Do your homework. We can't trust Obama or the Press

Right after Obama was elected he stated “ I've got four years and … A year from now, I think people are going to see that we’re starting to make some progress, but there’s still going to be some pain out there … If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.”

Now clearly Obama did indeed inherit a mess. This there is no doubt. There is however enough blame to go around. Did Bush make mistakes and screw some things up? Yes, but to lie and lay all the blame on Bush's shoulders is just cowardly and not the truth. Obama's lapdogs in the lame stream press have never stopped blaming everything on him. Are they just ignorant, incompetent journalists? Or are they just plain stupid. Do I think they are stupid? No, I don't think so. I believe they know exactly what they are doing. Most have spent a lot of time being educated and have all kinds of degree's. So I think a lot of them are just plain lazy and have a liberal agenda. You see they know from history that if you tell a huge lie and repeat over and over again you can brainwash the masses. This makes them dangerous. This is also not some new phenomenon. Thomas Jefferson said it best... As for what is not true, you will always find abundance in the newspapers. 1806

Now we all know what happened to the economy. It was like the perfect storm. Too much government spending leading to too much debt. The collapse of the banking institutions and the housing market. Bush was definitely guilty of grossly over spending. The major cause of the collapse however was the failure of the banks and housing markets. This Bush tried to warn us about. Several times. In fact 17 times in 2008 he warned and pleaded with congress to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This was as we know blocked every time by the socialists Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. These two mental midgets are the ones Barack Obama should be calling out if he was an honest person. Its really hard to use the word honest and Obama in the same sentence. The two are polar opposites. Oh yea and by the way this stoke of unbelievable stupidity started with Jimmy carter back in 1977. It was called a nice compassionate, "Community reinvestment act." Under Carter and Clinton they forced the banks to relax the standards of lending requirements to minorities, and low income individuals applying for home mortgage and small business loans. Regardless if they could afford the loans or not. What a stroke of genius.

So what does all this ranting boil down too? We have a dishonest anti constitution President and a lame excuse for a press corp. Now you definitely can't trust this President to get the truth. The press however does manage to squeeze bits of it in little drips and drabs. So you really have to dig around and do your own homework to get at the truth. Our founders tried to warn us of this, if we are ignorant and expect to remain free we're only fooling ourselves and insuring that the next generation will be less free than we are now. We are lucky though, unlike in Jefferson's day. We have a fantastic tool called the internet. We have a vast amount of information at our finger tips. Use it and put an end to ignorance.

For the life of me I just can't figure these ignorant left wing nuts out. You have the Mayors of 4 or 5 major cities telling Ckick Fil A that they won't allow that company in their cities. All because the founder of Chick Fil A doesn't believe in gay marriage. Yet the Mayor of Boston Tom Menino authorized giving a $2 million dollar piece of land to the Islamic Society of Boston for $150,000 to build a Mosque. The founder of ISB is Abdurahman Alamoudi. He is serving 23 years for being involved in the murder plot of a Saudi King and funneling money to Al Qaeda. Another ISB guy Yusuf Al Qardawi preaches that Jews should be killed, homosexuals should either be stoned or thrown off roofs, wives can be beaten, and Israel has to be destroyed. Where were these protesters when this was going on? How does Mayor Menino explain his obvious hypocrisy? The only thing more sickening than Mayor Menino is the idiots who voted him into office.

Then you have another colossal idiot Mayor Rahm Emanuel. He says Chick Fil A's values aren't Chicago's values. Even the very liberal LA Times said “Public officials have a responsibility to carry out their ministerial tasks fairly and evenhandedly – and to uphold the principle of free speech – whether or not they like a business executive’s social or political stances,” the Times opined. At least we learned one fact out of all this. The huge numbers of people who showed up in support of Chick Fil a didn't crap on any cars like the intellectually bankrupt Occupy Wall Street types. These people that showed their support were like the Tea Party. There were no fights, no broken windows, rapes, no clashes with the police. It definitely proved that the Tea Party Patriots and all the others who ate chicken that day are better people than the Marxist, union thugs that protested on Wall Street and Wisconsin.

Wow! When I first read this article about the ice cream truck ban on the azfamily.com's web site I thought I was imagining things. There is just no way anyone could be serious about fighting crime by banning ice cream trucks. That's as stupid as banning cars because you think that they are being used as a front for drunk driving. A lot of the other excuses that I read sounded equally pathetic.

Now I no why I have heard people call Scottsdale Snottsdale. Its because that town must have a few too many intellectually lazy snots with way too much free time on their hands. Now I'm sure it must be just a few elitist snobs who are well connected to come up with something so ridiculous. I'd hate to believe that a whole town could be full of tyrants trying to run everybody else's lives like that.

The real crime here is that a 17 year old who would like to become a entrepreneur has to learn how ignorant intellectual elitists in government are not the answer. They are the problem. Elitists just want to squash the entrepreneurial spirit of the individual. The good people of Scottsdale. The ones that are not elitist tyrants should ban together and demand from now on anyone wishing to be in the seat of power in that city pass a course on the constitution. If they fail, they don't even get on the ballot.

Thomas Sowell has a fantastic book titled " Intellectuals and Society". In it he proves just how destructive and tyrannical they can be. Everyone in Scottsdale should read it.

In it he writes how ~~Bitch~~... I mean Mitch McConnell says that we shouldn't expect a repeal of Obamacare. McConnell states that its to hard to undo something already done. Wow! You have got to be kidding me. It looks to me like once again we are about to be sold out.
First SCOTUS fails us and now the republican's lead by McConnell. Then at the same time we have people signing over our 2nd amendment rights to the UN.

Just about 170 years ago Tocqueville wrote about a form of despotism to watch out for. A huge government that wants to be your guardian and protector. He said that the government would resemble a paternal power. That they will provide for their happiness but wants to be the sole agent for that happiness. It will provide their security, facilitate their pleasures, conduct their affairs, direct their industries and regulate their estates. Sound familiar?

He goes on to show that the government will not be cruel, or harsh. It will however promote selfishness by catering to them. This of course will make the self governing individual useless and rare. This in turn creates a society ruled by elitist bureaucrats and experts. Such a power, Tocqueville says "does not destroy, it prevents things from being born; it does not tyrannize, it hinders, compromises, enervates, extinguishes, dazes, and finally reduces each nation to being nothing more than a herd of timid and industrious animals of which the government is the Shepherd." Tocqueville new, the shepherd cares for the defenseless sheep only to fleece them.

Our Founding Fathers tried to warn us just What would happen if the electorate became lazy. If we didn’t question with boldness just about everything politicians do. We have allowed our nation to turn itself into a mental cesspool. Thomas Jefferson tried to warn us when he stated…”If a nation expects to be ignorant and free. It expects what never was and never will be.” Well there you have it. All the adjectives I used in the first sentence to describe the republican party could also be used to describe the electorate. Jefferson must be ashamed of us and what we have done to this once great Republic. When Bobby Jindal said …“The problem is that the private sector is so foreign to our President that he would need a passport to go there and a translator to understand what is happening”. I think we could substitute the word President with We the people in that quote. Sorry for my being so negative today Eric but since the SCOTUS handed down that verdict today I feel like I’ve been sucker punched
