia still need us because we are the one who bring better future to Malaysia.

9. Move On
This two words I need to practise on whatever things happen. When I found a problem, I need to search a solution and move on with it. Nother been easier in this life. Recently I regret on many things based on decision that I have made. Sometimes I wish I can travel back in time to change my decision. But no point regret about it.It is better to move on and pray for the best.

10.Be grateful on how you are now
All what I can say is be thankful and happy with the blessings that GOD have given to us. We eat maggi, nasi goreng biasa with telur mata, thosai,roti canai almost everyday while other eat at hipster cafe,eating luxury food, & high price food. Just ignore and eat what we have. Dont complain. There are some people could not afford to eat.

I go to work by public transport and I don't have own transport like car or motorcycle. I just ignore and happy at least I can go work with the public transport.

While I am in LRT, when the station reach KLCC or Ampang Park. Some of the them so proud displaying the company Staff ID and wear expensive clothes. Screw it, who are they without that company name? . You are just nobody.

11. Instagram is a good places to keep memories and measure yourselves.
If you have Instagram, look at the picture that you have posted. You can determine whether , are you getting better or worse on your daily lifestyle. You can determine your life progress. What about mine? I can say I don't have a life. T.T

So,you have read on what I learn this year but I have a question that makes me deep tought for a while after a good friend of mine asked me. What is your next 5 years plan? Immediately, I feel blank and don't know what to answer. This is serious. Imagine a life without a goal. Imagine you die without a legacy left behind. This is an important issue to think about.

Yeah, I have join as first batch for MIT Global Startup Lab Malaysia. Tak percaya ?. This is profile link.

Its a new experience for me to join a 7 week of startup bootcamp by balancing my self with Ramadhan challenges and crazy stuff throughout the journey. But it do help me a lot for learning on starting a startup

Basically what is this program all about?

It is a program that train students to learn about starting a startup and managing it. We learn about programming such as DJango ,Python & Android and also we learn about entrepreneurship. But most of all we learn about how to do 60s pitch and one-sentence word. Its kinda complicated to put proper sentences for your idea to impress people in short time so that they like your idea especially the judges and investors.

Our trainers?
4 lovely people who came long way from US. Ellen,Cole,Wesley and also Kayla. Friendly and motivated to teach us everyday throughout 7 weeks.

Throughout the Bootcamp, we had few field trips to get some exposure on local startups and few sharing session with local startup founder/co-founder.

At the end of the bootcamp, we come up our own apps and had pitching session to present our idea and business plan about it. Tough judges but we can see how good our idea is.

So overall,it was a good experience and exposure on tough things is.

Tutorial to create Windows 8.1 AIO iso file

Alhamdulillah, I have manage to combine 64-bit and 32-bit Windows 8.1 installer into single installer known as AIO(all-in-one). I really want to do this because not everyone have same computer specification to install either 64bit or 32bit. And I dont want to reformat my thumb-drive to create bootable USB for windows 8 64bit/32bit. So, I "Google" around to find tutorial on how to do Windows 8.1 AIO .ISO installation file and I found one, and spend more than 2 hours to try it out. So let me show you,how I did it.

Before you begin,make sure you have this software's in your computer.
1. Windows 8.1 Professional 32-bit and 64-bit installer .iso file.
2. .Net 4.5 Framework
3. Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK)
4. Winrar / 7-Zip

To install Windows ADK , make sure you have tick a checkbox option for Deployment tools

1. Create a folder in local disk C named as "win81aio" and inside this folder create another 3 folder named as win81, x64, x86. (make sure everything is in lowercase)

2. Most important part,take note

Extract windows 8.1 32-bit files in .iso to win81 folder using winrar/7-zip. And then move(cut and paste) the "install.wim" file which is inside "sources" folder to x86 folder.
Extract windows 8.1 64-bit "install.wim" file in "sources" folder in .iso to x64 folder.

3. Now create a file name ei and the extension is cfg using notepad. aka ei.cfg. And type this code inside the file. The purpose of creating this file is to skip/bypass the step to key-in product key during windows 8.1 installation.

4. Now copy and paste the "ei.cfg" that you have created into "sources" folder inside win81 folder.

5. Now open Deployment and imaging tools CMD as administrator. Dont open CMD that is located in accessories. Open the CMD that is located in Windows Kits>Windows ADK>Deployment and Imaging Tools Environment. CMD means command prompt.

6. After that, type this command one at a time

Dism /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:c:\win81aio\x86\install.wim /SourceIndex:1 /DestinationImageFile:c:\win81aio\win81\sources\install.wim /DestinationName:"Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit" /compress:maximum

Dism /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:c:\win81aio\x64\install.wim /SourceIndex:1 /DestinationImageFile:c:\win81aio\win81\sources\install.wim /DestinationName:"Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit" /compress:maximum

7. After done with 2 command above.Type this command.This is the final step to create the win81aio.iso image.

oscdimg -bC:\win81aio\win81\boot\etfsboot.com -h -u2 -m -lwin81aio C:\win81aio\win81\ C:\win81aio.iso

This will take sometime. So feel free to have a cup of coffee or watch some YouTube videos about cats.LOL

8. After the process complete, you can find win81aio.iso image at the root folder of local disk C.

9. Tadaa, Its done. Its easy but a bit time consuming. You can use this windows 8.1 installer iso image by either burn to DVD or create a bootable USB.

Wow time really move fast. Many new things I have learned through out the year 2013. Sweet and sour memories occurred, meet new people,regrets, excitement, & hope.

So any new year resolution? . You know what, screw it. I don't want any new year resolution. Because I am not working through it. But I have set goals since 1 Muharram 1435H.

What is it?

ermm I forgot actually.

Pear OS 8 Review

Pear OS 8. I have never heard it before until I read a post in a tech blog about it. And I was amazed with the features. What amazed me was, it is a Ubuntu based distro (distribution) and design interface like Mac OS.

Ubuntu + Mac OS = WT*?

So,i think for a while. Google some info about Pear OS. And i decide to delete my Ubuntu 12.04 and install Pear OS 8 and dual-boot with windows 7 in my laptop. You dont believe it dont you?

GRUB menu looks different

So what makes it different than Ubuntu 12.04. Well, i look at the boot time. Kind fast a bit than Ubuntu boot time. Pear OS use gnome-shell interface. Looks responsive. Software center same like Ubuntu Software center. Pear OS has included its own software like cache cleaner called Clean My Pear, tweak tool called My Pear 6. And some useful tools for our daily task.

I tried installing java,Skype,android-studio. So far no prob. If you have used Ubuntu before i don't think it will a problem to use it.

Trip to India

Well, for the last 3 weeks of my 3 month of my semester break, I have decided to visit my grandparents in India and also enjoy my time there. But turn out it become a sad trip. As it turn out, my grandfather is checked-in at a hospital in ICU due to not feeling well during my first day in India. It seems that he had some sort of internal bleeding in his brain but he managed to recovered from it. And after that another new problem arises whereby he had difficulties in breathing. So he have to transfer to another hospital at Chennai to aid his health due to not enough facilities to cure my grandfather problem. But thanks to Allah. On my last 3 days in India,My grandfather show some improvement in his health,getting recover in good pace.

Not a good story to hear eh? I know. But throughout this trip, I have observe myself and people around me.
Thing I learned is that.

1. Always be grateful for what Allah have give you.
2. Do good deeds before you fall sick.
3. Save some money for future needs. We don't what will happen on that time.
4. Love the people who still around you. You wont meet them again if they die.
5. Get adapt to a place quickly. Don't show off that you are Malaysian guy in other people place. Just stay low.

Tips to make Android Phone on best performance all the time

How to make android phone fast?

How to fix insufficient storage?

How to fix lag?

How to remove stubborn apps or remove samsung apps?

The questions that I typed above is the typical question raised by Android users since Day 1 of the phone usage. So,how I fix this major issues on my phone? Well,let me share with you. Its up to you,to follow it or not.I just share my knowledge. :-)

1. ROOT

Seriously? I don't want to broke my warranty. Don't worry,you can "unroot" it.

Why root? Because the rest of the tips,the apps that you need will need root access.

What is root? I don't want to blah2x about this. Just watch this video,to make you understand.

So how to root? well just google "how to root <android version><phone model name>".

My tips is just click the result from "xda-developers." You can trust them. Or try search in Youtube to make you understand the steps clearly. Or ask your friend who know rooting stuff to root your phone.

2. Reboot/restart your phone after your phone is fully charged.
Yes,it sounds crazy but it works for me. just reboot if you finish charging up your phone. Works better if you turn off your phone,and turn it on after 10 seconds.
Use this app to reboot in one click. Its call reboot widget.

3. Partition you SD-card and install link2sd.

Why partition your SD-card? What I am going to share with you is that,you see for android phones that gets low internal memory error or insufficient storage. We need to free some memory.So what we will do is that,we will move all the apps that take so much space in internal memory into the partitioned SD-card by force it move to SD-card or link it with link2SD. Besides that,if you don't want some bloatware apps functioning,you can freeze it with link2SD.I will talk about this later.

How to partition your SD-card. Obviously you need to format your SD-card.Make sure you have back it up. Here some link that show step by step to partition SD-card and using link2sd. I prefer to partition my sd-card via minitool,not CMW.

4. Increase CPU Speed.

Install this app called No-Frills Cpu Control . Just change the minimum CPU speed. You will see the difference. Just play safe,else your battery will drain fast and your phone heated UP! Make sure tick the checkbox,to apply on boot.

5. Install Clean Master.

This is a recommended app from me. It works better after you make link2sd settings & CPU speeds.

What it does?. It will monitor your RAM,notify you if RAM almost full to clean up some space or kill unnecessary process. Clean cache,with one click. good uninstaller. Watch this video,to see the features demo.

6. Remove bloatware
What is bloatware? watch this video.

Well,i did this by just using link2sd. Just find the apps you want to remove. Tap and hold for few seconds,you will see a pop-up list of actions,just choose uninstall. If you scared to remove it due to warnings that prompted,just choose freeze.
You can also do this by using titanium backup. Watch this video to see how to do it.

Tutorial to a create Google chrome app extension

Hey guys,in this post,I am going to share with you on how to create a simple Hello World app for Google Chrome App or extension. Why Hello world? Why not a tutorial to build other app?

Ok, lets make things simple. First of all,based on my understanding, in order to create a Google chrome app/extension. It is just like build a html website and package it with manifest.json files.
In Google chrome app/extension. It's just need a file with

a manifest.json file
a .html file
a .css file
a. javascript file (can also include jQuery inside javascript)

Take note here,please don't include javaScript code's in HTML file. Chrome hate it! Make sure save it in separate file. So,if you good with building websites, i dont think that will be a problem. Its same.

So,lets start. All you need is ideas,a Chrome web browser and a text editor.

1. Create a folder to save all your files inside. Can put anywhere,make sure you remember it. Prefer to put it in Desktop(for windows). Like me,i create in Home folder in Ubuntu/Linux. So,name anything for your folder. Like me,i create a folder called "chrome app".

2. Open a textEditor like notepad,adobe dreamweaver,sublime text,or etc. I'm using Sublime text 2.
So now,we will create a manifest.json file and save in chrome app folder that you created few minutes ago.

This is the code for manifest.json .

In this file, you are telling the properties of your app/extension such as which file it should open when the user click the app/extension icon, manifest version, permission to access user details,network,API and etc.

3. Now,lets create a HTML file called hello.html

4. Now lets test it. So ,now go to your chrome browser,load extension. Just type on your URL bar chrome://extensions/ . And then click developer mode and open "Load unpacked extension"

After you clicked , Load unpacked extension,choose the folder that we save manifest.json & hello.html which is "chrome app" folder and click "open".

and it will install the extension you have created.

so now the click the icon that located next to the URL bar. it look like a piece of puzzle. And look for the magic by yourselves. :) Thats your first chrome app. Wohoo!

How to install Java jdk in Linux/Ubuntu

Hey there,since i am IT student. We all need to have java in our computer. So, if you using Ubuntu,how to install it? Well, luckily I found a tutorial in YouTube. It is easy. Just make sure you good internet connection. The installation will take more than 5 minutes.

So,first thing first. Open Terminal.

This are the command used. The first 3 steps is for preparing the installation process.
PS:// when you type sudo for first time, it will ask your PC password,just type it slowly. you will understand why.

1. sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
2. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
3. sudo apt-get update
4. sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

Install Android Studio in Linux Mint 14

Well, since i switched from windows into Linux. I need to learn many thing because the environment and software installation are different here in Linux compared to windows. When i want to install the new Android SDK which is the Android Studio. I dont know how to install. So,I googled on to how to install it. :)

Alhamdulillah,I found a simple tutorial and it worked. :)

Turning Normal TV into Internet TV or Smart TV

I always ask to myself on how to turn normal TV into an Internet TV. Or should I say a Smart TV.After few while I surfing in Internet, I finally found it. It is a very cheap solution and it is powered by Android. Cool is it?

Well, how it works?.
Its pretty simple. Just connect HDMI cable to the device & your tv. Connect Android mini stick power supply to the device. Once the device is on, just change the TV source into HDMI. After that, you will see a usual Android tablet interface.Those who use Android will understand what I am saying. Basically what I want to share here is, Me and my friends come out a crazy ideas when we were hanging out. We were thinking to do something awesome before we graduate from our University. The result is,in our Kulliyah(faculty in Arabic) ..we have trees. so why not we decorate the tree with LED lights and it can follow up with music pulse. The concept is just use Arduino Micro Controller Board, LEDS ,and of course batteries as power supply.

running the emulator

*P/S .if you running your windows on Windows 8 and using processor which is not i3/i5/i7 or any other equivalent processor. Your emulator will not work due to not support virtualization. You may get this error when you installing the SDK . You can test the app with your windows phone . T.T

the solution is from what I facing now is try develop your windows app based on windows phone 7.1 .Then only the emulator works.

I found a website called code.org
It is a website where it provides links and also free tutorials where we can learn programming in easy and fun way. Besides that, we can learn javascript,Ruby,Phyton in online. Wow!

Why I like to learn in this website is,I dont need a software or compiler or setting to do it.
Just a browser and a Internet connection.

Before I know this website.I used codecademy. It was awesome. You should try now.

Since I am "Kaki Download",love to download things. So,i always consider my Internet Speed to download a file in short time. Usually,i download stuff in my university lab.They provide good speed plus I used the LAN Internet connection to download. I face many problem during download.And I dont know why,maybe because of peak hour,RJ45 cable problem,server down,etc.

Seriously, everytime when I am at my hometown during my holidays.I always faced this dilema which is what to do in Internet.So boring!!!!!!!!!
Is like there is nothing in YouTube,facebook,twitter,instagram,etc.

I am out of option on what to do in Internet World.I know Internet is big Virtual World but dont know what to do with that awesome technologies.

Well,during my school times,in the Internet i used to play miniclips,friendster,download stuff,and etc.
But now,it somehow changes.How?

Well,now i surf facebook,twitter,blogging,webstagram(instagram in web),youtube,and etc.Still downloading(kaki download,biasa lah)

Well,I'm sure many of you know what is this logo means.Just like Photoshop,this is logo for adobe after effect. Adobe After Effect is a software to add effect in your video like shooting,dragon ball effect,hulk effect,and etc.Watch this video to see the application of After Effect.

So,I am IT student.I think I need to learn this also for my skills.I still learning on how to use this software.I have asked around from my senior's and friends on how they learn after effect.This is what they shared to me.

For me this guy,is a Xifu for After Effect.He knows many things in after effects. Just click on the link.This website provide basic training and also tutorial for the effects.So learn the basic first.

How Youtube can teach us?.Well just search "after effect tutorial".There are some awesome guys will teach their effects. I searched "Modern Warfare after effect",there is also people did tutorial for the text.Try one. Futhermore,you search effect based on movies like Thor,the expendables,or sherlock holmes.Wow...

I have another method which is shared by my senior which is learning by editing the After Effect templates.So since I learn the basics,InshaAllah I gonna try this one.
