Artificial intelligence is finally crossing a threshold. Companies have long talked about AI as a transformational force, but most activity stayed in sandboxes and innovation labs. In 2026, that balance has begun to shift.

As more than 300 corporate strategy leaders gathered in Munich for the World Economic Forum's Industry Strategy Meeting this month, the question was less “Can AI work?” and more "Where is it already changing how we operate at scale?"

Eating an orange a day may lower a person’s depression risk by 20 percent, according to a study led by Raaj Mehta, an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School and a physician at Massachusetts General Hospital.

That might be because citrus stimulates growth of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii (F. prausnitzii), a type of bacteria found in the human gut, to influence production of the neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine – two biological molecules known to elevate mood.

The first crewed mission around the moon in more than 50 years is coming up – target date is April 1, 2026.

Thinking about getting tickets? Tickets for viewing packages were released by the Kennedy Space Center and for purchase directly through the center’s website. The “Feel the Heat” package, which offers the closest viewing point at 3.5 miles from the launchpad, sold out within hours. Other tickets for viewings at the privately run main visitor complex eight miles away were also sold out.

You can sign up for email notifications (see link below) on the space center’s website for the latest information about the launch.

The lack of French in Air Canada's chief executive Michael Rousseau’s speech about the deadly collision at LaGuardia Airport reignited a debate over linguistic inclusivity in Canada.

His speech reignited a debate over linguistic inclusivity, a contentious issue in Canada. Particular scrutiny falls on Air Canada, which still bears special obligations from its origins as a state-owned carrier before it was privatized. Mr. Rousseau has faced criticism throughout his tenure for speaking little French.

One Canadian lawmaker said he could have read from a teleprompter. He could have shown his sensitivity to this issue and his will and intention to respect the French language and Francophones.

More importantly, we extend our condolences to the victims of this awful incident.

The Global Economy Is Threatened by the War in Iran

Into the American and Israeli war with Iran, the economic, political, and military costs of the conflict for the region and global economy are already significant, and mounting every day. Iran’s swift and broad retaliation against American military bases in the region, its waves of drone and missile attacks against the Gulf Arab states targeting hotels, airports, and energy infrastructure, and its de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz are a cumulatively costly nightmare for the Gulf.

The cost this war will exact from the Gulf will ultimately depend on how long it lasts. If intense fighting ends within three to four weeks, the shock may prove temporary. A longer war, however, risks leaving deeper scars – disrupting energy flows, unsettling investors, and gradually eroding the Gulf’s reputation for security and stability.
