Finally I know how it feels to watch a concert. Katy Perry's concert is me and my hubby first concert and we were having so much fun. Everything was perfect!! She's so beautiful, the performance is awesome, and the stage is super gorgeous!! Here are some pictures that I took from the concert :)

Katy Perry opened the concert with "Teenage Dreams". She rocks the stage!!

I really love when she sang "The One That Got Away" in acoustic.

She blew the audience away when she sang "Hot 'n Cold" because she changed her clothes 8times on the stage!! can you imagine that?? I just can woowww

Grand Opening House Of RiaMiranda

Today, I came to the grand opening House of RiaMiranda. I'm sure most of you already know her. She's a talented fashion designer. As her friend, I'm happy for her. Because I know having her own boutique is one of her dream. Congratulations uni!! (we used to call Ria with uni).

Beside the grand opening, Ria also soft launched her book, titled "Inspiration by Ria Miranda". It will be launch on January 25th and I can't wait to have one ;) And, you might already know who's on the cover of the book. Yuup, she is Tia, my friends from Hijabers Community :D. She look gorgeous on the cover, isn't she?

And here is me with the gorgeous fashion designer. She looks like a barbie!!

I'm proud of her and of course happy for she had accomplished. Really hope that one day I can have my own boutique too. She's such an inspiration to all muslimah :)

The animal prints story is not over yet. I still have some pictures that I want to share. hehe. The meet up is quite special because nadya, one of us, will be getting married 3 days after the meet up. yuuupp,,now she is sombody's wife and on honeymoon. hehe. At first, we didn't know whether nadya could ccome or not because there are several things that she has to deal with related to her wedding.

This is our pictures when nadya not came yet. Mulky, Fitri's husband, took the pictures. And I remembered there is a woman who said "will have a show?". With all the animal prints shawl, I'm sure there are several people who stared strangely at us, especially when we did some crazy pose. hahaha

We're happy that when we have lunch, nadya told us that she's on her way to PIM and can have a quick meet up with us. Yayy,, finally all of us can meet!! And, since almost all of us already married since 2010 (except siti that we hope can get married this year..hehe), we teach some 'lesson' to nadya, especially related to the 'first night'. One of us (I won't mention the name :p) even brought Arabic Kamasutra book. haha *Don't think dirty, because the book mostly fill with hadists and religious thought about what you&your husband/wife should do. No porn pictures at all. It totally a learning book*

Since nadya didn't bring the animal prints shawl, Suci borrowed it for her. Actually, the shawl that siti wore is also Suci's. Yuupp,,among us, maybe suci is the person who love animal prints the most. you can see that beside the animal prints shawl, she also wear dalmation motif top. And she still look great with that!!

And this black team versus pink team!! Of course I'm in pink team. haha

Actually I'm not a fans of animal prints. I only have a few of animal prints stuffs in my closet. So, when my girls said we have to wear animal prints in our meet up I remembered that I have a chiffon silk shawl from nabilia. That's one of a few animal prints that I like because it doesn't give bold effects, it still give a lovely effect. It has butterfly and in pink colors!! ;)

2012 Expression

This is my first post in 2012. I had fun in 2011 and hope this year will be much better than last year. In 2010 I got married with the best man that I ever met, in 2011 I launched my line collaborated with my sister, and what's in 2012? Just wait and see ;)

In January 5th, I met my girls and had a nice chit chat. This is our face expression captured by suci's ipod. Honestly I'm not good in face expression. You can see it in the pictures below. hahaha.

If you notice all of us wear animal print shawl, except romiy who wear it as a scarf. Do wait more photos of the meet up, especially from siti and fitri because they are who brought the camera :)

Here it is the long awaited hijab tutorial. hehe. I've been used this style of hijab several times and many of you (my lovely readers) ask how to wear a shawl like that. So, finally I have time to make the tutorial.

Actually it's very simple to make. I just show you the basic way to wear it. But then you can style it by your self. Because different material of shawl or different length can result in different way.

Why I named it "All Covered" because with this style you can covered you chest and also your back :)

It's so rare that I posted almost 4 posts in a week. These days I'm in the mood of blogging and fortunately there are some photos and stories that I wanna share. Hope you'll not get bored with this 'narcist' blog. Actually the reason why I posted my pictures in this blog just because I like to do it and wanna share some ideas and maybe inspirations for you, because I got so many inspirations from other blogs.

This time I wanna share some inspirations *hopefully it can inspired you* for wedding outfit. On December 4th, my cousin held his wedding ceremony and reception. For the ceremony me and my family decided to wear purple theme. And in the reception me and my sisters got green uniform because we were some of the bridemaids.

Let's share about the purple theme first. I decided to wear stella top from nabilia and mixed it with my skirt that I wore in my wedding ceremony a year ago. Alhamdulillah it still fit on me although it became to tight :p

Now is the green time. Honestly, I am so not into green. So, when I got the material I got confused on what should I make. I decided to make a dress combine with chiffon but the result is not like what I expected. I think I didn't choose the right color combination (I don't have time to buy another color, so I just take the material that I prepared for nabilia collections :p) and the tailor also make some mistake. But, whatever happens the wedding must goes on and it needs the bride maids. haha

A Year Of Happiness

As you may already know, me and my husband just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary on December 10th. All I can say is I feel blessed to have a great husband like him and couldn't ask for more :'). Since the first time I met him (almost 10 years ago) I just knew that we will have a great family one day. And thank to ALLAH SWT, it's been a year since I became Mrs. Delonika Yuki Eka Putra.

Eight Minus Four

Last friday is the 2nd meet up of "blogger married". It's not a "geng" or something like that. But, we have some similarities and will working together in a project *still a secret, do wait for it ;)*. There are 8 persons who will collaborated on the secret project. They are me, suci, kara, romiy, ola, fitri, and siti plus nadya who are not married yet actually. But, in the second meet up, there are only half of us who can join. Siti and Fitri was busy with their job&deadline, ola was sick due to her pregnancy, and nadya was in Malaysia. So, here are some pictures from our meet up :)

We plan to meet at 2 P.M, but kara and romiy were super late and they came at 3.30 P.M. While waiting kara and romiy, suci and I ate at sanpachi and had a little chit chat. After kara and romiy arrived, we decided to ate at Burger King and discuss about our secret project and of course took come pictures. Since, siti can't join this meet up, our pictures quality became so standard. hahaha. Siti is the best if we talk about editing and photography :D

Okay, untuk penggemar Katy Perry pasti udah tau kan kalau 19 Januari 2012 dia bakal ngadain konser di Indonesia, tepatnya di SICC Sentul. Daannn, dengan 'perjuangan' nongkrong di depan laptop berjam-jam untuk beli tiketnya online, gw dan suami pun berhasil dapat 1 tiket kuning dari tiku online. Saat itu kita putusin langsung beli aja dan berharap bisa dapat 1 tiket lagi, tapi ternyata ga dapat :'(. Berhubung ga mungkin cuma nonton konser sendiri, gw dan suami pun memutuskan untuk melelang 1 tiket yang kita punya lewat blog ini. Sambil berharap bisa beli 2 tiket baru. hehe.

Kalau lihat di web resminya, harga 1 tiket kuning Rp 1.250.000. Tapi sekarang penjualan online udah sold out dan kalau dicalo harga rata-rata yang ditawarkan 1,8-2 juta untuk 1 tiket kuning. Untuk lelang kali ini gw buka harga awal Rp 1.350.000. Dan jika ingin berpartisipasi dalam lelang ini harus kelipatan 50ribu, jadi kalau ada yang lelang 1,4 juta, orang berikutnya harus lelang 1,45juta, dan seterusnya. Lelang ini akan dibuka selama 1 minggu, sampai Kamis, 15 Desember 2010, pukul 23.59 WIB.

On November 12th, my husband's brother or I can say my brother in law, zoni, was getting married. Actually me and Zoni was classmate in high school when we were in 3rd grade. Zoni married to his classmate, Devi, in 1st&2nd grade of high school. So, all of us were from same high school and the same year. hehe

Actually in real life she is not wearing hijab yet, she's still learning and convince herself to wear it permanently. For now, if it's nabilia related events, she puts on her hijab. As usual, looking at my picture folder, I found these pictures that I haven't share in this blog. *yes yes yes, there are a lot of pictures that I plan to share in this blog but then I forgot*. These pictures was taken on June when grand opening Moshaict Boutique and mosbazar.

Let me share a little 'secret' between me and Moshaict. At the time the pictures was taken, I was the marketing of Moshaict and handle their twitter and blog for a couple month. It wasn't easy to handle moshaict twitter because people use to ask the same question again and again, although they actually can find the answer at the previous tweet or at bio twitter or mayble at blog. haha. And not so many people know I'm the person behind moshaict's admin. But, since this November I'm no longer handle moshaict twitter&blog because I want to focus more on my label, nabilia, and moshaict is growing fast so I think they need a professional one to handle it. So, you can say that I'm resign from moshaict as an employee but I became one of the tenant there. hehe

Not A Usual Meet Up

After, siti, kara, suci, and ola blogged about the married-blogger meet up, I guess now is my turn!! Most of them wrote the story in Bahasa, but I try to write about it in English like I always did in my blog. Because, one of the reason I made this blog is to improve my writing skills in English. hahaha.

As you may already know, me and 6 other girls met at PIM last wednesday. Actually, at first, it's only me, kara, ola, suci, and fitri who plan to meet. Because five of us are blogger and we were married at 2010 and don't have a child yet (except Ola who is 9 weeks pregnant now, the rest of us is still waiting for the 'preggy things' come to our little family). But then, romiy who hasn't have blog yet and siti who hasn't married yet joined us. It was really fun meet up!! we talked a lot about many things, especially married life for the newly wed like us. And of course we took a lot of pictures!! thanks to siti who bring the camera always captured the moments :*

Romiy was late because she had something to do first. So we did the photobox without romiy. It's been such a long long time since I had my last photobox.

Full team!! anw, romiy is working on her new blog and hopefully siti will get married soon!! :D

Most of the girls are HC committee so I meet them quite often and already know the well because they are like family for me. here are a quick testimony about them :)

OLA. I know her from her wedding blog and we have the same vendor. We also share a lot about our new label. Before they are launch, we already discussed about them. And she is the one who make me sure to launch nabilia. Yupp, I plan to have my own label for such a long time, but Ola can make her plan to reality in quite a short time. She dare to take the risk. I learn a lot from this preggie woman ;)

KARA. I first met her at Urban Kitchen breakfasting. but at that time all I remember that she and romiy are a twin. because they wore a similar outfit. haha. And later, I just found out that kara is my junior at college. And one thing for sure, kara is a great stalker!! So, watch out girls. hahahaha

SITI. I'm one of Siti big fans!! yes, I do!! I really love her blog and so flattered when she came to my wedding. Yes, I first met her at my wedding. She is such a creative person. No doubt about it. Always love her artworks. And she is so photogenic!! Siti is a little person that I know did a great job both in front of and in back of camera. I think the camera just loves her!!

FITRI. Maybe just a little person know how fitri looks without a hijab. haha. I already know her since junior high school. I'm her senior from junior high school and senior high school. Actually we entered the same college too, but different major. All I can say is she change a lot and it's so positive!! I also learned a lot from her, especially about how to look more syar'i in hijab.

ROMIY. she is such a kindhearted person. I think a lot of people can fall in love with her personality in the first meet. She is always smile and as I remembered I never see romiy get angry with anyone.

And the last girl is SUCI. Suci is a new friend to me. Before this meet up, I already met her at HC's launching on march, but we didn't talk much at that time. We talk much via bbm and twitter. And, I am one of her blog fans. She is the one who inspired me making a hijab tutorial video and I learn about how to cook from her too. hehe. She is really nice in person. And she got a lot of expression in front of camera. From all the girls, I think I am the one who can't do that crazy face. I just think it doesn't fit me at all. haha.

If you read Siti's blogpost, you may wondering what is the similarity of the pictures that siti posted. So, let me give you the answer. hahaha

Both of kara and romiy wear orange color.

There are pink accents in all of our outfit. Suci and me in our shawls. Siti and Ola in the cardigans.

I think this is the most difficult to guess. anyone can guess what the similarity?? the answer is all of us wear plain clothes, you can't find any motifs or pattern is our clothes. haha

Sisterhood feat Cousin

Tree Meet Bellatrix

Heyy..today is a national blogger day in Indonesia and luckily I had time to make a blog post today. I made this blog on 2009 and didn't think that I still update this blog until today. What I can say is I really love blogging!! I know sometimes, I didn't update this blog for a while, but I always try to update this blog whenever I can. One thing that I got from blogging and it is so precious is I met a lot of new friends from this blog. Really excited!!

From Head To (almost) Toe

Last Friday, I restocked some of nabilia's product to moshaict. And I decided to wear nabilia from head to (almost) toe. I said almost, because my shoes are not from nabilia. hehe.

I didn't bring any camera, so the photos just taken by my blackberry with a so-so quality.

The dress is me and my sister new design for nabilia. I know that nowadays there are a lot of 'wing dress'. I also made one kind of it, but I add a pocket in the wing. I realized that there is no 'pure' idea, all of the idea must be inspired by others. The most important thing is how you can modified it into a new and different design.

Keep It Simple

Looking at my pictures folder in my notebook and find out that these pics not published yet. hehe. So, I decided to give a little touch of editing and share them in my blog.

Sometimes, all you have to do is wear your most comfy outfit and don't bother whether you look fashionable or not. I really feel comfortable with my outfit. Wide leg pants plus long tee are best match for daily wear. Super duper comfy!! especially when you paired the with crocs flats and cotton shawl. hehehe

What I made to the shawl is also so simpel. I just make a knot near my ear and add a brooch ;)

Hmmm, I just want to share a little thought about using other pictures without permissions. Maybe some of you wondering why i didn't put any watermark to my pictures. Actually I want to do that but sometimes I just to lazy to do that. haha. *and I don't have a logo for "sweet escape" yet. Anyone want to make one for me? hahahaha*

Anyway, I know that some photos that I uploaded in this blog has been used by some online shop to sell their stuffs, eventough I didn't buy any stuff from them. I think that's so inappropriate. But, what can I say? maybe that's the way they get some money. Actually, I think every pictures that you share in the internet that will belongs to public. Even if you put a watermark (sometimes a big one), people can still use you picture. But, of course a good people will ask for permission first or at least share the link where they get the picture and not just say that they got the pictures from google.

What do you think about that? Does watermark matters?

I'm sure most of you already knew Suci from Last Minute Girl, the founder of Such by Suchi. Suci is really such an inspiration. Actually I decided to make a hijab tutorial video is also because of her hijab tutorial video which is very inspiring :). And she's very kind to make me such a lovely sketch!! I love it very much!!

Anyway, I got a lovely comment from a reader, Dewi Utari, that telling me to delete all the blog post which I haven't wear my hijab yet because I'm fully covered now. And I think she's right. So, start from today, I revert all the old post of me not wearing hijab to draft *yes,,I'm not delete it because there are some post that remind me of great memories*. Thank you so much Dewi for reminding me :)

It's tutorial time again. Hope you don't bored with this kind of post :p. In this video there are 3 style of hijab that inspired by Ina Rovi's style. Ina Rovi is an Indonesian singer, that's why I use her song titled Pelangi Hati as the backsound of this hijab tutorial video :).

Anw, the second style of the tutorial is like these two photo. Actually I accidentally found that style after being a model for make up class by wardah at Hijab&Make Up Class by Hijabers Community. What surprised me is after the class is over, some of the participants asked me how to wear a shawl like me. That's why I decided to make this tutorial video ;)

It's so NOT me!! my face looks like a doll in the pic. haha

The photo is taken right after the make up class by wardah. I love the result :)
