Kamalahar is enriched with various herbs proven to be very effective for the treatment of liver problems. It has Tecoma undulata, Phyllanthus urinaria, Embelia ribes, Taraxacum officinale, Nyctanthes arbortritis and Terminalia arjuna.

Tecoma undulata is an herb which is proven to have medicinal property that helps in curing liver diseases especially for the treatment of hepatitis. It is also used in curing urinary disorders, enlargement of spleen, gonorrhea and leucoderma. Seeds are used against abscess.

Phyllanthus urinaria has been used for centuries to promote healthy elimination of gallstones and kidney stones. It is also used for the treatment of liver disease especially hepatitis B. Phyllanthus urinaria primarily contains lignans (e.g. phyllanthine and hypophyllanthine), gallic acid, alkaloids, and bioflavonoids (e.g. quercetin). While it remains unknown as to which of these substances has an antiviral effect, researchers believe that this herb acts primarily on the liver. Other research has revealed other possible benefits like helping to soothe the liver, detoxification of the liver and kidneys, relief from pain and inflammation, reducing oxidative stress, and an ability to inhibit hepatitis B virus DNA replication. It is believed that the possible benefit that phyllanthus urinaria provides in cases of liver damage could be due to the plants anti-viral activity. In Ayurvedic medicine, Phyllanthus has been used for over 2000 years in India for many medicinal uses for those with liver disease including hepatitis.

Embelia ribes is quite beneficial in the treatment of liver ailments especially jaundice and also for strengthening the body. It also helps with gastric problem by either preventing formation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract or facilitates the expulsion of gas. It is also quite useful against tape-worms. It is believed to be useful against skin diseases, bronchitis, urinary discharges, Dyspepsia, hemicrania, worms in wounds etc.

Taraxacum officinale is believed to have a medicinal value, in particular against liver problems. It is also known to be a Diuretic and quite beneficial in the treatment of liver cirrhosis. It is also used in herbal medicines as a mild laxative, for increasing appetite, and for improving digestion. The milky latex has been used as a mosquito repellent and as a folk remedy to treat warts.

Nyctanthes arbortritis is known for its important place in Hindu mythology and this plant has many common names like Indian Night Jasmine. The flower, seeds and leaves of the plant are diuretic, antibacterial, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, immunopotential, anti pyretic, antioxidant, anti fungal, anti-bilious, sedative and antifilarial. It is useful in the treatment of many diseases including liver disorder. Its extract has proven by researchers to have significant hepatoprotective activity, which is ability to prevent damage to the liver and also hepatoregenerative. The herb in combination with other herbs is quite beneficial in the treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis, alcohol liver diseases and other liver disorders. Apart from liver disorder, the herb has been used in the treatment of affections of scalp, rheumatic joint pain, malaria, snakebite, bronchitis, sciatica, chronic fever, rheumatism, internal worm infections, high blood pressure, diabetes, piles and skin diseases. Some people have also used the herb in the treatment of cancer.

Terminalia arjuna is high in co-enzyme Q-10 and helps in the treatment of cirrhosis of liver and reduces blood pressure. The arjuna was introduced into Ayurveda as a treatment for heart disease by Vagbhata. It is traditionally prepared as a milk decoction. In the Ashtānga Hridayam, Vagbhata mentions arjuna in the treatment of wounds, hemorrhages and ulcers, applied topically as a powder.

The combination of these herbs is what makes Kamalahar very effective in the treatment of liver disorders including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, ascites and jaundice.

Mr. H. S., a resident of New Delhi, was suffering from Hepatitis B. He has been through many different treatment and spend thousands of Rupees with no benefit. He came to know about Kamalahar, ayurvedic liver product. He was skeptical in the beginning and had lost all hope. When he started treatment through the ayurvedic product, he was almost sure that nothing will happen but he still decided to go ahead with the treatment as there was no other option left for him. There is currently no cure for hepatitis in allopathic world. As time progressed his, liver condition started improving. After 4 weeks of treatment the various parameters of liver showed a movement towards normal condition. His HsAg, SGPT etc were moving towards normal range. Finally after 6 months of hepatitis treatment through Kamalahar, he is back to normal and he is hepatitis negative now. Along with taking Kamalahar, Mr. H. S. had to follow a diet control. He had to avoid alcohol completely and minimize the intake of fatty and oily food.

Hepatitis (A, B, C) has been called a silent epidemic: As the most common blood-borne viral infection United States, it affects more than 7 million Americans — yet, most don't know they have it. But the condition can lead to the development of cirrhosis and liver cancer, and is the leading indication for liver transplantation in the United States.

Baby boomers have the highest rate of hepatitis infection, so the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently recommended that all people born between 1945 and 1965 get tested at least once for it. People with other risk factors for hepatitis (e.g., previous intravenous drug users, previous cocaine users, recipients of blood transfusions before 1992, and people with tattoos and body piercings in places other than the ears) should also get tested, regardless of age.

Once hepatitis is diagnosed, it is not easy to cure using western medicine but there are good cures available in traditional medicine. Kamalahar is once such ayurvedic or herbal medication which has been proven very effective in the treatment of liver disorders including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver and ascites.

Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

CDC: 99 people fall sick in hepatitis A outbreak in various parts of USA

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are now
investigating 99 cases of hepatitis A infections across eight states that may
be linked to tainted frozen fruit.

Townsend Farms Organic Antioxidant Blend, which was sold in
Costco and Harris Teeter retailers, contained pomegranate seeds from Turkey
that may be behind the outbreak. Hepatitis A, a dangerous liver-damaging
disease, is rarely seen in the Americas, but is more frequently found in North
Africa and the Middle East.

No cases of illness have been linked to the products sold in
Harris Teeter stores. Costco has removed the product in question from their
retailers, and notified everyone who purchased Townsend Farms Organic
Anti-Oxidant Blend frozen berry and pomegranate mix since late February 2013.
Costco also provided vaccines for anyone who purchased the product from them, and
reimbursed anyone who obtained a vaccine elsewhere.

Townsend Farms, which is based in Oregon, voluntarily
recalled the product on June 3.

Symptoms of hepatitis A include fatigue, nausea, vomiting,
abdominal pain and discomfort, especially in the liver area. People may also
experience a loss of appetite, low-grade fever and yellowing of the eyes and
skin. Illness occurs between 15 and 50 days from exposure.

Sickness possibly related to the frozen fruit has been
reported in Arizona, California Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and
Washington, according to the CDC. This specific infection is hepatitis A virus
(HAV) genotype 1B. This same type was found during a 2013 outbreak in Europe
linked to frozen berries and a 2012 outbreak in British Columbia related to a
frozen berry blend with pomegranate seeds from Egypt, but those events are not
related to the U.S. outbreak.

Based on the information the CDC has gathered from 87 of the
99 people who may have been sickened by the frozen product, the poisoned range
from 2 to 87 years in age. The majority (63 percent) are women, and 51 percent
of all the patients have been hospitalized. Seventy-one out of the 87 people
reported eating Townsend Farms Organic Anti-Oxidant Blend frozen berry and
pomegranate mix and buying it from Costco.

The Associated Press reported that a lawsuit was filed in
New Mexico against Townsend Farms. The plaintiff is asking for compensation for
treatment and reimbursement for vaccines. Similar lawsuits have been filed in
California, Hawaii and Washington.

Make it a habit to start your day with a plate of good old oatmeal. Add dry fruit, walnuts and honey for better taste and even more health benefits. Such healthy breakfast will lower your blood sugar, improve digestion, give you energy and make you feel full for many hours.

Include cultured dairy products into your daily food intake. Those are for example yogurt, buttermilk, cottage cheese, kefir, etc. They improve digestion, remove fats from our body, and therefore improve liver function as well. Eat 1 cup of yogurts or cottage cheese a day as snack. It will ensure your liver health and also help you lose extra weight.

Including vegetables and fruits is essential for any healthy diet. They are both delicious and nutritious providing us with vitamins, minerals, and energy. But certain vegetable can also improve our liver function and are great for preventative diet for fatty liver.

Or liver loves carrots, bell peppers, pumpkin, butternut, tomatoes (fresh), oranges, lemons, grapefruits. So make sure you eat these fruits and vegetables regularly.

To prevent fatty liver disease eat few tablespoons of honey and cranberry jam every day. This jam is easy to make, very yummy and full of health benefits. To prepare it simply combine 1 cup of fresh cranberries with 1 cup of honey. You may eat is as is, or spread it over the toast or add it to our tea.

Warning: this jam is not recommended for those who have diabetes or gastrointestinal problems.

Get into habit of having few vegetarian days every week. During those days eat vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and dairy. Avoid fatty meats, cheeses, butter, eggs, bacon, burgers, cakes, etc.

This trick will take a load off your liver, cleanse your body and will help you to get rid of extra pounds. And it is not hard to do especially when you know that it is only for one day.

As always: drink plenty of water (at least 8-10 cups a day). It is best to drink water in between your meals and choose good quality spring water for this purpose.

Eat small frequent meals. Usually it is best to have 5 meals a day with 3 larger meals such as breakfast lunch and dinner and 2 smaller ones (as we called them – snacks). Of course you should adjust this rule to your personal lifestyle. Just make sure you have at least 4 meals a day.

Fatty liver disease can be caused by parasites as a result of bad quality foods and poor personal hygiene. Make sure all animal products that you consume are clean and hygienic. Thoroughly wash your fruits, vegetables before you eat them. Avoid eating raw chicken eggs, and uncooked meats.

Alcohol is perhaps the biggest liver enemy – it permanently destroys liver cells and frequent alcohol intake may lead to very serious liver conditions. Try limit your alcohol intake and prefer red wine to other alcoholic beverages especially those with high alcohol content.

Along with diet control if you are suffering from fatty liver than Kamalahar (www.khatorepharma.com) is very effective in its treatment.

Hepatitis C is a liver disorder which is caused by many ways such as blood transfusion, using infected needle, etc. It is transmitted by blood-to-blood contact, or by exposure to another person's infected blood. Hepatitis C can later on lead to many other liver problem such as cirrhosis or even liver cancer.

Many of the world celebrities from different walks of life are known to have Hepatitis C. Pamela Anderson is believed to have gotten Hepatitis C through the use of an infected needle. Brooke Ashley has gotten infected with Hepatitis and HIV during the making of a movie.

Christopher Kennedy Lawford is the nephew of President John F. Kennedy. Lawford grew up with U.S. presidents and movie stars as close relatives and personal friends. He is believed to have contracted it in his early years but it wasn’t until 2001 that Lawford was diagnosed with HCV.

Anita Pallenberg is an Italian-born actress, model, and fashion designer. She was the romantic partner of Rolling Stones multi-instrumentalist and guitarist Brian Jones and later the partner of Keith Richards, the guitarist of the same band. She is also known to have been infected with Hepatitis C.

Anita Roddick, founder of Body Shop chain of stores, and Rocky Aoki, the successful Japanese businessmen, contracted hepatitis C due to blood transfusion.

Many other celebrities such as Natalie Cole, David Crosby, Steven Tyler, Dharmachari Aryadaka and many more been diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

Hepatitis C does have any vaccine at this time and it is the leading cause of liver transplant in the United States. Thousands of people die each year from the disease. The symptoms of infection can be medically managed when the disease is diagnosed early, and a proportion of patients can be cleared of the virus by a course of anti-viral medicines. Like other liver disorders (such as cirrhosis, fatty liver, ascites), Hepatitis does not have proper treatment in allopathic medicine. In the alternative medicine world there are herbal or ayurvedic products which are proven to be effective in the treatment of hepatitis and treatment of liver disorders.

<![endif]-->More than 25 years ago, when Kamalahar (Herbal or Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of liver disorders such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, ascites and jaundice) was first created, no one envisioned that it will one day reach and cure the patients of USA, UK, Malaysia, etc. For a long time the reach of the product was limited to states in the eastern part of India. It was the launch of new strategy in October 2010 that opened up the new market space for the product.

The product first expanded its reach to whole of India. Marketing cost is a big component of product cost for over the counter products if you want to reach all the nooks and corners of a country and more so for a country like India which is huge. The strategy was to reach all the corners of India and make it very easy for customers to order the product. The order system was designed keeping mind the limitation of Indian eco-system. There were some initial hiccups but they were corrected over time.

Once the model was tested for Indian market, it was expanded to other parts of the world. It took little additional cost to expand the reach. The only limitation right now for the overseas market is the difference in regulations in different countries with regards to importing of Ayurvedic or herbal medicine. Kamalahar has seen good growth in countries which are friendly to herbal medicines. In countries which are not so friendly, the buyers have to go through a pain point whereby they have to undergo the inspection by local authorities. Hopefully with time the company will be able to overcome the hurdle.

Indian politics is highly competitive. There are many political parties fighting with each other for the same 55%-60% of the votes. The political parties especially the national parties Congress and BJP are fighting in the Red Ocean with me too products. As a result, none of the parties are getting the full verdict and all of them are getting a small share of the pie. This has resulted in hung parliament and coalition government for past two decades

The strategies of all the political parties are almost same with minor difference. If we draw the value factors on the strategy canvas, their curves will converge with very little difference. They are all going for socialist oriented subsidy based policies with no offering to attract youth. BJP which at one point claimed to be a party with difference has become a copy of Congress. Whenever BJP brings up any issue, the main strategy of Congress is to showcase that they stand for the same thing. People are having a tough time in choosing between the two. The condition is ripe for a blue ocean offering.

India is a young country and more than 50% of its population is below the age of 25. Right now a very small percentage of young people participate in the election. According to Election Commission of India there are 675 million voters in which 40% are youth but the voting turnout of youth in the 2009 general election was between 20-25%. This is a space which is ready to be tapped and the political party which creates a blue ocean strategy mobilizing the energy of youth will be a big victor.

The newly launched AAP party is trying to tap into this energy. But they lack the resources to fully implement their strategy. Also there are some contradictions in the APP party too which will make it difficult for them to fully mobilize youth. The national political party which is ideally placed to go after this group of non-customers is BJP. Generally, youth are anti-establishment and for change. If the situation is going to be status quo then it is difficult to attract their attention and get them excited. If a party is pitching for change for better and is able to resonate with the feelings and imagination of youth then it is much easier to mobilize them. Hence, it will be difficult for Congress to rally the youth as they represent status quo and even though they have a youth leader who is going to take control of the party in near future, the youth are not able to connect with him. The big disadvantage of BJP right now is lack of leadership at the national level that can connect with youth. The only silver lining they have is in the form of Chief Ministers of some of the states. In the recent state election of Gujarat, the voter turnout was very high but still BJP won with a big margin. If the party can fix its national leadership issue and create a coherent strategy which resonates with youth then it will be difficult to stop their juggernaut. One of the mistakes BJP has done is going after the personality of the first family or prime minister. This is a wrong strategy to go as Indian electorate is very sensitive towards weak. BJP ends up creating sympathetic feeling towards PM and first family which back fires on BJP. So the strategy has to be based on concrete value proposition that targets the second tier non-customers of youth rather than going after a negative campaign. Youth are in general aspirational, idealistic and want to achieve great things in life. The strategy has to focus on the aspirational aspect of youth and how the government will play a proactive and clean (corruption free) role in creating the right environment for development. The party does not even have to push for the youth to vote for them. With a proper strategy, all they have to pitch for is just asking them to come out and vote for the right group. The rest will be history!

Tourism is one of the biggest industry of the area primarily due to the Angkor Wat temple. The tourism industry is the country's second-greatest sourceof hard currency after the textile industry. Millions of visitors come to Cambodia every year and most visitors arrive through Siem Reap.Tourism has increased steadily each year in the relatively stableperiod since the 1993 elections and it is bound to increase even further. Most of the tourists are Japanese, Chinese, Filipinos,Americans, South Koreans and French people and the industry accounts for a significant percent of the kingdom's gross national products. Chinese-language newspaperJianhua Daily quoted industry official as saying that Cambodia will have threemillion foreign tourist arrivals in 2010 and five million in 2015. Tourism hasbeen one of Cambodia's triple pillar industries. The Angkor Wat historical parkin Siem Reap province, the beaches in Sihanoukville and the capital city PhnomPenh are the main attractions for foreign tourists.

The main marketing slogan for promoting Cambodia internationally is the "Kingdom of Wonder".
It's designed to demonstrate 3 key elements:
1. Cultural Attractions - a unique cultural heritage spanning more than a thousand years of history.
2. Natural Attractions - astonishing scenery with dense, unexplored mountains, forest, rivers, caves and waterfalls.
3. People and Traditions - Cambodians are extremely hospitable, resilient, welcoming and kind; smiles are heartfelt.

While visiting, there is another wonder, which I call 4th element, that people come across. People can trade using Cambodian Riel or US dollar. US dollar is accepted as if it is local currency. Even small sellers are happy to take Riel or dollar. At first it seems surprising and the tourist will feel that they might get bad rate for their dollar but the rate that is offered is standard no matter where one goes. This usage of dual currency also benefits locals as foreigners tend to spend more since everything seems cheap say 1 dollar, 2 dollar, 5 dollar, etc. One can get a transport called Tuk Tuk for the whole day including the driver for 20 dollar.

The free use of dual currency in Siem Reap is a win win for both locals and tourists and has also eliminated the need for a middle man called currency exchange service. It is a great example of how a country can reap great benefits with simple yet elegant policy decisions.

Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

New India needs new leader and new strategy

It is a very common strategy adopted by business leaders but for some reason the political parties cannot learn this lesson well. If you are fighting in a very competitive space which is what is called Red Ocean and losing then the only way for you to come out victorious is if you do something different. If you continue doing the same thing you will never win.

When one looks at the current political landscape of India, one gets the feeling that the status quo will remain after the next general election with a very minimal change in the power structure. The current situation in India is a golden opportunity for an opposition party to mobilise the masses and win big but right now there is none to take advantage of the unrest and anger against the ruling coalition.

What the opposition needs is a Blue Ocean Strategy which will allow them to focus on key issues only and align their organization structure around that focussed strategy. At this moment the opposition is all over the place. They are trying to create strategy based on their existing organization structure. They raise issues which do not excite the masses and waste their energy and Parliament’s time. Moreover, they are fighting their own internal battle rather than fighting the governing coalition. When the opposition attacks the government on corruption they do not even sound credible.

So for the opposition to give a real fight they have to create a blue ocean strategy that is focused, divergent from the ruling coalition and has mass appeal. Once they have identified the strategy they have to build their organisation structure to suit that strategy. If they decide that they will go for development, anti-corruption and youth focused policies then they have to put a leadership at the top which have credibility for these three groups. They cannot go with just mere words. They have to look at leaders in their camps who can appeal to people on these three areas and develop the campaign around that. The leaders who taint and spoil these areas have to be put into background for now.

Hopefully, the opposition parties will learn from the common sense of business world and come up with a winning strategy and structure for the next general election and make the coming election more interesting and give hope to people.

India suffered yet another miserable defeat against Pakistan in the second one day match. The world champions are at their nadir point and looks like there is no bottom right now. The infighting among the team members at its highest and there is lack of trust among players. It reminds us of the old days of mid 90’s and 80’s when Indian team was group of individual players rather than a cohesive unit.

After the defeat the Indian captain blamed seniors for the defeat. One wonders is he talking about players senior then him or is he including himself in the seniors too. The story of seniors leading to defeat is stale now and the captain should think about a new alibi. Most of the seniors have retired over the past couple of years and right now there is hardly any senior left.

In the past series the captain blamed the defeats on senior saying that they can not field well. Now the team is of young people who can only field and they cannot bat or ball. But the fielding is harldly anything close to Jonty Rodes either. At least Jonty helped win South Africa just by his fielding but the current bunch of so called great fielders of Indian cricket team are hardly anyone close to Jonty.

One wonders what will be the next alibi of captain after the next defeat. The status of team right now is such that we can not hope to win a one day match at home against any of the decent teams leave alone test match. Even though Sachin was forced to retire before the Pakistan series, we al aer wondering what happened to the so called great batsmen who were waiting to replace him.

We all hope that Indian team puts its house in order with some drastic changes which eliminates the infighting and creates a cohesive unit which fights till the end and every ball. The entire family of Khatore Pharmaceuticals, the maker of fatty liver treatment and ascites treatment product Kamalahar, wishes Indian team best wishes for the last one day international against Pakistan.

Two of the greatest superstars of Bollywood and Kollywood (Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth) have been suffering from liver problem. They are great friends and admirers of each other. They are both considered demigods in India and two of the greatest entertainers that Indian movie industry has seen. The causes for the superstars suffering from liver problems are different but both of them have been fighting with in a great stride.

Amitabh Bachchan, the Shahenshah of Bollywood, suffered from liver cirrhosis as a result of the blood that he received after his near-fatal accident on the sets of Manmohan Desai's Coolie on August 2, 1982. It is believed that the Liver cirrhosis has claimed about 25% of Amitabh Bachchan's liver. In his blog Amitji admitted he needs constant medical tests "to keep checking if there is any further damage taking place in the liver". Amitji displays Great Spirit in his fight against liver ailment. Despite the ailments, Amitji displays a tremendous sense of humour in his blogs. He has also written that when the doctors start to unstrap him he feels "like Sachin Tendulkar after he has returned to the pavilion after scoring his 101st Test century".

Rajinikanth, the superstar of Tamil movies, have been suffering from liver problem for past few years. He has been treated in Chennai and Singapore and it is believed that his movie Rana has been delayed due to his health problems. In Rajini sir’s case the ailment is minor and is understood that is mostly due to his diet and drinking habit.

Every year millions of people suffer from liver problem and even after decades of research the western medicine has not been able to identify a cure for liver problems such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver and ascites. One of the biggest hopes for the patients suffering from hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver and ascites is ayurvedic or alternative medicine. There are numerous ayurvedic products which are quite effective in liver disorder treatment. One such product is Kamalahar.

Singapore is a developed country with people having an affluent lifestyle. With the rise in affluence, many young people are not getting affected by liver problems. Fatty liver problem is generally considered to be an old age problem, but now fatty liver is becoming common among young people who drink little or no alcohol.

"The incidence of fatty liver in Singapore is increasing just like in most parts of the developed world. Many of the relatively young people whom I treat for gallstone disease also have fatty liver," says Pierce Chow, senior consultant at the Department of General Surgery of Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore.

A fatty liver is an abnormal accumulation of fats in the liver cells. Non-alcoholic fatty liver is closely linked to obesity, diabetes and the metabolic syndrome, conditions which are also on the rise in the developed countries. Studies have shown that 80 per cent of obese people and 70 per cent of people with diabetes have fatty liver disease. High cholesterol and high blood pressure are also correlated with fatty liver although fatty liver can be found among the young and thin with no high blood pressure.

The western medicine does not have a good cure for fatty liver. Most of the patients have to depend on diet control and exercise to reverse it. However, if fatty liver is not managed properly, it can lead to a more serious liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) where the fatty liver becomes inflamed. NASH may progress to permanent scarring and hardening of the liver, a condition called liver cirrhosis. People with liver cirrhosis have a higher risk of liver cancer. A fatty liver also carries a higher risk of liver failure, should surgery of the liver be required. The good news is that alternative medicine or ayurvedic medicine is proven to be quite effective in the treatment of fatty liver. One such ayurvedic product is Kamalahar (www.khatorepharma.com) which is very effective in the treatment of fatty liver. Along with taking Kamalahar, patients suffering from fatty liver must follow diet control. They must avoid alcohol completely and minimize the intake of fatty and oily food. The patients have to cut down on carbohydrates and eliminate refined sugar, e.g no sugar in coffee. They have to eat plenty of vegetables, whole grains, pulses and legumes. Apart from diet control, if the patients do regular exercise than it can help speed up the recovery. If possible, they should exercise at least five times a week. Each session should last at least 30 minutes. It can be any form of exercise but it should at least raise the pulse rate moderately.

2012 is finally coming to end. It was an eventful year for Khatore Pharmaceuticals. Finally the online channel has started to walk and we are looking forward for it to run in 2013. It has been a journey full of perseverance, patience and hard work. As the say every great work is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.

The reach of online channel is gradually increasing day by day and month by month. There are still some hurdles on the way which needs to be overcome in order to enable Kamalahar to reach all the people suffering from liver problem in different parts of the world. God willing we will be able to take Kamalahar to all the people who are in need of it. It has proven time and again its effectiveness in the treatment of liver problems such as treatment of hepatitis, treatment of cirrhosis, treatment of fatty liver and treatment of ascites. There are many heartening stories that we heard from patients in different parts of the world in 2012. People who were thankful that Kamalahar was able to help them, where they had been let down by allopathic medicine. Also treatment with Kamalahar is very cheap compared to hundreds of thousands of Rupees or dollars that they had to spend in their treatment when they went for western medicine.

For example, one of the patients, Mr. G from USA, had his liver at grade 13 (grade 14 being the worst). He had lost all hopes when he started taking Kamalahar. But after 6 months of treatment with Kamalahar his liver was back to grade 1. Similarly another patient was asked to go for liver transplant which would have cost him millions of rupees and he could not afford it. Instead he decided to go with Kamalahar and he is on his path to recovery. We hope to help many more patients through Kamalahar. Wishing everyone a very happy new year.

The last test
match of the 2012-23 Indian England Series will be starting from Dec 13.
It is crucial for many players for many different reasons. But it is
much more crucial for the master blaster Sachin and the man with the
midas touch Dhoni. Both Sachin and Dhoni are under tremendous pressure
right not.

Two of the great players of Indian cricket are facing different kind
of challenges. Dhoni, the best ever captain of Indian cricket, is under
the threat of losing his captaincy. The team is not performing well and
if India loses the last test match it will be curtains for his
captaincy. The only saving grace for Dhoni is right now there is no
alternative captain but then the selectors might go for the kill and
make Gambhir as the captain of Indian Test Team. At the same time, it looks like the time for Virat Kohli has come. He might become the captain
of 20-20 and one day team. Such drastic changes are needed if India is
to regain its status in international cricket. It is a big fall for the
leader whereby just one and half years ago everyone was singing praises
for his leadership. There were stories that he will be made case study
in Business schools of India. Right now there are many question marks on his leadership. The saying the victory has many relatives and loss is an orphan comes true once again.

The second player who everyone is watching with baited breath is
Sachin Tendulkar. He has not done well in last 1 year and there are
renewed demands for him to call it day and retire. He had a golden
opportunity to retire immediately after the world cup win. He would have
gone on a high but he missed that opportunity and it will be sad to see
a non-glorious departure of one of the greatest players of world
cricket. I for one definitely want him to retire. As I want him to make
sure that his test records are never broken by anyone in near future.
The current situation is such that Jacques Kallis will break Sachin's
test record in next couple of years.

One fortnight is a big time in anyone's life and the next fortnight is big for Indian cricket and can lead to big changes. But whatever happens, it would be good to
provide what is due to Sachin and Dhoni. They have given a lot to
Indian cricket and they should go in a graceful way. The whole family of Khatore Pharmaceuticals, the makers of Kamalahar (ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of hepatitis, treatment of ascites, treatment of fatty liver), wishes both Sachin and Dhoni best wishes and hope and pray that they come out with flying colours.

Virender Sehwag will be playing is 100th test
against England starting 23 November 2012. He is one of the few players in the
world cricket to do so. It is a great achievement which the whole world
salutes. I still remember the day when Sehwag entered the Indian team as a
spinner but he went on to become one of the greatest batsman of all times. His
scoring rate is phenomenal no matter which form of cricket he is playing.

Sehwag has a strike rate of over 100 in many test and one
day matches. He is known for reaching his 50s and 100s with a hit of six or
four. He is one player which has changed the way how opponents treat Indian
test team. He is known to take away the game in 1 single session. Many times
the pitch seems completely different when Sehwag is batting and other players
are batting. When Sehwag enters the field tomorrow to play is 100 test, it will
be a wonder to watch. We hope that he will score another magnificent 100 in his
100th test.

over 20 years. He has set hundreds of records in all form of cricket from one
day, test matches to 20-20 in both international and first class form. He has
been a tireless warrior for past 20 years. The time has finally arrived when he
will send adieu to the international cricket. There are rumours that he might
retire by the end of this year and give way to the new blood. He has been
underperforming for the past few test matches and has been bowled in quite a
few occasions. A player of Sachin’s calibre getting bowled again and again is
cause of worry for many. It shows that finally age is catching up with him.

these incidents would not have worried anybody as he can recover the lack of
form in few months. But this time, TIME is not on his side and he does not have
the liberty to give himself time to recover his form. In case, he does not
perform in the current India-England series than there will be pressure on him
to call it a day and retire. Also there are many promising young players who
are showing great talent and attitude even in test cricket. One of them is
Pujara who hit his first double hundred in the first test match of the series.
That gives the selectors some freedom as it has decreased the pressure on them
to find a replacement for Sachin. Virat Kohli can easily replace Sachin at
number 4 position and there are a number of players who can fill up the number
5 position.

though Sachin has a huge fan following and he still commands a huge respect
from the opponent it will become increasing difficult for him to continue. Many
of the people including the family of Kamalahar, the ayurvedic product
effective in the treatment of hepatitis and treatment of cirrhosis, would want
Sachin to continue till the next world cup. The fans would like him to go as
long as he can as it is always a treat to watch him play. People throng in
large numbers even during a test match to watch him play. Many people are
praying and hoping that he performs well during the on-going test series of
India England so that pressure on him to retire goes down.

In my previous post I mentioned the start of Blue Ocean Journey for Kamalahar. In this post I would like to elaborate on how things moved and the execution of Blue Ocean Strategy for Kamalahar continue.

The Jaipur meeting with the online partners, Aurigait, was quite fruitful. During the meeting which coincided with the Deepawali festive season, we discussed a play to launch the online platform within 2-3 months. The strategy curve was created and all the frivolous factors such as creating a very strong and powerful payment gateway system was eliminated. We realized that the customers or noncustomers who are going to buy Kamalahar will need to talk to someone from Khatore Pharmaceuticals before they can complete the purchase decision. Hence we do not need to spend money on building a secure payment gateway. The second decision was to go for innovative promotion on the internet using Google search engine as the target. This allowed Kamalahar to reach to a large number of people all over the world. But in the begining the team decided to focus a big part of the budget on the Indian market.

Once the initial plan was finalized the team went about working on the platform with a great speed and the site was launched in 4 months. The first customer who was suffering from liver disorder came through the platform in februrary and from then on things started moving quite fast. From then on Kamalahar has been able to cure thousands of patients suffering from liver problem. It has cured cirrhosis, hepatitis, fatty liver, ascites for numerous patients.

Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

Start of Blue Ocean Strategy Journey Of Kamalahar

It was one of the regular trips to Noamundi TISCO club. The club is located in a very nice and serene environment of the mining belt of Singhbhum district of India. Many a big honchos of TATA group have met there and created their own blue oceans in iron and steel industry.

During the course of conversation both Mr. Vijay and I started discussing about how to take Kamalahar to the new market place. Based on the visual exploration that Khatore Pharmaceutical executives had done, it was clear that there was a great untapped market in the curative area of liver treatment. The liver problem was growing among urban middle class and there was no product positioned to cure the liver problem especially hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, Ascites, jaundice.
That discussion led us to Jaipur, the pink city of India. That was just before deepawali, the festival of light and also the day when many Indian businessmen worship goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. The beginning was almost like a line from the book Alchemist. When you are following your destiny the whole world will conspire to make it happen. When we had our first face to face meeting with the partners in Jaipur who were going to play a key role in the successful execution of blue ocean strategy, things started falling in place quickly and led to where we are today.
Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

Selling Kamalahar online - Blue Ocean Strategy in pharmaceuticals

Khatore Pharmaceuticals was trying to figure out the right way to reach the masses who have been suffering from liver problem. When we analysed the industry and created the current strategy canvas it was clear that the industry consisted of players who were focused on going through the doctors. It created high cost for the companies and hence the customers had to pay a high price. At the same time there were many hurdles in reaching the patients for any good pharmaceutical company with a product which can be taken by the patients directly. In order to overcome the blockages the company had to redraw the strategy map of the industry and create innovative mechanisms of its own.

There was clear cut value in the product as it was proven to cure many of the liver disorders such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, ascites for which there was no cure in traditional medicine. Also there was big mass of customer who were untapped currently. The thing that was required was to come up with a right strategy to tap into this customer base.

The company went through the six path formulation of its strategy. By looking across industry, we found that what HP had done in online PC market can be applied to its product line up. HP had both traditional sellers like Best Buy, Fries Electronics, etc. At the same time it launched the online channel. Also looking at the time trend it became clear that internet is going to play an even bigger role in the buying decision of people. We also looked across chain of buyers and decided to eliminate some of the influencers that play a big role in the purchase when you are going through those channels. Instead it decided to stress on customers as brand ambassadors. They become the key player in its marketing channel by showcasing the testimonials of the beneficiaries.

The company also realigned the people proposition by reconfiguring its supply chain to suit the new way it was going to market Kamalahar. It also made exclusive deals with courier companies to provide speedy delivery to the customers so that their anxiety was reduced. It added 24/7 customer support line whereby people can call to get advice on the product.

The strategy was launched with much enthusiasm and slowly the business processes were adjusted for the execution of the new strategy. After the initial hicups the processes are in place now and after 1 year of execution it is clear that the product is now in pioneer category of PMS map.

It is in the state of Pahang. The journey started with a bus ride from Kuala lumpur to the cable car station of genting. It was quite smooth as there was not much traffic due to ID celebration.

Once we reached cable car station we had to go through a pain of 1 and half hour of standing in the line. But once we got into the cable car, it was awesome as the ride was quite cool. We went through the mountains and deep forest full of mist. It took us another 15 minutes to reach Genting.

Once we reached Genting and settled down, we started the discussion on how to take Kamalahar to numerous sufferers of Hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver and Ascites. We discussed our blue ocean strategy of expanding the customer base to reach as many noncustomers as possible in quick time.
We are quite excited about the prospects and soon see some interesting results. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

Vilasrao Deshmukh - Another sad demise due to liver problem

The people living in developing countries are suffering because of this. At the same time the profit of many pharma companies operating in developed countries is going down. This is a classic industry situation which is crying for value innovation. In this situation one company that stands out is Khatore Pharmaceuticals and it's blue ocean strategy to sell Kamalahar to its buyers.

Over the past 12 months it has expanded its reach to many noncustomers. Many first and second tier noncustomers who were either rejecting the current offering or are looking for a better alternative to their liver problem have moved to Kamalahar. The next 10-12 months will be very crucial to make Kamalahar blue ocean strategy successful.
Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

Kamalahar on the verge of tipping point

Kamalahar, Ayurvedic liver medicine, is on the verge of tipping point. The word of mouth has started to spread fast and is growing every month. It started in a small way but slowly it is starting to pick up. Word of mouth is the cheapest marketing that can help the company reach a large audience at low cost.
Khatore Pharma online strategy is a blue ocean in the medicine world. It provides high value to the customers at a very low cost. The cost of 1 course of 6 month treatment for hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, ascites is less than 100 dollars. The alternative for the patients is to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on expensive western medicine.
The company is a pioneer in the developing world as far as pharma industry is concerned. Now only thing that we have to see is if the strategy takes the company into full blue ocean or not.
Kamalahar - Ayurvedic treatment for Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis and Liver Disorders

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
