Lunasol Water Gel Foundation Review

So i got a surprise email from Kanebo last November,
that said they want me to review some of their products.
I never used Kanebo before, but my sister is. And i've heard many good things about it.
So, yes, i was very excited to try all the products they gave me.
Sadly, i didn't get a chance to post the review until now.
I was so busy with my work lately, i completely forgot about my task.
I'm really really sorry Miss Julia :(

These are the products they gave me.
Lunasol Water Gel Foundation in YO02 (a sponge is included but i forgot to photo it -_-), Kanebo Eye Liner, Lunasol Eye Brow Powder in Grayish Brown and Lunasol Nuance Change Foundation B in 01.
(they also gave me some skin care products which i will review later #fingercrossed)

What the website says about the product :

This is a water-based, gel-type foundation with approximately 65% water composition has a cool, refreshing sensation upon application.
A film of succulent gel evenly coats the skin’s surface with light spreadability and outstanding adherence unique to a gel. Delivers radiant, purifying skin, as if it were dressed with luster and water.

What i love from it :
- it comes in convenient squeeze tube with a fine nozzle
-good oil control
-so light weighted
-coverage is buildable
-the texture that seems meld onto skin

the swatch :

I'm quite impressed with this foundation actually.
The texture feels great on my skin, good coverage and it doesn't break me out.
The oil control is also good, when not using a face primer, oil is only visible in the T-Zone area only. And that's after about 5 hours.
Plus the SPF is quite high.
One thing that concerned me only that i got my foundation brighter than my actual skin tone.
Other than that, i love it.
If you need a light weight foundation for everyday use with light to medium coverage,
you should consider this Lunasol Water Gel Foundie !

Overall :
This foundation is perfect foundation for me, i like it !
It can give me a flawless finish and keeps my face from looking too oily by the end of the day :)

what i love from it :
-easy to blend
-matches my skin tone
-it has a shimmery effect

I didn't wear it on the photos above, but i do love it !
It hides my under eye circle in an amazing way, and the shimmer gives my face a fresh touch.
Ah wait, i have close up photo of my eyes when i was using this amazing product actually.
As you can see, my under eye circle is gone, and check out those pretty shimmer on my face.
Ahh, love.

Overall:
i super love it ! Enough said :p

The first two photos were what i wore to my hubby's birthday dinner, last November.

It's just a casual dinner with him and his mom and dad, that's why i picked the dress.
I didn't want to look overdressed.

I love to wear lipstick only on center of the lips recently.
And i let everything simple.
I only wear oil-free primer, BB cream, blush on and lipstick, let the lipstick and blush do their magic to make my face fresh and healthy.

Hey, have you watch Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part 1?
I absolutely blown away by the film.
It's the best Twilight Saga so far.
Hope the second part would be even greater than this one, fingercrossed.
The wedding scene and the honeymoon were amazing.
How i wish i was that pretty on my wedding day, sigh.

Black And Blue

Sporting black and blue look the whole day yesterday.
I wore the blues with my vintage sweater.
Since rainy season is coming already, and the weather's getting humid,
i thought it'd be a perfect time to wear this sweater.
Not the most comfortable sweater, but this is the only black sweater i got.
Maybe this is a sign to buy me a new black sweater :p

Hello again !
Wow, I can't believe 2011 goes by so fast. Only a month and a half before new year.
Last year, it was only me, moody preggy mommy-to-be and my lovely husband celebrated xmas and new year. And this year, it'd be so different and special because we will celebrate it with our daughter.
Who thought i could survive 2011 ! Not only survive, i think i managed to be a good mommy too.
Since Eve was born, my whole life has totally changed, and it was a struggle at first. I had baby blues moment for almost 2 months, and seriously thought i would torn apart.
I cried a lot, mad, confused and felt that i couldn't be a good parent for my baby.
Thanks to my husband, my grandmother and my parents in law, who helped me through those hard times. Slow but sure, i could finally gathered myself up and found my motherhood rhythm.
Thank you too for my little angel, for the unconditional love to your mommy *smooches*

Speaking of christmas, my outfit here reminds me of christmas tree. Don't you think? Haha.
What would you wear for celebrating christmas this year?
I think i'd go for my lace dress and gold clutch.
I haven't got any christmas plan yet,
but here i am planning out the outfit, lol.

I love the close up ones with the big smile.
It's not an easy job to make me smile naturally in front of the camera,
i think my husband did a great job this time ;)

Blue Polka Dot

So, new hair. I was about to dye it pink actually, but i was too afraid that my parents in law would faint when they see my hair. So i canceled it :p
But honestly, i really really really want pink hair. I think it'd look cute on my short bob hair.
Maybe later.

The cute blue polka dots blouse was given by Myclo House.
I bought lots of polka dots print thingy since i saw Marc Jacob f/w 2011 runway.
I fell in love to the collections and to the cute pattern and started to buy any cute polka dot prints when i shop.
This blouse was a perfect gift they could give me. Thank you Myclo House.
I love the fabric, it's so light. And also the color.
It was my first time, i think, wearing such cute and light color. I never had baby blue outfit on my wardrobe.
I was hesitated at first, i couldn't picture myself in such cute color.
But after i tried this on, i kinda liked it. I think i look younger and... fresh, maybe?

Tried on bow tie for the first time, and loved it.

It's like back to my junior high school all over again. Bow tie was a part of my junior high school uniform.

One thing that bothered me was, my outfit was totally weird for small city like Malang.

Everybody stared at me like i'm a weirdo, lol.

Well, hello again :)
So, another lack of post for the whole month. And i'm really really sorry.
I tried to blog more often, but there were tons of things to do that distracted me from blogging.
But i actually managed to post some of my looks on LOOKBOOK, cause, yes i have to admit, it's way moreee simple than blogging. On Lookbook I only have to resize and edit two photos and upload it and for me it doesn't matter if i leave it blank without any information at all. While it feels wrong to blog without write anything about the look or updating something. And the thing is, i'm not a good writer and my english isn't that good (lol, i admit it), so now you know, i need more concentration on blogging, lol. Not to mention, resizing and editing photos for blog took some times too. Sadly, with my job and my mother duty, it's hard to find the free time to sit, editing photos and think what to write on this blog. But since i love blogging, i will try my best to always update it. *fingercrossed*

These flat wedges are one of my new shoes last month.
Bought it from my favorite online shop, Just Wanderlust.
I feel in love to the color and i never had that kind of shoes, so i decided to buy it from the second i saw it.
But, sadly, i think my short legs are not the perfect match to this kind of shoes.
I think they look weird and even shorter :x
It's sad, cause i love the color.

Hi there..
I'm sorry for another MIA. I know i'm a bad blogger.
When other bloggers post almost everyday, my last post is last month -_-"
My daughter and my new job had kept me busy, i couldn't think of anything else.

Speaking of my new job, i now working as art director on a new fashion magazine called VIVO.
Actually, one of the owner is my friend, she offered my the job because she knew i love fashion and design, and my vision suits what she wanted Vivo to be.
I was in a huge dilemma, should or should i not take the job.
Because as you know, i'm a mother now. I barely have "me time" since Eve was born. So i thought, can i handle another thing now??
But then my husband told me to take the job. He said that it's good for me, since i love designing and he said that i need to have another activity beside taking care of Eve.
So, yeah, i took the job.
Although it's not easy at all to work while being a full time mommy, (I didn't get enough sleep before the dead line, because i could only work while Eve's sleeping), but somehow i managed to finish it. And I'm proud of myself for it :)
I'm planning to publish the cover and some of the pages on my blog soon. I'm open for any comment, in fact i really need your comments, guys :)

Another outfit post for the 10 for 10 challenge on Female Daily forum.
I wore mint green top and pink pencil skirt (i folded it to make it shorter).
The bag and big round ring were from Mango and the rhinestone headband from Just Wanderlust.

I didn't wear full make up for quite some time.
So i enjoyed wearing those lashes although they're very heavy.
The orange lipstick was inspired from Etude ad, Miss Tangerine. I love it.

Outdoor photo after almost a year, thank God !
I forgot how fun it is to take photo under the sun, and how pretty the result is !

These photos were taken by my hubby on dad in law's garden.
Yes, my dad in law loves gardening. He even uses some spaces on our rooftop for his plants.
And, yes, it could be my new favorite place to take outfit photo :p
I thought colorful outfit would be perfect for my first outdoor photoshoot.
So i picked out fuschia top and mustard pants from Just Wanderlust (my favorite online shop!), classic bag from Bangkok and some accessories from Closet Stories. The bird ring is a gift from them too. And lastly, my colorful strappy heels from Paprika/Gojane.com.
It felt nice to wear colorful outfit, boosted up my mood :)

I lost some weights, yay !!!!
My current weight at the moment is 45 kilograms, about 3 kilos from my normal weight.
I'm so happy, cause i don't do any diet, and i still eat a lot (because i'm still on breastfeeding program) but i lost few kilos in a month! Yes, in a month.
So to celebrate it, i wore my new bodycon skirt from Just Wanderlust, to show off my new figure, lol.

The turban is something challenging for me. I'm not a big fan of head accessories except headbands, cause i always think i'm not girly enough to wear such things.
But then i saw Karla from Karla"s Closet wore one, and i fell in love with it, i thought i should give it a try.
I think it's cute. But i cannot wear it in a small city like Malang without everybody staring at me like i'm a crazy girl with weird pink thing on her head. And hubby doesn't like it. So, yeah, maybe i won't wear it again anytime soon. It's too bad, cause i kinda like it.

I know it's weird. But my chest is too big it's scares me, so i had this big urge to cover it up.
I'm enjoying this breastfeeding phase, whatsoever. But i'm not a big fan of my own breasts now.
They're so big, hubby often said that i carry bombs lol.
But, yeah, anything for my precious Eve :)

Well, yeah, maybe. Since i post more about make up than outfit and fashion now.
