May 8, 2013: yay! after so many years, finally ate a DONUT/DOUGHNUT! yes I don't eat donuts since elementary days! I HATE THE SMELL OF DUNKIN DONUTS! :)) so here's my first doughnut from j.co, alcapone and chocolate caviar, and yes alcapone is my ultimate favourite donut! (agad-agad) why? idk! :)) maybe because of ALMONDS which I love <3 Thank you, Boss, for these doughnuts!≧(´▽｀)≦

why i hate donuts?

noong unang panahon, lagi ako pinapasalubungan ng nanay ko ng pagkain o laruan tuwing uuwi siya galing trabaho. Isang araw pinasalubungan niya ako ng isang dosenang dunkin donuts munchkins yung bilog at saka donuts na din. naubos ko lahat ng munchkins paano wala pa akong kapatid noon, unica hija ang peg ko noon. Ngunit nagising ako bigla ng madaling araw at biglang nagsuka at nilagnat at naalala ko lasang donuts ang sinuka ko. simula noon hinding hindi na ako kumain ng donuts, lalong lalo na ang DUNKIN DONUTS :)) tapos nadamay na ibang brand ng donuts. ayun lamang. salamat.

Nexus 7 Portenzo Bookcase

     After I got my Nexus 7 3g, I wanted to have a case that is good looking and offers good protection. I searched everywhere in Singapore for a good case but I couldn't find any that suits my taste. So I tried searching online for some good cases then I saw someone post a review of their Portenzo Bookcase, I was smitten :D Searched for some more reviews and every time it was positive. Finally went to check their website http://shop.portenzo.com and decided to customize and order my bookcase (I wanted the Alano but it was a bit expensive hehe maybe next time :p )

    Production time when I ordered was 14 (working) days (excluding shipping time), quite long but it's worth the wait :) Choose the Nexus 7 + 3g as the device even if you have a Nexus 7 WiFi. It will have the necessary microphone holes for both versions. So you can still use the case even if you have upgraded your Nexus 7 WiFi to 3g. I have availed of the IntelliStand as an added option. It works really well and I recommend for you to also get this option added. It has an automatic sleep/wake function included by default (no charge)

   The casing looks really beautiful, you can feel the smoothness of the wood. Your Nexus 7 will look like a moleskin notebook hehe. And of course it's well protected. When you close the cover it sits on the case frame and not on the device. It has transparent rubber corners to hold your Nexus 7 in place. The sound is not muffled thanks to the sound chamber. It's one nicely built case and it also smells nice lol (maple wood). You can check out some of the reviews in YouTube to have a better look at the case.

How To Remove Google Korean/Pinyin Keyboard Without Root

Just go to Settings -> Apps and then swipe to the left to get to the "ALL" tab. Look for Google Korean keyboard and/or Google Pinyin on the app list. Click on it and in the App info click "Disable". Restart your Nexus 7 and the two keyboard will no longer be listed in the Language and Input Settings. You can disable other unwanted apps this way as well.

Carbonara Ala Karrie

Ingredients

1 pack spiral pasta
Nestle All Purpose Cream
Knorr Cream of Mushroom soup
2 Tender Juicy Hotdogs or BACON strips
1 Tbsp. Butter (Daricreme Buttermilk)
1 teaspoon pepper
A pinch of salt
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic

Measuring cups~ Coz I'm OC! =))

White Sauce =p~

AL DENTE!

Directions:
Put the softened butter into the saucepan. Saute onion and garlic until light brown. Add hotdogs.
Add the cream of mushroom soup, dissolve in 2 cups of water. Simmer for 3 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
Prepare pasta according to package instructions (al denté)
