Time flies when you're having fun...or are super sleep deprived...y'know, whichever (c;

I can't believe so much time has gone by since I updated my little corner of the blog world! It always starts out as "I'm just going to take the week off..." and before you know it, it's been two months!

AND A BABY.

I'd like to introduce you to little Leah Beth, she's three weeks old today and I can't even believe how fast time flies with a baby! It seems like every time I turn around she's changed again and I just want time to STOP. That's a possibility, right???

And that brings us to now...

I have been going back and forth and have written this post a thousand times in my head, but couldn't bring myself to put my words into an actual post...because that makes it *REAL*.

I always told myself that the second that blogging didn't feel like a hobby, like something that I really truly *wanted* to do everyday, I would let it go.

It sounded really easy.

But it isn't.

I have loved and nurtured this little corner of the blogosphere for a long time and it felt like part of my identity. I have had so many amazing opportunities and experiences thanks to this little blog, definitely not the least of which is all the amazing friends that I have come to know and love through this fabulous blog community.

I absolutely adore every single one of you that have brightened my day through your amazing posts, inspirations, comments...y'all are the best! I wish that I could do a blog friend tour and hug every one of you that has made my life better by getting to know you.

But at the end of the day, my heart is in a different place now and I've finally made peace with that fact. I really hope that someday life brings me back to the blogging world, but even if it doesn't, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

This is pretty much me at this point (c;

However, the kids are still for reals psyched, as evidenced by their crazy poses on our weekend getaway over Labor Day:

We were in cooler temperatures for 2 and a half *blissful* days and let me tell you, I'm just *SO* ready for fall now!

Unfortunately, it's not as ready for the Phoenix area. *BOOOOOOO!!!*

So we're gonna cook up some fashion that can carry us through this messy little "transition" phase!

LOVE these new sweatshirts from Old Navy, really light-weight and adorable...they will definitely see every statement necklace I own this Fall!

You could totally do this same outfit with shorts and still be pretty summery...I just need those boots to find their way into my closet...push present??? (c;

I don't know what it is, but something about back to school time just makes me want to shop like crazy (okay, fine. I want to shop like crazy ALL the time, but this makes me somehow feel like it's okay (c;).

Hellooooooo, from the *laziest* blogger EVER.

I know, that's not a very nice thing to say, but darn it, lately it's just a fact. I've seriously thought about throwing in the towel, but the truth is that I can't stand to part with it and with my bloggy friends. I have no idea what will become of ATBAB in the future, but hopefully by the time I figure that out, peeps will still be around to see it (c;

We got to see out little gal this week and darn it if she was completely uncooperative for the picture! Smashing your face into the side of my belly??? Really??? This attitude better shape up, young lady! (c;

32 weeks and feeling super full of baby...so it's a shame I have *EIGHT* weeks to go...(c:

I tell you what though, I have been ridiculously grateful for *DRESSES* this summer...they are comfy all the time, no matter how I sit or how hot it gets, still hands down the most comfortable thing to wear.

If I actually felt like getting all dolled up (which, let's face it, is a rarity when you feel huge and less than cute!) I may or may not be seen wearing something akin to this cute ensemble running about town:

What we're up to and Disney's Planes Movie Review!

Oh Friday, how good you look! It's been forever! Like 6 days...(c;

So little man had his first day of 1st grade and guess what???

I didn't even cry! I was so proud of my overly-emotional preggo self. And he still holds my hand as we walk to school {heart that}.

And while the brother is away, the sister will play! This was the catch of the week: A baby gecko.

And now a little word about movies...

So are you thinkin' of going to see Disney's 'Planes' this weekend???

I would advise against it.

I honestly wanted to love this one *SO* bad, I really did! I wanted it to be 'Cars' with planes, one that my kiddos would be entertained with over and over and that I actually wouldn't mind sitting down to myself.

Not the case.

I really thought that having funny man Dane Cook as the lead voice would make this totally hilarious...meh...it was okaaaaaaay...but the characters in this one just aren't nearly as funny and loveable.

I took my 4 (almost 5) year-old with me to this one and about half way through, she was begging me to leave. *sigh* I have to admit that I thought about it.

I think that a lot of kiddos will be entertained because it still has a good story behind it and hey, it's got PLANES, right? But I would save this one for the dollar theater, my friends. Sorry )c:

Inspirational Monday

So school starts on Wednesday for my little man.

Whaaaaaaa???

How did that happen??? It's still hot out, which means it's still summer, which means no school, right???

I am, however, pretty proud that I made it all the way through the summer and actually *did* fun stuff with the kiddos, gold star!

This was a good reminder of why I tried not to park them in front of the TV all summer (c;

I've been feeling so tired lately (hmmm, I wonder why??? Oh wait, I'm 7 months pregnant.) and then I don't get everything done that I want to and then I'm frustrated and grumpy.

AKA: I've been kind of frustrated and grumpy.

This is when it starts getting really hard for us Phoenix dwellers because you realize that even though summer is really only until August for everyone else...it's until the end of October for us...so even though all the retailers are starting to put out those new, shiny fall collections, we have no chance of that for *quite* a while.

Oh I just love the day after a holiday, here's hoping that today is a little slower-paced and more peaceful day...and then I hear mothers of small children everywhere laughing and pointing at the far-fetched nature of this hope (c;

For a very long time, I've been a gal that loves red...not only is it just a gorgeous and bold color, but it's pretty much universally flattering on all makes and models, so win-win!

And I've been doing a ~~wee bit~~ LOT of Stella & Dot lusting lately, so I figured I would go ahead and share some of these lust-y beauts:

We had a good ol' time yesterday celebrating our great nation...I spent a good portion of the time squirting tears because I'm hormonal and patriotism usually makes me cry anyways (weird)...luckily, these two had no problem having a ball:

Movie Review: Despicable Me 2 AND The Lone Ranger! A.K.A- Movies you need to see!

Looking for something to do out of the heat for the 4th??? How about the movies?!?

I know, how do I come up with this stuff, right? (c;

Summertime/holidays are the movie industry's *JAM*, so when you get BOTH like for the 4th of July, you have to know whatever is coming out is going to have to be epic. And they are.

If you aren't already in love with this movie just because of the characters from the first movie, then let me clear something up for you: YOU'RE INSANE.

There aren't that many kid movies out there that I would go home and watch by myself...but this is totally one of them! THE MINIONS. 'Nuff said.

I'm already a big ol' Steve Carrell fan (dude is a riot), but I have officially joined the Kristen Wiig fan club, she is absolutely *hilarious* as Lucy, The Anti-Villain League spy.

VERDICT?

This is unadulterated family fun, anyone and everyone will L-O-V-E it! Um, unless they are *insane*, as previously stated...but it's a super hilarious movie and I always enjoy that they sneak little sweet parts in there, too.

Three things you already KNOW about The Lone Ranger:

#1:

The new Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer) is smokin' hot.

Johnny Depp is *freakin'* awesome as Tonto...was there really ever any doubt?

It's amazing how a piece of music written in 1838 can still give you goosebumps...hats off to Gioachino Rossini, the William Tell Overture composer...it's still super awesome theme music almost 200 years later (c;

VERDICT?

Another absolutely awesome movie...super fun for those probably ages 6 and over...that's right, I would take my 6 year-old to this one! There is definitely some violence, but for the most part it's good old fashioned Old West violence and Disney does a pretty good job of keeping it pretty tame. If you are super picky about the violence that your kiddos ingest, than it's probably a "no", but I honestly thought it was just a good ol' western romp and made me want to go back and watch the original Lone Ranger (c;

P.S. Silver is scene stealer. That is one funny horse.

Friday's Fancies and Monsters University Movie Review!

Can you just smell that new weekend smell??? I'm-a gonna soak it up.

I was going through some of our photos and videos a couple days ago and found these pictures and was comparing...

Then...

Now...

I'm having a major mommy preggers meltdown...how did they get so big???

Am I the only one that all of a sudden goes "Holy crap, where did the time go???"

So to drown my sorrows, I clearly needed to think about clothes (c:

Suit * Sandals * Bracelet * Case and Tote * Cover up

I'm thinking some time on the beach is *clearly* in order...and I'm most definitely getting my grubby little paws on those sandals...$20??? No brainer.

And if you're looking for a getaway this weekend, but perhaps not the beach...why not go to the movies, hmmm?

Such an adorable movie!

Seriously, if you loved the first one, you'll love this one for all the same reasons: loveable characters, funny stuff going on, and a sweet storyline with a good message.

Thank goodness it's a completely different story (c;

This is definitely a true family flick because the little ones with love it for the characters they're probably already in love with and the adults will love it for the hilarious college cliches that make it all relatable. I wouldn't hesitate to take littles to this one, both of mine *loved* it.

I don't know that 3D added anything to this one, though, you can probably skip the 3D version...

Moral of the story: Disney/Pixar does it again (c:

Just where does the time go???

And just like that two weeks have passed, Memorial Day, my birthday, a week long family visit...craziness!

I'm pretty sure that after you're 30, all the birthdays kinda blend together, and mine was a blend of this:

Eating A LOT, including the best cupcakes ever, seriously, if you are ever in the area, they are just as good (maybe better) than Sprinkles! And adorable to boot.

A Whole Lot of News...

So this has been a WHOPPER of a week in our family...in fact, I'm not really sure we are going to have so much big news in so few days ever again (and boy am I totally glad about it! #stressedtothemax)

Last Friday night we got the much anticipated news about the Husband's BAR results:

And holy *BLEEP*, they make you wait, and WAIT, and *WAIT* for those fricken' results! But we are so relieved and now it's just on to finding a job. No problem right??? (bwahahahahahaha)

And then on Tuesday came big news #2:

Yup, Baby #3 has officially become Baby Girl...which was quite a shock for me because I was *certain* that she was going to be a boy...why? I have no idea, but I figured I had a fifty-fifty chance...turns out I'm terrible at gambling.

I'm totally overjoyed to be welcoming another little lady into our family and her big sister feels like she won a contest...apparently her prayers are stronger than her older brother's (c;

In other news (the not-so-big news), Mother's Day was a success and my vote is to have it every Sunday, what do you think??? I even got to dress up like an adult #majorscore

And since I just really can't pass up a chance to do a Friday's Fancies post (especially when it's about *stripes*!), I'll throw in this little diddy about what I want to be wearing:

Thank the powers that be, it's the weekend!!! This one has been a booty-kicker (aren't they all???).

I'm totally ready to kick it in some laid back duds...with a cold drink in my hand and nothing to do but sit pool side (c;

So reality check, *that* (see above daydream) is not happening, but kickin' it chillaxin' style is TOTALLY happening.

And to top it all off, this year we'll also be finding out if we're having a wee princess or wee prince joining our family.
