As some of you may know I really dislike foamy cleansers and have for many years but did not know exactly why I hated them so much, OK so I knew that they were drying the heck out of my face but I just thought it was normal and that's what a "clean face" should feel like.

HOW WRONG I WAS!

In the past 3 years I have been hooked on Alpha-H skincare, it was great, worked for my skin, hydrated me and best of all they made cleansers that did not FOAM. I did a mini haul/review of some of their products the link for that is here.

However as much as I loved them I was reaching a point where I needed something cheaper since I stopped working as the uni work load increased.

So when my Alpha-H cleanser finished I went to Boots to see if they had anything that was similar to my non foaming cleanser ( I have dry/normal skin) and as I browsed I saw "Good Things".

This is what they are basically about:

So I bought the creamy cleanser and the exfoliator, and both smell amazing, they are packed with ingredients like "blueberries,goji berries", lots of other things which you can see on their website .

What do I think?

Three months on so far so good I do not use the exfoliator as much because I have been incorporating a muslin cloth in the cleansing part but when I feel my skin needs a little work when haven't been wearing make up I use it.

They cost around £4.99 which is defiantly a good price to me and I will be purchasing them again.

I really love Kim Kardashian, mainly because I "like" to think we look alike and I just love what she wears and what she wears tends to suit me since we have similar bodies, skin tone etc.

So when I saw photos of Kim wearing a head scarf, face veil and abaya I was so excited ! I dont wear the face veil but I do cover my hair and I found it really sweet to see her wear it. Especially how she made it look cool and not a freakish thing like the media portrays it and I really did not like it when Dailymail.co.uk added the words "Please don't!" to the thumbnail as if she was doing something bizarre!

Some people may say she is just trying really hard to fit in and make investors and corporate people happy or whatever, but still I thought it was nice and it suited her KUDOS! KIM

Guerlain Terra Inca

This is a well overdue post about my new love....Guerlain Terracotta Inca a beautiful "sheeny" bronzing powder that can be used on face and body.
Its a powder with an extraordinary texture (it feels like cream) and applies like a dream!
I have been using it everyday since I got it which was in Ramadan(august) time, I do feel it will last along time since it is rather big.

It gives a sheen to whatever it touches I can't describe the colour its not brown or orange or golden, but more of a nude/brown/pink with a gold center in the middle, it last a long time even when I scratch my cheek.

The packaging is nice too, a wooden case that fixes together with a magnet that is a nice feature but can be sometimes annoying. I do like that it looks rather grand and doesn't look grubby like the shiny compacts.

This is my first Guerlain product that I have ever bought and I'm not sure what I think of their products I guess when my powders and foundations run out I can venture into their brand even more but until then I am happy with this glamorous bronzer.

I recommend every girl who wants to treat her self to this beautiful product you will not be disappointed :)

Luxury eyes.....

I just cannot get enough of Chanel! Their luxury pieces that cost a aloooot are pretty, classic and timeless!

Who doesn't want a Chanel bag? Unfortunately they are mere dreams to many of us but that doesn't stop us indulging in their beautiful eyeshadow quads right?

I was actually surprised about this quad I had played with many of my cousins quads before, because I never really used to lug over my makeup with me because I had developed my favorites from her collection since we used to share makeup and nearly every time I went I would do her makeup.

As I was saying the previous quads I used were not that pigmented, not that finely milled and not that buttery.I was excited to see this new addition "Quadra eye shadow 14 Mystic eyes" and was taken away! I took it out and placed my ring finger in one of the colours and I was in eyeshadow dreams! This is what a Chanel eyeshadow should feel like :)

Pigmentation: CHECK!
Finely milled: OH YES!
Creasing level: EXTREMELY LOW!

When I get a chance to buy this quad I most certainly will I am waiting to finish up a few quads to make space for this baby, but I may have to wait longer since I may need to buy the Vitalumier powder which needs a whole other post too!

I really hope I get to buy one soon because they really are beautiful!

Hey guys I was browsing through hm.com and I came across this I have tired H&M's make-up before and I do like it, my first eyeliner was from there. It was called "dipliner" I miss it :(.

Anyhoo I have been looking for a cheap combo of matt grey eyeshadows and although the description says shimmering I can see that it is a matt finish. I have yet to see it in store but its one thing I will look for next time I go :)

I always go through craves of wanting stuff or liking a trend that I can pull off or one that actually is nice, especially if they fit onto my dress code of "modest".

At the moment I am really loving the slouchy, chunky, loose Knitwear trend its all over the place I actually did indeed invest in some a few days ago at H&M and I will be posting about it soon.

I must say though that this is possible the most universal trend around, it is so easy to wear and you look chic and relaxed without looking like a total tramp if you do it properly, I could even imagine wearing these pieces with full length skirt.

Overdue eid post

My favourite concealer and corrector combo

To me concealer and Corrector are the most important items of makeup a girl should have, unless you have naturally flawless skin then you don't need to read this :)

I, like many suffer from dark circles under my eyes this is partly genetic since under my eyes naturally lean inside and on bad days look very bad!

In a previous post I featured this "Prep and Prime" under eye corrector thinking it was going to be my "Touche Eclat" but it was orange and so wrong, but it ended up being one of my everyday routines for this summer since orange is good for reducing "ashyness" or when you wear concealer but it looks grey and still doesn't cover it up :(

I usually use my Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer but for everyday its just too much and especially for the summer.

I also feel like the creaminess is a little ageing after a while and since I have been going out nearly every night I need something that will not crease and look rather "eeew" later on.

"MAC prep and prime in Bright Forcast" and "Bourjois Healthy mix concealer in 52 Medium Eclat"

I discovered the healthy mix concealer when YT guru Anna Saccone showed it in her videos so I thought to check it out and I was hesitant at first because it was a drugstore product but sure enough I love it so much I use it everyday it brightens and lightens under my eyes so well I look different!

It does not crease or cake or give dehydration lines and looks perfect all the time you wear it! The texture is brilinant too, very blendable creamy and opaque .

So here we have a few of the desserts I ate in July I love deserts of all shapes and sizes and I love trying new ones I crave them during the day so that's why im posting this now :) .

when you want chocolate but you have a wedding to go to this is what you should eat!

When your at Cappacino in Westfeild this is what you should order.........YUM!

Cupcakes for my birthday in July these were from the "Love Bakery" in Chelsea its also the one they have in "Made in Chelsea" my friend told me

CAKEPOPS! I LOVE THESE!

As you can see I did enjoy my self a bit but never the less I was careful and did not overdo it .

On to the Stuff:

Again as I was at my cousins house I was rummaging through her stuff since I was bored and I found these I actually did not have much make-up with me things like blush and lip products I forgot at home so I was using these for a few days and I really liked them.

I loves this blush my Chanel I forgot to take the name but it is a light peachy pink perfect and soft barely there but gives a wonderful look you can't go wrong with Chanel.

I also tried Hue lipstick from mac its very Kim K but if you wear it without lip gloss it can be a little chalky I still like it and I may purchase it in the future .

Lastly I wore this bright red nail polish its so nice the colour is beautiful and is really opaque you only need one coat I applied 2 coats just in case and this was the 5th day.

I do have one problem with it though, I actually put this on in the night and the following morning I found bed prints on my nails :( I haven't tried H&M nail polish before but they worth a try they also have amazing shine no base coat or top coat.

Hey guys long time no blog! I know I say it every time I stay away from my blog for ages, but I guess my life is just so busy these days I forget to blog I end up taking pics of everything I want to blog about and end up remembering when im in bed ready to sleep :( .

So I am waiting to eat suhur now in case you guys didn't know its Ramadan and I have been fasting for the past 13 days going on 14 and I love Ramadan so much its such a blessed month and I spend alot of time praying and asking for forgiveness and so forth its already half the month now and it went so fast!

Anyway on to the post, in July I went to Accessorize's sale and they had this really beautiful chunky necklace and I just had to have it was on sale for about £7 and I was so happy since it was about £15 and even though that was still a good price for what it has its FULL with beads! and just looks so amazing. Unfortunately for me I went to counter to discover that it was broken so I still took it and got a little discount off it and got it for £6 YAY!

I thought to my self "just fix it your self with a bit of super glue and it will look good!" I ended up wearing it the following day all day and not a bead moved!

I love the Chanel style chains around it!

I just love it so much its so pretty so glamorous and so me! I love the colours I love the warm feel they have and the combo of brown cold and cream just seem so nice they would suit every season.

When I saw it I straight away thought it would be a great piece for days when you don't know what to wear throw on anything plain and you look like you made an effort when you REALLY did not!

Bright lips for summer

So as we all know everyone is trying to wear the oh so trendy bright lip, I'm a bit of a fan if you get the right colours but I really dislike it when people with olive or yellow based tones like my self try to pull of purple or cool toned lips.

I really think its just so ugly so awful and I know there are no rules in makeup but to me its just makes these skin tones look theor worst and in some cases greenish!

Here I was playing with my YSL Rouge pur Couture which I got as a gift and stupidly forgot to blog about, I love the texture of them and the fnish I have tired other colours before I think the No.6 it was a beautiful nude colour that took me ages to et over lol but there is such a thing as too many lipsticks in my opinion so I left it.

Between these two I love the coral red one but im sorry to say I really dislike the pink colour it just looks silly on me and I feel like it would suit someone very pale and blond. It looks so tacky on me I refuse to wear it further so I decided to give it to one of my blond friends lol.

However I had more time to play with these so I took a few swatches to show you guys what they look like I am really impressed and they last a really long time I would love a scarlet red colour as I think it would fade very nicely.

I love the packaging the feeling on as they glide, I love the scent its not at all overpowering I can almost not sense it but I remember Christine from Temptalia.com saying they had a Mango scent.

I really think you guys should give them a go you most definitely love them since there are a wide range of colours.

Discovering Victoria's Secret

Hey guys I know I have been soooo MIA but that's how life goes lol, I have been trying a few new things though and from you can tell by the title of this post its all about Victoria's Secret I actually really love their products and I don't mean clothing and lingerie I mean body lotions and body sprays etc.

I actually don't own anything from there but my cousin has loads and I have been staying over at her place a few times this these past two months and I have been using her stuff lol yay!

I just can't get enough of them especially the love spell stuff! OMG they are amazing I love the idea of fragranced lotions and body sprays I find they sometimes last longer than perfumes they also have a lighter fresher feel to them which I love for summer.

One of my favourite things to do is try to prolong my fragrance so by using a lotion followed by a body spray or shower gel before you get to keep your favourite smell for a long time. I know other brands like the Body shop have a similar approach but not in the same scale as Victoria's Secret I love the neroli jasmin collection but they don't come in big sizes like VS also the lotions smell a little "plasticky" and not that nice I would love to see a VS in Westfeild or Oxford street they would do really well here.

Has anyone else tried Victoria's Secret stuff yet?

So I have been enjoying a few products some more recent and others a few months now I was a bit naughty this year and have been a little lazy when applying sun screen :( not that I like to tan I don't think it suits me very much the last time I tanned when I went fishing I looked ten years older but since my mum is a few shades darker than me I have a natural olive skin tone which I enhance with a few products which needs a post of its own.

But I recently bought this sunscreen that is available from QVC and Waitrose I really love the texture of it I used to use my Alpha-H spf 30 but I felt like it was too thick especially to wear under makeup.

I bought it for £19 from waitrose and I know its a bit pricey I feel like such an idiot because my mum told me that the day before I bought it QVC had a TSV "Today's Special Value" on it where you could get a bundle for £24 but I guess it wasn't meant to be :(

I would recommend this under makeup I apply it with a foundation brush to ensure I get a well covered matrix then I apply my foundation or nothing it just depends on what im doing that day.

One product I have been using for a few months is this amazing deodorant by L'occitan and the funny thing is that it belongs to my DAD lol

I know I know you guys must be thinking what! Well my mum got this for my dad to use but he never did, he tried it once but I guess it didn't do anything for him, but on me it was great! I was running out of my own Bodyshop deodorant and I saw this in my mums room so just took it and I have been using everyday since then, but I must tell you it does have a strong mens smell but I never wear short sleeves and I never ever smell it on me after I put my clothes on so its a winner!

Oh did I mention its Aluminium free and Alcohol free yay!

I also love this hand salve my Keihl's but not for my hands but for my KNEES yes my knees! I suffer from very dry and a little ashy knees and no matter what I tired NOTHING works and then one day I found this at the bottom of my draw and thought to my self "hey this might help" and OMG it left my knees amazing, I used it twice so far but due to me being so busy all the time it slips my mind to apply it but when I do its lasts all day and during the night doesn't slip off onto the sheets rather you feel it still on the next day!

And finally one product that I really enjoy using, Garnier Alcohol free makeup remover, I love this more than the Bodyshop eye makeup remover since that stings if it gets into my eyes and it leaves a sticky residue on my skin eww.

I like because it removes every inch of makeup on my face in minutes no rubbing required but make sure you shake it before you use it otherwise you will only get the oil part of it which isn't very pleasant, but when mixed properly its refreshing and totally non sticky :)

The perfect lipstick

What is really funny about me is that once upon a time I really despised lipsticks I hated the smell of them the feeling of it on me and god forbid it comes in contact with the internal parts of my mouth it would have been a catastrophe!
But I guess my love of makeup wasn't complete unless I had lip products it wasn't just lipsticks it was anything on my lips even lipgloss or lip balm and the I still till this day have to remove every aspect of the lip product I am wearing before I eat which is such a hassle because I always have to have some sort of baby wipes with me at all times.

However I can't deny that without a lip product your make-up is just not complete whether its a barely there colour or a bright in your face pink its the miracle product.

I know some people say that concealer is the most important cosmetic anyone should have but in some cases people just need the right lip colour.

So onto my latest lip love! THE ICONIC SHY GIRL lipstick!

Ok so some of you may be thinking what? Iconic....UM yh if you don't know "shy girl" lipstick you have been under a rock! Nearly everyone owns Shy girl its a lovely Pink peach combo with a creamsheen finish. What is CREAMSHEEN???? well its a type of finish that MAC have, its described as a smooth creamy, and sheer finish that gives a slight muted gloss too.

I love this so much I use it every time I decide to wear a lip product, for me its the perfect nude, not too washed out and not too much colour.

BTW I actually got this by taking 6 empty containers to MAC and getting this for free I was initially going to get "Crosswires" from mac but then I remembered that I was wanting shy girl for a while.

I still tried on "Crosswires" though but on my pigmented lips this is how it looked on me.....way too much I think but never the less very pretty :)

Hey guys I know I have been slow on the blogging but I have a hectic life and I guess its better than not having one I went to my grandmas house a few days ago without my laptop I felt like I was in some Amish town I only had my phone and my uncle got a new wireless hub and it just wants working!

And since they get someone to iron and clean the house I did not have much to do besides help my grandma with a few things and read books haha but when I came home I felt better lol.

anyway on to the goodies I got a new bag from Aldo what can I say I love that place its so chic and I always love what I get from there they are on the pricy side so I don't go as much I would like to lol.

But I snapped this little cutie when I was passing by and it was on SALE! and there was a further 30% reduction so I got it for about £13 from £30.

Randomness in my life

I felt like doing a random post :)

I love food a quiet alot! I thought it would be nice to show you guys what I consumed......

Although before I show you I thought I might add a photo of my nails I have been really loving the free Nails Inc polish in Electric teal.

Ok on to the food!

Home made Chinese food yumm!

Something I ate from an Indian food place

a traditional arabic dish called "maqloubeh" which means upside down they cook the rice meat and veggies in layers and then topple in upside down like so on a serving dish

Salad to go with it :)

and finally oven cooked chicken with sweet potato and salad

And speaking of food I decided to try out the DIY Onion hair mask which basically consists of putting onion juice on your hair as it is supposed to increase hair growth over time, I have to say I only did it only once and im still debating with my self as to whether to do it again or not its been 2 weeks and 5 washes and I can still smell the onion in my hair :(

I actually used onion pulp as I didn't want to put an onion down our juicer my mum wouldn't be happy :D

I left it for for 4 hours then washed my hair as normal

Has anyone tried the onion hair mask im told that yogurt is also good too but I have yet to try it maybe I will do it later and see how it goes

Drugstore discovery......

Sooooo I was bored I had to wait for a friend to finish up her shopping so I decided to "wait" in Superdrug, Now I usually scan the make-up aisle every now and then since I used to work at Superdrug I still like to see what has changed and what offers are on and if the brands have added anything new.

Somehow I actually managed to buy 2 products I never thought I would, im not a snob but I always felt like drug store products were "bad" and would do something crazy to me however Revlon was different I knew the mascaras were crap ages ago because I used to laugh at how pathetic they were but I read a review on Temptalia.com where she reviewed the strawberry lipgloss and funnily enough I actually bought it without even remembering that I read that post!

Anyhoo the idea of a bright lipgloss really pulled me in I don't really own anything bright mainly because I can't see my self wearing it everyday but this was subtle not a mad in your face red I have a red lip liner from MAC in "Redd" and I thought this would go amazingly with it.

I really like the texture of Revlon colour burst its well pigmented but not too sticky, however the colour will look different from person to person, the lighter your natural lip colour the lighter the colour pigmented lips would give a red effect.

I also wanted to get a nude one but they didn't have it :( so I decided to look at the Bourjois collection I had played with their lipglosses before I liked how thin it was since I would already be wearing a nude lipstick underneath I did not want that goopy look eww but I love the way it looks gives a nice shine and a pink tinge to the nude lipstick I am wearing Peachstock lipsrick by MAC and 3D gloss in 33 Bourjois.

Here it looks abit on the brown side stupid lighting couldn't get it right! the other photos show its true colour phew!

Ok so the formula is more sheer so pigmented lips will feel it looks ashy or a little weird however it is the perfect type of consistency to layer over lipstick

Perfect warm nude not too white and not too brown! very Kim K actually :)

Summer is upon us and I will say so since today is soooo HOT! but I'm not complaining it makes me feel happy and energetic!

Ever since the sun has been shining I have been wearing this ensemble of jewelery I rarely if ever wear any in winter or June because I'm a coat or something :(

But these pieces reflect my mood so well they speak elegance, freshness and a little bit of glamour.I love mixing and matching my jewelry too its just looks more unique more personal I hate seeing the same jewelery on everyone it loses what accessory are supposed to represent.

The Gold bracelet is a gold bracelet I got as a present from my grandma :).The green bracelet with hearts is a Lola rose bracelet that my mum got me I am not sure if its still available but they Lola Rose at Harrods.

The pink fabric bracelet is a gift that came with my Chanel perfume it was from a dear friend so I like to wear it too.
I also good out these earrings that I had for a while they aren't real though do you believe that they are from Next? I think they are so elegant but not overpowering and would nice with a soft updo :)

A few favourites of the present

So I have been digging deep in my make-up pile these few weeks trying to be different and wear some of the things that really caught my eye when I first saw them.

I have gone off buying make-up since there isnt anything that new I did buy a few things from MAC a few weeks ago but they were very different new things from I usually have.

Eyes

Purple love

I actually hated this palette when I got it the colour pay off was rubbish and I just didn't know what to do with it but the dark purple is great for smoky eyes and darkening the outer corner the colour right next to it is a nice pop of colour if you add it to a neutral look .

I used the top right shimmery lilac coloured eyeshadow and my Barry M Dazzle dust in #59 to make a nice spring look here is a pick of it before eye-liner and mascara.

I like how subtle it is you could wear it like this on its own especially if you have hooded lids it would give a nice pop of colour when you blink :)

Face

Another favourite is of course from Chanel I have a deep love for their make-up although I often have to restrain my self from buying too much ! my Birthday is coming up soon so I might add a little to my collection who knows :)

I have had this beauty for ages you can see its only now starting to hit pan, this was once the only blush I owned I wore it everyday before I ventured into other colours and brands I still love it it almost is the most perfect colour for my skin tone I don't think they sell it any more.

It's very much a rose pink the texture isn't matt but rather looks nice on skin and gives it a natural finish. Below is the free powder i got with my Chanel Vita Lumier when I bought it its a great powder doesn't dry my skin out but I still prefer to set my foundation on hot days with my bare minerals. I just have this in my bag to powder my face in the afternoon .

I love it !

I actually didn't do a haul or anything when I bought this because I was still in my exam period and did not want to get distracted with blogging I will give it a separate post but it is one of my favourites.

MAC Haul :)

Hey everyone I got a few things from the Quite Cute collection from MAC Nothing really appealed to me in terms of eyeshadows or blushes but I really wanted to get the "In Synch" Lipliner the colour is this perfect bright barbie pink but rather has yellow tones which is perfect for me since I am on the yellow olive side :).

I also picked up the "Haute and Naughty Lash" mascara which is my first mascara from MAC and I do actually like it I think in some ways they are better the formula is more forgiving to your lashes and its less dry than my usual L'oreal mascara.

I find my self changing between the plastic comb types and the synthetic brush types and this time I am really loving this mascara. The only downfall with this is that at around 5 it flakes a tiny bit but what doesn't ?

Along with that lot I got the prep and prime highlighter in the orange tint which I wish I got in the yellow but I felt that the yellow one would look too ashy in me as it was very light on Temptalia's website so I thought id go with that orange based one.

Now I will say it does "Neutralise" dark circles but you cannot wear this alone if you pile it on I have worn it on its own when I was in a rush but you can only apply it on those dark areas otherwise you have this orange tint on your face.

Lastly I bought a new 210 liner brush since I could not find mine at all! However somehow AFTER I bought the replacement I found the old one! but im not too sad its good to have 2 of these brushes :)

I actually feel a little tempted to buy the "Something special" Creamblend blush

Yes you guest it today is going to be all about Neals yard! This post is more of a skin care post since most of the products I use these days are from Neal's Yard.

I just love their products everything works for me my skin is actually moisturised and my make-up goes on well and what makes me know its working is that when I stop you I can see the difference in the texture of my skin.

I also don't get that glycerine feeling when I wakeup the nest day to wash my face its fantastic!

WARNING THIS IS A LONG POST!

OK so my first love is the "Beauty Sleep Concentrate", this is a wonderful serum that works at night feels amazing to put on and dries quickly it claims to leave your skin 98% more moisturised and I do feel a big difference in the morning, sometimes I don't even use my Orange flower facial oil or a cream and it does a good job!

I was also given a few samples to try at the store because I was supposed to get something free but they were out of stock and current 2 favourites are the "Frankincense Hydrating cream" and the "Orange Flower Night cream".

I Love how the Frankincense feels as I apply it, so smooth and does really work I always wakeup with my skin feeling soft :)

I got this free on another purchase since my sister bought a few things for her friends new baby but my mum really loves the smell of this so I intend on giving it to her

A nice sized bottle smells a little funny to me but my mum likes it she used to have a Geranium plant which I also hated lol .

Has anyone else been enjoying Neal's Yard as much as me ?

Hey everyone so recently I checked out the free stuff available in the mags this week and to my surprise it was pretty good I ended up getting a free Nails Inc nail polish and a handy bag from Cath Kidtston I never usually go for the free items in magazines but these weren't to me missed!

I especially love the bag because I always find my self needing a carrier bag of some sort for my extra books papers or whatever I buy :

A more chic alternative to the carrier bag :)

Nail polish is a deep teal colour I think its nice for summer a pop of colour without being too in your face right?

So im back blogging! yay i CAN FINALLY BLOG MY LIST OF POSTS TO DO!

Ugh its been too long and the worst part is that I was actually using up alot of stuff and makeup bought a few things too which might be a little late on here, but I guess better late than never right?

As you can guess today's post is about primers :) yay! which I think are one of the most important products you will ever need if you wear eye make-up.

I know some make-up artists say you can skip it if you have dry eye lids but I think not. WHY! I hear you say..

Well:

If you have a hooded lid then most likely you will get your eyeshadows or even foundation crease all over it and its not a good look AT ALL!
If you have oily lids but are not hooded then the same will still occur (btw I do not have oily lids but still feel the need to apply a primer despite not having a hooded lid).
Even if you do not have any of the above, you still need something to give you a good long lasting base I have found that wearing nothing on dry lids makes my eyeshadow look very faded and doesn't show up well.

So here are the primers I use and I do actually use them all since they all work very well but do different things.

MAC Paint pot (Bare study)

I have had this for yonks!! and I still use it to be clear about 2 years and it has yet to disapoint me, although when I bought it I did not know what it actually was just that it was a cream eyeshadow, later on I found out that it can be used as a base for eyeshadow to intensify the colour :) so about 3 weeks later I bought 2 other ones Groundwork and Girl freindly.

I describe the colour as a golden pink beige with some shimmer and looks lovely on the lid on its own or with eyeshadow.

SmashBox Photo finish lid primer

I bought this in the summer and I really liked the fact that it was a skin tone colour because I occasionally like to wear a plane light eyeshadow bur need something to even out my lids and as I mentioned before foundation would just crease.The lasting finish feels smooth and velvety.

A nice concealer like primer that can be used alone to even out lids.

MAC Paint (Bare Canvas)

As the name precies it to be it does look like a paint tube but isnt like paint at all its pretty much a long lasting cream eyeshadow, similar to the paint pots but with better performance. I bought this for the same reason as the smashbox but it lasts so much longer but not as opaque as the smashbox primer.

Urban Decay Primer potion (Original)

This is the latest edition to my primers collection however I didn't buy it, it came with my naked palette and I only used it recently because I forgot about it :) oops! This primer is clear and long lasting too looks white when it comes out but as you spread it, the colour fades to nothing and leaves a silicone velvet finish to the lids.

Philosophy: The present "Clear make-up"

Its raining right now and im actually enjoying it, I wish I cud go out and wear my wedge boots from Aldo, I really love them the perfect shoe to wear in the rain.

However today is not about my shoes its about a product that I never thought I would use, this post is about a product that is pretty good as you can see from the title of this post its from philosophy. I got this as part of a package my mum had got from QVC but she gave me this because I wear make-up more than her and thought I would benefit from it.

I actually didn't know what it was for it claimed to be clear make-up but it really means is that it minimises the effect of pores and smooths out the texture. and can be worn after your moisturiser and before your make-up.

Obviously to me it sounds like a face primer, I do remember seeing the make-up artist using it on a model on QVC and saying it can be worn alone which it states on the tube.

On its own its pretty good you could almost say it mattifies the skin and as a result looks more even, I don't feel it to be drying though which is good because as soon as anything makes my skin feel dry I hate it FULL STOP.

Under foundation its really is good my foundation lasted all day but slightly took away from the dewiness of my foundation which I didn't mind too much but I don't set my face with any powder so it was OK.

My overall thoughts

The texture of this product is very nice it is so smooth to apply, and you can tell its formed a matrix around your face and will hold the foundation well, I did also find that my foundation went a long way when I applied it so that is a definite plus.

I like this as a primer but I don't really suffer from open pores that much to use on its own but if I know I will be out all day and especially in the current heat then I definitely use it, and I can be assured that my make-up inst moving around and my face isn't patchy.
