Hopefully I can get up there to another game soon. Has anyone else ever been to this stadium? Stare at the dot in the center of the pyramid, and eventually it will switch over to a black & white image of the same thing. The cool part is that when it changes at first, you should see the pyramids in color, when they are actually in black & white!

I learned about this concept in my Geography 416A class yesterday when we were watching a video on how vision is not just seeing one color or another, but is actually the mind constantly learning about new perceptions of hue, brightness, darkness, etc. In this picture, you "learn" that the pyramid picture is in color, so when presented with the same exact shape or pattern but black and white, your eyes initially interpret it in color. Cool huh!?

Back at it!

Well its been a few years since I've touched any of my blogs, but after getting sucked into facebook, myspace, and twitter during that time, I feel that I should consolidate my efforts back into blogging. Still finishing up my studies at the University of Arizona, I'm pulling the 5-year plan as I've finally figured out what I want to do. When I'm not busy with school, work, my girlfriend, friends, family, and my pets (aka "The Barnyard" as we call them), I am going to start writing in my blogs again. I think this is enough of a re-introduction as you're probably dozing off already like my 1 year old pup Jasmine (picture on the left). More pictures to come very soon!

2008 Dodge Challenger Pics

Man am I pumped for this car to come out. I do drive a Camaro as I've shown you before, but this car is going to smack around anything I've ever driven. The concept car has been announced to have a 450 Hemi V8 in it with 400+lbs. of torque. Finally they are going to bring some real power to Dodge without a high price tag (announced to be between $25-30,000). Compared to the Viper, thats a steal! Here's some pre-release pics:

Crazy Flippin' Cat

This is a picture my brother just sent of my his new cat. If you live in Arizona, you know what monsoon rains can be like: inability to see, instant floods, sliding all over the road. While going through this crazy experience, I had a thought pop into my head about making a photo blog. I have been looking for a fun topic to blog about for a while, and have not put my very nice digital camera to use for some time, so I figured what the heck, I'll start taking some pictures and writing about them. I picked up some batteries at Albertson's (A 24 pack of AA's to be precise), practically skated home through the rain, and got my camera ready.

I plan to take pictures of things that I find interesting about my day, about where I live (Tucson, AZ), or anything that just may seem like a good photo opportunity. In my second post, I am going to put up some pictures of how it looks outside today so those of you who don't know much about monsoons can get a good perspective. Enjoy the blog!
