Gospel singer Marvin Sapp had lost his wife Malinda Sapp to colon cancer. Malinda died this morning of colon cancer complication. Marvin and Malinda have been married for 15 years. Marvin Sapp is a Pastor and a well known gospel singer with hits in 2007 like "Never Would've Made It". Marvin and Malinda have 3 children.

Our condolences to Marvin and the whole Sapp family.

LFO singer Rich Cronin dies at 35

LFO singer Rich Cronin died Wednesday because of Leukemia. He was first diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005. He founded Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to spread awareness for cancer treatment.

In his Twitter account,"On behalf of the Cronin family and all at the Hope Foundation and [his record label] Orange Freeze, thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts. Continue to post them as a tribute to a great man, a better artist and the best friend I could ever have." Confirmed by his manager Melissa Holland.

LFO is known for their hit songs like Girl on TV and Summer Girls.

Is Jennifer Aniston in the dating scene again? Most likely. Brad Pitt's ex-wife is rumored to have been seeing Chris Gartin. Jen and Chris were caught by the paparazzi having dinner at Madeo in West Hollywood from 7PM to 10PM. Fellow diners said that it looks like they are on a date.

Good thing that the adult link in the Services section of Craigslist is now replaced with an unclickable black and white word "censored" while the one in the Gig section is now removed.

Craigslist is a great place for freelancers looking for small time projects and for businesses to advertise their products and services. But I think that Craigslist site with its free ad space has been abused by perverts all through out the USA because lots of prostitution is happening in the adult section.

This is such a bad news for girls posting their web cam erotic services and for men who lure students and offer them to pay their bills. Let us just hope that all the other sites would follow to reduced sex crimes.

Fans from different countries mourn his death last June 25, 2009 and today August 29, fans will celebrate his birthday. Even though he is no more, his music still lives on.

A Typical Filipino Family

A typical family in the Philippines living under one roof is composed of the parents, which is a mother and a father, children and a lot of times we have this so-called extended family where the grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins, live together with you.

The mother stays at home and takes care of the children and it is the father who earns a living but nowadays where the economy is so down and prices of basic commodities are up, even sending your children to school seems so unaffordable, the mother who is usually stays at home have to work also to help her husband with their livelihood. Since there are instances that grandparents or other relatives live with you, parents have to work double time to include the extended family in the budget. Filipinos are very family oriented so we don't mind if our relatives stays with us for a few months and even for years.

Here in the Philippines we have issues of unemployment so it is very common that one or even both parents are working abroad to receive a much bigger salary compared to working locally where the earnings is so minimal. Some mothers work as domestic helpers in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the USA. The fathers also will work as Engineers, Construction workers, Seaman, Cook, Baker in countries like Dubai, Canada, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Nurses and Caregivers also are the most in-demand jobs where a large percentage of Filipinos are employed abroad.

When parents worked abroad, it is the grandparents or the aunties who would take care of the children. I wonder what is the typical family set up in other races.

Bank of America online banking have some problems today. Depositors cannot access their accounts online because their site is down and they are not only offline for Maryland, California and Michigan even from other states also. Different tweets about Bank of America are sprouting like mushrooms every minute in Twitter ranting about the current situation.

I tried to access the site 10 minutes ago, it looks okay but when I did it again just a minute had passed, their site is still not accessible. I learned that Bank of America online banking has been down for 4 hours now and they are doing everything to restore their site.

Latest Update: Twitterer BofA_help who I believed is working at Bank of America tweets that the problem has been resolved now.

The announcement of its new dancing celebrities will be on Monday, August 30 but as of this time stars like Bristol Palin and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino of Jersey Shore are rumored to be part of the cast. Brandy, David Hasselhoff and Audrina Partridge are reportedly will be joining also with the show.

DWTS is on its 11th season this fall.

The Miss Universe 2010 title goes to Miss Mexico, 22-year-old Jimena Navarette. Miss Mexico stand out as the most beautiful woman in the universe among the 82 beauty queens from different countries all over the globe. Miss Jamaica Yendi Philipps is first runner up and Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell is second.

Miss Philippines Venus Raj is no. 4 among the top 5 candidates and many said that she is neck to neck with Miss Mexico in the scoring until that question and answer portion.

When asked by actor William Baldwin about: “What is one big mistake that you made in your life and what did you do to make it right? Miss Philippines who is obviously very nervous answered with: “Thank you so much sir for that wonderful question. Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Good evening Las Vegas. You know what sir, in my 22 years of existence, I can say there is nothing major major, I mean problem that I have done in my life because I am very confident with my family with the love that they are giving to me so thank you so much that I am here. Miss Universe 2010 is happening tonight in Las Vegas. Many are anticipating who will be crowned as Miss Universe 2010. Among the 83 contestants Miss Philippines, Miss Bolivia and Miss Venezuela are the media favorites.

Tonight's contest will be the 59th edition of Miss Universe. The show will be held at Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas to be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.

Miss Universe 2010 will have a live telecast by NBC at 9/8 Central time.

Michael J. Fox to star on The Good Wife

Actor Michael J. Fox is set to return to acting to portray a role in the second season of the U.S. drama series The Good Wife.

Fox has Parkinson's disease which made him absent from acting for long though he had occasionally guested to shows like "The Practice, "Scrubs", and "Rescue Me".

In The Good Wife he will play Simon Canning a lawyer who will use any means to win his case. "We're absolutely thrilled that Michael has agreed to play this role," says show creators Robert and Michelle King.

The second season of The Good Wife will have its premiere showing on September 28.

The weather is gloomy today. From my window, I can see how happy the flowers are as they had enjoyed the rain last night. A cup of not so hot coffee with milk would complement the weather.

While browsing news over the web, a photo of President Obama swims with daughter Sasha off Alligator Point in Panama City Beach, Florida enticed me to read it. The 49-year old president really looks fit and healthy. I guess he just wants to show that the water is already clean after gallons of oil had spilled about four months ago.

Another issue that's being talk about is the shirtless photos of him, the last time he went to Hawaii. It became covers of newspapers and magazines.

Hmmm..I think he's body reflects a healthy lifestyle. He is in very good form. It's okay to swim shirtless, it's more awkward if he'll swim with shirts on.

This blog's theme should be about coffee and i wonder why I made this when I am not a coffee drinker at all. Coffee is the last on my list when it comes to beverages. I prefer hot chocolate, soda, ice tea over coffee.
