Terminate your non-responsive programs Automatically

Whenever a program becomes non-responding we usually remove or close it by using windows task manager(Ctrl + Alt + Del). But often it takes longer time and also makes other programs as Non-Responding. So it will be useful if we automatically end. To do so Follow the below steps

Goto run and type regedit and press enter
Then Locate Hkey_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop
Then on the right side AutoEndTasks key will be there. By default the date value will be 0 Change to 1
Then close it and Reboot your system.

Open Office 2007 files in Office 2003

Most of us may have faced this problem when we are using Office 2007 in home and Office 2003 in other places. The file extension for Office 2003 is *.exe, *.xls, *.ppt , and so on... Whereas the file extension for Office 2007 is *.docx, /.xlsx, *.pptx, and so on...

Due to this reason the problem occurs in office 2007 the office 2003 files can be opened, But in office 2003 due to the problem in extension files we cannot do it. Inorder to solve this there are 2 options. they are

1. Can save the format to word97-2003 in Office 2007

2. There is an Compatitibilty software provided by MICROSOFT. There are many third party software of the same kind is available, but is more advantageous than others.

How To enable limited user to burn cd in XP

When u log in to non adminstrative accounts in xp its a limited user account
There is an default option in Xp that denies or blocks the limited user from writing CD ......
This feature is done for the safety purpose but it frustrate us!!!!!!

Then here is a solution Now follow this easy 3 step to achieve this

1. To allow Limited User's to burn CD's, click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT. Go to:

2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

3. Look in the right pane for AllocateDASD and double click the entry. Set the value to 2.

On PRO, this is exposed in Local Security Policy under Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options

"Devices: Allowed to format and eject removable media"

Its sure u can enjoy this trick.................
So This only holds good for Xp only.

For XP Pro, you can do this by clicking Start, Run and entering SECPOL.MSC

Go to Local Policies, Security Options, look in the right pane for Devices: Allowed to Format and eject removable media. Set this option to Administrators and Interactive Users.

Default formatting

When you first time format your system partition, you should use default method. This is slow and low-level formatting but with this method you can remove all data from the partition as well as the hard disk is scanned for bad sectors. Here you can fix your system bad sectors.

Quick formatting

If you select the quick format method, you can save time but you can remove only data from the partition and does not scan the disk for bad sectors.
