Spanning four tracks all written in the same key and BPM, Rapid Eye Movements creates a sense of unity in its uniformity, making it one long never-ending and repeating body of work, as if you are stuck in the endless loop of waking up and falling asleep.

“Nystagmus” kicks off the EP featuring vocal samples from the movie “Walking Life,” introducing the theme of being awake in your dreams, but asleep in walking life.

Rebounding bass drops come in, shaking the listener awake and capturing attention spans for the rest of the EP. The second track on the EP, “Showin Out” is an assault on the senses. Vocal samples of "rinse that sound" repeat alongside echoing sine plucks, bringing an infectious energy to the track.

“I wanted it to feel like you were falling backwards into an endless beautiful abyss, surrounded by green energy.” - Ravenscoon

Lastly, Ravenscoon rounds out the EP with a collaboration with CASHFORGOLD, creating an immersive listening experience with "Awake.” Buttery vocals paired with Ravenscoon's signature low-tempo percussion, "Awake" takes the listener through oscillating bass and euphoric melodies that collide divinely. Featuring guest vocals from Chris Willis, “I’ll Be Up” is an upbeat synthwave odyssey, layering emotional lyricism over driving beats and sparkling electro flourishes.

“I’ll Be Up” boasts the same infectious punch as Max M’s earlier work, combining the soaring heights of the anthemic “Never Wanna Leave” with the sizzling immersive atmosphere of “Under Water”. Max M’s latest single begins by letting the piano take centre stage, before building to a cooly understated pre-chorus with old-school groves but stylishly modern vocals. From there, the single forges a unique path between irresistible rhythms and earnest vulnerability, backed up by sugary synths that prime “I’ll Be Up” to be the summer of 2021’s hottest club track.

With their experimental sound, that flows freely through multiple genres, Zizzo World is both exciting as well as innovative. As both a producer and artist, Zizzo World possesses a knowledge of music theory and production that is rarely equipped by other members of the scene.

Now, Zizzo World has his latest single, "Feel The Same." "Feel The Same" is also more impressive as it was produced, recorded, and engineering during one of the worst global pandemics in history. As COVID-19 cases continue to grow, affecting the music industry horrifically – with the UK going though its second coronavirus wave, many musicians are being forced to stop their passion due to the inability to proceed. However, Zizzo World continued to work and develop an extension of his heart, putting his all into this upcoming track.

Having started their music journey in 2004, Zizzo World began creating music as a hobby – and way to ‘kill some time.’ However, it quickly developed into something more serious as Zizzo World discovered their passion and talent as a musician. In 2008, Zizzo World moved to New York, and refined his talent as a producer – excelling in engineering, and multi-faceted creation. It was during this period that Zizzo World manufactured his own stylization that listeners now adore.

In recent years, has also found himself developing skills in the business side of music – critical skills that are necessary to grow and thrive in such a competitive industry. Zizzo World, especially, has learned how to market himself and his music.

As dawn breaks, “Dusk” emerges to restore balance to the cosmos through elegant and celestial soundscapes. Featuring Axel Thesleff, a euphoric inauguration in “Suncrown” welcomes listeners to the dark, mystical kingdom of enlightenment. Uplifting and healing vocal chops revitalize “Memories” once forgotten, as listeners resume their path towards awakening. “Sacred” is a pensive excursion through the troposphere, voyaging aloft a cumulus of dreamy synths. “Overgrown” resolves the eclectic Cloud Walk with exquisite acoustics, bidding farewell as one returns to the Earth’s soil.

With that in mind, the Chicagoan producer joins forces with Sergi Yaro to blow up the speakers once again. Effectively, "Dreams" is the kind of pop-centric EDM paired with excellent vocal hooks that help you stay motivated. If you think pursuing one's dreams is important and necessary in life, then this new electronic anthem will move your soul to the highest vibration level.

The Tiesto and Armin van Buuren's influence is notable on "Dreams" but it truly stands alone with its solid soundscape. Additionally, listeners can feel the striking climax right when the beats drop. As well as the magma of vibrant melodies that fades into the background of this electronic anthem. All in all, these sonic elements are there with the aim of energizing your mind and your will to build a better future. With a growing fanbase over the last 10 years, John Lynx finally dares to empower other creative musicians to do everything they can in order to achieve their goals, visions, and plans.

You will be very stoked once you hear energetic drops and the melodic voice of Alley Parton. Get lost in with such singable verse lines straight away. What’s more, if you’re feeling the

melancholic sensation on this track, then that’s a good sign as the artist has served its purpose.

The super chill piano intro + the splashing of raindrops give a clue this is not the typical track with generic Dubstep beat drum

or wobbles on repeat. Actually, “Find My Way” is quite the opposite as the Chicago-based producer showcases a solid sound

design and lyrical base that exudes so many emotions. The production quality is insane, so I think it deserves to top the electronic

music charts anytime soon. The acoustic mix pulled from the driving remix vibes of Seven Lions, a song that Spotify considers part of the Best Dance of the 2010s. Now, Soto is hitting hard with another acoustic mix from her wildly impressive discography.

On July 21, 2015, electronic music legends Illenium, Said The Sky, and Cristina Soto joined forces to create the powerful melodic dubstep single, “Painted White.” Originally released via Gravitas Recordings, “Painted White” was also accompanied by two remixes by Au5 & Fractal and Clockvice. Cristina Soto is revisiting this iconic time in history and will independently release her acoustic mix on October 23, 2020.

“‘Painted White’ stemmed from observing worldly conflict and bringing it down to a deeply interpersonal point of view,” shared Soto. “We are all both righteous and innocent in our minds about the choices we make, even if they are biased and unfair to others. We can also grow from surrendering, which is tied to the white dove / flag of peace in my mental imagery.”

Through 11 artist collaborations that span over nine tracks, prepare to engage in an ecstatic, auditory journey full of rhythmic vibrations, beautiful melodies, and organic sounds. Each song has its own special process, and a special collaborative vibe consolidates to form the unified project that is Merging Elements.

“Arise” with Equanimous and Skysia while they prepare for a meditative voyage into the beautiful sunset. Equanimous and nok nok immediately encounter a series of rhythmic, vocal percussion in “Bumpin Bass Beatbox.” Equanimous recruits Auralponic for “Tahini Kiatsu” as dreamy keys meet an expressive, bassy spirit with a hint of glitch. AHEE is the next companion when the duo encounters an “Air Bender,” who greets them with cinematic instrumentals that alter between dreamy and high-powered. Hohm and Equanimous are soon escorted to meet the “Saviour,” travelling down a passage of soothing bells and oscillation. “Echoes” are rebounded as Equanimous and ZANDRO face a shadowy, unknown opponent of mysterious origins. Equanimous and Oliwa enlist ethereal singer Ruby Chase for a celestial sailing to the sky as she reminds them to keep their “Head Up High.” Equanimous and his alternate musical alias, Bliss Looper, experience euphoric “Dreamality” as angelic vocalist Cyndy Fike enters the stage. Geometrae joins for the concluding title track, exploring worldly and organic musical territories that achieves true equanimity.

Sooner or later, his attention-grabbing single “Fool For You” is about to reach 10K streams on Spotify. I think many agree this sound has the potential to become a Deep House hit. Moreover, Summer Haze really elevates the song substantially with her sultry vocals. This is why I can feel the sincerity and the emotions behind the crude lyrics. Besides the driving basslines, there are rich piano chords throughout the whole sonic gem. Joe is highly influenced by Kaskade’s Redux project; therefore, he takes listeners to the heart of classical-inspired dance cuts. With such a good balance between chill and melodic rhythms, “Fool For You” is also the perfect addition to sunrise sets everywhere. Check this out.

Released via Gravitas Recordings, Solstice is a six track album that embodies Savej’s experiences as a student of life. By creating a compilation of work that infuses ancient cultures with ones in modern day, Savej preserves a worldly resonant vibe to prompt journeys of the mind.

“Solstice” spotlights Savej’s practice of the Kargyraa style of throat singing, a skill that demanded weeks of training to achieve proper vocal cord disengagement. As the Native American flute searches for “One Truth,” percussive rhythms support the binding of matter and spirit into one energy. “Eye For An I” employs entrancing trap soundscapes with an organic tribal flair. Nature comes to life in “Sirens,” as creatures who roam the jungle are dazzled by hypnotic bass tapestries. When the Sun’s path crosses the celestial equator, “Equinox” escorts wanderers towards a groovy celebratory dreamscape. Concluding the paradisiacal globe-trot, “Vilca” pays tribute to the sacred psychedelic ritual, offering one last dance in the shamanic wonderland.

Get ready to experience the epicness as this is the type of tune that gives goosebumps, especially due to intense buildups + spine-chilling drops. What’s more, Indian singer Suvi Suresh aka SuVi offers haunting vocals that rumble over euphoric beats.

High in energy, once you press play below you’ll feel like you’re at your favorite festival leading the hands up in the air. Needless to say, John always takes his tracks to the next level as most of them feature an overdose of emotions. Of course, “Love Zone” is no exception. With such romantic lyrics that denote brilliant songwriting skills, it portrays a strong message of love you can feel identified with. Without further ado, “Love Zone” is an EDM anthem the world truly needs to sit down and listen to.

</span

These include grime, bassline, garage, dubstep, and future bass, among many others. This is a truly contemporary song that refuses to be pigeon-holed. Instead of focusing on one genre, the artists are focused on the meaning, lyrics, and overall vibe of the track. They want to connect with the listener, not worry about which genre they fall in.

This is the way that a lot of contemporary music is going, and it’s refreshing to hear artists and producers that aren’t bound by a set of strict rules. It’s more freeing and creative, and it’s also much more captivating to listen to. The lyrical composition in “WAKE UP” is hard-hitting and in-your-face. There is a chilling repetition of “wake-up” which has a visceral impact on the listener. Some of the most powerful and memorable lyrics are “I feel nothing / when I’m sleeping” and “shut the door before it’s too late / there’s a poison in your veins”.

There are so many different ways to interpret the lyrics. At times, the dark and introspective feel of the composition feels like they are talking to a drug addict who is knocking on death's door. Yet, it also can be perceived as inspiration for someone to stop living life by the sidelines and finally get out there and take risks. The lyrics are empowering and uplifting, and the urgent energy to the mix really gets your heart pumping. This song would be perfect for a difficult workout or even just a drive down the highway. It is packed full of energy that immediately lifts your mood and inspires you to keep going.

The vocal performance is passionate and freely expressive, which perfectly captures the essence of the lyrics. The voc
als recall the likes Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, and John Mellencamp. Although the singer isn’t in the same genre as these artists, he has the same expressive quality and emotional voice. The soundscape in “WAKE UP” is multi-layered and immersive, with industrial style electronic sounds that are heavy and punchy.

The song was also nominated as the hit song of the year by the well known Norwegian music magazine GAFFA. Providing us with that laidback 70 and 80's vibes with slapping bass and sexy vocal melodies that make you wanna make an Aperol spritz asap!
Kappekoff is finally back with another disco banger with Jimmy Smash. Bass driven and brass heavy disco music with soothing vocals is never wrong. As we speak I'm reaching for the Aperol bottle as we speak, cause this summer jam is much needed with all the modern music that's being released nowadays.

On the upcoming album Turning Points, a mix of jazz musicians and pop artists contribute, including Ola Kvernberg, Linni and Myra. Jimmy Smash also collaborates with Falkenberg on the lead single «Why You», which is already play-listed on Norwegian national radio NRK P3. The song will also be released in a remixed version by Funkin Matt.

In most cases the more the marrier. Vokab Kompany has really taken this to a new level with their latest LP, Small Viktories. The San Diego based band has brought together a nine-track album comprised of a wide swath of feels, textures, and vibes.

The album which features the vocals of Rob Hurt and Burkey, is a musical journey with a little bit of something for everyone. It packs in collaborations with artists like JPod, Megan Hamilton, AHEE, Crush Effect, and Cloudchord. These collaborations create incredible fusions of styles that are intertwined with hip-hop feel and lush sound design.

Small Viktories is definitely a top to bottom listen that you don't want to miss. Canadian Multi-instrumentalist Zanski has revealed his latest project, a 5-track EP entitled Upon Frigid Water. Bursting with emotion and soul, the young musician details a personal portrait of his mind's eye and one he hopes his fans and listeners can find solace and support within. When speaking on the inspiration behind the project he shares, “I want to cultivate a sense of understanding around people who are looking for answers and let them know that they are not alone in the journey. I want people to form their own interpretations and conclusions, and feel as though they have gained something real from it.”.

Zanski’s tasteful fusion of R&B, pop and electronic continues to transgress traditional musical boundaries through candid lyrics and at times intentionally distorted, incoherent textures within his production, masterfully showcasing a sense of realism on his latest offering. LoFi R&B accented with psychedelic sounds and indie vibes present a reflection of the prodigious talent in his truest form. He taps into his psyche, translating those thoughts into his music to create a safe and therapeutic space to conquer his internal demons and ultimately finds solace through self-realization in the face of absurdity by saying, “so what?”

The young artist is consistently creating music that continues to shape up to be a hit. The latest installment from Wizzay features the smooth vocals of California's Rachel Woznow. Woznow's top lines complement the instrumental and yet still take charge in their own right to grab listeners and tell them a story. The track appropriately titled "hooked", is ear-catching and full of motif that gets stuck in your head.
Norwegian artist Milos is back with "Attention," a dance pop crooner bound to take you to another world. Having a knack for spicing up his productions with all the flair, you just want to move, and forget we're in lockdown. Check what Milos had to say below about his new one, and keep your ears out for a third single, SOON!

I’m so stoked over all of the support I got for my previous release “One More Night” with Ima Sobé and can wait to show you the follow-up. The last couple of months, I’ve spent a lot of time working on new material, and I feel like things are really coming together. When I started working on “Attention’” I wanted to keep going with an ethnic vibe, combining foreign guitars, kalimbas, percussion and a killer topline - topping it all off with a hard-hitting chorus. “Attention” is actually a song that’s been finished for a little while, but it felt right to release it now.

Today's mesmerizing track of the day “Consequence,” comes from Toronto-based multi-instrumental, producer and songwriter Zanski, off his forthcoming EP out in June. He shares on the inspiration of the record “Consequence is a song about self-acceptance in the face of overwhelming internal struggle. It parallels themes of obsession and compulsion, and being able to accept that you are valid in spite of this friction and that you can escape.” In a period of non stop releases, it's good to take the time to pause and listen to what's really good, "Consequence" is really good, it's a must listen!

Chris Malinchak is back to his early label home Ultra Records to release, "Somebody," a deep, soulful house track that harks back to the kind of sound that the New York-born artist has built his reputation around. It also samples Terror Squad's "Action", to make for a classic.

For Malinchak, who creates a worldly fusion of jazz, r&b, and electronic, the music is about bringing together - “About a year ago, it felt like the right time to make an album. "Somebody" was one of the first songs I made, and this release seems like a proper introduction. It talks about finding that deeper connection we're all looking for in a time when we've never been so connected. It also reminds us to have fun and to take chances. Lots of bass, claps, and Terror Fabulous helps us do it.”

The single is the first of several off a forthcoming album.

Ksenia is back to set the world ablaze with her latest single Fire with Fire. The Russian-born singer's power comes through in full-force as she details the emotions felt during an unhealthy, long-term relationship. The track walks us through a linear story of a couple's descent into disarray leading to the entire relationship going up in a puff of smoke. The amount of detail and unique way Ksenia described this experience feels extremely real and incredibly believable.

"My song, 'Fire with Fire' is about revenge and for not being okay with half-baked romance. Nobody should settle for less for the sake of companionship and anyone playing games with you should be kicked out of your life... keep your head high, ladies!"

Despite the heavy subject matter, Ksenia still manages to place those dark thoughts into a piece of music which makes the ideas easier to understand and allow the listener to form their own thoughts on what this couple is going through, resulting in a cerebral listening experience. It will be interesting to see what other concepts Ksenia will tackle in songs to come, but for now, be sure to stream "Fire with Fire" below.
Lila Drew returns with "Locket" as the follow up single to her successful debut EP, a chilled back pop ditty to vibe out to. Accompanied with the single, is a feature film, and I say this because, once you have a man set on fire in the video, it's no longer just a music video. Stream it below, and check out what Lila had to say exclusively to the Fader on her latest song and video:

Locket is an exploration of the first time I ever experienced heartbreak. I loved the idea of a locket — something that’s perfect and strong, but hides personal memories inside of it. I took that idea and tried to paint a picture of the feelings that came with that heartbreak — guilt, sadness, but also optimism in the sense that I was able to grow from those experiences.

Tessa is a singer-songwriter coming out of Melbourne, Australia, who rose to popularity after the release of her globally acclaimed single “Old Friend,"under her former project, Hoodlem. Tessa arrvies today under a new project with an increasing desire to showcase a more raw, unfiltered version of herself. She shares, “I want my music to come across as myself. I love making music and singing and performing and have, at times, gotten lost in the external factors of being an artist. I want to make music as myself and feel like myself doing it.” And so came the natural departure from her Hoodlem project as she steps into the next phase of her career. There’s no alter ego here, no smoke and mirrors. This is Tessa at her core. Tessa debuted new single "Bad Bad Love” last week and on it she brings a unique flavor to your palettes via this gooey, R&B/pop-infused, throwback treat of a single, paired with wry, situational lyrics.
