Washington State tax law requires companies to submit quarterly earnings for each employee who worked during that period of time. Milestone has developed a simple way to extract your payroll tax data from Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) and import that data into the Washington State Employment Security website.

Payroll data is extracted from Sage 100 (MAS 90/200)into a preformatted Excel spreadsheet. A quick login & date/company selection process is required to extract the Sage 100 data. Once the spreadsheet has been saved it can be easily imported into the Washington State Employment Security website ensuring that an error free, time efficient process.

By now, you have likely received several emails from Sage referring to your product under a new name. After 30 years, Sage MAS 90/200 has officially become Sage 100 ERP. For those of you using what we have known as Sage MAS 500, your product is now known as simply Sage 500 ERP. The rebranding takes place in an effort by Sage to have a simplifed common approach to each of their mid-market ERP products. The bottom line is, the software is the same, the name is different.

Sage MAS Intelligenceis a reporting tool that uses Microsoft Excel as it's reporting engine. In addition to financial statement reporting, Sage MAS Intelligence allows you to create reports from any module. 941 Form and Tax Table Updates

On March 1, 2011 the Federal government issued their final updates to the 2011 form 941. Sage has issued a Hot Fix to update this form for Sage MAS 90 and 200 versions 4.4, 4.3 and 4.2. In addition, the Q2 2011 Tax Table Update is available for download. The 941 and TTU updates are available for download through Sage’s Support Website, and are also included in Product Update 5 for version 4.4. Please contact Milestone for assistance in downloading these product updates.

Streamline lookups and data entry by using keyboard shortcuts in MAS 90 and MAS 200. Here are a list of useful keyboard shortcuts:

F2 - Displays the lookup window for the current field
F3 - Displays the navigation search window for the current field
Alt+A - Selects the Accept button
Alt+C - Selects the Cancel button
Alt+D - Selects the Delete button
Alt+P - Selects the Print button
Ctrl+Insert - Inserts a line
Ctrl+Delete - Deletes the current line
Alt+X - Selects the next number button

MAS 90/200 version 4.4 on Track for Q1 2010 Release

MAS 90/200 version 4.4 brings with it the completion of the new Business Framework first introduced in version 4.0. 4.4 conentrates on bringing Inventory, Purchase Order, Bill of Materials and Barcode into the new framework. In addition, new Business Insights Explorer views have been added, as well as expanded customer and item fields.
