Iniţial, desenele au circulat pe post de &quot;surprize&quot; introduse în pachetele de ţigarete ale vremii. Ulterior, le regăsim sub forma unor simple cărţi poştale. Nu ştiu de câtă atenţie s-au bucurat în epocă desenele lui <span style="color: orange;">Cote</span>, dar dacă am pune în balanţă chiar şi numai interesul pe care îl suscită în prezent, tot cred că ar fi suficient să zăbovim câteva minute asupra lor. Ulterior, am primit câteva e-mail-uri de nedumerire de la cititorii blog-ului (mulţumesc Andrei, Melania, Cristi şi Oana!). Întrebarea, perfect justificată, era dacă acest <span style="color: orange;">Channing Pollock</span> este una şi aceeaşi persoană cu interpretul rolului principal din varianta <span style="color: orange;">"Judex"</span> ecranizată de <span style="color: orange;">Georges Franju</span> în 1963. E vorba de <span style="color: orange;">Fujichrome Velvia 100F</span> şi <span style="color: orange;">Velvia 50</span>. Mai exact, este vorba de formatele pe 35 mm, 120 mm şi 102x127 mm (4x5) ale gamei Velvia 100F şi, respectiv, 4x5 şi 8x10 ale gamei Velvia 50. Se pare că ultimele stocuri vor fi puse în vânzare în decembrie, în Marea Britanie (aviz amatorilor!). După atâtea veşti proaste, iată şi una bună: gama Velvia 50 îşi va menţine formatele pe 35 mm şi 120 mm. Oficialii companiei japoneze au invocat în sprijinul deciziei diminuarea cererii la nivel mondial, pe fondul popularităţii în creştere a formatului digital. De exemplu, Velvia 50 a ieşit din fabricaţie în 2005, ca urmare a dificultăţilor de achiziţie a materiilor prime necesare, însă producţia a fost ulterior reluată, în august 2007, pe măsură ce <span style="color: orange;">Fujifilm </span>a dezvoltat unele materii prime alternative.</span><br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: small;">În 2010, Fujifilm renunţase la alte trei produse din gama profesională, şi anume <span style="color: orange;">Neopan</span> 400 120 mm, <span style="color: orange;">Superia reala</span> 35 mm şi Pro 160S 35 mm. Există însă şi celelalte situaţii, în care oricât de mult ai încerca să fii unic, nimic nu se leagă şi asta dintr-un motiv foarte simplu: s-a scris atât de mult pe tema respectivă, încât nimic nu mai poate fi original. E cazul, cu vârf şi îndesat, şi pentru capodopera din 1927 a lui <span style="color: orange;">Fritz Lang</span>, <span style="color: orange;">&quot;Metropolis&quot;</span>. Chiar dacă ai impresia că ai găsit o cheie nouă de interpretare a filmului, ar putea fi, realist vorbind, pretenţia respectivă altceva decât un orgoliu de moment? Nu cred...</span><br> <br> <span style="font-size: small;">Faptul că există această postare, pe care chiar dacă nu o puteţi &quot;atinge&quot; (deh, pixelii ăştia...), tot puteţi striga că &quot;Este!&quot;, e cea mai bună dovadă a ambiţiei şi &quot;curajului&quot; de a vorbi, totuşi, despre film. Cum o vom face? Simplu: ca şi când aici şi acum, pe blog, s-ar scrie prima oară despre peliculă. Abordarea e una simplă: ne teleportăm mental în fotoliile unei săli de cinematograf din 1927 şi vom studia programul distribuit la premiera peliculei. E vorba despre premiera londoneză, de la <i style="color: orange;">Marble Arch Pavilion</i>, din 1927. Ca mai toate obiectele conservate de-a lungul timpului (postere, cărţi poştale semnate de actori sau regizor etc.) şi acest program este extrem de valoros, cu atât mai mult cu cât unii opinează că ar mai exista doar 3 exemplare păstrate (!). Dovada: a fost scos la vânzare pentru aproape 4.500 dolari. Absolut nimic nu trădează statutul lor aparte, excentricitatea existenței lor. Mai mult, instantaneele pe care le vom admira îți distrag parcă în mod subtil atenția de la datele biografice ale personajelor, punându-ne, în schimb, în fața unor realizări tehnice deosebite. De data aceasta, avem ocazia să vorbim despre primul film gratulat</span><span style="font-size: small;">, în 1929,</span><span style="font-size: small;"> cu laurii Oscar-ului. Nu, asta nu înseamnă în vreun fel că devenim comerciali sau ne lăsăm purtați de valul celor cu ochii țintuiți asupra cuvântului care începe cu <span style="color: orange;">&quot;O&quot;</span>. Nicidecum! Filmul este unul extrem de interesant, un cocktail veritabil de adrenalină - și ce senzații!-, considerat de unii ultima mare realizare a anilor 1920. Pe frontispiciu, stau scrise cu litere de-o șchioapă: <span style="color: orange;">Gary Cooper</span>, <span style="color: orange;">Clara Bow</span>, <span style="color: orange;">Richard Arlen</span> și <span style="color: orange;">Buddy Rogers</span>. Cu avantajul conferit de vizionarea filmului, dați-mi voie să pun oareșce &quot;bețe-n roate&quot; arsenalului de marketing tipic americănesc (da, funcționa perfect și pe vremea aceea!) și să restatuez ordinea: </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: orange;">Buddy Rogers</span></span><span style="font-size: small;">, </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: orange;">Clara Bow</span>, </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: orange;">Richard Arlen </span></span><span style="font-size: small;">și, în fine, <span style="color: orange;">Gary Cooper</span></span><span style="font-size: small;">. Şi totuşi, realitatea este necruţătoare şi nu s-a dovedit a fi mai concesivă nici în privinţa firmei americane. Dar, toate aceste detalii, într-o postare viitoare.
