&lt;li&gt;At Least CPA 1 Qualifications&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 years progressive work experience&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Competency in accounting software preferably PASTEL.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to work under minimum supervision.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or related field;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Understanding of IT products available in the region (Cisco, Juniper, Oracle, Sun and others) a mandatory requirement;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;At least 8 (eight) years experience, with 3 (three) at senior level; and&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Take a lead and Coordinate design of a redundant and robust access 
fiber network to support both Network and Enterprise clients connections
 requirements;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proper and efficient utilization of the transmission frequency 
spectrum&amp;nbsp; for interference free running of Regional microwave network;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure maintenance of an accurate and updated transmission 
database(Cellbase) and establish linkages to planning tools and 
transmission NMSs;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure proper maintenance and upgrades of the transmission planning tools and monitoring/test equipment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Analysis and establishment of Regional transmission equipment forecasts and requirements to meet capacity needs;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure the proper testing and introduction of new products/technologies and features with no/minimal traffic interruption;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure the Regional Transmission network is optimized to meet the set network&amp;nbsp; performance criteria;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Day to day management of the transmission team, Set KPI 
requirements, assign duties, track performance, training recommendations
 and mentoring.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide a lead in all the Regional Transmission Projects and programs management;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provides technical solutions and support to the EBU &amp;amp; CBU in regards to transmission connectivity requirements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide the technical team Leadership to the&amp;nbsp; Engineers in Planning 
and Establishing of a robust and reliable Regional Transmission Network;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;To be abreast with latest trends and advancement in transmission and related technologies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Minimum requirements&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Thorough understanding of Transmission planning and Optimization 
principals with at least 2 years as a Senior Transmission Planning 
Engineer.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Advanced Practical knowledge in Microwave and Fiber networks planning and deployment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Knowledge in establishing and running of Transmission database 
systems and maintenance of current and relevant transmission planning 
tools.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Attention to detail with good organizational, planning, report writing and presentation skills;&lt;/li&gt;

 Project Coordinator (title to be determined by experience and 
qualifications of selected candidate) to manage all IT-related aspects 
of the WASH Benefits project, primarily focusing on computer-assisted 
interviewing (CAI) for field surveys.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other relevant project 
components include: hardware and software support for digital data 
collection in the field, database architecture and maintenance, and SMS 
communication and surveying with study promoters and participants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The

&lt;li&gt;Ensure proper maintenance and upgrades of the transmission planning tools and monitoring/test equipment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Analysis and establishment of Regional transmission equipment forecasts and requirements to meet capacity needs;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure the proper testing and introduction of new products/technologies and features with no/minimal traffic interruption;&lt;/li&gt;

Well-Being Project is a 5 year cohort study examining the influence of 
care environment on the health and well-being of orphaned and separated

&lt;li&gt;Provide referrals for psychiatric and other medical care as appropriate.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Promote efficiency and high standards of psychological care.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop intervention programs and activities that improve psychological care in the respective sites.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Manage resources for optimum operations within the sites.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Participate in the professional guidance and training of staff to ensure highest standards of healthcare at the sites.&lt;/li&gt;

 HIS Officer is based in Lodwar and will have responsibility for 
collection, collation, compilation, analysis, maintaining and 
dissemination of data on Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health,

reproductive health, nutrition, WATSAN and other relevant data on time.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist conduction of survey, evaluation and research activities&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure
 MoH data tools (registers, forms etc) are correctly utilised, kept and 
updated within Merlin project areas including health facilities and 
communities&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist the M&amp;amp;E officer and programme staff with 
the preparation and presentation of data for internal and donor reports 
in a timely manner&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure availability of relevant data collection tools within the Merlin supported health facilities &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Foster ownership of data collection tools and related data by health facilities. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Regularly collect and at all times maintain in a user-friendly form all projects data in a Merlin database.&lt;/li&gt;

 the M&amp;amp;E officer in identifying training needs on data for Health 
Records Officers and other MOH personnel on data collection, entry,

&lt;strong&gt;Introduction and Background&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The effects of climate change are here with us and their evidence is 
prominent. The same sentiments are echoed in the National Climate Change
 Response Strategy that “the evidence of climate change in Kenya is 
unmistakable’’. Temperatures have become risen throughout the country.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Rainfall has become irregular and unpredictable and when it rains, 
down pour is more intense. Currently, 80% of Kenya is Arid and Semi Arid
 Lands and by extension most of her population depend on these lands for
 livelihood support. Kenya also derives over 40% of her GDP from the 
environment and natural resource based sectors such as agriculture, 
energy, forestry, tourism and water.&lt;br /&gt;

Climate change is expected to exacerbate the already serious 
challenges to food security and economic development, especially on the 
rural agriculture dependent populations that are already struggling to 
meet challenges posed by existing climatic variability (IPPC, 2007).&lt;br /&gt;

Climate change and rainfall patterns already have significant impacts
 on agricultural productivity (for instance, increased occurrences of 
crop failures, low yields, extreme temperatures, etc). Most climate 
modelling scenarios indicate that the ASALs of Kenya, for instance, will
 be severely affected by droughts and high temperatures in the years to 
come. A greater frequency of droughts and flash floods has already been 
observed in recent years.&lt;br /&gt;

In response the government of Kenya in 2010 formulated and adopted a 
National Climate Change Response Strategy for Kenya. This provides a 
road map for proposed and ongoing adaptation and mitigation strategies. 
However, the marginalised communities like pastoralists could be left 
behind in this noble process.&lt;br /&gt;

Therefore it is imperative for a people driven approach to climate 
change adaptation and mitigation. The project intends to address policy 
gaps as evident in the National climate change response strategy.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Project Description&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

In view of the above, TPF implements this project in Tana Delta District and covers Garsen, Tarasaa and Kipini Divisions.&lt;br /&gt;

In total at the local level, the project covers 15 administrative locations and 32 Sub – locations.&lt;br /&gt;

The overall project objective is to enhance the understanding and 
ability of communities to participate in climate change adaptation and 
mitigation through awareness creation, advocacy and lobbying. The 
project duration is 24 months.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Overall Project Goal&lt;/strong&gt;: The overall project goal is to enhance capacities of Tana pastoralist communities to cope with impacts of climate change.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Objectives of the project &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Objective 1&lt;/strong&gt;: To increase the participation of 
pastoralist communities in the adaptation to climate change for 
sustainable development in Tana Delta District.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Objective 2&lt;/strong&gt;: Creating linkages with relevant 
institutions that will promote resilience on climate change among 
communities within Tana Region.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Objective of the baseline&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The main objective of the baseline study is to provide reliable 
baseline information on climate change adaptation, impacts on 
livelihoods for the target localities in the regional administrations 
which will be used as benchmarks against which changes and progress of 
achievements can be measured and evaluated using verifiable indicators 
presented in the logical framework during the project implementation 
phase.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Scope of work and methodology&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The consultant shall carry out the following activities:&lt;br /&gt;

Activity 1 – Revision, design and field test of the base line survey instrument:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Review of key documents, logic model, project proposal, etc&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Consultation with local partners and TPF on survey plans&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Preparation of draft instrument&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Final draft of the instrument for the survey, translation, field test and adjustments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Consultation with TPF staff on modifications to the survey instrument before and after field testing.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
Activity 2A – Sampling:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Design sampling strategy based methodology&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Calculate sample size agreed-upon methodologies&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct sampling&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Include the above in the final report to TPF&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
Activity 2B– Plan, design, and implement training of enumerators and supervisors:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Recruitment of sufficient number of enumerators.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Preparation of training plan, field work protocols according to agreed methodologies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Implementation of training for enumerators including responsibility for logistics – venue, snacks, equipment, etc.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Creation of the data entry plan entry, cleaning, and analysis.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Discussion with local partners and CIP/Staff.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
Activity 3– Implement and supervise field data collection, data input and cleaning:&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordination with TPF staff&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Preparation of materials and equipment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Notification to partners and communities&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Deployment of enumerators to the field.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct data processing: (1) primary processing , comparison and validation of files, clean files, tabulations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
Activity 4 – Analyze and synthesize data; and prepare report&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Preparation of initial results in output tables.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Prepare and transmit periodic reports to the Marketing manager.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;A University graduate in a relevant area of business, insurance or marketing. An MBA would be an added advantage.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Have seven (7) years experience in the insurance/financial services sector, three of which should be at the managerial level.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Track record of dealing with motor and non motor insurance business.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Possess strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proven experience at leading teams to achieve sales targets.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Self driven individual with impeccable integrity.&lt;/li&gt;
