Khajuraho is a small town located in the Bundelkhand region (Chhatarpur District) of Madhya Pradesh and is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. These temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beautiful and erotic rock carvings.

Rainfall of 114 cms annually. As summer is too hot, winter is a good time to visit. A good time to visit is March, when the annual Dance Festival takes place. Western Group of Temples

There is an entry fee of Rs. 10/- (for Indians) and USD $ 5 (for foreigners) to enter the Western Group of temples. (If you have a ticket from Taj Mahal, you can use it here again.) All the temples are open from sunrise to sunset. These are the richest and largest of all temple groups

Lakhmana Temple - The oldest and finest of the western group of temples, named after the ruler that built the temple. The A horizontal beam over the entrance of this beautiful Vaishnavite temple shows the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Lakshmi, Vishnus consort.

Kandariya Mahadeo Temple - This temple is decorated with a profusion of sculptures that are among the greatest masterpieces of Indian art.

Devi Jagdamba Temple - Dedicated to the Goddess(devi), this is smaller and much more delicately proportioned temple and is home to some of the finest sculptures of Khajuraho.The garbha griha has a huge image of the Devi of the Universe (Jagdambi), though it appears to have started as a Vishnu temple. It has the usual three bands of sculptures, but the third and most uppermost of these houses some of the most erotic sculptures.

Chaunsat Yogini - The only granite temple in the Khajuraho group

Chitragupta Temple - is dedicated to the Sun God (Surya), it faces eastward to the rising sun

Matanageswara Temple - A temple dedicated to Shiva, a huge 8ft Lingam adorns the temple.

Varaha temple - dedicated to the Varaha avatar of Lord Vishnu, it holds the statue of a Vraha[boar] in the centrestage with the Sheshnag lying beneath. Carving of an idol of Devi Saraswati on the snout of the Varaha reflects that every word/sound[dhvani] seeks blessing of Devi Saraswati [Goddess of speech,learning and knowledge]

Vishwanath Temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva, also called Vishwanath [master of the universe]. In the same premises, a temple dedicated to Nandi, holds a huge statue of Nandi [the Bull, the companion, attendant and closest aide of Lord Shiva].

Eastern Group of Temples

Parsvanath Temple - Largest among the group, with exquisite carvings in detail. The sculptures on the northern outer wall are the highlights of this temple. The image was installed in 1860.The three roofs of this temple depict mixture of Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences.

Ghantai Temple - This Jain temple has a frieze which depicts the 16 dreams of Mahavira's mother, and a jain goddess on a winged Garuda.

Adinath Temple - Dedicated to Jain Tirthankar(God), adinath, the temple is lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, including yakshis.

Brahma Temple - considered to be one of the oldest temples of Khajuraho made entirely in granite and sandstone, is dedicated to Vishnu.

Vamana Temple - is the dwarf form of Lord Vishnu, located in a secluded place and is known for its simple architecture.

Dulhadev Temple - The last temple of Khajuraho, lies to the south of Ghantai temple. The temple enshrines a Shivalingam. The apsara and ornamented figures are the temple's most striking features.

Beejamandal Temple - It is a ruined temple, and is near the Chattarbhuj Temple

Chattarbhuj Temple Or The Jatkari Temple - Built in 1100 A.D., is well-known for its architecture, and is also the only temple to be devoid of any erotic sculpture. 3 km away from the Eastern Group. Facing West, have to take 10 steps to reach the sanctum. The massive 9 feet intricately carved Vishnu idol in Chaturbhuja (four-armed).

Light and Sound Show at Western group of temples - After visiting the temple complex is over, the sound and light show, narrated by the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachhan, is held every evening. Entry ticket Rs. 120/- for Indians and Rs. 300/- for foreigners.

Jain Temples -

Owing to the renovation measures from time to time, it seems that the white Jain temples are comparatively new. The life-size sculpture of Jain God is praiseworthy. On your visit, you can also spot sculpture of animals inside the temple complex. Besides the sculpted figures, the architectural beauty of the white as well as other Jain temples are noteworthy.

Most important temple in the Jain Temple series is the Parshvanatha Temple, which is the largest of all. There is a statue of Parshvanatha inside the holy temple, who was a Jain Tirthankara. This temple is popular for the non erotic sculptures of Khajuraho. It is said that some of the best non erotic sculptures are found in this temple. 1. When you're booking your air tickets, make sure you inform the airline that you are travelling with an infant. Your baby will need a ticket, even if you are making him/her sit on your lap. Researchers from the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) and Manipal University have discovered 26 megalithic constructions at Byse near Hosnagara , 140 km from Mangalore, which were probably used as an astronomical observatory by its inhabitants.

The three-member team has claimed that the menhirs or stones, dating prior to 1000BC, are the first strong evidence of a monument with intentional solar and possible stellar alignments among Indian megaliths.

Using computer simulations, the team found that the standing stones are aligned to the north, east, south and west directions and also match the two solstices and equinoxes. While the two solstices mark the longest and shortest days of the year, an equinox occurs when the sun is in the same plane as the earth’s equator.

“The megaliths may have helped inhabitants know the various seasons; helping them carry out agriculture and other trade,” said Mayank Vahia, astrophysicist, TIFR. “The study establishes that India had a strong intellectual tradition of precise astronomical observation not copied from any other civilisation.”

The study ‘Stone alignment with solar and other sightlines in South India’ is published in the latest issue of Current Science, published by the Indian Academy of Sciences based in Bangalore.

“Although the site was discovered in 1975, we went back to literature and found that nothing more of them was studied,” said professor Srikumar M Menon from the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Manipal University.

Snowdonia National Park :-

Snowdonia National Park has well over 100 summits of varying heights and difficulties, to test the most experienced of climbers. Snowdonia was the training ground for some of the early mountaineers, who conquered Everest. Caernarfon Castle :-

One of the must watch site is Caernarfon Castle, it is in the town Caernarfon . Caernarfon, situated between the beautiful Menai Straits and Mount Snowdon is a busy Welsh market town and a major tourist centre. Caernarfon Castle is the World Heritage Site, the most famous of Wales' castles, and the investiture in 1969 of Prince Charles as the present Prince of Wales. Indeed the town is dominated by King Edward the first's impressive medieval fortress and town walls, built as part of the iron ring of castles to secure his English foothold in Wales after the death of the last Prince of Wales.

But the town is older than its medieval castle would suggest. Much older. Dolgellau :-

Dolgellau is situated in the southern part of The Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of the Cader Idris (Cadair Idris) mountain range with three main routes to the summit. The area displays abundant wildlife, including two Osprey nest sites about an hours drive away (one to the north at Glaslyn and another one to the south by the river Dyfi). There is a great deal of bird life around the Mawddach Estuary and the woods and countryside.This town pulls lots of tourist and serve as a great attraction of Snowdonia with many popular walks only two or three miles from the town centre. These include Torrent Walk and Precipice Walks (old and new). Another very popular walk/cycle ride starts from the town car park and runs nine miles along the old railway line to Barmouth on the coast.

If I have to talk about long walks, Local food, relaxing days, friendly people and beautiful landscape then I would love to talk about the British countryside. One of such lovely place is Ramsbottom , it’s a old mill town. You can enjoy nature's beauty , cycling , walking , funful events, history of railway , pubs, local product shopping, beautiful sculptures on road and Antique shops .

Ramsbottom is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, Greater Manchester, England. It is situated on the bank of the River Irwell, in the West Pennine Moors. The name Ramsbottom is believed to derive from the Valley of Garlic; it’s not related to “Rams” the cattle. Ramsbottom is a "thriving market town in spectacular surroundings". Its Victorian architecture, Pennine landscape, its industrial heritage and the heritage East Lancashire Railway station contribute to cultural tourism in the town. It is also the home of the famous “Blackpudding throwing competition” and “the chocolate festival”

Tourist Attractions :-

The Irwell Sculpture Trail -The Irwell Sculpture Trail is one of the largest public art projects in the country having some 20 sculptures in all. The trail runs from Salford along the Irwell Valley through Ramsbottom, on to Bacup and beyond.. It includes a Tilted Vase, created by Edward Allington. The sculpture, manufactured in bronze, occupies a central position on the site of the original market place.

Peel Tower – The Peel tower in Holcombe village , commemorates Sir Robert Peel, Prime Minister of Britain between 1841 and 1846, founder of the modern Police Force (once named 'Peelers' and still often referred to as 'Bobbys'). He is also renowned for repealing the Corn Laws. The tower, opened in 1852, is a popular landmark sitting on the top of Holcombe Hill (1100ft.) on the west side of the Irwell Valley offering a magnificent view to those who climb the 150 steps leading to the top.

The Rake and Millennium Bench – The Rake near the Peel Tower has always inspired many artists , you can find paintings , souvenirs and other art work with the beautiful views of the place.

Near to the Peel Tower and overlooking the valley is the Millennium Bench with its wonderful view it offers a good break to the visitors.

Farmers market – Second Sunday of every month you can enjoy the “farmers market”, Farmers come in large numbers to sell their home grown and homemade products.

East Lancashire Railway - The line started in 1989 and runs each weekend. Many special events take place throughout the year including Thomas the Tank Engine weekends and Santa Specials during the Christmas period. Many of the engines using the line are steam powered with classic engines often visiting the region.

The World Black Pudding Throwing Championship : –

The world black pudding throwingcompetition is an even which has gained the limelight for this small town. This event takes place on the month of September ( 2nd Sunday ) every year, in Ramsbotton. People travel to Ramsbottom from as far away land as Australia, Hong Kong, Africa and Sweden, to compete in the Black Pudding Throwing Championships. Revisiting the old Yorkshire-Lancashire rivalry, competitors use black puddings to knock stacks of Yorkshire puddings off a shelf.

Contestants gathered at the Royal Oak pub to throw black puddings at a stack of Yorkshire puddings piled on a plinth 20ft off the ground. The rules is that , you can throw three competition standard 6oz puddings - underarm only. Whoever knocked off the most Yorkshire puddings is the winner. Historically , Ramsbottom, Bury, now part of Greater Manchester, was in Lancashire.

It is said that the contest is based on an incident during the Wars of the Roses when both armies ran out of ammunition and threw food at each other. It is believed to be a revival of the Lancashire-Yorkshire rivalry

Black pudding is traditionally made of cooked pig blood, fat and rusk, encased in a length of intestine.

Chocolate festival – Every year in March-April this festival takes place in Ramsbottom. Many chocolatiers come to show case their delicacy The Festival features a huge choice of things to see and get involved in including the chocolate market, kid’s activities and food counters.

Apart from all these attractions and events, Ramsbottom also have some good antique galleries and shops .If you have a liking for antiques, then, I am sure you will end up buying some good stuff for your collection.

1 liter of spirits or strong liqueurs over 22 per cent alcohol by volume, or 2 litres of fortified wine, sparkling wine or other liqueurs.( Mix and match of alcohol products for alcohol allowance is accepted )
£300 worth of all other goods including gifts and souvenirs - rising to £340 after January 1, 2009

You need to be 17 years and above for the tobacco and alcohol allowance.

1.La Sagrada Familia -

La Sagrada Famillia is the masterpiece of the famous architecture Antoni Gaudi. He worked on it on 43 years. It’s a beautiful slender architecture devoted to geometric perfection and sacred symbolism.

Gaudi played an active role in directing the construction of the Sagrada Familia until his death in 1926. He would often request that work be modified and adjusted until it was exactly what he had in mind. 2. La Rambla

Las Ramblas: "A Way of Life" by NewsLook

La Rambla is the most famous street in Barcelona. The wide boulevard connects the Plaça de Cataluña, a busy square, with the Columbus Monument and the city's waterfront.

It is approximately 1.2 kilometres long with Port Vell (near the cruise port terminal) at the Southern most end and Placa Cataluña at the northern most end.

The Rambla was originally a small stream flowing just outside the city walls. In the 16th century convents and a university were built along the river. In the 19th century the city wall was torn down and buildings were erected along the now dried up river. The original buildings were demolished but they are remembered in some of the names of the five different parts of the Rambla. Even though it is one continuous street, the Rambla actually consists of five 'ramblas'. That's why the street is also called Las Ramblas (Spanish) or Les Rambles (Catalan)

3. Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter )

The Barcelona Barri Gotic area is also known as the Gothic Quarter and is the area in which the old town of Barcelona is situated. As you will see from the following photos the streets vary considerably in style but the old quarter is generally characterized by narrow cobbled streets with tall old buildings.

Picasso lived and worked in Barri Gotic from 1895 to 1904 and Joan Miró was born and lived here during his youth.

Barri Gotic is situated on the right hand side of the La Rambla as we look toward Placa de Catalunya. For those of you who are new to Barcelona, La Rambla is the famous 1.2 KM pedestrianized walkway that is consider to be the very centre of Barcelona.

4. Museu Picasso -

The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is a key reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The genius of the young artist is revealed through the more than 3,800 works that make up the permanent collection. Furthermore, the Museu Picasso, opened in 1963, also reveals his deep relationship with Barcelona: an intimate, solid relationship that was shaped in his adolescence and youth, and continued until his death.

The Museum is very rich in regard to work from the training periods in the life of the artist; we could say that it is practically exhaustive up to the Blue Period, of which the Museum has a priceless group of works. Furthermore, the Museum houses an important representation of works from 1917, and the series, Las Meninas (1957) and a very large Picasso’s prints collection, now displayed in the rooms opened in the beginning of 2008.

Salisbury known as 'The city in the countryside', the magnificent medieval city of Salisbury has it all: historic streets and alleyways, charming half-timbered buildings, traditional English eating houses and colourful shopping streets, not to mention a superb range of attractions like beautiful gardens , farms , Salisbury Cathedral and The Stonehenge.

Salisbury Cathedral -

Salisbury is unique amongst medieval English cathedrals having been built in just 38 years (1220 - 1258) in a single architectural style, early English Gothic. The tower and spire (Britain’s tallest) were added about 50 years later. The building itself is remarkable, a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who erected it.

But it is much more than a historical monument. It is a living church and a place of prayer. As the Cathedral Church of the Salisbury diocese it is Mother Church of several hundred parishes in Wiltshire and Dorset. It is also a centre of pilgrimage for hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

Salisbury Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, England, and is considered one of the leading examples of Early English architecture.

The cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123m/404 ft). Visitors can take the "Tower Tour" where the interior of the hollow spire, with its ancient wood scaffolding, can be viewed. The cathedral also has the largest cloister and the largest cathedral close in Britain (80 acres (320,000 m2)). The Cathedral contains the world's oldest working clock (from AD 1386) and has the best surviving of the four original copies of Magna Carta (all four original copies are in England). Although commonly known as Salisbury Cathedral, the official name is the Cathedral of Saint Mary. In 2008, the cathedral celebrated the 750th anniversary of its consecration in 1258.

The foundation stone was laid on 28 April 1220.Much of the freestone for the cathedral came from Teffont Evias quarries. Due to the high water table in the new location, the cathedral was built on only four feet of foundations, and by 1258 the nave, transepts and choir were complete. The west front was ready by 1265. The cloisters and chapter house were completed around 1280. Because the cathedral was built in only 38 years, Salisbury Cathedral has a single consistent architectural style, Early English Gothic.

The only major sections of the cathedral built later were the Cloisters, Chapter house, tower and spire, which at 404 feet (123 m) dominated the skyline from 1320. Whilst the spire is the cathedral's most impressive feature, it has also proved to be troublesome. Together with the tower, it added 6,397 tons (6,500 tonnes) to the weight of the building. Without the addition of buttresses, bracing arches and anchor irons over the succeeding centuries, it would have suffered the fate of spires on later great ecclesiastical buildings (such as Malmesbury Abbey) and fallen down; instead, Salisbury remains the tallest church spire in the UK. To this day the large supporting pillars at the corners of the spire are seen to bend inwards under the stress. The addition of reinforcing tie beams above the crossing, designed by Christopher Wren in 1668, arrested further deformation. The beams were hidden by a false ceiling, installed below the lantern stage of the tower.

Significant changes to the cathedral were made by the architect James Wyatt in 1790, including replacement of the original rood screen and demolition of the bell tower which stood about 320 feet (100 m) north west of the main building.

The Salisbury Font has been specifically designed to combine both movement and stillness, with living streams of water flowing from its four corners whilst a perfectly smooth, still surface of water reflects the surrounding architecture of the cathedral.

The gorge is the site of the Cheddar show caves, where Britain's oldest complete human skeleton, Cheddar Man, estimated to be 9,000 years old, was found in 1903.Older remains from the Upper Late Palaeolithic era (12,000–13,000 years ago) have been found. 1. Castle Cornet & Its Museums

Castle Cornet, Guernsey’s ancient royal fortress, has stood guard over the town and harbour of St Peter Port for nearly eight centuries. The story of the Castle and other aspects of Guernsey’s past can be found in the five museums housed within the Castle: The Story of Castle Cornet Museum, The Maritime Museum, The 201 Squadron (RAF) Museum, The Royal Guernsey Light Infantry Museum and The Royal Guernsey Militia Museum.

The Castle is also home to four well-researched ‘period’ gardens. There is a guided tour each morning and the Noon Day Gun is fired daily by soldiers in 19th century costume. Themed castle tours available every Sunday May - September at 2:15pm.

On selected days the Guernsey Museums & Galleries ‘History in Action’ company enact stories from Guernsey’s past. With so much to see, plus the Refectory Café and the Castle Shop, a visit to the Castle makes a great day out.

2. Fort Grey & Shipwreck Museum

Known locally as the “Cup and Saucer”, Fort Grey is a Martello Tower built in 1804 to defend Guernsey’s west coast. Many vessels have come to grief on this beautiful but treacherous coast, and the Martello Tower now houses a Shipwreck Museum with a surprising variety of objects recovered from the wrecks. The information panels tell the gripping stories surrounding the disasters which date from the HMS Sprightly in 1777 to the Vermontborg in 2003.

On Tuesday mornings at 11.15am and Sunday afternoons at 2:15pm Guernsey Museums ‘History in Action Company’ enact stories from Guernsey’s Past.

Possibly one of the most interesting, beautiful and varied places on the island, encompassing so many different things to see and do, including a delightful selection of wildfowl, lake-side café, Happy Hollow 9 hole short course golf, Affinity Gems, where you can make your own jewellery, and an Edwardian Tin & Coppersmiths. 5.National Trust of Guernsey Folk and Costume Museum

Set in stables and other outbuildings of an old country house in Guernsey’s largest park, the Folk and Costume Museum depicts life as it used to be in the Island around 100 years ago. Displays include domestic life, farming, fishing and seafaring, trades, the tomato industry and transport. The recently much enlarged museum also has several displays on Guernsey costume and a magnificent fully-furnished scale model of a Victorian town house. In the summer months (May - August), the museum has a programme of small-scale local craft demonstrations and explanations on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons.

While it is easy to gather the Channel Islands under any number of umbrellas, this new 110 mile, island-hopping, walking route dispels the notion that any of the islands are similar to their neighbours. Getting Around

Guernsey has an extensive bus service with routes servicing most parts of the island and all of the main attractions.

Taxi's and mini-buses are also available for hire, some of which conduct island tours.

With low priced petrol and competitive rates, self-drive hire cars are a popular way to explore the island. Although there are varying maximum age restrictions, cars can still be hired under private insurance; please check with your hire car supplier before arriving on the island. The minimum legal age to hire a car is 20 years old.

Driving in Guernsey is a little different to what most visitors are used to. The roads are narrow, there are special rules, and not all the signs will be familiar to you. The maximum speed limit is 35mph and less in many areas. Drivers must be insured and have a full driving licence.

Many of Guernsey’s public parking areas are designated as ‘disc parking’ zones where drivers must display a parking clock, available from the Visitor Information Centre, the Police Station and some garages/news agents. Details of how to use the clock are printed on the reverse. There are three dedicated small car-parking zones in St Peter Port. More details can be found below.

Motorcycles and bicycles :-

Motorcycles and bicycles are also available for hire and are an excellent way to see the island. If hiring a motorcycle, you must be 20 years of age or over and have held a full licence for more than one year in the category required.

Saint Patrick's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Pádraig (The Festival of Patrick); Ulster-Scots: Saunt Petherick's Day) is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17 March. It commemorates Saint Patrick (c. AD 387–461), the most commonly recognised of the patron saints of Ireland, and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. It is observed by the Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion (especially the Church of Ireland), the Eastern Orthodox Church and Lutheran Church. Saint Patrick's Day was made an official feast day in the early seventeenth century, and has gradually become a celebration of Irish culture in general.

Saint Patrick's Day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Newfoundland and Labrador and in Montserrat. It is also widely celebrated by the Irish diaspora, especially in places such as Great Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand, among others. Today, St. Patrick's Day is probably the most widely celebrated saint's day in the world.

The person who was to become St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born in Wales about AD 385. His given name was Maewyn, and he almost didn't get the job of bishop of Ireland because he lacked the required scholarship.

The Pagan Saint

Far from being a saint, until he was 16, he considered himself a pagan. At that age, he was sold into slavery by a group of Irish marauders that raided his village. During his captivity he became a Christian and adopted the name Patrick.

He escaped from slavery after six years and went to Gaul where he studied in the monastery under St. Germain, bishop of Auxerre for a period of twelve years. During his training he got the notion that his calling was to convert the pagans to Christianity.

His wishes were to return to Ireland, to convert the native pagans to Christianity. But his superiors instead appointed St. Palladius. But two years later, Palladius transferred to Scotland. Patrick was then appointed as second bishop to Ireland.

Spreading the "Truth"

Patrick was quite successful at winning converts. And this fact rightfully upset the Celtic Druids, who had their own native religion. Patrick was arrested several times, but escaped each time. He travelled throughout Ireland, establishing monasteries across the country. He also set up schools and churches which would aid him in his indoctrination of the Irish country into Christianity.

His mission in Ireland lasted for thirty years. After that time, Patrick retired to County Down. He died on March 17 in AD 461. That day has been commemorated as St. Patrick's Day ever since.

Maewyn Myths

Much Irish folklore surrounds St. Patrick's Day. Not much of it is actually substantiated.Some of this lore includes the belief that Patrick raised people from the dead. He also is said to have given a sermon from a hilltop that drove all the snakes from Ireland. Of course, no snakes were ever native to Ireland, and some people think this is a metaphor for the conversion of the pagans. Though originally a Catholic holy day, St. Patrick's Day has evolved into more of a secular holiday.

Symbolism

One traditional icon of the day is the shamrock. And this stems from a more bona fide Irish tale that tells how Patrick used the three-leafed shamrock to explain the Trinity. He used it in his sermons to represent how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit could all exist as separate elements of the same entity. His followers adopted the custom of wearing a shamrock on his feast day.

The St. Patrick's Day custom came to America in 1737. That was the first year St. Patrick's Day was publicly celebrated in this country, in Boston.

The rare and lovely appearance of rainbows makes them incredibly magical for children and adults alike. Perhaps this magic first inspired the notion of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Dating back to Old Europe, the legend of the pot of gold is claimed enthusiastically by the Irish. They'll tell you that fairies put the gold there and then the leprechauns guard it. This folklore has become part of the symbolism of St. Patrick's Day, a holiday that celebrates everything Irish including the hope and luck it takes to find that elusive pot of gold. People play games of finding the pot of Gold on this day.

Good Things Come from Pagan Conversions

Today, people celebrate the day with parades, wearing of the green and drinking beer. One reason St. Patrick's Day might have become so popular is that it takes place just a few days before the first day of spring. One might say it has become the first green of spring.

7. Soul Food Project St Patrick's Day Supper – Birmingham

Enjoy an evening of delicious Gaelic cuisine at The Old Crown in Digbeth, Birmingham. The evening costs £15 for the three course sampling menu and tickets are distributed on a first come first serve basis.

8. Gaels Le Chéile – Glasgow

Enjoy entertainment from a variety of musicians including the Inishowen Céili Band whilst raising money for charity, as all proceeds from this event go to the Glasgow Irish Centre Project.

9. England vs Ireland Six Nations Rugby – Twickenham
