I am so sick of uni work.. At the end of week 10 already and two more weeks till two final assignments due. And then exams. God.... I HATE THESE PERIODS! Always. In slightly over a month and I'll be home. My price to look forward to at the end of this! Malaysia here I come soooooon babeh!

Long assignments calls for a timeout. Still could afford timeouts cause there is still about two weeks left on the clock.
I have always and constantly been saying on how utterly messy my room always is. So this time, when I finally got things organised and cleaned up quite decently, it calls for a photo tour of the "neat" room :D *Now, it is currently at 30% of messiness already. Mainly with a pile of worn once only clothes on my bed :P HEHE*

The photos were taken about almost a week back. Most of the photos. A few from the beauty section were taken just a day or two ago :)

My laundry basket and shoe boxes aisle. I do have a fair bit of shoes(hehe) because in the checkered box there are also shoes and this is not the only shoes area XD

On the table is my fairies and angels figurines ((: And it is also a table with a pile of old notes and uni related materials and also some junk. But junk that are arranged nicely and untouched most of the time.

Bags all the way! Some bags and belts are hung behind the door.

Surrounded by lots of pictures of familiar faces, the love ones back home. Makes me feel as tho I am still home in Malaysia surrounded by all the memories.

And definitely have to have the boyfie nearby as well. Also, you could see his graduation studio photo at the back :)

A random aboriginal art that was already hung in the room wayyy before I got here. And now it is used as a frame for souvenirs and memories collected over the years. To some, it may be junk. But to me, they are valuable memoirs.

On to the closet...

The coats and shoes and hats half. Shoes in the bottom right till the left in the inside and fedoras and beanies on the top. There are still some compartments on the left that are just normal storage stuff. HEHE these are my jackets and coats and dresses(they are hung together with the coats, to save on hanger usage) :DD

Knitted wear on the top and tshirts/singlets/pajamas/jeans/undergarments on the bottom. The left door is covering the jeans pileS and the sock drawers and on the right in the inside is the undergarments in a box.

The top compartment is the skirts and shorts pile. Left is the skirts and right is the shorts :) Bottom compartment is knitted overcoats and long skirts on the left and pajamas tops on the right.

My accessories and beauty section!

All my precious and beloved accessories! :DDDDD Must be worth a fortune :P A whole drawer filled with arm candies and hair accessories. Three stands of earrings and necklaces and still not enough. Boxes needed for watches, rings and other non hangable stuff in the very antique-y small wooden trunk box. And then there is the square box of statement necklaces and the round thomas sabo box with of course my favourite Thomas Sabo bracelet and my swarovski earrings. Actually I do have another egg sized box that has some sterling silver items in it but I left that in Malaysia.

My beauty section! Makeup, hair products, body lotion, nail stuff, creams, facial wipes and cosmetic bags.

Look at my nail polishes! Arranged nicely in the continuous colour shades :D So preeeettyy! The Sally Hansen stick on leopard print is new and I can't wait to try them! It's hiding, I hope you know which one I mean. If not maybe you can see it clearer in the last picture HEHE

My lip products. L-R, Red earth lip gloss, Rimmel lipstick, Revlon lipstick, Maybeline lip balm, Sasa double end lip gloss, Stila lip gloss, Revlon balm stick, Shu Uemura lip gloss and Stila lipstick. I do see this expanding in the future tho! HEHE

The mascaras on the left and the eyeliners laid horizontally! Except the first one which is a concealer.

I am an eyeliner junkie. I have all the different types! Maybe because eyeliner was the first makeup item that I got into(lip glosses don't count) sooo I have been always buying and trying different kinds of eye liners.

The middle area are mostly eye shadow palettes, bronzers, blushers, falsies and on the right is the makeup removers(one oiled base and one is not), hand creams, primer, foundation and eye mask. The butterfly one is a whole package of eye shadow, lipstick and blusher. Mum bought it from Europe and the brand is Pupa.

It looks like I have lots at the beauty section and as many of you should know, I hardly put on makeup before so why the hell do I have so much? HEHE Some were presents and some are really really old that I feel sad to throw them away and some were newly bought.

And recently, I have been quite into buying makeup stuff simply because I think it is about time that I venture into them. Although I don't like to have any on whenever I go to uni but I am sure to use them whenever I go out or something. I will use them!! Promiseeee :))))

Love all of the items I have! All my eye shadow palettes are awesome! ok...maybe except the cheapo $2 Rimmel one. Both of my The Balm ones are great! The Naked Palette 2 is obviously amazing and the Maybeline neutral palette(on the falsies) is handy too. There is words like base and lid and crease written on each colour. To tell you which to use on where. Handy!

And I love my blushers! The Stila and the Body Shop ones :D The bronzer from Rimmel is new soo I haven't really been using them as much.

As I said, I think my lip products will be expanding more in the near future. I have already been eyeing on some Rimmel lipsticks because they are now on 50% which means they are only $6!! And also I bought another Revlon balm stick which is on its way in the mail and and I have been looking at some 3CE brand stuff. It is a korean brand. Still in the process of looking. Not definite yet..

But there is one definite thing tho, I am waiting on another Urban Decay Naked series item in the mail! HEHEHEHE It costs me $30 so it better be good! Can't wait for that!! :DDDD

As you can see I am mainly raving on the beauty section because I just newly created that section up. I had a convertible laptop table lying under my bed collecting dust and I thought hey why not put it under the accessories table and put my makeup there? And then the section happened. And I loveeeeee it! It looks organize and neat and easy to look for stuffs. Unless I keep expanding it and then it would get chaotic and messy. For the time being that will have to do.

So there you have it. The photo tour of my room! :DDD I love this space of mine. Added things here and there to add my own spin to it and made it MY room.

These two pictures, photo1 and photo2 is how the room used to be when I first got here. It had nothing. Nothing but the bed and the side table which is my accessories table. Because it used to be a guest room. And because it used to have nothing, it used to be a lot more spacious than it is now. Now, I have all of my junk in it. Feels crampy already.. heh And also, I found this picture, that's how little my accessories used to be. Only one not fully filled stand. Look at what it blossomed into right now :P HEHE

Found this old post, that was how my room used to be when I just got the study table. So empty as compare to now. Less junks then and definitely grew on my bags collection from then till now. And even saying that, I still have three more bags waiting for me in Malaysia. The new ones mum bought for me from the US :DDD HEHEHE

I guess over the years, I add more of myself into this space of mine everyday. It is my home. The years have flew by and I have moulded myself perfectly in here already.

Till the next update! Which is likely to be soon cause the boyfriend isn't here which means ill be home most of the time and will be free for updates. That's if I do have an update haha :) Byee peeps!

A Place For My Head.

Hellos.

The weekend update. To me, the only significant thing happened is that the boyfriend went back to Malaysia ): Not having him around for 5 weeks is not something I am looking forward to. I have been so attached to him since like ever and am so used to seeing him for at least 3 days a week, and now not able to have him around me for that long is not very fun.... Especially during the down times of exams, he isn't here to hold me and to tell me that things will be fine..))):

I am already missing you so much Bii!

See you in Malaysia in 5 weeks...! Thank god I'll still be able to spend a couple of days with him in Malaysia first before he heads back here to Melbourne. Spending time in Malaysia with him is always nice because that's when I feel we really go out on really nice dates because I will be chauffeur driven by him(or at least sitting very comfortably in a car don't matter who is driving) instead of us commuting in buses and trains. HEHE :P And because of that, I can't wait to go back!

I'll be heading back to Malaysia at the end of June for almost 6 and a half weeks leh!! Going home to the awesome family and the food and also going back to the boyfriend's arms for a week! And then we will do this "LDR" thing for another 5 weeks plus again.. hrrrrr...

Anyhoos, back to the things I did over the weekend.

Thursday,

Had classes and decided to walk down to the train station instead of taking the bus because the weather seemed lovely. It was a tad bit on the hotter side of autumn weather but it was still a nice walk (:

Someone had "4ever Love" written in the sky. I only managed to shoot the earlier part of it. Because later on when it was complete, I was too far away from it to get a good shot.

Commuted to uni for a two hour lab and then I went to the boyfriend's. Did the usual,

Cooked dinner. Curry chicken and stir fried veggies.

And then runningman and movies and stuffs.

Friday,

Went down to the city for brunch with the boyfie ((: And I also asked Celine to join us. She is free on Fridays and the bf hasn't seen her in ages so it was time for a catching up for the both of them. HAHA!

We went to Proud Mary.

Ordered a Soy Chai Latte with Honey for myself.

And a House Smoked Salmon that has potato hash with chilli and mint, avocados, a poached egg and horseradish hollandaise sauce. It was quite yum! (:

The boyfie ordered their Potato Hash with bacon, spinach and a poached egg.

Celine ordered the Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich.

Overall, the food was pretty good! :D

After brunch we went for a short short makeup window shopping and then we parted ways with celine. Then, the both of us went to Vic Market to get some stuff for the bf's mum. After that, we headed back to clayton.

Saturday,

Helped the boyfie to pack his things and also helped out with clearing up his room and stuff and also double cross checking on the important stuff that he needs. Then eating up all the remaining leftover food in the fridge which totally filled the both of us up. As usual, eating means eating while we watch runningman or something. hehehe we are one of those cute couple ((: YES, I do think we do some cute and silly things almost all the time HEHE :D

Then about 4pm or so, we left back to my place. Because aunty D was going to fetch the bf to the airport the next morning, so he came over to my place for the night.

Aunty D took the two of us out to dinner @ Hyakumi on Keilor Road.

It is quite an authentic little place that we just randomly stumbled on.

And order some Japanese green tea with roasted rice to start off.

Me and the boyfriend shared their House Special. It was $48. And we didn't expect it to look like this at all! Kudos to the presentation! So cool right! The boat was hugee!

Basically it is assorted sushis and sashimis. There is even two fresh oysters. But.. I hate fresh oysters sooo the bf was the one that forcefully swallowed them. It was his first time trying but he hates it too. HAHA!

My first ever fancy sushi/sashimi eating in Melbourne! And I loved it! Japanese food is my ultimately most favourite food! Even the boyfriend loved it!! I am still very proud that I managed to influence him to eat so much raw japanese food. He used to hate them and now he craves for them! HEHE so happy! :DDD

Dinner was really nice. Loved it! And not too expensive lo.. Aunty D enjoyed her seafood bento as well. It was an average of $25 per person for the meal that night. Thank you for dinner aunty D! :)

After dinner we got home and just lazed around a little bit. Spent sometime just talking about nothing in particular with the boyfie and also made sure his luggage wasn't overweight. And then he totally crashed in bed before 11pm. I was still up with blogs hopping and an episode of White Collar.

Yesterday,

We were up early at 5am. His flight was at 930am soo we had to do the web check-in and also some last minute add ins or whatever. But ended up we lazed on bed totally not wanting to wake up. And lazed till about 630am only we got out of bed. Haha!

About 730am, we left out to the airport. And there it was. My last hug and kiss with the boyfriend for the next 5 weeks ))):

After that, we went home to change cause me and aunty D suddenly decided to go out for breakfast. And when I opened my room door, it felt empty. I could still picture the boyfriend sitting on my bed using my laptop and looking up at me when I open the room door(it was the memory of the night before). I would usually call out "bii, bao bao" and he will open up his arms for me to hug him or he would just stand up and hug me.. me misses him.. =/

Back to the breakfast plan.., me and aunty D went out to random cafe, PellaGreco on Puckle street @ Moonee Ponds.

Breakkie was just normal. Nothing spectacular. It was just to fill up the tummy. But for the price, it was pretty decent (:

After breakfast, I went shopping with aunty D @ DFO Essendon. And all I bought were two ralph lauren polos for qihong. After DFO, we went to Highpoint.

And I bought mum's mothers day and birthday gift!

Specially chose the mother and daughter charm to represent us two and added the rounded blossom charm to make it look prettier and not so plain. SO GLAD MUM LOVES IT!!! (((: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MUMMY DEAREST! My mum is my heroine, the strongest woman I have ever known and the ever most loving and caring. I love her too much!

Basically the whole of yesterday, I just went shopping with aunty D till 5pm ish. And then came back home for dinner cause Julian was going to cook a Mothers Day meal for aunty D.

I have been missing out on spending mum's birthday and mothers day with her for 3 years already. I hope I still made her feel as loved as ever :)

Today,

This morning before I left for classes, some stuffs came in the mail!

Whee my new Meet Matte eye shadow palette from The Balm. Matte eyeshadows are love! And also the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain stick in the colour Sweetheart/Valentine(the same colour as the pink picture I had in the last post. I had them on my lips!) I love this balm stain stick!! The last SO LONG!! And they have a range of gorgeous colours! I love it so much until I bought another orange one :P

Then I went to classes happily :) And only for a two hour Italian lecture. And came home straight after that. The weather today was sunny and then gloomy and then it rained and hailed and then it became cold. Melbourne's crazy temperamental weather eh?

Now, I gotta go read up on a project I gotta start doing tomorrow. And then maybe squeeze in some series? The start of white collar season 3 maybe? HEHE

Hellos!!

HEHE as usual, I don't stick to what I say on when I'll blog :P

Anyhoos, this is suppose to be the routined weekly post. I'll pick up from where I left (: About a week and a half ago. Mostly about the weekends cause weekdays I do nothing but go to uni or hibernate at home with work or series. Fridays is the weekends HEHE :DD

Friday 26th of April,

I don't have classes on fridays and the boyfriend needed to settle some stuff with the immigration department. So, I met him in the city for lunch first before we headed to the immi department.

Lunch was @ Menya. The boy doesn't like menya but I was craving for good ox tongue and the best and reasonable priced Gyu Tan Don in Melbourne is from Menya. Soo... He has no say cause "I wanted it" and thank god he loved the gyu tan don! He has a thing for ox tongue just like I do cause it was me who trained him into liking it :P

The both of us ordered their Gyu Tan Don. OMGGGGG SO GOOD! Cravings totally fixed!! It was superbly good!

And also a Takoyaki to share :)

Then went over to the immi department and sat there for almost an hour and a half to wait for his turn. So slow lo...

Was completely moodless from all the waiting soooo we went to Chaddy after that cause I wanted to check if the dress I have been eyeing on is still there. But sadly, no. ))): It wasn't cheap but I really loved it and because it was quite expensive, I didn't get it the first and the second time I saw it. And now it goneeeeee )):

After that, we went back to his place,

and I cooked mee hoon for dinner.

Saturday 27th of April,

Sleeping, watching series and eat. Dominos pizza for dinner! The usual on Saturdays because there is a cheap deal that runs on saturdays.

Sunday 28th of April,

I went down to the city alone to meet up with Wei Ping. She was gonna head back to Malaysia for good on the following Tuesday which was in two days, at that time. So of course I HAD to meet up with her for the last time lah right..!

We went for lunch @ Oriental Spoon. Korean has always been her go to cuisine haha!

Those three dishes filled us up completely man! Didn't expect it to be so huge! But it tasted okay only lah.. Nothing very spectacular. I reckon Oriental Spoon is only good for their sweet chilli chicken. And lunch was expensive man. Cost us $25 each!

After lunch all we did was just walk around the city for some shopping. She has quite a couple of things to buy first before she heads home. I bought nothing. My duty for the day is just to teman her to get her stuffs (:

About 4 something I parted ways with her. Cause I made plans to meet up with Cherly and we were done with the shopping already anyways. So yeah...

My beloved Wei Ping! I am still sad that she isn't in Melbourne anymore already... ):

I then hopped onto the train and bus to Chaddy and had tea break with Cherly at Papparich. A short catch up cause I haven't seen her in like ages and also tapaoed dinner from Papparich for me and the bf. Then for the first time ever, Cherly drove me back to her place HAHA! Finally gotten around to visiting her new place and then she fetched me back to the boyfriend's.

Friday 3rd of May,

I made plans to meet up with Celine for lunch. The last time I met up with her properly was before I went back for the holidays last year leh! It's been too long..

Lunch was @ Earl Canteen.

After earl canteen, we moved onto Cacao Green for dessert.

My mango and original froyo with cheesecake bits! OMG SO GOOD! I haven't had it in such a long long time!!

Basically it was just a catching up session day. On whatever that happened between those 5 months and whatever that is happening. haha!

The weather looked pretty bad so around 3 something we both left for home. I was back to the bf's by 5 pm.

Sunday 5th of May,

Went out for Iron Man 3 movie date with the boyfriend at Glen Waverley around two something. Been wanting to watch it since a week ago!

I enjoyed it! :) Robert Downey Jr is soo SO SEXY! He ages well man... Iron Man has always been my favourite amongst the Marvel heroes.

And then had early dinner @ Grand Tofu.

I ordered the Yong Tau Fu curry noodles! Been ages since I had yong tau fu and this was the best you can get around here already. It was pretty good lah but the curry soup could be improved.

Spent the night with runningman and cuddles :))) Have to cause.. I am not going to be getting any of it soon already.

Yesterday,

No classes for the day cause my lab only runs every two week once. So yeah I was home and was watching White Collar the whole time. I just picked it up cause I found out Hilarie Burton was acting in it and I have been missing her so much since One Tree Hill cause I loveeeee her! And turns out, the show is pretty good leh! And Matt Bomer is quite hot XD

She doesn't appear till about mid of season 2 but that is also on and off. I think later on she will be a regular cast in the show.

And tomorrow, I'll be off to the boyfriend's. Cause... He is going back to Malaysia this Sunday for 6 weeks )): I don't want him to go back leh.... Especially me being here alone and it'll be exam period soon ): But oh wells, no choice. At least, I'll be spending a week in Malaysia with him first before he comes back to Melbourne for his Masters.

Yes, I bought my ticket home already! And I am going back for about 6 and a half weeks. Wheeee!

Bendigo Day Trip.

Hey y'all!

I have been saying and saying that I'll blog about the Bendigo trip soon but never gotten around to doing it. It happened 3 weeks ago already! Sorry peeps! The past week was because I had a test on Thursday and just simply didn't have the time to sit down and write down a post. HEHE procrastination at it's best!

Sooo.... the day trip with Wei Ping that happened 3 weeks ago, on the 12th of April (:

It was almost a two hour drive and I was just the passenger cause ping did all the driving. I have never driven in Australia and wasn't planning on to cause they have some weird ass rules on the road and the car was rented. It is best if I don't have my first driving experience here on a rented car because IF anything happens, it would cost a whole bomb to pay back plus ping didn't buy the insurance. And she is a very experienced driver here already lo.... She has driven like everywhere for road trips. So I didn't have to worry!

She came to pick me up from my place and then we went for brekkie at maccas and then started the journey at about 10 ish? And reached at slightly before 12pm. First stop was to the tourist information centre to gather up information on where to go and how much and also to get a map.

Then off we went to the gold mine. My last experience with a gold mine was Ballarat when I was like eight? Plus this is a different kind of experience because we will be going underground to see how they used to do it and stuff so I was quite excited!

Signed ourselves up for the 1230pm tour and it takes about 75 minutes or so to complete the tour. Drove to the mine which was just a five minutes drive away from the visitor centre.

Took a lift down to level 2 which was 61 metres underground. And then we had to gear up with hats and a light and a battery tied to your waist.

Which made us look like this :D The thick orange belt is actually the battery pack which was hanging at the back. Quite heavy one lo..

The mine underground. It was cold and seriously pitch black if we don't have the lights on. Our tour guide got us all to off our lights for us to see how dark it was and it was DARKKKK!

Overall the mine tour was educating (: Knowing how the life is underground of those mine workers and how things work and stuff. Pretty interesting. At least now I could say I've been underground in a gold mine haha!

Us acting as tho we are panning for gold after the tour. It is open to anyone who wants to pan but we couldn't be bothered. Both of us have done it before in Ballarat already.

The mine is also the starting point of the old tram tour around the Bendigo town hence the old tram out on display for picture taking. We didn't want to pay $14 for the tour because it is the same as the FREE city circle tram we have in the Melbourne CBD just that the only difference was this one, the tram drivers are in the old traditional outfits.

By the time we were done with the mine area and taking pictures with the old tram outside, it was already like 2 plus and our tummies were growling already. So... it was time to hunt for food!

But you see... Bendigo is a really small town and most of the shops closes at 4pm and by the time we went hunting for food it was already like close to 3pm soo.... the good cafes and all for brunch already had their kitchen closed and all there is to eat are the premade sandwiches and coffees. Ping wanted some hearty meal so in the end we settled with Noodle Box.

After eating we went to the Golden Dragon Museum. Although there were quite a few places to go and look around, but it was getting late and most of them closes at 5pm or latest 6pm and the days now are slowly getting shorter which means the sunset that day was at about 6 something 7pm. Once it gets dark, there isn't anything to do already lo...

Really don't like how fast it gets dark nowadays. Now, the sun sets before 6pm. SO ANNOYING!! At 6pm all you get is super dark sky as tho it is already 9pm. HATE IT!! Feels like your day has just been shorten for no reason...

Inside the musuem is all about some funny chinese history. They have the golden dragon dance thingy on Easter. What is that?! Why on easter???!

There was a nice view of a pretty garden while we were walking to get our car. It looks as tho it will be the perfect place for a wedding lo!

Earlier, on the way to the golden dragon museum, we passed by this really pretty fountain which is smacked right in the middle of the town and decided to go down and take somemore pictures :DD

Finally satisfied with all the picture taking and being all touristy, we decided to head back to Melbourne. But before heading back we stopped at a lookout for some final shots of the Bendigo town from up high and also to catch a glimpse of the sunset!

But ping didn't go up with me because the lookout tower look pretty scarily high sooo I quickly went up and grab the shots altho I am scared of heights as well. Hahahah!

Exactly like the one at the mine. And you see that guy in the photo? The whole time I was up there taking photos, I think he walked up and down more than 10 times! For the sake of exercising. But scary leh.... He somemore walk so fast. I pula walk so slow and held onto the rails so tight!

The town of Bendigo. I quite like Bendigo leh... Looks like there is alot of history there and the structures are all very historic and it looks really pretty!

Before leaving, we went to get some drinks and lollies to prepare ourselves for the next two hour drive. And then, spent the whole way just talking and talking to keep ping occupied while she drives. And was back in Melbourne slightly after 8pm. Dinner was at a kebab truck on Racecourse Road. The famous OZ Kebab! I haven't had it in a long long time and she hasn't been so why not lah.. We had enough of asian food for the day. The noodle box wasn't that nice so means dinner has to be somewhat good. hehehe

And it was goooooood!! Ping enjoyed it! Which makes me happy cause whenever someone enjoys the food I recommend, I super happy one lo!

Then after eating, we went to pick Wei Bing up as he was going to drive me back to Clayton cause ping had been driving the whole day already. So nice of ping to offer to fetch me back to Clayton! So grateful leh!! Cause initially my plan was to take the train and then the bus back to the boyfriend's one lo.. On top of carrying like stuffs(clothes, daily needs, iPad, books cause there was a test) which were heavy somemore. So thankful for her very kind offer!! :DDDD Love you lah ping! <3

By the time I got back to bf's was already like 9 something close to 10pm.

Have no idea what else did I do for the night. From the looks of how my usual routine is, I would have most likely KO-ed on the bed before doing anything. HEHEHE

Lastly, to conclude this post, I am going to announce on how much I miss Wei Ping! She is now back to Malaysia for good and I am like super missing her for being around cause she is usually my go to person for random lunches or weekend meetups... ): At least we did manage to have a day trip together and enjoyed it! Now.., I am one person short in Melbourne already.. )): Ping I will miss you very much!

At least I'll be heading back to Malaysia over to winter holidays which is super good news and then I shall reunite with her for some shopping and makan trip in KL :D Can't wait till I head home!

HELLO!!!

I am super back tracked with my posts... Sorry peeps! I tell you.. One day and one day goes by so fast! Before I actually did something productive, the day has already ended. And..., I have been like slacking and slacking and then finally realising that a week just went by like that. I so TOTALLY NEED to get things reorganised and get things back on track!

This post dates back to as old as a week and a half ago. The usual updates on daily stuff that I've documented somewhere along the line :) And will skip some stuffs or some days simply cause I didn't have anything documented down. And when I don't have it documented, it either means I was too busy sleeping and onlining with series and stuff. And likely not remember what had happened :P

Saturday 13th of April,

Went to Bendigo the day before(which I hope it would be the next post I update on!) and then stayed over at the boyfriend's after that for the whole entire time till the recent Monday only I came home.

Anyways, Saturday night, the place where the boyfriend stays had a welcoming party for the new year and the new tenants. And it is a potluck party which last year I cooked tom yum fried rice butttt this year all we did was get 3 boxes of pizza from dominos delivered.

The little party. This year was boring..!! I only knew two people there excluding the boyfriend on his landlord!! Last year was so much more fun with cherly and khai shien around...

But somehow we managed to survive about 2 hours plus without talking to much people. All we did was stay in our own little comfort zone, talking to the other two people we know, eating and also listening to stories that the half drunk landlord was going on about. HAH!

Sunday 14th of April,

I didn't document anything before dinner.

Went out to Clayton town's Korean Garden for dinner :)

Then went grocery shopping and stocked up on all the food needed for the entire week!

And made nachos for supper while watching Runningman! :DD

Me and the boyfriend, all we do is eat and sleep. Yes, we are That kind of couple :)))

Monday 15th of April,

Went to uni as per normal and classes ended at 530pm that day. After classes ended, all I could think about is what to cook for dinner :D And decided on Har Mee Hoon!! First time cooking it! It was from a pre packed paste but still considered I cooked it lah ok..!

It was seriously super yums lo...!! The paste tasted seriously like the real deal! The only thing lacking was egg and fried onions on the top to garnish.

Writing about it makes me want to eat it now! Maybe I should cook it again this weekend :DDD This time definitely with the left out items. HEHE

Wednesday 17th of April,

Had classes but had a 4 hour break and I decided to meet up with Wei Ping for lunch! :) 70% for lunch and the other 30% was for me to transfer the pictures we took in Bendigo with her camera. HEHE

Lunch was @ Taiwan Canteen on Exhibition street almost to the corner of LaTrobe street.

Have been craving for Taiwanese food for like ever! I have been missing the times when I was in Taiwan and literally having food everywhere and they all mostly tasted godly good! Especially 滷肉飯 man!! Just a few days before having this meal, I was just telling the boyfriend how much I miss and wanted a bowl of nice 滷肉飯!

And this at Taiwan Canteen was goooood! And it was only $6 for this bowl! It'll fill up the girls but not the guys lah. This is the small sized one. Guys can opt for the larger sized ones!

Our lunch meal. It was goooddd! Thoroughly enjoyed the simple yet satisfying lunch!

Lunch was ping's treat! So nice of her! :) Actually lunch was really cheap lo. It was $22 for all of that. Reasonable priced and tasted good!

After lunch I went back to uni for a 2 hour lab and then after the lab, I went back into the city for a planned dinner with Qian Hui, the bf and Wei Nian.

Dinner was @ Gami on Healeys Lane.

Chicken overload man!! So much of fried chicken for just the 4 of us! It was pretty good lah but I still prefer Oriental Spoon's fried chicken more than this.

Dinner company that night :) Mainly cause Qian Hui was leaving Melbourne in two days and wanted a dinner with the bf and wei nian. The three of them are highschool friends.

After dinner, we went for second round @ Joomak for alcoholic drinks! It's been awhile since I went out for a drink and I have been missing the rice wines at Joomak! I suggested it and they bought it :) win win cause Qian Hui hasn't been and I wanted my rice wine.. HEHE

Strawberry soju. And this was just so so.. I think it tasted abit weird.

But it was just me, the bf and QH. Nian opted to head home after dinner. So the three of us just sat there for about 2 hours plus chit chatting and drinking away. My face turned red la as usual but the drinks were so yums! :))) And good company too! <3

Was back in clayton at about 12am and then temaned QH to the Matherson library to catch the Monash courtesy shuttle for her to get back to halls.

And not long after we got back to the bf's, I was nicely in dreamland already. I was super tired from the long day and also cause the bed seemed super duper comfy at that moment. In fact, the bed is always comfy to me :D HEHE that's why I spend most of my time on it whenever I am at the boyfriend's!

Thursday 18th of April,

Had to settle a little mishap in the city. Was all worried out and super fan by the end of it. Thank god now it has somewhat cleared up a little already.

And also, Qian Hui and Joe Jin stayed for the night at the boyfriend's! So nice to have guests! :D

Friday 19th of April,

Woke up pretty early. I consider 9 something early on a day that I don't have classes. And had a small snack brekkie with qian hui and joe jin. Chips with avocado dip that JJ made. Munch munch all the way till about 10 something we went out to go get pho(vietnamese noodle) for lunch at springvale.

Lunch company :)))

Lunch was nice! Simple yet pleasuring vietnamese food :D After lunch, we took the train back to Clayton town and went to buy ingredients for me to cook claypot chicken rice for dinner.

By the time got back to MA also like 3 plus already. Marinated the chicken and then just spent most of the time chatting with them about everything random and before I knew it, it was time to cook. Cause they had to leave to the airport at 7pm.

And so so glad they loved it! Cooking something that people love and enjoy eating, makes me really happy and satisfied! JJ went for three plates and QH went for two. How awesome is that right?! I must admit and self praise abit, but my rice cooker cooked claypot chicken rice is really pretty awesome lo!! :DDD Face super thick I know XD

We talked and talked while eating and didn't realise it was time for them to leave already. So fast looooo... It always fun and nice when you have guests around! And fun times passes by so quick!

It was really nice having to know them! Grateful for meeting such nice new friends! :) The bf knew qian hui for almost 10 years already! And the both of them are really nice and down to earth people! And cute too! They sometimes make the cutest couple. HAHA! Hopefully we hosted them fine for that two days and hopefully they had a great time in Melbourne! Hoping to be able to see them soon too! :)

Saturday 20th of April,

My healthy breakfast to start off the day. Oats with grapes and honey plus a cup of hot chocolate :)

I rarely ever have healthy breakfast. When I say healthy breakfast I mean cereals and oats and all that stuff. I don't think I could remember when was the last time I had them. But I could say, at least definitely not in the last 8 years. And guess what? I totally regretted it! Not nice one.... Reminded me of my I never touch oats.. Tasteless and yucky... HAHA! But I still managed to finish everything. Forcefully... Never gonna do it again!

And then spent the rest of the day on series and stuff. Dinner was just eating leftovers. I was too lazy to cook and there were quite a fair bit of leftovers lo..

This is how I look lazing around the bed. The bf said I looked like a silk worm. HAHAH!

Sunday 21st of April,

Decided to stay at the bf's till Monday simply cause I was too lazy to head back home :P

And made "mun yee mee" for dinner! With lots and lots of marinated minced chicken! :D

Monday 22nd of April,

My only class for the day got cancelled so I was just lazing around till about 4 plus in the evening only I left for home.

Coming home means having home cooked food prepared for me and also staying in my room most of the time either on uni work or online or series-ing. Nothing interesting..

Mum sent me a postcard when she was in New York and I only received it when I got home cause I wasn't around for so many days.

The painting that was already originally in my room is used as a frame for me to stick whatever memorabilia I have! From pictures to souvenirs to postcards to air tickets, cards, movie tickets and stuff ((((:

Feeling super loved! I really really want to be there someday!! I SHALL AND I WILL!!!!

It is a really good habit to send stuff to yourself or a friend or something when you're overseas. Because you'll be able to get it stamp the way the country's post office stamps it and it just makes it more memorable! As you can see in the picture above, mum also sent me a postcard when she was in Venice.

I am so going to do that next time when I am in another country for holidays!

Wednesday 24th of April,

Had only one two hour class and also went to enquire about my student visa extension stuff. THEN... I went down to the city for window shopping :D With the thought of going to get a foundation for myself. I've never used foundation before and so I thought it was time to invest in one. So... I went over to Priceline to have a look and turns out they were having 40% off ALL cosmetics!! It was the last day somemore! So lucky leh...!! I had no idea at all one lo..

Turns out I bought more than just a foundation. Because the lady that served me was super duper kind!! Her name is Eve and she is so super helpful!! She hand picked out everything for me and then helped me to try on and see which is best and stuff. They have like about 10 brands and she literally went through everything to get the perfect shade for me! Really so nice of her leh... She helped me with everything! Foundation, primer, concealer, bronzer and even on lipstick colour!

I was so happy by the time I was done shopping! I've never been so happy when I am buying cosmetics. Ever! I hardly buy cosmetics one... And definitely never had a professional help with it before as well. So yeah... I am now very excited to try them out!

My buyings! :DD 40% was just too worth it!! And so I splurged a little :P HEHE I saved $50! Imagine that..!

After cosmetics shopping, I went to grab some food cause I haven't had anything to eat and then I went to Big W to pick up a pair of shoes for teck wei's sister and then walked over to wei ping's place to collect my Sydney souvenirs from her ((: I told her to get for me a Hard Rock Sydney tshirt and also Laduree macarons!

Long day lo.... I came home with sore arms and legs because I was carrying my books and ipad in my arms while shopping and also walked everywhere at a very fast pace because I had to rush. And then was home by 8pm.

Souvenirs!! Totally loveeeee them!!

I wanted something from Hard Rock Sydney because the last time I went I totally forgot to go and have a look and get something. I normally always get something from Hard Rock in whatever country I am in. Sooo.. I told ping to get this for me and I didn't know it was so expensive! Double the price for what mum paid when she was in the US... But nevermind la.. Once only. And I really really love this tshirt lo! The design is so me!! The back part looks like the picture above.

LADUREE!!!! The famous macarons from Paris! It was one of my regrets of my last trip to Sydney because I didn't get to try them. And now, I finally got to lay my fingers on them and better somemore, I get to try them!!

From top to left to right; Blackcurrant Violet, Violet Marshmallow, Lime Basil, Chocolate St Domingo, Raspberry and Salted Caramel :) They were all really nice!!! My favourite is the Lime Basil! I have a huge thing for citrusy sour things and basil is my new favourite herb in food! :D SO HAPPYYY!!!

And today,

It's ANZAC Day and it is a public holiday which means no uni! :DDD Public holidays and aunty D being home calls for shopping! HEHEHE and of course we went over to DFO Essendon. This time I bought two items for mum and one for myself? HEHE I tell you... If I don't go shopping or looking at anything, I won't spend my money one lo.. I have really evil eyes man.. See already, and if there is something nice and in my size of to my liking, I sure buy one lo! :P

Now, I have to clean up my utterly messy room. I am becoming more and more slacky in terms of keeping my room organised. OMGGG man... This will likely take me the whole night already. Provided if I clean non stop and not get distracted with series and stuffs.

Tomorrow, I am heading to the boyfriend's and will be back home on Monday! Shall update then! Bendigo trip will be next (:
