This is what I've been working on for the past week. (click image for full-size)

Keigan and I have a new member of our family. Meet our 5 year old dachshund, Anubis (named after the Egyptian God of death). He is the sweetest and smartest little doggie.

Also been playing around with some lighting effects and really pleased with how it turned out. Still having issues figuring out Keigan's hair though...

I've finished several stories lately.

I've always hated to reach the end of a good story. It always makes me sad to say goodbye to characters I've become attached to.

I really like how panel 2 turned out.

Exaggerated for dramatic effect, but while I only put a few tablespoons of coffee grounds in the machine, others fill it to the top. I like my coffee the way it is.

I like Nutella WAY too much. I'll put it on anything and everything or eat it with a spoon. I have to tell myself not to buy it when I go to the store.

Based on conversations I've actually had with people. I once had a thirty minute religious debate with a Mormon boy who was trying to convert me. His closing statement was "You should go to Wal-Mart and buy a Bible and read it."

I like having religious conversations with people, but when they're closed-minded and keep calling me evil, it gets kind of old.

This happened last year when Keigan and I went on a road trip. While driving across Wisconsin you'll see a bunch of these signs but there will be no exit and you see nothing but farmland. It's really weird.

If you don't know, Harvest Moon is a farming video game. It's quite fun.

We have a LOT of ravens around here and they all make really weird sounds. Gets a bit annoying.

Sometimes being from a place that has REALLY cold winters has its perks.

People walk around here all bundled up and shivering in 40-50 degree weather while Keigan and I are thinking "Heatwave!" and of course they look at us funny wondering what on earth is wrong with us.

A Shot in the Dark

We spent a lot of our time in the dark, especially when the exit signs ran out of backup battery. We couldn't see a thing.

Poor Keigan was looking for our hotel room and ran into a door. He wasn't really hurt, but it sounded like he hit it hard :(

Hey guys! So it's been a hectic time lately. First we had to get ready to move and say goodbye to everyone, then we get to Japan and all Hell breaks loose.

Keigan and I are just fine, we are on the far north end of the main island and our area had little damage and we're far away from the power plants having problems. We were without power for three days and are currently running on a generator in the hotel. Still trying to recover from this and finish moving in.

We'll probably head out next week to help clean up one of the nearby towns.

Going to keep posting, but the schedule will be weird since I've gone to a different time zone and all the stuff going on, but I'll keep you all updated n_n

Also, I did get my hair cut -points to picture-. I think it's cute n_n

Lack of updates due to getting ready to move! My husband and I finally got his orders and we'll be heading off to Japan soon! Been super busy packing and spending time with everyone before we leave.

Most artists I know like pens way too much. My friends Laura and Ria (pictured) and I will go to a store and spend most of our time looking at pens.

I don't know what it is, but we really like them.

Laura's also silly and does this noodle-arms thing a lot hehe.

Merlin is our special puppy. He always wants to chase toys and sometimes looks at Bekki with his "Throw it?" look. He is also very nervous and shivers and twitches a lot. But he's a sweetie and we love him <3

This was my exact reaction when Keigan gave me the good news. I got a lot of funny looks at work that day.
This happened back in November and we'll be getting ready to move within the next month or so.
The random coworker is no one in particular.
