In order to give this car a jump, Gumpert gave it a powerful 4.2 liter bi-turbo eight-cylinder engine, with a 750 Hp. the aerodynamics had to be improved so Gumpert had to install extended monocopue, and larger adjustment of pedal space. If it was a chose between the Lamborghini Aventador and the Gumpert Apollo, which one would you chose.

At its official launch it cost $2.4 million. with its competition of the SSC Tuatara, Bugatti has to make a better yet faster car, because with a top speed of 257 mph, car manufactures are trying to bet its record.

Mclaren is making its way back in the sports car racing. The new 12C GT3 car is based on the engine of the original 12C. it is being built on the McLaren MonoCell carbon chassis, which makes it weigh just 75Kg. This car was specically made for racing and is not street legal. But the racing version will cost an estimated $450,000. McLaren will be making a limited of this, but their talking about taking out the street legal version, which will cost more then $500,000. Under the hood is the same engine as the original 12C, with a twin-turbo charged v8 engine. the transmission will have a 7-speed SSG dual-clutch Graziano, operateed by a bespoke paddle-shift system developed specifically for racing. The racing version will also include a better brake system and a better suspension.

As it might not bet the Bugatti, it is lighter and nimbler.

Its V8 engine has a capacity of reaching 275MPH, with 1350 horsepower. For those who say that Americans dont have one good exotic sports car, Shelby will be showing them what thier capable of. Production for this car will take place in Richland, Washington in Shelby's home base. There is no information on how many Shelby will make but, it might look like they will be making only a slightly small amount with a moderate price tag.

While the bugatti was busy making world records, transtar was busy making the new 2011 TranStar Dagger GT. When this car came out, it hit the Guinness Book of World Records with a new top speed of 300 MPH plus, and Bugatti will have to make a new veyron super sport, because, it has some new competition. Bugatti will have some problems not just because of the speed but the 2000 horsepower-aluminium, twin turbo 572 multifuel racing engine, built by Nelson Racing Engine. It can go 0-60 MPH in about 1.5 seconds and can run a quarter mile in 6.7 seconds. It will be sold at $450,000, plus custom work. not only is this car faster then the Bugatti but it is cheaper. Only five cars were built in the middle of summer and, after the first five are sold, TranStar racing will build ten more cars in 2012. The only Problem TranStar racing has is it will be only 49 state street legal. this car has the potential to break some or maybe all the land-speed record set to be on production cars.
