I love decorating for halloween. Lately I have seen several cute halloween banners and decided I needed to make one for my house. I used this really great card stock that has one color on the top (orange) and another coordinating color in the core (lighter shade of orange). I have been wanting to try glass etching for a while. This is my first attempt and I think it turned out pretty good. I used my Cricut to cut out 2 designs from vinyl. The picture above shows the software I use to help layout my Cricut designs.After the vinyl was cut I placed it on the parfait cups. How cute are these lap desks!!! I have made several as birthday presents for my daughters friends. They are so easy to personalize with the Cricut. First you cut the background design out of vinyl and then cut the name out of a contrasting color and that's it.
